ways to avoid certain death:

DONT say you'd fight for your life when goner kid asks

DONT take the river person's boat

CLOSE the door flap right before you go through the bushes

AVOID ending up with the temmies

DO NOT talk to sans/horror (even though its tempting... i know i know)

DO NOT open the water valve until the color puzzle is solved

(there might be more but i can't remember as of now, feel free to add on and i'll add them!)

the two puzzles i personally struggled with the most were the bushes and the colors. for the bushes i assume you have to follow what the echo flowers and this map says

BUT PERSONALLY? i just figured out the way to the bushes by guessing. the pattern is LEFT RIGHT LEFT (and then you'll get to monster kid and be able to get sans's bone!) (if not you end up with the temmies and,,,,, aliza dies D:)

FOR THE COLOR PUZZLE you have to use the word searches given to you below:

the way you use these word searches to solve the color puzzle is to solve them and then the letters NOT used in the answers are the solutions! i solved them already so here they are

the order is BLUE RED GREEN!! input that into the water valve below sans that you unlock after returning the bone from monster kid to him and.........

when i was in high school, hetalia was my entire personality. i spent a while just observing the fandom, and made some friends and became familiar with many other people. i felt like i had a pretty nice corner with lots of people to talk to, which felt really good because i was incredibly lonely in high school (undiagnosed adhd/autism meant i genuinely had zero friends, and no idea how to socialize enough to make them irl).

and then i got really into an incest ship, to the point that it became my all-time favorite ship from the show (and tbh, kinda still just in general). and i realized most of the people i talked to regularly were antis, and i went from enjoying the fandom and feeling like i have a place i can be myself to being incredibly paranoid about anything i did. i didn't want to lose my online friends, because they were the only social outlet i had at the time. i started drifting from the fandom after that.

and then a new season came out, and the anti-hetalia crowd ramped up their hate and harrassment again, and i became so suicidal over the show that i actually had to call a suicide hotline one night to stop myself from doing anything.

i still can't enjoy hetalia the way i used to. it holds a dear place in my heart, it was my everything as a teenager and i don't think i'll ever stop loving it. but i can't engage with the show or fanworks (both by others and myself) at all anymore, it just brings back intense feelings of fear and shame.

(the hotline situation ended up being kinda funny actually. i confused the poor woman on the other end with my niche fandom drama so much that she just gave up and hung up on me without warning. that surprised me enough to pull me out of how i was feeling, which then allowed me to realize i need to take a step back from the fandom, friendships be damned.)

I was thinking about the rooftop scene from episode 10 and Moonjo's famous quote:

Of course, this scene is directly connected to the ending, when the audience realises that Moonjo managed to survive by becoming one with Jongwoo (I personally assume that Moonjo really did die during the final confrontation, although I know that some fans believe he is still alive). Moonjo is "alive" because Jongwoo embraced his murderous self. What cannot be killed is not Moonjo's body, or even Moonjo himself, but the senseless evil he represents.

However, the thing that really fascinates me is that the person who says “You can never kill me... Because there are too many of me in this world” is not really Moonjo. By the end of the series, the audience learns that Jongwoo is the one who murdered everyone; he is the one on the roof in that scene. However, while we get a scene where Jongwoo calls the twin dumb, as Moonjo did in the fake scenario, we don't get a scene of him saying that phrase. Truth be told, it doesn't sound like something Jongwoo would ever say. However, it does sound like something Jongwoo would put in his imaginary Moonjo's mouth. Jongwoo edits the story. He is the narrator. In a way, he is foreshadowing the final revelation; he is telling us "I'm one of them"; he recognises himself as one of Moonjo's selves. He knows a part of Moonjo is still inside him.
