Hololive / Nijisanji Cover Digest for October

9th - Into the Dream by Gilzaren III & Lee Roha

Why does this cover exist? We may never know, but it is still very good, as expected from when Gilzaren comes out from woodworks and records a cover.

15th - Cherry Bomb by Yuzuki Choco, Oozora Subaru & Himemori Luna

I want to get as many people from Hololive as possible, so here is a familiar but odd, in terms of singing, combination of SubaChocoLuna. Cherry Bomb is always nice to listen to.

15th - Romeo by Naruse Naru & Harusaki Air

I never heard Romeo more celebratory than these two singing it to celebrate their rebranding. They have gone through a lot, but their voice are clear as their Boy Band aspirations.

16th - Goodbye Sengen by Yang Nari

Nari’s voice is so cute, I wish I could bite it off, but I won’t because Nari is a precious demon lord and this cover doesn’t shave any of her cuteness away. It’s pure and it’s great.

23rd - My R by Mashiro

Mashiro covers one of my favorite VOCALOID songs with the intensity and sadness required for this very interesting song. Mashiro always brings so much emotion to his songs.

25th - Shiori by NijiRock

A very nice cover form all around. Great cast can only lead to a good product.

29th - MONSTER by OKFAMS

The immortal classic of Arashi painted by the voice of the mega group that is OKFAMS. It is such a great cover for the six to sing. It’s a cute song, but also a bit trendy. Novelty but has its value as a song in itself. It’s a good song to showcase but also to have fun.

30th - Happy Halloween by Hakos Baelz

I think it’s impressive that Baelz was the first of the council to put out a cover, and more impressive that Kronii did the sound mixing. It was very good, and very cute. Thank you.

31st - Shinigami by Joe Rikiichi

What a brilliant cover. Done as a duo cover with Piroparu, and his is worth a watch as well. But Joe just takes a command on that stage, as a natural performer and entertainer.
