Dolldrops adventure in MCM Comic Con London

Finally settled my PC back up and I can post these pictures!

The Dolldrops and I had a fantastic time in London last weekend! The dolls received many compliments, head pats, hugs, and other lovely comments from people daily!

They met Marta Svetek, Kellen Goff, and Dawko! Kellen also signed the dolls for me :>

I got them a lot of lovely treats like bubble tea and new plushies - It was their first time going out to the public and they were just basking in the attention they received! Going back to the hotel and both were just sleeping in the bag or my lap like exhausted little puppies.

Now we're in our new apartment, trying to get settled. The trip was successful, even though I was pretty anxious travelling with them :D We'll be saving money to make another trip sometime in the future!

We met @kriimhild too, and she was a great help babysitting the two little gremlins so I could rest my wrists from carrying both of them all the time :'D

So. Despite having three other large works in progress in the pipe * and planning to finish them all by the end of the year (*hysterical giggle*) my brain decided to be all "yes but what about FOURTH major project?" and I was like "Goddamn it, okay yeah." The project my brain wants to work on is a beaded portrait of Ed from Our Flag Means Death. There are going to be so many atrocious Beaded Bead Ed jokes while this is in progress y'all and I will not be sorry for any of them. You have been warned. but I will try to keep everyone posted on my various social medias how that's going. * we aren't even going to talk about the 2 serial novels that are in progress over at @anagrams-anecdotes that I ALSO said I was gonna try and finish by the end of the year lolololol oh gods i'm so fucked

New Release ~ Ouroboros

The ouroboros, or the snake eating it's own tail, is an ancient symbol that expresses the unity of all things, material and spiritual, which never disappear but perpetually change form in an eternal cycle of destruction and re-creation. This ouroboros is depicted as a Celtic Knot, also known as a Bowen Knot, which are associated with love, loyalty, and friendship. I've stacked a lot of symbolism into this design, and you can take what you will.

This design comes with three variations, a blue galaxy, a pink galaxy, and a rainbow design. Alternatively, you can use your favorite variegated floss for the detail work. This is your stitch journey, and I empower you.

Personal thoughts…. I don't really like snakes in real life. I like the idea of them, but being close to them taps into that primal fear. I do love designing them, though. This design is also very vaporwave. This symbol also reminds me of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. "Ka is a wheel." Or in Battlestar Galactica… "All of this has happened before." Pattern
