OK so, I don't know if there's actually as much to this idea as I thought when I wrote this in the dead of night lmao but here's my reasoning -
It's a love song of a woman gushing about her boyfriend who's the titular genius of love which is Yasugapcore
The singer also references her bf being absent/missing a few times? Yasugap are separated for a lot of Jojolion and Josuke does seem to be a bit distracted by his whole plot and leaves poor Yasuho behind sometimes :(
At the same time, the song is a celebration of a lot of revolutionary artists, especially black artists such as Smokey Robinson and James Brown who were both the inspirations for Smokey Brown. It's a song about the history and culture of American music which is right up JJBA's alley
It, in turn, is also apparently one of the most-referenced songs of all time which makes it very culturally-significant and influential in the music industry
THE MUSIC VIDEO!!!! It's the exact sort of colourful, wacky, iconic style that makes me think of Jojolion!!!!!! It has a ton of beach and summer imagery and the little kissing fish are Yasugapcoded 🥺 (also remind me of Karera's fish bandana!!!)
It just sounds so 'Jojolion'? Apparently it's genre is a mix of post-disco, new wave, dance and synth-pop and it's hard to explain but it just has this very unique and 'quirky' sound to it and I think Jojolion warrants that sort of song
So yeah, that's my reasoning for this 3am post on why I think a song I only found out about 3 days ago should be the Jojolion credits song lol
*wakes up in a feverish state* WAIT. 'Genius of Love' as the Jojolion ending song......
