Announcing Phone Guy Month 2025!

Hello? Hello, hello? I can't believe it's been almost a year since the first one!

Even though Ralph was confirmed to have gone missing the week prior to Mike's November shifts, I still think it's darkly poetic to hold this event around 90 days prior to Mike's shift as a reminder of Fazbear Entertainment's policy where they'll wait 90 days or until the place has been cleaned before they report an employee as missing. What better month to dedicate to our favourite mentor than this?

August is Phone Guy month, and 2025 comes with a fresh prompt list. Some are recycled from last year that went unused, some are from the google form, some are from my brain, and some are from the talented folks over on the Phone Guy Discord server.

It's going to run from August 1st to August 31st, but I'll be honest, you can do this whenever the hell you want, don't let a silly timeframe panic you.

There are 31 different prompts, but you don't have to do all of them and you definitely don't have to do it on any specific day. The numbers are just an ID to separate one prompt from the next. Just pick and choose the prompts you like!

It's Phone Guy month but any of FNAF's human mentors are accepted, so Phone Guy, Phone Dude, Tape Girl, and Kim. (I'll also accept Dispatch as he sort of fills a similar ecological niche)

happy 10th anniversary to freddy fazbear getting shot and dying

back in 2015 me and my friend made these parody fnaf movie trailers where the story wouldn't be about the murders but about this 🌟quirky⭐ girl who was thrown inside an animatronic suit as a baby and found out she was really human after it broke so now she has to find herself, and the whole thing just devolved into a corny romcom with her and freddy

And then we accidentally predicted sb by making a character named Vanessa who was the nightguard tormented by purple guy's ghost telling her to kill the protagonist, she eventually gives in and pulls out A GUN and shoots the protag and freddy, she gets arrested and freddy DIES until the third movie trailer

This was my first thought bc the scene at SDCC was similar to the bit in silver eyed where William/Dave shows Charlie & co around (it’s my personal theory that McKenna Grace’s character is gonna be a Charlie variant of some sort, see: her fascination with the marionette)

I don’t think he could be a young William because of the technology that the teens are shown as having, unless they’re introducing the illusion disks into the story? I don’t think they would, that just complicates everything, especially when they already have a such a popular actor playing William

Jeremy Fitzgerald ❓

Possible. Jeremy, god bless him, is a non-character. He sort of exists in one game to get killed off, and I think it’s not a stretch that the movie would just reuse the name for some random character. But if he IS Jeremy Fitzgerald, that would be interesting, introducing character traits & a story to someone who doesn’t have a parallel version in the games. (Mike Schmidt -> Michael afton, Vanessa Shelley -> Vanny, Abby->Elizabeth, Garrett-> C.C., etc.)

Michael Afton ❌

GOD. GODDDDD. I WISH. Very unlikely though, we already have our movie!Michael, AND the character who serves Michael Afton’s role in the story: Vanessa. It would be sort of narratively confusing to introduce ANOTHER character named Michael, whose goal is ALSO to defeat William. Or, if he’s Williams accomplice, the point still stands: why would you have two Michael’s.

Sammy Emily (Aka Sammy Afton/Vanessa’s Brother) ✅

I saw ppl on tiktok say this and I think this is the most likely, if he ends up being a named character. The movie has already switched Henry and William’s family around one for one. What does Charlie have? A brother. What does Vanessa not have? A brother!! It could be interesting to see the two Afton’s having different views of their father since it really seems like Freddy Carter is playing a more sinister guy.
