Could we perhaps have a list of the characters' (so far) genders and sexualities? I'm updating my headcanon doc every so often and I'd prefer if I didn't have anything that contradicts the source material!

We don’t canonize sexualities, but there’s been one exception in TikTok. Back at the start, there was some internal debate about whether or not TikTok was an adult, so her being aro/ace was meant to be a compromise.

Since then, we’ve been treating her like an adult with this sexuality. Even though the idea of TikTok being a teen hasn’t been a concern for a while, it felt wrong to erase a part of her identity, so we kept it. I will say that it’s possible for labels to change, so it’s fine to interpret otherwise, and we will be leaving her sexuality as ambiguous as everyone else's for now.

Ultimately we don’t wanna be strict about it because everyone’s a little bi and poly and trans.

Some characters are explicitly trans and/or use certain labels gender-wise, so we can list those here. This isn’t to say characters who aren’t on this list or who aren’t specifically labeled as trans can’t be trans, or that it’s not valid to interpret them differently. Even us on the team have our own headcanons and preferences.

wizard101 and pirate101 cloutchase fun facts!

w101 is the older brother so he gets to call the shots most of the time. he always makes p101 play his game and rarely engages in pirate’s interests, even though their games take place in the same universe.

w101 crossdresses and will often pretend to be a girl to unsuspecting users to get them to buy him packs and stuff. of course they should just be able to get anything they want for free, but he does it for the love of the game (and to get more crowns)

w101 is the one who gave p101 the nickname “loremaster” as a reference to a boss in w101’s game and because p101 is very invested in worldbuilding and roleplaying.

p101 is much more diplomatic than a fighter, so i designed him as a privateer, while w101 is a fairly stereotypical storm wizard.

i love the stark contrast of wizard101 being a minmaxxer who just blades into tempest every fight while pirate101 is a strategist who commands a team in a fight (tho experienced pirates will probably tell u to set companions to auto to make the fights faster)

even though w101 can be egotistical and bossy and even mean sometimes, they’ll still stick up for their brother when things get serious. “nobody can make fun of my little brother except me” type of deal

wizard101’s eyes are like That because he’s a student of shadow magic. in the game, shadow magic has a chance to cause backlash damage to the user, which is not a big deal there, but if he ever uses it outside of his realm, the damage is more severe.

pirate101’s eyeliner isn’t waterproof. because he sails the skyway, not the ocean.

they both inherit the lore of the Wizard and the Pirate, but since they’re more inspired by the players of the game, it could be seen as roleplaying lore. this is true moreso for pirate101 because he isn’t a real pirate in cloutchase like pirate bay and whatnot. also I do not know the entire lore. it’s a lot.
