This was me coming out of the courthouse last week very relieved. The guy who rear ended me was appealing the charges against him, but because I showed up to give my side of the story, he and his lawyer withdrew the appeal. I wasn’t notified of the previous appeal and the original charges were reduced. Though I am still healing from the muscle and nerve damage from that accident on June 13th, I know that other things were set right by him not getting away with no consequences. I felt like turning around and giving up because I was sooo late (too exhausting to list all of the obstacles I ran into), but I am grateful for what aligned for this outcome. If you saw Crystal Ken the last time I posted a picture of him, you know that he was sporting a very fine Spider Man body suit. Today, I was decluttering and found a jewelry box from my childhood. Amongst some burgeoning attempts at beaded jewelry, I found these: a charm from a Hollie Hobby bracelet, my pin for the National Jr. Honor Society, and the candle stick from my favorite board game, Clue. Go figure on that last one: I’m a Scorpio and love a good mystery. 😂 They feel like sacred objects, so I put them on my alter. Making the cover and pillows of this Barbie bed with the same fabric as the witch’s halter dress cane very close to knocking out the last of this print in my supply. Though I have enjoyed the process of sewing Barbie paraphernalia more than most things, using up what I have in stock has been a very satisfying thing for my Venus in Virgo self.
