Could we perhaps have a list of the characters' (so far) genders and sexualities? I'm updating my headcanon doc every so often and I'd prefer if I didn't have anything that contradicts the source material!

We don’t canonize sexualities, but there’s been one exception in TikTok. Back at the start, there was some internal debate about whether or not TikTok was an adult, so her being aro/ace was meant to be a compromise.

Since then, we’ve been treating her like an adult with this sexuality. Even though the idea of TikTok being a teen hasn’t been a concern for a while, it felt wrong to erase a part of her identity, so we kept it. I will say that it’s possible for labels to change, so it’s fine to interpret otherwise.

Ultimately we don’t wanna be strict about it because everyone’s a little bi and poly and trans.

Some characters are explicitly trans and/or use certain labels gender-wise, so we can list those here. This isn’t to say characters who aren’t on this list or who aren’t specifically labeled as trans can’t be trans, or that it’s not valid to interpret them differently. Even us on the team have our own headcanons and preferences.
