Beidou, youngest resident of a small, secluded fishing village but not born from a family who resides there, finds that her calling, her dream, is to slay the leviathan reigning over the seas of Liyue. By some twist of fate, another young girl by the name of Ningguang stumbles into the same village, giving Beidou a companion of her own age.

When Beidou is thrown out, Ningguang decides to tag along. What will become of the wannabe pirates?

oh oh, siren! reader bringing random gifts for the women... but they vary on how much she likes them. beidou, arlecchino, navia and nilou get shiny pearls or sunken treasure chests. lynette, shenhe and layla might get a few exotic and tasty fishes and a prawn while kokomi and eula get pretty clams and conches.

It’s not a completely useless gift because you can eat sea cucumbers (I have eaten one before) but compared to what the other women got, Ningguang definitely got the short end of the stick :(

What’s worse is that to the Siren, it probably is a decent gift. While Ningguang has no idea what to do with a sea pickle, the Siren is all like “but you can eat it!” and gets a little upset when Ningguang appears to not like her gift. Not one to make the Siren disappointed, she cooks it up and eats the sea pickle in front of her to make her happy, even though she’s wincing on the inside 🥺

I’ve finally managed to get back to these drawings, this time I decided to actually make a lineart for it! Whenever I’m making these I try to remind myself it’s not supposed to be supper detailed, and that’s part of what I wanna get used to and get better at! I don’t want to be perfectionist all the time and surprisingly I’m enjoying these!

I’m making a challenge where every week day (Mon to Fri) I’ll make a small art for every character I got in Genshin Impact (including their constelations) in the order I got them

In all my other AUs it’s usually Arlecchino who is cockblocked all the time because it’s amusing to me, however it’d be hilarious if it was Ningguang’s turn in the Pirate AU, as she has always gotten the attention of the Reader in every other AU…

Well, I suppose it’s fair. Arlecchino is going to get spoiled to death with the Siren’s love (and Beidou) meanwhile Ningguang will constantly get nipped at until further along the line where the Siren is able to tolerate her. Poor Ningguang…but at least Arlecchino finally gets the attention she deserves 😅

"A frustrating state of affairs..."

Despite her words, there is little emotion in Ningguang's words, only cool assessment as she appraises the situation. Each day that passes leaves the state of the negiations with Natlan in tatters and while they can endure a small amount of wear, eventually they will corrode past the point of return and there will be no friendliness between nations left to salvage. A situation she has no interest in entertaining.

A pace to her board leaves her casting her eyes over the papers, rearranging the documents charting the course of the ship with the gold, the list of workers who knew of the contents of the ship's cargo, the staff who have been privy to some or all of the conversations. Somewhere within these notes she will find the weak link and be able to see they face consequences for the harm they have caused, thus ending matters on Liyue's end. As for the pirate problem, this requires more thought.

"Do we at least know the name of the one who has laid claim to what was ours?" she asks, turning to lay her golden gaze upon Beidou, assessing the reaction coolly. It does not escape her notice that the loyalty to Liyue is at war here, Nassau being a home that she will never understand to her companion, but she will trust in Beidou as long as her actions still show she is worthy of it. Her service has earned her that much.

"If we do not, then I will need you to sail for Nassau. I cannot have any missing pieces to this puzzle if I am to fathom a solution..."

It's not surprising the Tianquan has a bodyguard. She's a key political figure in Liyue and anyone aiming to dismantle the carefully curated hierarchy has her at the top of the list. To the public, your just muscle to intimidate the lesser crooks from even thinking about it and deal with those who get too bold.

Behind closed doors, though? Your nothing but the Tianquan's lap dog at her beck and call.

She isn't fond of public displays, but she does like hiding it in public just for the thrill. Knowing you wear your collar under your uniform so you'll always remember who holds your leash is a thrill she can't beat.

She's a bit mean and sadistic, really, but she's the Tianquan. She has the money to spoil you like a good puppy afterwards..so long as you behave and exceed expectations. Whether you lean more dominant or submissive doesn't matter, since you'll probably be subbing whether your top or bottom. It's a different kind of thrill to make you sit on her lap, stuffed full of her cock, while she works. That or she has you under her desk, one hand fisted in your hair while she uses your mouth instead.

She has to be at the top of her game, after all, and her position is a stressful one. What better way to de-stress then to put her little puppy to good use? You're just so pliant when she orders you on your knees.
