Here in the finished illustration for my short story "Old Fenrir," a historic fantasy taking place during the Siege of Fort Pitt located at modern day Pittsburgh. The story is about a British soldier stationed at the fort and his encounter with the old god of the forest, Old Fenrir. It is a part of a series of stories I am working on that I currently call The "Tales of Our Ancestors." The series explores colonial and Victiorian American history in a mythological/high fantasy setting.
