The Crown Tundra has slightly different pokemon Variants then the ones we're used to, but some of them have a completely new appearance. Here is one!
Magikarp
Both Crownen Magikarp and Gyrados both have gained the Water/Dragon typing. These Magikarp's fins have become bristle-like and is more sensitive than whiskers, keeping them able to sense any danger. They have also gained teeth to help them catch their prey. Crowen Magikarp live in large lakes feeding on the hard shells of Pokemon like Chewtle and Krabby. They are more primal and stronger than their Kantonian counterparts, and regain the aggressive traits of their distant ancestors.
Here's its shiny form
Gyrados
Crowen Gyrados gain a lighter blue for their primary scales and a bronze color as their secondary scales. They eat the hard shells of Kingler and Drednaw, and their teeth have become longer and sharper to help with that. Gyrados will then take their prey away into their sea caves and store them for hibernation. While Kantonian Gyrados has been feared throughout many cultures, Crowen Gyrados were seen as powerful deities, and there were beliefs that pleasing it would grant you good fortune and a long life. They've always been loved for their golden scales, and their gold scales were said to grant immortality, which made their scales highly sought after. This variant is bigger and tougher, with its bulkier body helping it endure the colder climates of the Crown Tundra.
I can't find anything abt area zero having increased shiny odds but 4/5 of my shinies were full odds from there and the one pokemon that i didn't get there is a gyrados from a mass outbreak which have slightly increased odds
affiliation: hoenn, psychic ( trainer class ), wanderer
bio:
marcellus was born and raised in hoenn, but due to unfavorable circumstances with his family, ran away at the age of twelve. he generally avoids law enforcement or other sources of authority, and does not trust most adults. this fact only solidifies when he finds out about the experimental trials to which he was subjected as an infant -- these utilized pokemon dna ( from whismur, in his case ) in an attempt to allow him to hear. the goal did not succeed, and the trials only caused marcellus to gradually become hybridized with that whismur dna.
his journey started in hoenn when he met poochyena, who protected him from another wild pokemon trying to attack him. from there, he wandered from region to region, rescuing pokemon along the way, and eventually awakening to latent psychic abilities. under the tutelage of others in the psychic trainer class, he would improve both his own psychic abilities and the abilities of his team. this team consists of mightyena, gardevior, gyrados, beedrill, pikachu, and breloom, all of whom were rescues ( save for mightyena ).
marcellus continues to wander from region to region, learning more about pokemon and other cultures. his goal is to one day become a pokemon professor, but he still trains to be strong in his own right.
I'm thinking Thorton, Lucy, or Dahlia. (I like the Batte Arcade. It's fun.) (The tentative outline-and this is up for revision-is that Emmet and whoever accompanies him are pulled into PMD, have an adventure, and THEN they get dumped into Hisui-while still stuck as Pokémon. While they've been Adventuring and saving the PMD Universe, their Pokémon have been scattered across Hisui, so they have to find them and reunite them-while still stuck as Pokémon themselves, and evading the Survey Corps.
Mmmmmhh! If you go that route, Lucy and Dahlia may be best, since they have more then a single pokemon known to their name like Thorton LMAO we love your funny bronzong funyn bzweep man.
Lucy's got her Serpent Team meanwhile Dahlia's got these guys
Silly Dusknoir? Silly Blaziken? Silly Togekiss? many silly choices.
I feel like everyone and their mother agree on Lucy Seviper though... Pmd fun. !!! If you want /mega/-able pkmn, both of em got choices (Blaziken is good and Lucy's got both Steelix and Gyrados)
I AM very interested to see how you go about the au though :eyes: always a sucker for more battle facility head content outside of the funny train men
