Adding to the THREE MUSKETEERS collection I'm working up (building on the existing lead character drawings); the lackeys! Pious Bazin, daredevilish Mousqeton, stoic Grimaud, and crafty Planchet.

Name: Planchet Species: Human (Non-powered), Medium Status: OPEN
No one can pry you away from your ouija board. Everyone assumes it’s grief, some strange mourning pattern you’ve fallen into after losing someone so dear to you. Of course you want them back. Of course you want to try to communicate. But others don’t understand – and neither do you, really, but you’re positive your loved one is talking back to you through the board. Maybe you have latent mediumship abilities that have flourished as you’ve grieved, or maybe you’re just a normal run-of-the-mill human, but either way, this ghost seems to be drawn to your ouija board, or even drawn to you. They sound exactly like themselves, and you’re willing to look past the odd demand here and there. You’ll do anything to help them through their afterlife. And you’re not going to humor that the loved one who has made contact could be anything but them, and not someone or something more sinister. No matter how much your skin crawls and no matter how strange your loved one’s requests to you are, you’ll believe in them just like you always have.

Also I know this is probably not going to happen but I'd love the lackeys to exist in this universe. They're the best especially Planchet and Mousqueton
Thoughts on episode 2:
Milady : Imma lure in d'Artagnan by passing as an innocent victim
Also Milady, 5 minutes later: Yeah I framed you for murder so what wanna hook up (she knows EXACTLY what's up)
Meanwhile Mme de Chevreuse disappeared as Aramis' love interest in favor of THE QUEEN which is gonna be a PROBLEM. If I were the queen i'd be in love too
I need Constance to slap more people
D'Artagnan needs a mustache. Give him a mustache
Also, not enough Richelieu. I need more of Richelieu murdering people

In the rue de Seine he ran into Planchet, who had stopped in front of a pastry shop and seemed to be in ecstasy before a brioche of the most appetizing shape.

I spun a number wheel and got 13 so whoever’s number 13, this one’s for you:
What is your 7th least favorite color?
13: elisabetta mcbride, 17th century.
7th least favorite color… oh! that particular shade of blue on pale denim jeans. ever since jeans became something the modern maidens wore more frequently, anyway, she’s ever so slightly discomforted by pale denim blue. but it’s not in the same way she dislikes her stronger least favorites.
#speaking comedically of the dead#planchetting#cantrips#(colored text for that character’s style of answering. but i prefer to use third person and that carries over to their responses.)

Anyway... previous REBLOG aside.
On Friday, my mom and I were doing our monthly visit to random stores, and because it was THERE [on sale!], my mom mentioned, 'Look, a Ouija board!'
I smiled and said, 'OH YEAH! Let's buy it!' and she just shook her head and said, 'Nah! Then you'll get possessed!!'
I thought for maybe a few seconds... IMPOSSIBLE... We're all here already...
Then went back to, 'BUT THINK ABOUT IT! for only $8 you get your own demon!'
She just shook her head and went on her merry way to continue checking out all the things they had on 'clearance'.
Yeah that shit was on clearance.
But yeah, my inner demons shook when I expressed interest in bringing the Ouija board home. *cackles*
*shrugs*
I don't play that shit, though. I don't feel like letting those assholes out. I'm already here. That's enough for all of us.
#ITRW#Demons for Clearance#P.S. The Ouija Board was 'Wednesday' themed. lol#It had a photo of Wednesday's hand holding the planchet with 'Thing'. *cackles*#Wednesday Addams

Oh, most definitely Laurens. He just had that energy, ya know?
Hatsune Miku binder lives rent free in my brain and I want it EVICTED.
Fun fact: one time when I was high with one of my friends, he turned to me and said- with a completely straight face mind you- "do you think Hatsune Miku has a Thomas Jefferson binder?" And THAT has lived rent free on my brain ever since
#you need a talking to people tag?#what about 'are you with us' ?#cause#ya know#hellfirenchant#planchet#actually ill see myself out

Cancel me for this if you want, but as a lifelong pagan, I hate wiccans.
Wicca isn't real paganism. It was invented in the 50s and it's intrinsically tied to racism, cultural appropriation and its practitioners don't respect the (often closed) practices it steals from.
Most wiccans are just going through a phase, and they'll eventually find real paganism or "find Christ" (usually Catholicism) eventually when they outgrow their goth phase. I don't take Wicca seriously.
#also fuck silver ravenwolf#her real name is Jeanne and she's a trump supporter and terf from dillsburg pa#we used to run in to each other at the flea market her coven runs a stall at#fucking scammers made people pay them to bless my handmade resin ouija boards and planchet jewelry boxes#fuck wicca#fuck silver ravenwolf#fuck wiccans tbh

A few countries around the world have an alternative to Ouija where you use a glass instead of a planchet, including Denmark, the idea being that you trap or invite a spirit into the upturned glass which will then move it around. Traditionally you write out all the letters and numbers on individual papers and arrange them in a circle.
But it’s not uncommon for lazy people to just use an ouija board.
In Denmark we call it Ånden i Glasset which means The Spirit in The Glass. For whatever reason I was explaining this whole concept of trapping a ghost in a glass to my young nephew while he was playing with a gengar plushie I had crocheted for him and naturally he did this.
Kids are fantastic.
