people being dramatic about "american cheese" (in quotes bc americans didn't make it) is one of my favorite topics because it's funny to see people talk about it like it's a biohazardous waste when it's literally just Cheddar That Has Been Watered Down With Milk, And Then Emulsified

#I think she (american cheese) has a fascinating reputation #so it's cheddar which is already A Cheese and milk which is what cheese is made of #sometimes they use colby cheese too it kind of depends. but it's traditionally cheddar.#and you can enjoy hours of people making comments abt american cheese being Literal Plastic #They Can't Even Legally Call It Food!!#YOU MEAN MILK?????#that's what I like most about it. when cheese is Milk That You Did Something To. and this is kind of also just milk #that has had things done to it.#but if poor people eat it then it must be poison #I get a lot of personal joy over asking people what they think american cheese is made of #and their massive disappointment when they hear it's just cheese that's been stretched w milk #like. it's so boring. it's so uninteresting. they were really hoping it would be interesting.#it's like a hobby for me to see how many comments i can prompt someone to make abt it being non-food before i do this #''it melts weird because it's PLASTICCC'' it melts like that bc of the emulsifying agent keeping the fat from splitting #basically one of my hobbies is turning an interesting thing people make jokes about into Something Boring

I would feel bad for the mice that get caught in my traps if it were not for the fact that I have now killed 3 in the span of 2 hours to the same trap. I feel like if you keep sending members of your family out to forage for food and they keep going "ooo! Yummy peanut butter :)" to the same very obvious trap in the same location, at some point that's kind of on you.

So now my reaction to walking into the room and seeing the exact same trap with yet another mouse inside is "...idiot" instead of "poor thing".

#I say this but they figured out the basic snap trap so I had to buy the plastic kind with the easier to trip trigger #It's just that they got bold because they figured out how to lick the peanut butter without getting snapped #So now I have a bunch of traps that have a full trigger plate instead of a single trigger point #They step on the trap literally at all and it snaps #And the bait cup is deeper inside so they almost *have* to step on it to access it #Anyway I can't put out poison bc it's bad for the environment and also dangerous to the dogs #And I can't afford the electric traps #So snap traps it is #I was getting frustrated bc I kept finding evidence of mice but never actually catching them #And I remembered when I realized my rental house had mice these plastic ones were significantly more successful at catches #I actually really like mice and all rodents but wild ones spread disease and ruin food so I kind of have to #Especially if they start chewing on my wires

i don't know how people have the courage to do anything when literally everyone in the world sincerely believes you as a person will always be worthless and it is impossible for you to make anything of yourself 😂 and there's no one in your life who truly and genuinely believes in you. 😂 always only a worthless lifetime leaving behind no impact and nothing of value😂

#my life was awful #and worthless #i wasn't capable of doing anything of value in my lifetime #and i haven't ever experienced happiness or love #it feels like everyone else has a complex life that has beauty and meaning despite the hardships #and my life just feels like decaying plastic in a landfill #a piece of plastic decaying under million of tons of garbage #not even allowed the dignity of decaying naturally like a carcass or leaves in a compost #poisoning everything as it decays #unequivocally disgusting and worthless to everyone

for mental illnesses? hmmm, if I was at one point I've since changed my mind bc frankly it's just a silly idea on all accounts. I mean from a moral standpoint advocating for MAID for mental illness BEFORE doing everything we can to fix society & make the world more liveable for those with mental illness is kind of insane, & absurd. this is coming from a chronically mentally ill person who was suicidal for 13 years straight with very few windows of normalcy btw so I do know the struggle. so ya I agree with the post I rb'd about this, all the time spent fighting for MAID for mental illness is better spent fighting for free healthcare + housing + food + necessities for all, access to the arts, community, & nature, & more + better funded crisis centers (like the one I work for).

also ngl I've never even understood why people WANT it so much bc if someone really wants to kill themselves it's...kind of easy to do, making it government funded doesn't make it easier it actually would make it way harder bc they'll make you jump through a ton of hoops & bureaucracy to be approved. no one is gonna do that rather than just walk to a high cliff or tie a noose or buy fentanyl. what depressed person has so much energy? just bc suicide is not currently government funded & you can't get a doctor to do it for you doesn't mean you don't have the "right" to kill yourself, people do it every day by the 100s. there's virtually no risks of pain or living with an injury if you go the fent route too, I will never understand why more ppl don't just do that instead of GSW or cutting or OTC OD.

#Ive obviously thought about methodology a lot wrt suicide. For me fent is a no brainer #of course this is a USA perspective. if I lived in japan or smth better believe im not risking being caught buying drugs #in that case I'd probably do a CO2 poisoning plastic bag sitch #asks

If you do come back, please make an effort to practice leave no trace principles, if you catch pokemon go after invasive species over our rare native species, and please support local alolan businesses instead of the cheap knockoffs you find in Thrifty Megamart

Washing the dishes made even more unpleasant by the fact that when I opened the cabinet under the sink two roaches scurried back into the recesses. Now washing my dishes an arm’s length from the cabinet iM SO UPSET.
