Handmaidens (To a goddess, to a queen)
When P!Percy shows up on Circe's island O!Annabeth is the one who is on edge, they've been here before. For some reason O!Annabeth recognizes the girl who leads her away to change, she can't tell from where but somehow, this person is familiar.
Circe guides Percy over to the mirror, Percy sees into the past, dressed as an Itican queen, Percy sees into the present a boy dressed like a confident warrior.
As they escape Circe's island, P!Percy makes eye contact with two people, calling out for them is Penelope's instincts, curtsying back is their's. Her handmaidens have returned.
I think it would be really cool to have Reyna and Hylla being some of Penelope's former handmaidens, espically because they also served as Circe's handmaidens while on the island. Originally I was going to going to make Reyna one of Penelope's sisters but I wanted to include Hylla in this and it felt weird if Jason would make out with his aunt (this is also why I'm not going with the obvious idea of Piper being Helen, I don't personally ship Jiper but it still felt weird.)
Or maybe Hylla was one of Penelopes handmaidens and Reyna was her younger sister who grew up Telemachus.
Also it would really complicate P!Percy's relationship with the Romans and the Amazons, considering she used to be the queen of their preator and queen, (respectively).
This might even be their first realization that there are other people out there who were reincarnated and that itself could cause drama.
I still think even with this they would most likely be seperated due to the fates trying to keep the Romans and the Greeks seperate until time is right.
Also it would make Jason and Reyna's relatoinship at CJ much more complicated because (I think) Reyna becomes preator before Jason does so she outranks the person whose mother she once served.
I don't know I just want Penelope!Percy and Circe to sit down and have tea, I feel like after having to put of with all Odysseus's nonsense they deserve it. + in Epic Circe wasn't a bad, bad guy so it could work....
This and all other Percabthe Reincarnation Au content I post is co-brainstorm with @wrensflight

Knight of Olympus
*Jaune and Penny are looking for a powerful shape shifter*
*Penny upon hearing her name being called behind her ready to strike*
Jaune?(Obscured in shadows): Be on your guard my double could be anywhere
Penny:*Language wholly unique to Remnant*
Jaune?:....I'm sorry what?
*Penny scowling before blasting at the impostor*
Circe: *Turning back into herself* How did you...?
Penny: Jaune doesn't know how to speak old Atlastian, but he would know what it was, unlike you.
*Penny uses a spell to bind Circe up & picks her up*
Penny: Now... where is Jaune!?
Circe: I-I don't know...
Penny: *Tightens the binding spell* LIAR! *Continues to tighten the spell* Tell me where he is before I strangle you or pop you like a balloon!
Circe: I-I don't know! I swear!
Penny: *Glares* Wrong answer... *Chokes Circe to death*

Hylla Ramírez-Arellano
These are only for romantic pairings, not platonic.
The ships in the polls are the twelve (12) most popular ships for each character based on the number of fics on AO3. However, Hylla isn't shipped with twelve different people and so there are only ten (10) options for her poll.
F.A.Q.
Ship List:
Kinzie/Hylla (hynzie)
Zoë/Hylla (hylloe)
Percy/Hylla (perylla)
Thalia/Hylla (thylla)
Hylla/Reyna (hylleyna)
Apollo/Hylla (hyllapollo)
Artemis/Hylla (hyltemis)
Circe/Hylla (circylla)
Hazel/Hylla (hyllazel)
Melinoe/Hylla (hyllione)

a quick psa to anyone recently getting into greek mythology and is a victim of tumblr and/or tiktok misconceptions:
-there is no shame in being introduced to mytholgy from something like percy jackson, epic the musical or anything like that, but keep in mind that actual myths are going to be VERY different from modern retellings
-the myth of medusa you probably know (her being a victim of poseidon and being cursed by athena) isn't 100% accurate to GREEK mythology (look up ovid)
-there is no version of persephone's abduction in which persephone willingly stays with hades, that's a tumblr invention (look up homeric hymn to demeter)
-as much as i would like it, no, cerberus' name does not mean "spot" (probably a misunderstanding from this wikipedia article)
-zeus isn't the only god who does terrible things to women, your fav male god probably has done the same
-on that note, your fav greek hero has probably done some heinous shit as well
-gods are more complicated than simply being "god of [insert thing]", many titles overlap between gods and some may even change depending on where they were worshipped
-also, apollo and artemis being the gods of the sun and the moon isn't 100% accurate, their main aspects as deities originally were music and the hunt
-titans and gods aren't two wholly different concepts, titan is just the word used to decribe the generation of gods before the olympians
-hector isn't the villain some people make him out to be
-hephaestus WAS married to aphrodite. they divorced. yes, divorce was a thing in ancient greece. hephaestus' wife is aglaia
-ancient greek society didn't have the same concepts of sexuality that we have now, it's incorrect to describe virgin goddesses like artemis and athena as lesbians, BUT it's also not wholly accurate to describe them as aromantic/asexual, it's more complex than that
-you can never fully understand certain myths if you don't understand the societal context in which they were told
-myths have lots and lots of retellings, there isn't one singular "canon", but we can try to distinguish between older and newer versions and bewteen greek and roman versions
-most of what you know about sparta is probably incorrect
-reading/waching retellings is not a substitute to reading the original myths, read the iliad! read the odyssey! i know they may seem intimidating, but they're much more entertaining than you may think
greek mythology is so complex and interesting, don't go into it with preconcieved notions! try to be open to learn!

headcanon that percy and annabeth have a relationship contract they made after they got together once the war came to pass. they outlined it on paper in percy's bedroom. typed up a final draft using sally's laptop. and printed out and laminated it at the local library on their two month anniversary. and they abide by it like it's the law.

C.C.'s Isle in Sea of Monsters is so much Funnier if Percy is Trans, even more funnier if he didn't know he was Trans before the Isle.
Before the Isle, Percy was already secretly hating their current appearance, but what if that was Dysphoria? And C.C., having not been in contact with the modern world in a long enough while to not know what Transgender people are, just starts criticizing Percy's appearance for all of its masculine aspects like usual... And Percy agree's with her, cause they hate them too, and she's just left there confused.
Then we get to the Mirror, and it can go one of 2 ways, one of which is much more funnier.
The first way it can go is that the Mirror shows what C.C. thinks is that person's ideal form, In which it shows an Older Male Percy, and this Percy who's secretly Trans Recoils from the mirror because they hate the image the Mirror shows them and either they don't know why or they do know why and start doubting their Trans thoughts because "That has to be my ideal form, she told me so."
The second one, and the one I find most funny, is if the mirror truly is magical and shows what the person looking into it's true ideal form looks like, and so C.C. just gets hit with the full force of recoil when she see's that the perfect image of this person she thought was a son of Poseidon's ideal form was a beautiful Woman who could (if Apollo was Around) argue that they should have won the Golden apple that led to the Trojan War.
And C.C. is now stuck in the terrible situation of thinking "Oh my Gods, did I accidentally Misgender someone? Have I been Harassing this Tomboy on their natural masculine appearance and have been bullying a young Girl?!?!?!" And is truly having an existential crisis, because that's why she runs her isle, to protect girls from bullying, but she thinks she's accidentally just bullied a girl who is so unfortunate in genetics to look masculine.
And if Percy didn't know he was Trans before looking in the mirror? Well they do now, because he see's who's obviously him with longer hair, taller, their body has developed a feminine aspect to it, and they can say they truly want to be her. Someone who looks like a Goddess, though they'd never admit it.

Hermes was Alexander Hamilton.
Zeus made him mortal as a punishment in the 1700s.
George Washington, son of Athena, was the demigod that claimed his service.
Angelica was a Sally Jackson type that could see thru the mist.
Eliza was a Tristan McLean type that wouldn't have been able to comprehend the truth.
Phillip was a demigod.
Hermes later adopted the pseudonym Lin Manuel Miranda, writing and starring in his own biographical musical as a "fuck you" to Apollo
When Disney announced they were going to produce Percy Jackson's biography he made sure to get himself involved with that
Hermes is also Troy Doherty and voices himself for Epic the Musical
