#please help name my boy

oc naming difficulties

so. my clans project features basically all of my warrior cats ocs that i've ever cared about. and in particular there is one that is giving me Troubles.

traditionally, his name is harepaw. he was born in shadowclan but found out that he was half-clan and moved to windclan (his father's clan) because he yearned for the desert, but also because his mother hated him.

however. i have another oc, harepounce, who is already established as one of windclan's medicine cats in the story. i don't allow cats in the same clan to have the same prefix, so one of them needs to be changed-- and harepounce has seniority, both in the world (as he's much older) and in real life (because he's been around as an oc for longer). so i need a new name for harepaw.

however.

he has always been called harepaw in my heart.

i don't know the tumblr of the person who did this art for me, but they went by Buzz at the time. i've had it for years, but harepaw is the one on the left. traditionally he's a little paler than that, too. if anyone has any ideas for what his name should be, hit me! however i'm going to make a list of prefixes that it cannot be

Yarrow, Beetle, Brindle, Cricket, Crow, Dust, Ember, Larkspur, Hare, Night, Thistle, Smew

(i'm not going to be using the name Smew- in the story, but his boyfriend pictured here is Smewpaw. Smewpaw isn't my OC so i'm not comfortable using him in my work, but I still don't want to name Harepaw 'Smew' lol)

i also tend to subscribe to more traditional "based on the coat color" names, so nothing about his eyes or general gangliness is preferred

OH YEAH. so LOTS of different types of names are available! ShadowClan lives along the beach so there's plenty of beachy names possible, WindClan lives in a desert, SkyClan on a mountain, ThunderClan in the forest, and RiverClan mostly in/on a lake

The boy on the left who was abused and wandered aimlessly afterwards just like Tomura did and Dai is "weak" and loves heroes just like Izuku. Except the boy on the left is like the version of Tomura who got saved on the street and is now training to be a hero, and Dai is like Izuku if he had a quirk back then and was told straight away that he could be a hero

Trying to avoid buying more plushies (bc I do not need more) by rekindling my love of my current ones and after just chilling with this guy for a minute I remembered how much I love him dhskdhhdkskdjdhdk he got me through the rough times and he’s kinda coarse which I like but his paws are so soft which I like and he’s so chonky which I also like and like dhskdhdkdhskdnk

Anyway I’ve had him for years but never really gave him a name that stuck . I just kinda call him Chonky boy or some variant of that but bro deserves a real name and I gotta find a good one sooooooo got any ideas 👉👈

I also feel like he needs something added to him for more personality (mine or his 🤷‍♀️) but clothes don’t fit him and I like that he’s cuddly so maybe I should embroider him with something?? Or attach things to him to making him customized?? Idk but if you have ideas for that too that’d be great ^^

wammy ponies... I'm working on the adults next muhahaha.. the designs are subject to change but here's my first ideas ^_^

I wanted to say Matt's cutie mark is a little weak compared to near and Mello's which mirror each other, but I have unlucky numbers inside the screen of his game console. And three hearts to symbolize video game lives but also the three impactful moments of his life.

Mello's is a shield and cross, with a black unlucky horse shoe with wings. As he ages the wings on his cutie mark become black, at the time of his death they would be completely changed.

Near's is clearly his signature dice along with a light lucky horseshoe, and a sword. I like the sword and shield symbolism for these two and their marks considering they are two half's of a whole. Not necessarily a broken whole but they are both mirrors of everything the other is not. Mello is the shield that protected near, considering how much work and effort he puts in, and near is the sword that strikes the final blow. Being luckier than mello could ever be.

However when you usually see these two, their cutie marks will be covered up, replaced with their respective Letter. Matt however chooses not to cover his, relying on his fake name to protect him from Kira, though he isn't actively involved in investigating, he just listens to and helps Mello.

i really like butcher but i feel like that's a basic answer and also the wrong answer. in another world id like frenchie but i can't get over how much i hate the actor. I love maeve theres never a moment she's on screen where im thinking get this woman outta here she's always entertaining to me. i like starlight but (and this is probably a bit nasty to say) there's smth a little uncanny valley about her sometimes where when she's talking im not listening but staring at her face trying to see what features throwing me off. I hate ashley but the actress played an insufferable character in jessica jones too and I really appreciate her ability to play The Most annoying woman you know.

centrist answer i like them all (except stormfront. hated her before i even knew she was a nazi. she was on insta live and i was waiting for her to explode and die) but my fave would have to be butcher bc i find im rooting for him the most and constantly justifying his actions. but sometimes karl urbans accent pisses me off. also black noir but he doesn't Do anything so it's hard to have him as a fave bc he's barely there.

HELP!

For anyone with extensive CPU knowledge, please please please I am reaching out.

I have a Windows 8 (sue me), and I got it used from a guy that rebuilds laptops. When I start it up, it will start, open to the login page, and once it unlocks, the entire display is dark. It's on, because the light is still coming from the screen, but there's no display whatsoever.

I've tried letting it die and recharging it, turning it on and off, and disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, but so far I've had no luck.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Idk who needs to hear this, but if you're trying to call any kind of buisness or office, dialing the number nonstop 50 times without stopping or leaving a voicemail is not going to make whatever other task or customer they're taking care of dissapear so they can answer your call
