Morpheus’ laughter felt odd to Hecate’s ears, especially considering the current battle happening. She was surprised he had any energy left to laugh. Hecate had exhausted herself so much, both through keeping Manhattan asleep with his help and through attacking Olympus. She wouldn’t have thought him keeping a city asleep had affected him at all if she just heard him but there were a few signs of his form that told her he was somewhat tired.

Unlike their other companion.

Nemesis smiled at Hecate. “I told you, Hecate, the war will be fine without you, you deserve to get some rest. Besides, you look horrible, I don’t think it would fair of me to just let you drain yourself dry.”

Hecate opened her mouth to object, Nemesis placed a finger on Hecate's lips. "Your children will be fine, if there's any consequences because of this we'll deal with them together, there will still be plenty of opportunities to raze Olympus, bla bla bla."

"Is all you think about razing Olympus, Nemesis?" Morpheus walked over to the two of them and laid his arm on Hecate's shoulder so he could look at Nemesis.

She scoffed, "Like you are any better."

"I'm doing something, what are you doing to help the war you chose to fight in?"

"I am helping." Her smile grew like there was a joke they were both missing.

Hecate shook her head fondly. "You appal me. Both of you" She chuckled lightly at her own joke.

Nemesis mockingly gasped. "And you have never done anything wrong, right?"

Hecate sighed, "Alright, a rest sounds nice, thank you."

Nemesis rolled her eyes. "Don't get too used to it."

I commented on every chapter of "PJO femslash week" by peachiekeeeen, and it was so worth it. every chapter was so interesting and unique. there were several very fun AUs, and so many wonderful ships. my personal favorite is pipabeth- I love how the author wrote them and their dynamic. very fun overall, highly recommend!

You will probably like this fanfic. It is the same premise "The Gods read Percy Jackson" tm, it is fem!percy, though.

Untill now very critical of Annabeth on the gods behalf, so idk how percabeth will play out. If the author ever reach the five books. So whatever. Nonetheless it is an interesting reading.

I think I saw this fic a while back but I ignored it because it was Fem!Percy. I skimmed it to see if I would like it and it does seem interesting.

I do like that the other PJO demigods are absent, replaced by other past demigods. I also like the idea of Percy's sex providing a nice discussion about the respect of female heroes and the curse of the big three. Also I love that the characters are being fairly criticized! Athena and Ares being done with their daughters was so sweet!

I don't know. I still don't care much for Fem!Percy and by the time this WIP finishes, my interest in this fandom will likely be gone. And if Percabeth does become a thing, I have even less interest in femslash, more like zero interest.

Still appreciate the rec! I'll probably be reading certain sections again because it is fun to read.

they go wayyyy back im simply inspired by the greats (pre 2010 fanfic writers)

emison, jackieshauna, percabeth

Emison — I kept shifting them around because nothing felt totally right and it’s a ship my mood varies on but they’re definitely more compelling to me than not. If we’re talking about flashbacks Emison I’d put them on the same level as Percabeth just in the don’t make sense side (as in they shouldn’t be together probably most likely) those flashbacks are good and compelling. If we’re talking about 4b-5a I’d put them higher than Percabeth bellow Jackieshauna that was a great era for them… if we’re talking about post jump they tip towards the doesn’t compel me side of the chart I do not like their storylines at that point at all. Book Emison (as in both Emily/evil Alison and Emily/Courtney and how they played off each other) was generally at the placement I actually put them at, more compelling than not but didn’t make me crazy. So if you average out all of that this is where they go on the chart, but at their best they are really compelling to me and they probably are my favorite canon pll ship or at least tie with Emaya for that (I pretty obviously tend to favorite noncanon femslash when it comes to pll). Percabeth — I love them, I don’t have a lot to say about them rn because I’m not in a pjo focused headspace anymore.. But Percabeth was formative and they have a very good arc and are a blueprint in a lot of ways. Jackieshauna — incredible ship with an incredibly potent narrative. Zero hesitation in putting them high up there when it comes to compelling content. In some ways it’s what Emison should have been to me although I also think they share tons of dna with Spalison… I wasn’t totally sure where to put them in terms of making sense because one of them is dead and her being dead is pretty important to the narrative but like. the narrative makes sense. so I put them in the middle there.
