Why Seed Drill are Super Important in Farming
Tumblr media
Seed drills are very important tools in farming because they help farmers plant seeds in the best way. They put seeds in the ground just right, making sure they are not too close or too far apart. This helps plants grow strong and healthy. Before seed drill, people had to plant seeds by hand, which was hard work and not very good for growing lots of food.

I am so happy to be done with the first stage of the garden this year. @khamubro & @comradb0ne both had a pass with the little Earthquake push tiller. After that it was pretty much me with a garden rake, flat shovel, leaf rake, and a 3 claw cultivator out there shaping them myself. The guys both helped with picking out plants and getting them in the ground. I finished seeding it and now we have sprouts! 🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱 Broccoli 🥦 Romanesco Kohlrabi Cauliflower Casper White Eggplant Purple Eggplant 🍆 Ichiban Eggplant Zucchini Squash Butternut Squash Buttercup Squash Acorn Squash Yellow Watermelon Ruby Watermelon 🍉 Asparagus Beans Blue Lake 248 Bean Bush Bean Sugar Snap Peas 🟢 Clemson Spineless & one other kind of Okra Sweet White Corn Sweet Yellow Corn 🌽 Sweet Bicolor Corn Birdhouse Gourde Cucumbers (Diva, pickling, slicing, burpless) Musk Mellon Radishes (Watermelon, FrenchBreakfast, Scarlet Red Globe, and "gourmet mix") Turnips Colorful Beets Carrots 🥕 ...and finally 🍅 Tomatoes! We have: Midnight Snack, Mr Stripey, Pineapple, Park's Beef Boy, Green Zebra, Cherry 100 That last image is the compost pit, and resting covered, last year's compost pit. On to phase 2! 😁 I need to put up the deer net, the tomato supports, get mulch, etc. Its nice that my birthday coincided with the semi-rainy weekend when I had just finished planting and had a few days of rest! Tor, Kham, thanks for helping. 🥰💚 Happy Birthday to me! 🥳🧚🏽‍♀️💜 #family #gardening #garden #PixielandFarm #work #putinthework #homestead #gettingstarted #plantingseeds #plantingseason #gardenplot #upstatesc #ninetysix #blessed #timing #spring #springtime #eatmoreplants #compost #growingfood #sharewithothers #letmefeedyou #godisgood #seedtime #timetorest #feedthepoor #eatlessmeat #eatfresh #eatlocal #FarmUpdate (at Pixieland Farm) https://www.instagram.com/p/CNi-cQQnlfI/?igshid=1n4er5g1wx5yu

Sweet Pea Shrub (Polygala fruticosa). A cottage garden in a Mediterranean climate is well suited for this South Africa Native. 🌼 Flowers almost year round with purple flowers that bear a resemblance to sweet pea blossom and petite butterflies. 🌼 Growing to a moderate size of 3ft (1m) tall and wide, this evergreen shrub world well as a foundation plant or as a container specimen. Listed as medium in water needs, it normally requires fairly damp soil but the plant as pictured sits above a retaining wall and hasn't been watered in years. · · · #planting #gardendesign #garden #gardening #gardendesigner #plantingdesign #landscapedesign #trees #gardendesigns #flowers #spring #gardendesignmag #gardendesigners #plantingseason #landscaping #plantingfieldsarboretum #gardendesignsideas #plants #gardendesigne #plantinghope #gardendesignerofinstagram #planting_trees #gardeninspiration #plantingday #plantingtime #plantings #plantingtrees #cottagegarden #paisajismo #losangeles (at Highland Park, Los Angeles) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_nbkjfghlo/?igshid=nfioxlptv2gp

These 3 gallon gardenias are off to their new homes! 🏡 . Gardenias are great shrubbery if you want evergreen foliage with an intoxicating fragrance for months at a time. 🤗 . The south’s most beloved shrub (watch out azaleas!) is a sight for the eyes in every season. Unlike other flowering shrubs that bloom all at once and then it’s over for the year, gardenias bloom over and over again from spring until fall. 🌼 . If you live in a warm climate (zones 7-11) you should definitely have a gardenia or several in your landscape. . Perfect Plants offers four gardenia varieties that range in size and shape. Our personal favorite: the Kleim’s Hardy Gardenia for its exceptional cold tolerance down to zone 7 and yellow flower centers. . Plant them somewhere the fragrance can be enjoyed.👃🏼 . . . . . . . . . . . . #myperfectplants #gardenias #gardenia #shrubs #shrubbery #plantnursery #onlineplants #plantshopping #onlineplantshop #onlineplantseller #plantshop #shrub #nurseryplants #planty #plantsofinstagram🌱 #tractorpulling #plantsplantsplants #landscapeplants #landscaping #whiteflowers🌼 #foliagefriday #foliage #greenleaves🍃 #leavestagram #plantsofinsta #iloveplanttherapy #planttherapy #spring2020 #happyplanting #plantingseason

WHAT SEEDS ARE Y🤔U PLANTING Paul has been encouraging Christians to live a life marked by the fruit of the Spirit (📖 Galatians 5:19–25) and to support each other in the struggles of life (📖 Galatians 6:1–5). Christianity is all about the grace of God. He gives us good things which we could never have earned on our own. In our sin, we deserve death and suffering. Instead, in Christ, God gives us life and purpose. Still, as Paul states clearly in this verse, the grace of God does not eliminate the principles of choice and consequence. In this life, our decisions will bring with them natural results. We must not lie to ourselves, that because of God's grace and forgiveness of our sins, we will not suffer any harm if we continue to choose sin. To believe such a thing is to mock God, to make light of Jesus' sacrifice for our sin on the cross. 💁🏽‍♀️ What we do in this life does matter, beyond even the question of whether or not we will see heaven. In eternity, our choices will be reflected in our heavenly rewards, for those who are saved (📖 1 Corinthians 3:12–15; 📖 2 Corinthians 5:10), or our eternal punishment, for those who are not (📖 Revelation 20:11–14). Until then, the "crop" we produce between now and the moment of our death is also determined by the "seeds" we plant along the way. God's natural laws of cause and effect still apply, to believers and unbelievers alike. Paul will expand on this idea in the following verses. 🤲🏾 Harvesting Seasonings #abidinginchrist #plantingseason #harvestingforthelord #bibleref #scripturewithpatu #jesusislord https://www.instagram.com/p/CggGh8ENzgA/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
