Doing more plaid matching today. In fact I plaid-matched the sleeve plackets. This probably sounds fairly ordinary if you don’t know a lot about how to sew sleeve plackets.

And maybe slightly more unhinged if you do.

I am making a flannel and I’m plaid matching the shit out of it. It’s so satisfying to make everything line up the way I want it to.

That’s the inner yoke. The bias-cut is the outer yoke. And yes, I plaid-matched the inside that no one will see but me.

And I will hand-baste if I need to. This flannel is just a little bit shifty and tends to pull off-grain easily. But it’s pretty so I don’t mind. I got it from Style Maker Fabrics.
