Thought of the day—Jealous Pippa (tame of course)
Pippa sits with her friends, dissecting the latest campus mystery over a Jaffa cake. Her eyes scan the room, always observant. then she sees you—her girlfriend but you aren’t alone, close at your heels is the girl you’ve been tutoring in literature. You’re huddled with her on a table a couple over, books sprawled out explaining the nuances of Shakespeare’s sonnets. Pippa’s chest tightens.
‘Why is she so close to you? Why does she laugh at your jokes? Is she touching your arm? Bloody hell Pippa, focus on your friends’
Pippa’s mind races. She’s never been possessive, but seeing you with someone else ignites a fire within her. She wants to stride over, stake her claim. But she’s Pippa Fitz-Amobi—the girl who solves mysteries, not the girl who admits vulnerability. She’s more level headed than that.
‘ Why does she need a tutor? Why does it have to be my incredibly hot girlfriend? Why couldn’t it have been William from Political science? And why does that girl keep flipping her hair? Is she flirting? No, Pippa, don’t be ridiculous.”
Pippa, you’re being absurd. She’s allowed to have friends. You’re not exclusive. But damn it, she smiles at that girl like she’s the sun rising. Maybe I should just focus on the case. The missing library book. Yes, that’s it. Not the way her fingers trace the edge of her textbook. But what if she prefers that girl’s company? What if she laughs more with her? What if—
“Pip, stop. You’re unraveling faster than a locked-room mystery.”
Cara nudges her. “You’re staring at that girl again.”
“I’m not,” Pippa retorts, too quickly.
“Jealous much?” Connor says from his side of the table.
“Yes,” Pippa thinks. ‘I’m jealous of every second she spends with someone else.’
Pippa’s jaw clenches as she watches you across the canteen. The other girl—the one with the wide eyes and the innocent smile—leans in close, whispering something in your ear. Pippa’s fingers tighten around her jammy dodgers, turning them into nothing but biscuit dust, leaving Cara mortified. “I was going to ask if you wanted them but I can see they are well past being eaten” she had whispered sadly.
One day, after a particularly intense tutoring session, you invite Pippa to join you for lunch. The other girl is there too, and Pips stomach twists. The girl leans in, her lips so close against your cheek. “Thanks for helping me,” she says. And then, to Pippa’s horror, she kisses you on your cheek—a soft, lingering kiss that sets Pippa’s nerves on fire. Your eyes are wide, brain halting, wait did that just happen? Did she know who was sitting right beside you? Your girlfriend of two years?
Pip doesn’t shout. Instead, she calmly sits close to the other girl. “Mind if I sit?” she asks, her voice steady as she peers at the girl. Pip is all dark eyes and sharp quips, you can see her body language. How she sits close beside you, enough that the girl’s eyes flutter between you and pip.
The girl blinks, surprised. “Uh, sure.”
Pippa sits down, her gaze never leaving the girl’s face. “I don’t like you,” she says matter-of-factly. “But I respect boundaries. So, let’s make this clear: she’s mine.”
You watch, wide-eyed, as Pippa leans in. Her lips brush against the girl’s ear. “Next time you touch her,” she whispers, “remember that I’ve solved tougher cases.”
The girl stammers, her cheeks flushed. “I didn’t mean—”
“Good,” Pippa interrupts. Her voice calm, yet firm. Her smile so saccharine it makes your stomach twist. “Now run along.”
The girl immediately takes her bag and flits off, looking a little to eager to get away from you two. You turn to pip. She smiles at you, all to proud of herself. You don’t know wether to be angry that she just cost you a tutoring pupil, or quite swoon worthy over the performance of heroism. So you settle on the first one, not wanting pip to grow a big head. She’s already got an ego after the Andie Bell case. (That she’ll only admit to you alone)
“You know she payed me five quid per tutoring session” you piped up, eyebrows set in a firm line. You move to lay your head on the girls shoulder, taking small bites of pip’s food from her tray.
Pip laughs, her eyebrows creasing in amusement. “Well it must be luck that your girlfriend owns a true crime podcast that makes more than that a day. 5 quid is amicable, but for a girl in your position I would offer top dollar”
“I’m not taking any money from your university fund pippa” you deadpan.
Pip sulks, her eyes holding faulty hurt. “Not even a measly five quid?”.
You hold her glare, lips seeming to turn as she eyes you with those puppy dog eyes. You grab her hand in your own, lacing her finger with yours.
You watch her eyes as they flit between your eyes, and you laugh. “I can pay in the form of kisses” she suggests.
You perk up at that suddenly aware of the way pippa’s fingers are on your thigh, fingers hot to the touch.
“I’m sorry but our bank doesn’t accept eager customers”.
Pip’s face falls, her blue eyes glaring into you with wide eyes that scream ‘annoyed and very displeased girlfriend’. Pip only shakes her head, “you know I hate it when you withhold affection!” She mumbles.
You laugh, only shaking your head before kissing her cheek, “I’m only playing with you. How much would you like to withdrawal Miss Amobi?” You ask, eyes glinting as pip moves closer. Her eyes peering over at your lips, “oh I don’t think I have an exact figure at the moment” she speaks, “I’m sure you don’t have the amount money to accommodate me”. You flush, “I’m sure we can settle on a fair amount”.
Your far to busy chasing pip’s lips with your own, feeling her lips moving against yours with fervor, chasing your lips like it’s her favorite game to play. Feeling the way pip’s lips detach and tease your jaw just slightly making you giggle. “Connor can you please sit in front of me? I’m getting an eyeful of pip snogging her girlfriend and it’s making me slightly scared for her girlfriend’s life” you hear Cara mumble, but you don’t care one bit.

ravi singh boyfriend headcannons
a/n: omg this has been sitting in my drafts for agesss sorry 😭 need to write for ravi more he’s so bf wc: 1k taglist: @heartwithsimplenotes @anintellectualintellectual @thecircularlibrary masterlist
your parents literally like him more than you now, and boy does he know it.
you’d come back home to find him in your room sitting on your bed.
“oh, you’re back! was waiting for you for hours— i started to think something terribly awful happened to you.” he got up from the bed in an instant, wrapping his arm around your side and giving you a quick peck on your head.
“hi ravi, um who-“ you furrowed your brows as you looked back to your door then back at him. “who let you in?”
“oh, your brother did.” he stated matter of factly as you both went to sit down on the bed. “then your parents asked me to stay for lunch, then your dog started playing with me, then i started to miss you so i came up to your room. it smells just like you in here.”
one thing caught your attention. “then you started to miss me? wow, i see how it is…” you shook your head dramatically and frowned in faux disdain.
he shot you a smile, “what can i say? the whole family likes me, it’s not my fault.”
“well i don’t like you.” you crossed your arms over your chest. sarcastic bits like this with ravi happened constantly.
“oh, you especially like me.” his lips turned up into a slow grin and he poked your shoulder, breaking your annoyed facade and making you laugh.
ravi makes new nicknames for you all the time.
you were talking a walk, telling him about your day when you paused abruptly and turned away from him, ravi looking at you confusedly and raising a brow.
then you sneezed, and then you sneezed again.
“woah, bless you.” he said through a chuckle, “and bless you again.”
after you tried to resume talking only to be interrupted by a sneeze for the third time, he spoke up.
“sweetheart, you’re going to be holy by the end of the day with how many blesses you’re getting.” he bent down slightly to get a better look at your face. “are you alright?”
you sniffled slightly, “yeah i’m—“ sneeze “i’m fine.” you said as your cleared your throat.
“okay sneezy,” he said as he slung an arm around your shoulder, not caring about getting sick himself, “how about we get you home, you take some medicine while i make you some soup, and you tell me what a spectacular cook i am?”
“but you’re a horrible cook.” you muttered with a light laugh.
“i’m sorry, what was that?” he bent down slightly with a large grin on his face, “you’re so excited and can’t wait? oh, you’re too sweet to me, sneezy. what did i ever do to deserve you?” he quipped back as kissed the top of your head, before steering you two back to walk back to your house.
he kept calling you ‘sneezy’ the rest of the night and for days after that.
“would you stop calling me that?” you asked.
he took a second before answering, putting a finger on his chin and looking up, before shrugging and simply saying, “no.”
a week later he was the sick one, (he hates being sick. “this is what i get for spending time with my beautiful, amazing, but incredibly ill girlfriend?”) and he would still call you sneezy.
as much as you wouldn’t like to admit it, you were missing the other cuter nicknames he would call you like crazy. but to be fair sneezy did grow on you.
his sneezes could make a deaf man hear again.
you were both sitting in silence, focus only on the horror movie playing on the tv and his sneeze literally made you scream and jump off the couch in fear. you thought you were about to meet your end.
“oh my- ravi!” you said breathlessly as you put a hand over your heart, catching your breath.
he was an absolute laughing wreck at your reaction, and all he had to say was, “what, no bless me?”
speaking of scaring you, his favorite ways to greet you unexpectedly is hugs from behind, telling you how much he missed you and kissing your head.
that, or placing his hands on either your shoulders or waist, jolting you and yelling at the same time. you always know it’s him but you get nightmarishly scared every single time. there’s no in between.
you two have a playlist together and when you’re away, he’d randomly send you a screenshot of a song on it with something along the lines of, “this song reminds me of you.”
when he has to go on a long car ride alone he sends you updates by the hour. literally.
your texts:
ravishingly handsome — Hour one, all is good. Some bastard cut me off and another nearly rear ended me, but still, all is good 👍
you — oh my god ravi
you — are you okay?!?!
you — pls call me when u can
ravishingly handsome — I’m actually perfectly fine
ravishingly handsome — Felt a strong urge to curse them out and hit something, then I thought about your face and oddly enough I felt perfectly peachy, if not a little happy 😃🙂
you — no you did not 😭 possibly giggling and kicking my feet rn
you — ur emojis make me laugh out loud
ravishingly handsome — I think I’M the one making you laugh out loud, not my emoji choices
ravishingly handsome — Also, call me any time. Always free for you.
he texts like an old man honestly, but you love it.
he’s the type to not be on social media too much, so when you say a reference/ joke he just thinks you’re insanely funny.
you don’t have the heart to tell him it’s not your joke.
you start to influence him though, and he has little pieces of your slang/ way of talking in his everyday talking.
obvious but, he is a proud member of the sassy man apocalypse.
all of your parents are now best friends because you and ravi spend so much time together and are always at eachothers houses.
it’s gotten to the point when sometimes your mom texts ravi’s mom to ask you to clean your room when you get back, because you aren’t answering your phone.
sleepovers that last days are very common occurrences.
you’re always wearing his sweaters, and he secretly loves seeing them on you so much.
forehead kisses are 24/7, along with interlinked hands and his thumb running circles on your knuckles.
he doesn’t believe in all that toxic masculinity BS, but when you hold his bicep when walking, his heart flutters a little.
he’s always mentioning you, and your friends harmlessly poke fun at him for the way he can’t stop smiling whenever your name is mentioned, or how he can’t stop talking about you.
you both adore the small quiet moments, like him putting a necklace he bought you on you, or running your fingers through his hair after he’s had a stressful day.
sometimes he cuts himself off when talking to you, or forgets what he’s saying simply because he thinks you’re so gorgeous. you act annoyed and tell him to “stop that,” but the flush on your face and the way you bite back a smile says otherwise.

Curiosity
Pippa Fitz-Amobi x fem!reader
Fandom: Agggtm
Warnings: none
Pip sat in her usual spot at the back of the Fairview High library, her fingers hovering over the keyboard of her laptop. The case she had been working on was finally over, and for the first time in what felt like ages, her mind wasn’t racing to connect dots or uncover hidden truths. But today, her focus was off, and she knew exactly why.
Y/N.
It had been weeks since Y/N transferred to Fairview, and in that time, Pip had found herself watching her more than she'd care to admit. Y/N wasn’t like anyone else at school. She had this quiet confidence, her Y/H/C hair falling effortlessly around her shoulders, her Y/E/C eyes always sharp, always observing. Pip was used to being the one who saw through people, but Y/N seemed to do the same with her.
Pip was trying to concentrate on her screen when a voice interrupted her thoughts.
“Mind if I sit here?” Y/N’s voice was soft, but there was an undertone of boldness that made Pip’s heart race.
She looked up to find Y/N standing across from her, holding a notebook. Pip blinked, caught off guard, and nodded. “Yeah, sure. It’s a free seat.”
Y/N slid into the chair across from her, and for a moment, there was only the sound of the soft clicking of Pip’s laptop keys and the rustling of papers. Pip was acutely aware of Y/N’s presence, the way her leg brushed lightly against hers under the table, sending a jolt of awareness through her.
“So,” Y/N said, breaking the silence, “I heard you’re the girl who solves mysteries around here.”
Pip looked up, her eyes meeting Y/N’s. She let out a small laugh, her cheeks flushing slightly. “Something like that.”
Y/N raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. “You don’t give yourself enough credit. Everyone knows about the Andie Bell case. You’re basically famous.”
Pip felt her face heat up even more. She wasn’t used to this kind of attention, especially not from someone like Y/N. “I don’t really do it for the attention. It’s more about… finding the truth, I guess.”
Y/N smiled, her eyes twinkling. “The truth. That’s what I’m interested in.”
Pip tilted her head, curiosity piqued. “About what?”
Y/N shrugged, but there was something in her gaze that told Pip this wasn’t just casual small talk. “You. You’ve uncovered so many secrets about this town, but I wonder… who knows yours?”
Pip’s breath hitched. No one had ever asked her that before. She wasn’t sure if she even had an answer. “I don’t really—” she started, but Y/N cut her off.
“Everyone has secrets, Pip,” she said softly, her voice low enough that only Pip could hear. “Even you.”
Pip swallowed hard, her pulse quickening. She wasn’t used to feeling this way—off balance, unsure of herself. But Y/N’s words struck a chord deep within her. Maybe there was more to her own story than she was willing to admit.
“Maybe,” Pip said, her voice barely above a whisper, “but I don’t even know what mine are.”
Y/N’s gaze softened, and she leaned forward slightly, her Y/E/C eyes never leaving Pip’s. “Then maybe it’s time you found out.”
There was a charged silence between them, and for the first time in a long time, Pip felt vulnerable—like Y/N was slowly unraveling her, piece by piece, just like she had done to so many others.
“Coffee after school?” Y/N asked, breaking the tension but not the connection between them. “I’ll help you figure it out.”
Pip nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips. “Yeah. I’d like that.”
As Y/N stood to leave, she gave Pip one last look—a look that sent a shiver down her spine. And as Pip watched her walk away, she couldn’t shake the feeling that this was only the beginning of a mystery far more personal than anything she’d ever uncovered before.
This time, the truth wasn’t about anyone else. It was about her. And maybe, just maybe, Y/N would be the one to help her find it.

Lines in the Sand
Paring: Pippa Fitz Amobi X fem reader
Summary: At first you had been concerned after this new behavior from pip, after nearly being drugged by Becca Bell she had become slightly neurotic, even going so far as not taking tea from anyone, expect you of course, and even then you’d watch as she’d eye the tea cup, her eyes flashing with memories of Becca bell. There was a new primal anger that seemed to reside in the young women, perhaps it had always been there and you had never noticed. But she was quick to snap at you, more irritated at the smallest noises. Which why now you found it hard to bring up the topic, you didn’t want a screaming match or a row, all you wanted was for your concerns to be heard. You knew that Pipa was counting down the hours to Jamie’s disappearance, knew she had a specific time limit she needed to reach, and heard her talk anxiously to Ravi on the phone that if she missed it she might as well pack up and leave it to the Kilton police. You didn’t want her to quit, that wasn’t what you were asking, at all. You just wanted her to take a minute, to breathe, to eat, to sleep. And perhaps, look at you in the process
Warnings: angst, fluff, comfort, pip being the cutest detective to ever live. Reader being childhood friends to lovers (let me know if I missed any)
Authors note: I must have spent hours on this alone, this is for my first anon ask, this is for you!! I hope you enjoy it and please don’t be shy to ask for any other suggestions or even headcannons. This was my first time writing Pippa, I tried to write her character as true as she is in the books, of course with some creative tweaks as this is fanfiction. Thank you the anon you requested this ask, I appreciate you more than you can know! 🫶
Word count: 3k+. Gif by Caitlynskitten.
You watched Pippa type furiously on her laptop, her eyes glued to the screen. She had been working on the Jamie Reynolds case for weeks now, trying to find evidence of just where the man toddled of too, while you admired her passion and dedication, you couldn’t help but miss her presence, her random bursts of her pipism’s that would leave you with a wide smile as you hid your face in the crook of her neck, her laugh causing vibrations against your throat. You missed the cuddle sessions after a particularly hard and rigorous revision, the schedule that pip would follow almost without fail. Come home, revise, homework, dinner, shower, and bed.
You were particularly fond of the bed part. The way after a shower Pip would pad out into your shared room, a t-shirt and sleep shorts, a major difference to her outfit of the day, which reflected her usual studious nature. you missed the way she would throw herself on the bed, her nose crinkling up as she crawled her way up to you, taking the book in your hands gently and discarding it roughly on your nightstand, her eyes all to eager on your features, particularly your pink lips that were just begging to be claimed by her. you missed the way her lips would softly tread against the pale skin of your neck, each brush of her lips against your skin comforting and calming your heart. Pip knew how much you relished your routines, had been ever since you met a seven year old pip in primary school, when she had proudly defended you against the other kids, who had found it odd that you had your pencil crayons color coded.
Which was why pip made sure to keep up her schedule, if that meant at precisely eight on the dot cuddling up to you and kissing you till her lips were chapped and you were aching for more than so be it. But of course your schedule’s hadn’t been the same for weeks, not since a frantic Connor had begged, begged for Pip to take on his brothers case. You had been hesitant, while you loved the passion pip held for these types of cases, you didn’t want another Andie Bell replay. The one where you had rushed to the hospital, watching as your girlfriend’s stomach had been pumped, her body far gone as she had been drugged by Becca bell. It still left you with night terrors, waking up to just find your girlfriend fast asleep beside you.
But of course you weren’t one to stifle her ambitions, and when pip had gave you a ring the following day asking with a confused and almost pleading voice if you thought she should take this case, you had only smiled, telling her that she knew what was best for her, that this decision was one she had to make herself. Did she want to do this all over again? Did she want to draw more attention to herself, far more than the prying eyes of little Kilton’s residence. That was all up to her. You were just the supportive girlfriend, ready on hand with loads of coffee and healthy kisses to administer when times were scarce.
You knew from being with pip for more than half of her life, and especially with the Andie Bell case how consuming and all out obsessive Pippa Fitz Amobi could get, you remember the way she had neglected school affairs, going so far as getting suspended the last year of school, all because of the case. For two weeks now you had yet to say anything, to make your worries known, one thing you hated was contention, although you were not so sure now as she was often the one bringing the contentious aspect to the table, mostly her burning fury at Max Hastings. You more than anyone understood her burning hatred for the boy, after everything he had done to Becca bell and countless other defenseless young women, it made your stomach churn just thinking about him and his “little blue bottle that he carries around like a life force”.
At first you had been concerned after this new behavior from pip, after nearly being drugged by Becca Bell she had become slightly neurotic, even going so far as not taking tea from anyone, expect you of course, and even then you’d watch as she’d eye the tea cup, her eyes flashing with memories of Becca bell. There was a new primal anger that seemed to reside in the young women, perhaps it had always been there and you had never noticed. But she was quick to snap at you, more irritated at the smallest noises.
After nearly two weeks of being ignored from your girlfriend, even pip going as far as asking if you wouldn’t mind staying at your mums for the night, two nights in a row, on account of her needing to “clear her mind and focus” you had enough. It was not in your nature to be contentious about anything, especially when it came to pip. You had been more than supportive, even going as far as inviting Ravi Singh into the group with open arms. Did it irk you that he and pip had solved the Andie Bell case together? Maybe. Did it irk you that they now had bonded over mutual connections and seemed to be getting closer and closer these days? Maybe just a tad.
But you knew pip loved you to pieces. “ Disgustingly devoted” as Cara would put it. Ever since that day in year 10, when you had very shyly asked pip if she would accompany you to the dance, it had took you ages to gain the courage, you had complained to Cara that pip and you were the best of mates, but that you had begun to feel quite different about her. Like suddenly her smile was wider to you, you’d find yourself making jest’s just to see her smile that pip smile. Or how her eyes shone, the grey flecks seeming even more cobalt in colour.
Plus you didn’t know if pip was even fond of girls. You had never talked about your sexuality before, but you were sure pip knew after she had found your eyes trailing the older girls in upper sixth form, blushing when one of them called you cute in the corridor of the canteen. Cara had laughed, shaking you by the shoulders and telling you to pull the bull by the horn. Needless to say that lead to a very horrendous and giggle endured day, when you had practiced asking out Cara, asking her for tips and how do ask Pipa.
“Why do you look like you’re about to be sick on the floor?” Cara had said, eyes moving about your form, she had laughed, moving to grab your shoulders, “and stand straighter. There we are! Perfect! Now go ahead”. “Eye contact! You’ve known pip for years! Why now do you suddenly find the wall more interesting than her!”
You still smiled fondly at that, to this day. Luckily for you pip had found your nervousness to be cute, and had immediately said yes upon your ask, taking your single red rose that you had given to her with trembling achy fingers. You can still see the blush that adored her cheeks.
Which why now you found it hard to bring up the topic, you didn’t want a screaming match or a row, all you wanted was for your concerns to be heard. You knew that Pippa was counting down the hours to Jamie’s disappearance, knew she had a specific time limit she needed to reach, and heard her talk anxiously to Ravi on the phone that if she missed it she might as well pack up and leave it to the Kilton police. You didn’t want her to quit, that wasn’t what you were asking, at all. You just wanted her to take a minute, to breathe, to eat, to sleep.
Pip hadn’t slept for days. The bags underneath her eyes were getting more apparent, and she would just shrug it off, stating that as soon was Jaime was found she would be able to rest.
You sighed, running your hands through your hair, trying to find a way to bring up your worries to your girlfriend. You settled for coming round and leaning over her looming figure on her laptop, watching as she very cleverly orchestrated a floor plan of the calamity party that Jamie had been sighted at. Time stamps laying about the floor plans, Pippa’s messing handwriting laying neatly on the screen.
You took solace for the fact that pip had seemed to finally let a breathe out as your fingers made contact with hers, looping together and holding fast. Your soft fingers tracing soft shapes over the skin of her knuckles. You laid a soft kiss on her forehead, hoping that would catch her attention, but when that failed you settled for her name.
“Pip?” You said softly, ghosting your lips over her hairline.
She didn’t bother looking up, to engrossed in the screen, you knew her well enough to know that she was or probably going over all possible plausible events of what Jamie could have been doing there. And while you were also eager to find out about Jamie, you were connors best friend too, you just wanted one second of her time.
Her response was delayed, but from her glassy blue eyes and her distracted voice that spit out, “yeah?” You could tell getting her attention would be hard.
“Do you have a jiffy to talk? Just for a moment?”.
You watch as her eyes move to you, and she sighs into the air, nodding as she moves to bite her finger nails.
“What is it love?? I asked Connor if he could send out texts to anyone that was at the calamity party. See if I can see who the person is standing by the fireplace. See love, right here is where Jamie was seen talking to somebody. But who is somebody?” She spoke, tapping the area of the fireplace with her fingers. Eyes gone again, lost in the world of Jamie.
The words were out before you could halt them, burning your tongue and scorching your lips.
“For goodness sake Pippa Fitz Amobi didn’t your mother ever teach you to listen when a person is talking to you!!” You let out, your nerves getting the best of you.
You watched as pip blinked, blue eyes turning to you and your loud but calm outburst. It took a second but once pip could see the irritation in your eyes did she realize that was serious. She sighed, letting out a breathe through her nose, her mouth clenched and her fingers tapping on the desk.
“You had something you wanted to bring to my attention did you?” she spoke, offering a hollow smile that made your insides hurt. You recognized that smile, it was the smile she would give Cara when she wanted to be somewhere else, or her mum and dad when they asked to many questions. And you suddenly felt your stomach sink as the glare was directed at you.
“Pip, I know your time right now is being devoted to finding Jamie, believe me I more than understand the importance of finding him love” you spoke, moving to cup her cheeks, brushing some hair out of her eyes, eying her deep cobalt eyes and how they eyed you with a confused stare, irritation rising.
“But when you get like this, to the point where all you’ve consumed is coffee, how many cups I will never even ask to count, when you can’t even sleep anymore, that’s when it becomes my responsibility to hold you back and ask is this really healthy for you?”.
Pip’s lips twitched, and it was only then that she sighed, her eyes moving to her phone where Ravi had just texted her, you could see her screen lighting up, ‘Hey sarge, check out this video, it fits exactly where Jamie was standing at 9:35’.
You watched as pip’s eyes glowed, could see the way her eyes lit up, a smile ghosting her lips. “Look baby, I really really appreciate your concern here, but I’m on the cusp of finding Jamie, Connor is counting on me and his mum, and I’m so close! So close! I can feel it” she spoke, conviction in her voice.
You only eyed her, “pip you need to sleep! You haven’t slept in two days! Or the weeks after that! Your sleep deprived, you’re emotionally exhausted, and I honestly don’t give a damn about Jamie when you’re looking like this!” You gestured to her, to her pale face and baggy eyes.
Pip turned her chair, fingers on the cusp of her nose, jaw tight. Irritation on her features. Just another thing that had come on after the Andie Bell case.
She sighed through her fingers. Breathing in and out before she spoke, eyes on her computer again.
“The fact that you don’t realize how important this case is to me says so much. You knew when I agreed to take on this case I was agreeing to make sacrifices! And I thought you of all people would know that!”
You can feel your own emotions come to the surface, your green eyed monster coming out.
“You haven’t even looked at me in days pip!! I sat down with you at the canteen yesterday and you didn’t even acknowledge me! I had to sit with Cara the whole lunch hour! When I brought you a tray, you didn’t eat anything. You’re not eating! You’re not sleeping! And frankly I am finding it hard to be around you and Ravi signh”.
at the mention of Ravi you watch as pip’s eyes crease, “what does Ravi have to do with any of this! Ravi is my best friend! We’ve gone over this! I thought we were over this pathetic little jealousy vendetta you harbor for him” she snidely commented.
You chucked, “I do when he starts calling you all these cute nicknames and acting like your boyfriend every time he’s near! I’m not stupid pip! I see how he eyes you, you proved his brother wasn’t guilty pip! You came in with your soft smile and completely captured his heart! And if you can’t see that or acknowledge that then I think something is majorly wrong with you”.
You watch as pip’s body remains rigid, the word wrong had seemed to shake her up even more. She turns on you, eyes cold and holding far more emotion that you have ever seen before, her words are gritted, spoken through harsh teeth.
“Something wrong with me now annit?” She speaks out, “don’t lie to me now y/n” she speaks, “I know that things have been different since the Andie bell case, believe I of all people know how difficult is had been. And I’ve tried really really hard to go back to normality. To bring myself back again, to be myself, but at this point I don’t see that happening. If you can’t understand that then-“ pip’s eyes search the floorboards, blue eyes dancing across the tiles, looking for an answer.
When she does settle on one you watch as her eyes meet yours, anger, confusion, so many emotions lay in those eyes.
Before she can even speak you sigh out, “maybe a break will help” you let out, “give us both time to reflect. My parents are going on a holiday next week to London. I think I’ll join them.”
At the mention of London and a week pip’s ears must turn on because she’s suddenly stepping closer to you, alertness filling her eyes, “ Is a break even necessary?” She sputters, “baby, I promise when this case is finished everything will go back to normal. Just please! Please hold on just for a few more days-“
You cut her off, hold her hand in yours.
“What then pip? You’ll go looking for a new case, and then where does that leave me? I love you Pipa, so much that it pains me to see you acting so recklessly, so out of character! You never use to act this way! Obsessive! To the point of absolution! I think at this point I need the time away. I need it! To reflect, to take a break from all this” you gesture to the crime board, files and files of police cases on pip’s bed.
“I’m not asking you to stop” you speak, watching your girlfriend’s eyes, how they are no longer fueled with anger. Instead they are downcast, tears forming at the base. “I’d never ask you to stop, never. Because I know how much these cases mean to you, but I will ask you to reevaluate the toll they take on you. To remember to take care of yourself. Because if you go on the way you do you will only hurt yourself”.
You watch as her phone dings again, Ravi again no doubt checking to see if pip has seen the video. But pip’s eyes remain on your frame. Watch as you take your rucksack in hand and head for the door.
“How long will you be gone? When will you be coming home?” She asks, and she almost looks like a child, begging, grasping at straws.
You suck in a breathe. Knowing that if you turn and see her eyes, you’ll crumble. Let go. But the little resolve in you whispers that it’s good to get away, good for Pipa, who doesn’t need distraction of a clingy girlfriend.
You sniff, “I don’t know actually. A week or two” you let out.
Pip’s shoulders sag, “I don’t want you gone that long. I’ll miss you so much, look I’m sorry for everything! Ravi is just my friend I didn’t mean to snap at you about him! It’s just- this case is making me extra neurotic, I’m stressed and I’m worried and I’m trying to keep a lid on it for Connor but-“ you watch her lip tremble, take in her expression.
“You can’t leave. You can’t. I need you. I need you with me so I don’t explode. Please” she’s begging at this point. Grasping your fingers with hers, latching on fast, fingers threaded through yours
“I’m not leaving forever Pippa” you gently speak. “I just think this time apart will do us good. We are both at different places right now. This will do you good, get your case done, I can be with my parents”. You squeeze her fingers in your own, bring it to your lips, open her palm the way you know she likes, pressing a soft kiss to the base of her palm, before you let go, feeling that pit in your stomach erupt with guilt.
You watch as pip remains motionless as you open her door, walking down the steps and out the front door. This is for the better you reason.
*********************************************
It’s been three weeks in London. Three weeks with no calls or texts from pip. Your phone remains motionless, with the amount of time you check it you’re sure your parents are thinking you’ve gone mad.
It’s obvious to everyone what’s wrong with you. Your homesick. That’s your ailment. Homesick for the person who you’ve loved since primary school. There is nothing you want more than for Pippa to be here, holding fast to your hand and pointing at all the display signs that adorn central London. Listing all the facts from her mouth with rapid speed.
You think back to pip and hope she’s doing well. Whatever she’s doing now. You had texted her, leaving her quick ‘miss you. Wish you were here. How’s the case?x’ but she hadn’t answered.
You were laying in your hotel bed, eating an ice cream sundae that made your stomach hurt but seemed to make this trip bearable. Your parents had been commenting that you were not yourself. “Are you sure everything is alright with pip? She hasn’t been round to Sunday dinner, I made my Sunday roast for her!” Your mother commented.
“Oh pip would just love that notebook wouldn’t she love?” Your father had said during your walk in Harrods. You had stuffed down the Pipa sized hole in your heart, and filled it with ice cream instead. Strawberry laces. Cadbury’s. Jaffa cakes that you knew Pip could eat by the dozens.
Now as you began stuffing your gob, anything to make the pain go away, because you were sure any minute now you’d grab your coat and grab a train back to little Kilton, knock on the Amobi’s door and beg on your knees to be forgiven. Just one ring from pip and you’d do it. You’d apologize for being so naive, too focused on yourself, your selfish desires, you had used pip as an excuse. Maybe you had.
“Well isn’t this a sight for sore eyes. Your mum said you were a bit blue and offered to buy me a ticket.”
You knew that voice. It was the same voice that would sing to you softly when you were battling insomnia. The voice meant home.
At the girls voice you immediately turn, catching the sight of a very tired looking Pippa Fitz Amobi. Luggage in hand, eyes even darker than the last time you’d seen them. She’s exhausted, you can tell from the drooping eyes.
You wipe your mouth, feeling like the world should swallow you whole. It’s not like pip had never ever seen you like this, but your in your fuzzy nighties and your ice cream has now made an uncomfortable plopping sound as the chocolate swirl fell of your spoon into the bowl.
Your about to get up , to dust yourself of and ask for forgiveness, to throw yourself at her and kiss her all over her stupid face, your just about mapping out where you want to kiss her first when she speaks.
“I found Jamie. He’s home now. I wanted to call. But I- I couldn’t. Stanley Forbes is dead. I-I watched him die…Charlie green shot him. And I carried him out, the building was on fire and all I could think about was seeing you. I had to see you.” Pip is saying, her eyes tearing and her chest rocking with sobs.
Immediately you rush to her, hold her close. Apologizing over and over for your stupid behavior. But pip stops you. It’s fast, sudden. She throws you against the wall, lips seeking your own. Her hands find your waist, holding you possessively against her, it makes your head dizzy and fuzzy.
She kisses you with the strength of a madman, eager, wild, lips rough and enough to make you whine when her hot tongue delves into your mouth, teeth clacking. You grip her closer, getting lost in her.
“Please…never leave me” she speaks hushed breathes, her lips finding every available patch of skin.
But once she meets your eyes, lays her forehead against yours, “I’ve come to the conclusion that what you said was right. I was getting obsessive. And I know you said it out of love. And I thank you for that. For always looking out for me. For loving me enough.”
Here right now, with pip holding your cheeks eyeing you, with stars in her eyes, you know that you both can get through anything. Anything. So you simply bring her closer, “I guess I just need to learn to draw lines in the sand. All I know is I need you. With me. Say you’ll stay with me” pip repeats, and you only giggle, leaning your face to the crook of her neck, your favorite spot. You lay soft kisses on the patch of skin, watch as Pippa sighs into it, eyes closed, like she’s finally able to breathe after so long.
“I’ll stay” you whisper.
Authors note: Hope the ending didn’t feel rushed. I am a perfectionist at heart so this one hurt to leave here. As always, any pip thoughts are welcome.❤️

You crash into me hard and soft 18+ MDI
Pippa Fitz Amobi x Fem reader
Summary: pip pulled you off, eyes dark as they scanned you. “ Behave yourself sweet girl" she chided, then quietly, "aren't you my good girl?" Then a calm saccharine voice that filled your head with cotton, you knew that voice. It was the same familiar cadence that would whisper into your ear in bed. The same voice that would often cause you to lose your mind. In the most wonderful ways. Good girls have patience, and I know your so good at having patience aren't you my love?" Pip began, her lips delving into that soft smirk that made your skin prinkle. You nodded, all lust filled eyes. Your heart racing itching to feel pip all around you. Consuming you. Leave you shaking and crying for more. She had done it before. And you wanted her to do it now. God did you want too. Pippa smiled at that, like her mind knew just what you wanted. ‘
Authors note: This is indeed some of the most smuttiest writing I have ever written and while I admit I am no expert on this matter, I don’t write it very often I had fun writing it. I especially enjoyed wirting a grumpy pip who can’t help but be jealous of Connor (undertones) 🤣 I don’t show it at the end but reader makes pip apologize to Connor for rushing out of the party. Again I am no expert on smut and do not claim to write it well. However I do hope you enjoy this piece! I had a bit of trouble writing pip but I can only get better with time. This is for all my lovely anons who asked for pip fic! 🫶🫶 for those of you who do not enjoy this type of work I have some more pip ideas for future ficts.
Warnings: Aged up Pippa Fitz Amobi, set up after AGAD. Protective pip if you squint, possessive pip, dark pip, curse words, swearing, fingering, cunnilingus, soft pippa fitz Amobi, Connor Reynolds’s being the gem he is and putting up with a grumpy pip. Calamity chaos. Reader being a lightweight. Dom pippa fitz Amobi.
Word count: LONG
Pip could feel the way her nails burned under the wood from the way she was gripping the wood hard. Her fingers clenched enough that she thought her knuckles would lose circulation. Her jaw was tense, and blue-grey eyes zeroed in on you as you spoke with Connor from across the dance floor. The flashing lights of the calamity party making pip’s eyes itch.
Pippa’s distain for calamity parties had been apparent, even years before the Andie Bell case you knew you’d never see Pippa Fitz Amobi grace the halls of the random pupil’s house. Which was why now as you peered across the dance floor to where your girlfriend sat you couldn’t help but think it such an odd welcoming sight and apparently Connor thought it too.
You had gone to get some drinks with Connor, you had to practically command pip to sit down, even through her pleading eyes, even through her instructions on how to check for certain hidden items in your drinks. Connor had been the first to grab pip by the hands, his calming soft eyes sending waves of peace through Pip. She was often anxious these days, always on alert. Her nervous system jumping at even the most mundane things. Car alarms, ball point pens and rubbish bins clacking.
Pip had been your personal bodyguard the minute you had gotten out of the Car accompanied by Cara and Connor, your eyes wide upon seeing your girlfriend at the entrance of Edmund Pain’s house. “I figured if my girlfriend was going into the lion's den I might as well accompany you. You know, personal bodyguard and all” Pippa had joked, but you could see from her wild slightly glazed eyes that she hadn’t been sleeping. You had considered calling it an early night taking your girlfriend’s hand and walking back to yours. Considered a nice warm shower, Pippa holding you close under the warming sheen of the shower, the cool heat flowing over both of you. A nice calm night in. Comfy sheets and soft hands trailing down your back as Pip would hold you. You had been so close to changing your mind when Cara had taken your hand and dragged you inside, pip close at your heels.
“It seems you have a shadow” Connor had commented, handing you your drink, eyes peering at the girl who sat across from you. Eyes like a hawk, jaw clenched. You felt a smile fill your lips, the alcohol already filling your tongue, leaving a slightly bubbly feeling and burn on the tip of your lips. You were not going to lie, your girlfriend looked hot. With her blue steel eyes that were on yours, even far enough from the room. Studying you, eying your surroundings like the good dedicated girlfriend she was. It was a comforting feeling to know that no matter where you were, your girlfriend had your back. She always did, and was keen on keeping a close eye on you. You had half a mind to race over and drag her to the nearest bathroom. A flush rose across your cheeks as you imagined pulling a confused Pip into the wasted most likely minging bathroom. Could imagine pushing her against the door and kissing down her neck, feeling her pulse point behind her skin. Could imagine her heavy breathing, hands woven through your curls, pulling just enough to make you whimper against her skin.
“Hey y/n you alright? You look like a proper mess! Sure you don’t want to switch to water now? I know Pip won’t want you too wasted” Connor’s voice brought you out of your lust filled brain. Your eyes turned to him, Connor, and his now bleary face. You were conscious enough to know when to stop, and you knew after a full cup you would surely get a headache. You could just imagine Pip giving you her ‘I told you so’ signature concerned face. It was enough for your lips to move up.
Your movements were sluggish as you tried to speak, and it was only then that your fingers slipped from the brim of the cup and it went smashing over into Connor’s jumper. You gasped, holding a hand to your mouth and apologizing, moving to wipe the remains from the poor boys shirt. Your movements sluggish but your voice strong.
Connor only held up his hands, calm as always. “It’s alright y/n!” He comforted. But maybe it was because of your drunk state that made him laugh, you were cute when you were wasted. Like a little bunny almost, innocent and shy. He could see just why Pip was so protective over you because in a way he was too. You had been a great source of comfort to him during Jamie’s case. Had stood by his side, “a great big pillar of strength” Connor had quoted on the podcast, you had blushed and buried your cheeks into Pip’s neck as she held you. Connor had chuckled at the sight. The same Pip that had told him off multiple times for speaking or simply breathing during audio interviews had been laying loosely on the chair, mic in hand you draped over her lap, fingers playing with her pendant necklace as you had recorded an episode. It was almost uncanny. Connor would tease you relentlessly about it. So it was safe to say Connor and you were as thick as thieves. You trusted him immensely and in turn, he trusted you.
Connor moved to grab your sluggish hands, his fingers calmly wrapped around your wrist, his hands moving to catch your trembling legs. His arms wrapped around you protectively, “I think you’ve had quite enough for today why don’t we go grab a nice cup of water?” Connor spoke, his voice nervous. He had never seen you as drunk as you were.
Your head was spinning. And not in the pleasant way. Your limbs were tired, your throat dry and you could feel the alcohol pushing in your veins. You felt sick. Thought you were going to be sick all over the floor. It was an embarrassing thought and you cursed yourself for not taking the nice day in cuddled with your girlfriend. Instead you had been selfish, dragging her out to some godforsaken party that she wasn’t the faintest bit interested in. But Pip had showed up, even with all her emotional baggage of why she disliked calamity parties. She still had showed up. For you.
If your knees weren’t weak already you were sure they would be now.
“Connor I need to find Pip” you spoke, body still dizzy and lightheaded. Connor understood your words, slurry but cognitive. His arms were a thankful blessing as he held your already dead weight. Maybe it was the alcohol in your system but you spoke, making Connor freeze. “Have I ever told you how strong you are Con? I bet you could lift me up and throw me over your bed couldn’t you?” You giggled, your hazy mind picturing Connor throwing you. It was actually quite funny as Connor used to be a bag of bones. Cara would tease him endlessly in primary school for his weak girl arms.
But Connor had frozen, in fear because somehow during your little adventure, your girlfriend had managed to go unnoticed and had snuck up behind you two. Connor would feel her disapproving stare right behind him. Imaginary daggers being thrown at his head like a target he imagined. It was obvious she had heard what you said. Because her back had straightened. Her jaw clenched, her normally anxious eyes had become wide and Connor couldn’t lie terrified. Pip had become slightly terrifying after her brush with the cases. Let’s be honest at her brush with death and it certainly didn't help that you were draped all over him, giggling and far too close for comfort.
Connor gulped, turning to find Pippa eying him with analyzing eyes, almost as if she was trying to find something. Anything. “Thanks for helping my girlfriend Connor” she spoke, a saccharine smile etched onto her lips. But the smile was too fake to be real, too empty. And maybe the forceful way she had to spit out her girlfriend had been telling enough that she had heard. Also the emphasis on My before girlfriend. Almost like she was staking her claim. A protective stance in the way she eyed you.
At her voice you immediately caught your girlfriend’s eye, too drunk to notice the way her eyes were downcast, hurt by the comment you had made. But it was quickly mended by the sly smile that filled your features as you caught her eyes. “Hi” you spoke, cheeks a mess. Pippa couldn’t help but chuckle, finding you too cute. Hell you were adorable.
“Isn’t my girlfriend the most hottest girl ever?” You spoke sluggishly, “I like how she bends me over and fu-“ Connor cupped his hands over your mouth, ears red, face red, “right! I think you can take your girlfriend home now Pip” he chided practically throwing you to to your girlfriend's arms.
Pippa, with her cheeks red from the comment though somewhat prideful as she pulled you into her body, arms wrapping protectively around you. Your smile wide as Pip brushed her nose against yours. “Your wasted” Pip assessed, lips close enough for you to chase, close enough for you to taste. Your eyes were dark as they eyed Pip’s dark blues. You loved moments like these. Small moments where all you could focus on was Pippa. You were drunk at a Calamity party with neon lights and music so loud it burst your eardrum yet all you could hear, and see was your Pippa. And her soft fingers which now were feeling more comfortable than Connor’s. You felt warm, at home within her arms. secure.
“I just need some water.” You spoke, hiccuping.
Pippa’s eyes were soft as the pad of her fingers came up to caress your cheek, sending goosebumps through you. Her eyes so caring and soft. “Let’s get you home love” she cooed. Connor had thankfully volunteered to find some water. Pip had sat you down next to her, arms woven through yours but in your drunk haze state you had simply climbed on top of her and dug your nose into her neck, needing that sweet relief only Pip brought. Smelling her unique scent that often lulled you to sleep.
“You're a cuddly one today ” Pippa observed practically glowing as you sat on her lap, eyes ablaze with a playful glint. You giggled, moving to hesitantly brush your nose against Pip’s feeling the cool cold contact meet your skin. Pippa’s eyes fluttered as she leaned forward, her lips meeting yours in a soft single peck. But you weren’t in the mood for that, so you snaked your hand to cup the back of her neck, playing with some baby hairs, and pulled her lips back to you.
The rush of energy that flowed through you as you kissed pip was never dull, it was overpowering and seemed to pull you deeper down into the depths of its soul. Pippa was cautious even as you began taking control of the kiss, it was all you to be certain. Pip kissed back, at she was doing that right. But there was no fire in her kisses, you could tell she was busy looking around, assessing the strangers around them to truly lose herself in you. You could also feel how rigid her posture felt. You pulled away, eying Pip’s red lips which looked chapped in the neon light of the room.
You whined, your fingers clinging to Pippa’s red jumper, toying with the metal clasps. Pippa noticed your less than cheery attitude, how your lips were turned ownward like a toddler who didn’t get its promised toy after a shop to the market. It was cute, you were rather like a child when you were a drunk. Reverting back to your three year old self. Which was why pip had seemed to grow a rapid respect for your mother.
“What’s with that face now love? Your lips are far to pretty to be in a scowl” Pip spoke, fingers cupping your jaw softly. You leaned into the touch, your weight shifting as you leaned closer, pulling yourself up into pip’s lap “I need kisses” you uttered. “Kisses? I gave you plenty just now? Why don’t you drink some water and we can talk about kisses when we get home and your not giving anyone a free show?” Pippa spoke, laying a gentle kiss on your forehead. “Where is Connor with that water?” Pip muttered, craning her head round to look.
You saw the opportunity and launched. You were far too horny and aroused to care letting your heart make the choices rather than your mind. You launched your assault on her neck, lips dancing over her skin, your eyes closed as you felt her racing pulse beneath your lips. Your lips cautious, testing the waters. It was only when you began Rolling the skin beneath and soothing the ache with your tongue that you could hear Pip suck in a breathe, possibly from the rough way your teeth glided over her skin. Pippa didn’t at all seem surprised, but you could feel skin beneath your lips, could feel the warmth radiating from her. could see she was feeling the warmth just the same. Could see the way she fought to control her seemingly calm demeanor. Her eyes fluttered as she gave in to your assault, but it never lasted long as her hands skimmed to hold you by the waist.
They were strong and seemed to command you to stop, you whine pitifully as pip pulled you off, eyes dark as they scanned you. “Behave yourself sweet girl” she chided, then quietly, “aren’t you my good girl?”. Then a calm saccharine voice that filled your head with cotton, you knew that voice. It was the same familiar cadence that would whisper into your ear in bed. The same voice that would often cause you to lose your mind. In the most wonderful ways. “Good girls have patience, and I know your so good at having patience aren’t you my love?” Pip began, her lips delving into that soft smirk that made your skin prinkle. You nodded, all lust filled eyes. Your heart racing itching to feel pip all around you. Consuming you. Leave you shaking and crying for more. She had done it before. And you wanted her to do it now.
Pippa smiled at that like her mind knew just what you wanted. “I’ll take care of you pretty girl” she crooned, “don’t you worry”. But you did. Your senses were hyper-aware, aware of the girl's shape jaw line and deep blue eyes, aware of her hands at the base of your hips, strong and confident. Aware that if you just moved an inch you could feel the way Pip’s jeans would brush against you in just the right place.
You held back a whine, too far gone to care. Too consumed by the girl in front of you.
“Pip…please take me to the bathroom” you whined. Pulling at her jeans. At her jumper. Pippa only shook her head, “you deserve more than just a bathroom fuck my love. Now I promise the minute we get home and you are properly sober you’ll be begging me to stop having my way with you. Because I promise I won’t stop till you’ve cum so hard your legs will shake. better yet, how exactly do I make you feel? Do I send chills down your spine? Make you get butterflies in your stomach? Make your heart pound inside your chest? Do I make that pretty little spot between your legs drip with anticipation? Just enough to make a wet spot on those tight little leggings of yours?”
You gulped, becoming flustered at her words. Because every answer had been yes. And she knew that, hiding behind her soft words and all-knowing smile. her voice a hot whisper against your ear.
“So what's it gonna be, princess? I need an answer” pip speaks, her smile replaced by a scowl, like she’s waiting for your answer. You nod, vigorously, almost whining when her hot fingers come up to melt over the hot skin of your stomach, pip smiles, feeling your skin underneath her palms. Watching as your eyes close as she skims her finger down your stomach, reaching your pubic bone. You sigh, open your eyes to peer into hers. Your far gone, just managing to keep your breathing calm. Pip toys with you, dipping just low enough to tease the edge of your panties which have gone soaked. If you were sober enough to care you would have felt embarrassed you were sure, but not now. Not with Pip's gentle commanding eyes, not when they were eying you like you were the important girl in the room.
Your hips jump, and you only lean into Pip, digging yourself into her neck as you try to grind. But Pip pulls away, fingers gone and now are well on to pulling you up as she takes the water from the just-appearing Connor. Thanking him before pulling you into her, water in one hand as she guides you out of the party. A new purpose as she walks, you can tell from the way she opens your door and helps you in. Her hands are soft as they put the water in your hands, even teasing you with a small kiss when she buckles you.
“You drink all that. Every bit of it. I want you sober and well hydrated.” She pinches your cheeks, closing your door before sauntering in on the drivers seat. The drive home was quiet, Pip’s hand that wasn’t on the steering wheel was placed not so discreetly across your lap, and you laughed when pip eyed you with puppy dog eyes, “Not going to hold my hand are you? That’s quite alright, I’ll hold your hand plenty when I’m watching you squirm under me”.
The words caused blush to fill your cheeks, images of pip above you, hair a sweaty mess over her shoulders, eyes a sweet blue yet not sweet. Instinctively your hand collided with hers, palms meeting Palms, pip kept her eyes on the road, Little Kilton seeming quiet and still as she held your fingers in her own, her fingers caressing your skin, the indents of your lines on your palm. It enamored you how beautiful she looked.
Pip with her large jumper, crimson red being her favorite of late. Her shoulder length almost russet hair was wild in the wind. A pen lay lodged in her pocket, a bulge-like pen with teeth marks lying across the plastic edges. Pip’s analysis pen she kept everywhere like a professional investigative journalist. Ever since the Andie Bell case pip had made sure that pen was within her reach, she was always on the lookout for things. You didn’t know what exactly, a new case maybe. All you knew was it changed her. Made her hyper-aware, quick to move, and quick to be near you at all times. Like some sort of bodyguard. You couldn’t go on a walk alone, and you couldn’t walk to the market alone, not that you minded, because pip would hold your hand during the walk and talk about her new podcast episodes. Or Pip would carry your groceries to the boot, cheeks turning red when you would point out that she was just as tiny as you, well she had a few inches on you. Enough that you would have to angle your eyes just enough to eye those blue watercolored eyes.
“What’s on your mind?? You look like your undressing me with your eyes. You imagining me in my knickers are you?” Pippa playfully retorted.
You only leaned in a bit more, till your body was flush with the cold console separating you two. Pippa was all sly smiles and playful retorts. But she wouldn’t be. You needed this. Needed her like a breathe of fresh air after a midnight swim. You were sick of waiting, sick of acting like the sweet well tempered girl. You wanted to act reckless, to truly do something so out of character.
You settle for when you and Pip are safe within your own walls. You watch Pip as she makes a beeline for the cups pulling one and filling it before giving it you. Her fingers brushing past yours as she takes off your sweater. “I’ll put these away. Why don’t you get comfortable in your nighties and I’ll meet you in our room? Make sure to drink plenty of water. How is that head of yours? Giving you any trouble?”
You answered telling her your head was just fine now. The water had done its job and the cool car ride had been enough to have the dull feeling of alcohol leave your system. Although from the way you eyed Pip with dark hungry eyes she would have thought you were still pumped with the vile toxins.
You did as told. Getting ready for bed and meeting your girlfriend in your shared bedroom. Pip smiled at you, her eyes glinting as she watched you in the bed. Your hair falling softly above your shoulders, Comforter pulled up to your chin and eyes innocent. An act purely for her sake. You were anything but innocent. “You look so cute” she spoke crawling across the mattress and moving to press her forehead against yours, arms moving around you pulling you flush into her body, heat radiating from you both.
You snuggled close, causing pip to giggle when you nuzzled her nose with your own, being sly and leaning in for a kiss. Pip relented letting you have a few kisses, but it was the way you held her head, your fingers moving to cradle the underside of her neck that had pip smiling against your eager lips.
“Now what can my sweet girl want at this hour of the night?”
You sigh as pip’s clever lips make their way across your cheeks, pressing softly and delicately, her lips mapping across your skin to leave a few hot kisses on your jaw.
“I want you pip” you whine into her skin, you don't care how selfish or pathetic it sounds because it's true.
Pip smiles at that, her grin wide and her teeth glinting in the lamplight. She eyes you with soft eyes, yet you can see the way her chest rises as she takes you in, blue half-mooned eyes taking in the way your chest rises and falls in the oversized jumper you’ve worn.
Pippa gulps, her cheeks red and her hands tightening their hold on your hips. She’s thinking. Pondering what her next move should be. Analyzing like only Pip does. You catch her eyes as they drift down to your jumper again, recognition flashes in her eyes.
“Is that my jumper?” She manages to say, you follow the way her tongue flicks across her lips hungrily and you imagine that same soft delving tongue gliding across your neck and it takes all your might and strength to not drag her down.
You nod.
Pip always loved seeing you in her clothes. The way they smelled like your sweet soft scent after you had worn it, the almost territorial feeling of knowing you were hers. Pip didn't like being possessive, in fact, she often tried to curb that feeling. It had gotten stronger with the events of Jason Bell and the aftermath of what had happened. So she always tried to maintain a healthy relationship, letting you have freedom and making sure to not be overbearing. But now as you lay beneath her, eyes dark and open for her like a gift, Pippa Fitz Amobi can't wait to unwrap you.
Pippa leans down her head against your bare chest, ear to your heart. She closes her eyes and feels you against her skin. Feels your heart against your chest, feels the intake of breaths. It’s almost too serene. It’s something she’s taken to doing whenever the voices in her head are loud, and they were now. Begging Pip to have her way with you, imagining all the filthy ways she'd take you and the screams that would come out of your pretty lips. So rich, so sweet, and all for her. Pip heaved in a breath, feeling your fingers trail the ends of her hair, softly, waiting for her to make the next move. Trusting her.
“I want to eat you out. If you’ll let me” Pip breathes out, accent slightly muffled.
The words take you by surprise, but you don’t object. Your legs are trembling as you nod, pippa smiles and leans in to press a long kiss as a thank you. Your body has been on high alert since the party, and you know it won't take much to make you see stars.
Pip takes her time working you up, kisses you everywhere on your skin. Working her way down from your neck to the incline of your shoulders, down the slope of your neck. Relishes the taste of your colllarbone. Moans when she reaches your chest. Pip immediately slides the zipper down, mouth watering when she realizes you aren’t wearing anything underneath. It almost short circuits her brain, and you reach out to move a few strands from her face, "Whose shy now Amobi?" you tease.
Pip’s fingers slide over to tease the last bit of the jumper and the article goes cascading off your shoulder.
“Oh I could spend all day and night loving these gorgeous breasts. The way they perk up at my touch.”
You want to whine and beg for pip to do something. Anything to quell the burn in your stomach but you don’t have to because soon pip is leaning down and taking a nipple in her mouth. You immediately gasp, feeling your cheeks flush and your core ache as pip’s clever tongue traces your nipple, sucking cleverly and hard. It makes your stomach jolt and pleasure come in high doses.
Pip is attentive as her fingers come up to ghost your other breast, playful as she carefully flicks the pink flesh, watching as you whine under her fingers. After a few minutes of pip's teasing you begin to get restless. "Stop teasing pip, please....please".
You cant help but find the smug look on her face attractive, especially when her mouth is as clever as her mind is.
"You and your lack of patience, always have to get what you want don't you pretty girl? Well, not tonight. I want you to work for it. your a hard worker aren't your my love? Ill make it easy for you. You see, all i want you to do is beg. Simple. Think you can do that for me love?".
Pip's words make your pussy ache in the best way, your stomach jolting and your head nodding fast. You're so far gone you don't even feel the way Pip's fingers slide against your thighs, holding softly and sliding you closer to her, and you can only think how strong your girlfriends are.
your chest is heaving as Pip trails teasing kisses against your thighs, your skin flushing against her touch. It's almost too much when she ghosts over your panties, her lips teasing up into a smile, teasing in purpose, to get a rise out of you.
"Where do you want me pretty girl? hmm? just say it, I just want to hear you say it" Pip speaks, kissing your cheek one last time and eying you with her gray eyes.
It's at that moment that you realize your too far in her clutches. Maybe it's the fact that Pip's hands are rising up to interlock with your fingers, holding tightly. Maybe it's the fact that she looks so earnest, waiting, like a good girl. It almost makes you cum right on the spot, the pleading way she asks.
you give in, begging so much you hope your flatmates can't hear you through the paper walls of your neighboring flat. It would be embarrassing and an utter nightmare after after Cara walked in one night and refused to look into you or Pip's eyes for a solid week.
"Please please please please please-" you sound despeate and you don't get very far with your begging because Pip is sliding down your knickers with soft shaky hands and is immediately sliding her tongue down into your folds. She works expertly, just as Pip always has, shes known you for years, since primary school, and spent years analyzing what made you tick, and what your body responded to. She's an expert at getting you off.
You whine and lock your fingers in her hair, pulling softly, knowing how it drives Pip wild. Pip's tongue is wild and untamed as she sucks you, taking you in like sweets from a candy shop. "Good girl. good darling" Her voice is muffled, but it urges you on, getting any type of praise from her.
She removes her mouth to replace it with her fingers instead, easily pushing in two due to the sheer amount of wetness spilling out. Warm walls push down on her fingers, urging them to sink in further as a breathless moan sounds out from bellow her. Her fingers thrust in and out a few times before curling at just the right angle to brush against your G-spot. “Shit, please, more.”
“Anything you want y/n” Pippa whispers. she places a sweet kiss on your thigh before moving up to kiss the hood of your clit, your thighs squeezing her head harder in return. Pip lets the tip of her tongue dart out to lick under the hood, brushing against your quickly reddening clit. Her fingers continue their movements as she swirls her tongue around it, coaxing it out of its hood and leaving it at the mercy of her mouth. At first, her movements are slow and gentle, not wanting to overstimulate you before it’s time. But when you reach hand down to clutch at the hair on the back of her head and push her down forcefully, she knows there’s no need to wait; her tongue sets forth at a bruising pace. She circles around the swollen clit, and nudges it with the tip of her tongue before licking it harshly until it stands to attention. your hips jerk up in response, and so Pippa maneuvers her free arm around to splay her hand across your stomach, holding you still. Still, this does nothing to stop the pressure coming from the thighs around her head, and she can barely even hear what your is saying. “Finger me harder Pippa please don’t stop.”
Pip has no choice-less to obey, and so she speeds up the movements of her fingers and presses more harshly against your g-spot, all the while licking at your clit with vigor. Her own clit throbs with need turned on from the musky taste on her tongue and the loud moans she’s pulling out from you. Even though her tongue is burning from the friction, her fingers are tiring from moving so quickly, and her head is under an almost painful amount of pressure, Pippa is in heaven. She’s the one who has you so breathless, so wantonly moaning and arching her back in response to every lick and thrust. It strokes the egoistic side of her to know that she turns you on so much that your fingernails scratch against Pippa’s scalp to push her closer; she knows you aren’t aware of this, lost as you are in your own pleasure. The only regret Pippa has in that moment is not being able to see the look of ecstasy on your face. The scrunching of your eyes, the way you bite your lip.
pippa can tell that you are close by the way your hips try to thrust upwards harder, barely being held back by Pippa's hand. The muscles of your thighs clench as your walls squeeze down on her fingers, a continuous flood of wetness pooling out of her and dripping down the base of Pippa's hand. There is nothing but the delicious taste coating Pip's tongue and the musky odor filling her senses; nothing but the broken screams of her name and the torturous pulling of hair from her scalp. It spurs her on as she abandons licking your clit for directly pulling the swollen red nub into her mouth instead, sucking on it softly and then more harshly when you let out a scream. “Don’t stop, oh bloody hell, don’t stop!”
She halts the movements of her fingers, sucks on your aching clit, and lightly grazes it with her teeth before she hears you scream her name, walls clamping down harshly on her fingers and hips thrusting erratically. As you fall apart in bliss, Pippa can't help but fall deeper in love with you, thinking back to that shy adolescent crush she had harbored for you in primary school. oh if younger Pip could see her now. She continues to lick gently as you cum, bringing you down from your high until the hand that was previously pulling her head closer begins to push her away instead.
Your breathing is erratic but that doesn't stop pip from leaning down to eye you, her eyes taking in your soft smile. "You did so good for me sweetheart positively wonderful, do you feel alright? I wasn't too rough was I?" Pippa is saying and you giggle, pulling her to your chest. You love how soft and caring she is, how sweet she looks at you. you shake your head, "Pip stop overanalysing. I'm fine, positively wonderful, although I do want one thing" Your fingers dance along the blue-eyed girl's arms, stopping just above her t-shirt. “I want you to beg for me now. Can the infamous Pippa Fitz Amobi take what she dishes out?" Before Pip has a word in you are already on top of her, kissing her with eager lips and nearly ripping off her nighties. “You thought you teased me? Well love let’s see how long you can last” you chime into her ear, your lips ghosting her earlobes, "I'll be gentle".

Playing watergirl and fireboy (im unsure If thats name of the game but i hope u know what i mean😭) with Ravi headcanons
games
playing fireboy and watergirl with ravi would solve all my problems 💖 this request was so so so cute i hope i did it justice!! wc: 976 masterlist
you and ravi’s movie night was getting slightly boring, you got to the point where you had basically watched every movie there is, and you were on a sugar high, so sleeping was out of the question.
the credits of the last movie on your watchlist started rolling. after a few moments of silence, you asked what you two should do now.
“why don’t we play a game?” you’re lying on ravi’s chest, with his hands in your hair. you feel his words in vibrations more than you actually hear them.
“what kind of game?” you turn and meet his eyes.
“hm,” he taps his finger on his chin in an exaggerated motion, then strokes his imaginary beard. “do you want to play fireboy and water girl?” he says with a smile on his face. he said the sentence so fast, sounding like a child asking if you have games on your phone.
you knew what the game was as you used to play it as a child with your siblings. you always wanted to be watergirl, but you didn’t know how to play WASD keys.
you two were now sitting cross-legged next to each other in the middle of your bed, with the computer in front of you.
“okay you know how to play, right?” he taps his fingers on his knees, his giddiness couldn't be more obvious.
“yeah, i'm the best at it.” you say
“are you sure? i mean, you’re talking to the reigning champion of fireboy and water girl right now.”
you fake scoff and look away from him, shaking your head, "nerd.”
“you’re nerd-er”
“that’s not even a word, it’s nerdier." you look back at him, trying to keep your “nonchalantness” in tact, but you can’t fight the smile that finds your face. you’re head over heels for him.
he shakes his head with a sigh, a faint grin on his lips too. "i love having a smart girlfriend."
"knowing the word nerdier isn't even... whatever." you think to yourself. it's alright though; you love having a ravi boyfriend.
you started playing the game, and maybe you weren’t being the most truthful when you said you knew how to play.
you were watergirl after 15 lengthy minutes of ravi teaching you how to use the WASD keys, and you dying in the game too many times to count.
you were so close to finishing a level after failing so many times, and ravi was being your hype man as he always is: “yes! you’re so close you can do it,” “that’s my girl!” “you’re the bees knees”
“ravi!” you laugh out, “you’re distracting me.” you continue, dragging out the "me." you were trying to act 'annoyed' at him, but you both knew you weren’t. the day he stops his corny phrases is the day you die.
“alright, sorry.” he replies with an amused chuckle, his eyes trained on your face. he found the way you were so focused on this game entertaining to say the least.
after a few seconds of silence and your character about to fall into the lava again, he speaks again. “you can do it! yes!” this time, in whispers that go against everything a whisper should be— quiet. “that’s my gi-“
you retract your hands from the keyboard and place them on your lap dramatically, then turn to him with a blank stare. he slowly turns to you, matching your ‘dramatic ness’, and looks down at you with the goofiest smile plastered across his face.
you keep your composure for a total of 2 seconds before your lips start twitching upwards and you both burst out into laughter.
every time you were about to stop laughing, you would see ravi still in tears from his own "joke." not to mention, his laugh was just so contagious.
you finally recover from your fit of laughter, only to fall into another one minutes later when playing.
“aw these characters are so cute; it’s like us in another universe.” you smile as you continue playing.
he simply turns and looks at you with an eyebrow raised. “aren’t they siblings?”
“oh.”
you both start laughing hard, and again, seeing ravi laugh just makes you laugh even harder.
you’re practically in tears at this point, and ravi is in hysterics. it’s like a never-ending cycle of laughing at each other's laughs.
you both take deep breaths and stop laughing for a few seconds, then make eye contact. you both burst into laughter again.
“stop!” you’re so out of breath, you feel like you’ve done a whole ab workout with all the laughing you just did, “we need to- we need to finish the level,” you manage to get out in between deep breaths and giggles.
“who cares about the level?” he chuckles with a light shake of his head.
“i thought you did?” you let out a chuckle through your nose, and you and ravi are looking into each other's eyes.
he shakes his head once once more, “hm,” followed by a shrug. “i like my watergirl better,” he mutters before moving towards you and kissing you.
you can’t help yourself from smiling into the kiss, and then he pulls back. “can you stop smiling so i can kiss you?” he says with his eyebrows raised, with the same large smile on your face on his. “only if you stop being cute,” you respond jokingly. he was slightly taken aback—you were never the one who would make corny jokes, and make comments that sounded straight out of a 2010 rom-com. “hey! that’s my thing,” he pouts, pretending to be hurt.
you shrug your shoulders before leaning in to kiss him again, and now he was the one smiling incessantly. you didn’t say anything though; you wanted to stay in this position forever. the computer was starting to overheat, evident from the loud noises the fan was making. but neither of you cared enough to say anything, you were too focused on the person in front of you.

Under the same Moon
Pippa Fitz Amobi X fem reader
Summary: Sleep. Fascinating topic, really. Did you know that being near someone you love can actually help you fall asleep faster? It’s all about oxytocin—the cuddle hormone. When you’re close to someone you care about, your body releases it, calming your nerves and easing you into slumber.”
Warnings: infinite fluff, Pippa Fitz Amobi being a cuddle bug, insomnia comfort. Some light angst at the beginning, and panic attack Pip and Stanley Forbes mention. Pip being the ultimate girlfriend and dancing you in her arms, humming Pippa Fitz Amobi just for your amusement and request. A few curse words. Could be used as a sleep aid? but more for some comfort and of course all the hugs to Pip. SPOILER BOOK TWO MENTIONS
words: 3.3k+
Author Note: Could possibly have turned out better but alas I have some other Pip ficts lined up in the near future.
It was always there. The sound of the bullet hitting the ground was so vivid and loud in Pip's mind, etched into the way her brain was formed. Lodged in her memory, didn't matter how much time had passed it was still there, forever looming over her like some curse she couldn't lift.
It was here now as she typed on her computer, blue-grey eyes looking downcast as she eyed the illuminated screen in the dark hollowed room of your flat, the small space illuminated only by the small yellow desk lamp that waddled every time she typed a single letter. Pip flinched upon every touch of the keyboard, the sound of the gunfire hiding in every click and every creak of the flat. Pip inwardly cursed herself, 'You're better than this be better than this'.
She admonished herself for every weak thought and every day she would smile and laugh because it felt like in some odd morbid way she was forgetting Stanley, moving on with her life when he didn't have the chance to. It made her knuckles white and blanched when she would think about him, it wasn't as often anymore, and Pip didn’t know what was worse, having him has a ghost or forgetting him and making him into one. Before she would wake up with strangled cries in her throat and would thrash around till you would turn on the bedside lamp and take her into your arms, press butterfly kisses to her warm flushed skin, and cacoon her like some baby Joey in need of its mother's pouch. At first, pip had found it to be embarrassing. She was a young woman now, capable of so many things, she had solved two cases that even Little Kilton police hadn’t been able to. And yet every night without fail you held her close with your soft eyes and even softer hair that would tickle her sides and make her lips lift up into an eager calm grin like some sort of drug from the chemist.
Pip couldn't help but smile when she thought back to you, her grey eyes crinkled inward and she found her chest was lighter, like she could finally breathe after such a long time of her head being underwater. Her eyes moved to the clock, it was witching hour it seemed, 3 am in the small flat on the outskirts of London. When anxiety would take hold of every bone in her body pip knew that it was best to retreat back to you, it was better than having a night full of night terrors and memories of Stanley plaguing her mind.
Turning off her laptop she padded her way softly into the room, eyes taking in the way you breathed, Pip was clever enough to notice that your chest didn’t move as slow, and your eyes were open and staring at the wall like you were in deep thought. “What is a pretty girl like you doing up at this ungodly hour?” She moved to sit in the bed beside you, the soft mattress dipping underneath as she slowly pulled you to her chest, seeking that comforting warmth scent that only you could provide.
You buried your cheeks into her neck, hearing Pip giggle when your warm cheeks met her cool neck. “I’ve been thinking is all. I want to sleep but my brain won’t shut off, it’s like a bloody mouth that doesn’t know when to stop yapping. I’ve been up since you left”.
Pip sucked in a breath, she had left you at a quarter to nine hoping that you had been asleep, but now she felt even more angry with herself. “You mean you haven’t slept at all? All night?”. Her voice was filled to the brim with concern, etched into her furrowed brows and the way the soft pads of her fingers brushed against your hairline, trailing over your skin with gentle ease.
You furrowed your nose, a smile lifting your lips. Whether by utter exhaustion or simply because of being in the presence of a concerned cuddle bug Pippa Fitz Amobi you didn’t know, “It’s cute when you act all concerned pippa…but I’ve been dealing with this for a long while. I just need some melatonin. I just haven’t the time to have a drop-off at the chemist. I suppose I should soon” You smiled softly at her, but Pip knew by the bags under your eyes and the fatigued glint in your colored hues that you were positively hanging on by a thread. She was too, emotionally more so.
“I can’t sleep either. It’s Stanley” she spoke. Her grey flecks eying your soft eyes seemed to fill with hurt at the man’s name. “I’m so-“Pip sighed into your neck, feeling that rush of emotions and the way her tears brimmed out of her eyes, fast and without even acknowledging her and asking if she felt like crying and the weight that came with crying. The weighted chest and unbearable stuffy nose.
“I’m so angry”. The words rushed out, muttered into your warm skin. You instinctively moved to wrap your arms around your girl, your fingers working effortlessly in her hair, massaging her neck and kissing the inner workings of her warm forehead. You knew Pip and her utter distaste for crying, for “sniveling like a school child” she would say. You knew how clever and logical she was, how she worked well with certain aspects of life. Emotions were not one of them.
“I’m so angry at myself for feeling normal. For the first time in years, I feel like myself again. I feel happy..” at this pip clung to you, “and I feel selfish because half of me yearns for that, yearns for a life with you where I don’t feel guilty, where I can leave Stanley behind in peace knowing that I did all I could”.
But did she?
Had she really truly tried enough?
Pip was brought out of her inner thoughts by warm solid hands on her cheeks, bringing her eye level with you. You looked conflicted as you eyed her; like a million thoughts were floating around your head.
Your fingers cupped her chin gently, “that was not your fault….that was not your fault”. Your words were hard and filled to the brim with utter conviction that Pip knew you were right. Some deep part in her mind hidden away recognized you were right. Whether she wanted to admit it was difficult to say.
“You did all you could pip. God that house was on fire and you still tried all you could”. You chuckled, emotion in your eyes as you peered down at your girlfriend’s eyes. They were such a dark color of blue in this light, a deep solar system blue that you would love to peer at through bed sheets and often times upside down as you would kiss her lips before departing.
But now they were filled with anguish, and it hurt you to know that. You wished you could take it all away. The hurt, the anger, the feeling of loss. Of looking over your shoulder. But you knew you couldn’t, so you settled for being her comforter.
“I don’t want you to blame yourself anymore my love”. You wiped a tear from her pale cheeks. “Say it…it wasn’t my fault”.
It took a second, more than a second. Pip struggled to say the words, her lips shook and her eyes pooled with unshed tears, and through it all, you held her closer and leaned your forehead against hers, eye to eye, heart to heart, pulse to pulse.
“You can do it pip” you urged, your voice gentle, soft as if soothing a child.
Pip drew in a long breathe, her breathing ragged as she closed her eyes and tears fell down her pale cheeks, but soon they were open and eying you with such adoration you couldn’t help but feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
“It’s not my fault. It’s not my fault…I didn’t…I didn’t kill Stanley”.
You wanted to cry too at her admission. Wanted to bring her close and cry into her neck and tell her that she was so strong, a solid person with a strong courageous heart. You wanted to cocoon her close and never let go. Never let the world bark and scratch at her like they had, had been ever since the case. You wanted to keep her all to yourself, some selfish part of you wanted to keep her close.
You settled for an encouraging smile, the tips of your fingers ghosting over her lips, “yeah…that was good love. You did so well”.
Pip immediately dove into your arms, landing on your lap and cuddling into like a koala would its mother, you chuckled, pulling her flush against you.
“I love you”.
The admission made your heart flutter and leap. You loved this girl too, sometimes so bad that it hurt, and you knew you would do anything for her. Anything. Pip could ask you to jump, simple, and you would ask with your adoring eyes ‘How high?’. It was almost panic-inducing how much your love-filled heart was stitched together by pip.
“I love you pippa fitz Amobi. More than you could ever know”.
Pip smiles that wide bashful smile, her grey eyes glinting as she moves from her spot on your chest, her demeanor shifting as her sneaky nimble fingers fly up your arm till they make contact with your chin, pulling gently but firmly that you felt like a deer in headlights as pip loomed over you, her eyes a deep and hollow blue, taking in everything from your sleep shirt to your messy tousled bed head, strands of wavy hair falling at your shoulders.
Pip could feel her heart soar in her chest as she eyed you, under her, under her fingertips. Something in her preened at knowing you were hers, it screamed the word ''MINE' over and over again as her eyes scanned you, leaving her dizzy and full of aching want. A want that made her want to pull you close and never let you go. Wanted her to hear your heartbeat against her ear during long nights and know that even if she was far away in her head you were across the room with your sweet smile and kind eyes. You were always there. And she needed that.
“God I don’t think I’ve told you how beautiful you are” Pip’s voice was soft yet hoarse from her crying, but her eyes were delicate as she smiled that same pip smile. The smile that made your stomach twirl and your heart face at just the sight.
At the same moment, Pip jumped from bed, so fast and sudden you didn’t even register her soft fingers as they pulled you up from your comfy bed, “I have a brilliant idea, come with me”. Her voice was tinged with excitement and a teasing smile that made your head fill with cotton.
Before you knew it pip was pulling you into your dark kitchen nothing but the shine of the moon looming over you two, a smile on her face as she briskly filled the kettle with water quite impatiently and placed it on the hob, all while eying you with bright teasing blue eyes.
“What are we doing?” You giggled as Pip moved closer to you, a new glint in her eye as she pulled you close, her hands firm in the way they held you, “Dancing” she stated, and you couldn’t help but laugh as Pip began to rock you back and forth, steady in her movements.
“There isn’t any music pip!” You giggled into her neck but you didn’t mind, not one bit. Not when Pip was laughing and her eyes had a shine to them as she pulled a certain move and twirled you around your small cramped kitchen flat. Pippa Fitz Amobi was dancing around your shared flat with wild abandon, brown chestnut curls wild as she pulled you close to her chest and rocked her body with yours, giggling and laughing along the way at your absolutely horrid dance moves. Although she could never have them, not when you looked so flushed and so beautiful.
She couldn’t help but watch you as your lips flew into a smile that filled her aching heart with joy. The type that she searched for when she was too far gone, lost in the memories that haunted her, you had always been her light in the tunnel of life. Pulling her out of the dark depths of her mind and making her feel like she was the only one in the world. She was more than the girl who solved cases, more than everything little Kilton and the world had coined her as.
Pip also just didn’t understand how you could look so devastating and heart wrenchingly attractive with your pajama shirt that rode up a few inches and your hair an unruly mess, but you were. A sight for sore eyes as she brought you fast into a twirl into her chest holding you close and laughing into your neck when you teased her about her moves.
It was only till the giggles had halted and you relaxed your body into her tight embrace that you began to watch the way Pip’s eyes eyed you. Gone was the playful joyful pip, her embrace was soft yet held a certain air to it as she began to eye your lips. A quick snap to your pink crimson cheeks most likely brought on by the wild dance in the kitchen and Pip was leaning down to connect your lips. Her fingers moved to take your chin in her palm, her kiss soft and gentle but slowly building up speed as she pushed you up onto the counter, careful not to get you close to the kettle. You responded in time, your own fingers pulling her in closer by her hair and you smiled vigorously when Pip gasped into your lips and her tongue began to tease your lips with that wild curiosity that made your stomach twist and the white-hot heat slide into your veins.
Kissing Pip was like a dream, the way your chest would ignite and fill your heart with that spark, that fluttering in your chest that you knew was love. You began peppering kisses against her jaw and nipping at her ear the way you knew she liked when the sudden scream of the kettle caused Pip to sigh against you and pull away.
Her cheeks were ruddy and her lips pink as she licked her lips, sighing into you with broken breaths.
“Like that dance did you?”.
You smiled and jumped of the counter, Pip being her usual gentlewoman self and offering you help, her fingers almost possessive as she lifted you of the counter and onto your feet.
“You just sit right there pretty girl"” she stated before going back to the kettle and pouring copious amount of milk into the mugs.
You wanted to listen to Pip and sit on the stool like the good girl you were, but you were also curious about what Pip was doing, she had never acted so in the moment filled with sporadic ideas till now.
“What are you doing? I was so distracted by your sudden dance performance I didn’t ask what you were doing” you spoke into her as you wrapped your arms around her figure, leaning your head over her shoulder slightly as she pulled some Cadbury chocolate mix into each before stirring.
“I’m making us some hot chocolate, isn’t that what your mum use to make when you were little? You mentioned when you couldn’t sleep your mum would make you some hot chocolate and you’d talk and talk till you fell asleep. I thought we could keep that tradition”
The warmth that filled your chest was light and you only smiled that shy smile, you had mentioned that to Pip maybe once in primary school, in the canteen filled with the anxious rambling pupils of Kilton grammar and you had been sure she hadn’t heard you, but she apparently had.
“I mentioned that to you in year 10 pip, I honestly thought you hadn’t heard or you didn’t quite remember” you spoke and Pip shook her head, mouth twisted in a bewildered expression, “of course, I remembered! You were the cutest thing sitting in front of me with your wild fast lips. Who else would I have paid attention to?” Pip asked, her lips warm as she pressed a firm kiss to your forehead and handed you your cup, “it’s hot so be careful”.
“Do we have any peppermint sticks? ”
“I still don’t get your obsession with those peppermint sticks” Pip spoke, shaking her head before producing one and stirring it in your cup, but she had to admit the sight of you with a candy stick between your wet pink lips was definitely something she had never seen before.
Once Pip had her cup and tasted some, her expression filled with utter kiddish glee she took you by your waist as you both stumbled back into bed, you chastising Pip to be careful over your sheet covers as you had just done a full washing the day before did pip laugh and smile, “I’m always observant and careful my love, I did solve two cases remember?”.
“Of course of course my mistake inspector Amobi” you chuckled into your cup.
Your flat was calm and quiet as you and pip some, laughs and giggles falling out of your mouths, “Cara did not say that. She would never!”
Pip eyed you with wild eyes, “have you even met Cara? That is exactly something she would say! She has an ungovernable tongue that girl”.
“Speaking of ungovernable tongues” you spoke, putting your mug down on the nightstand and moving into Pip’s lap, eyes taking in the way her eyes flew down to your mouth.
“That little make-out session you gave me in the kitchen was very well received” you spoke, smiling against her lips when she pulled you in for one more long kiss, stealing the air from your lungs and making your stomach flip with every brush of her fingers against your skin.
“Are you still sleepy?” She asked between kisses, and you chuckled. “I would totally fuck you on this bed right now if I could but my eyes are closing and I feel like I’m eating your lips” you mumbled.
Pip laughed, breaking the kiss before moving to lean her head against yours.
“I should probably get my tired girl to bed shouldn’t I? You have an early morning and it’s already 3:30. Sleep. Fascinating topic, really. Did you know that being near someone you love can actually help you fall asleep faster? It’s all about oxytocin—the cuddle hormone. When you’re close to someone you care about, your body releases it, calming your nerves and easing you into slumber.” pip spoke as she pulled you to her chest, all clever tongue as you both positioned yourself under the covers.
You smiled at her knowledge, moving to nestle your cheeks into her chest. Her fingers were soft as they drew calming circles of messages on your hair, the world calm and dark as you listened to her heartbeat, it was strong and seemed to lull your wild thoughts in your mind.
“Would you mind if I asked you a favor?” Your words were slurred, evidence of your tired state. Pippa chuckled and smiled even through her sleepy state, her fingers still managing to caress your cheeks and your hairline. Soft touches that eased your eyes closed. It reminded you of your mother and her soft eyes.
“What would this favor be?” Pip spoke, her anxiety had calmed down significantly and having you in her arms was like a dream, a way to lull her to sleep and calm her night terrors.
“Could you hum me to sleep?”. You were too tired to care how childish you sounded, but pip had a calming humming voice, soft and delicate that filled your head with warmth.
“For you anything”.
The soft hum of pip’s voice was all you needed. It only took a few moments before your eyes were closed fully and your chest rose and fell with even breathes. Pip followed behind, her fingers moving to lay over you and being you closer to her. Your calm and even breathes mixed with your warmth was the perfect calming remedy lulling her to sleep.

The Case of The Heart's Whisper 18+
Pairing: Pippa Fitz Amobi x Fem Reader
Summary: You didn't realize having a relationship with Andie Bell would lead you to become Pippa Fitz Amobi's main resource in Andie Bell's complex life. You also didn't expect to fall for the detective, especially since you're still hanging on the girl who broke your heart.
words:6k
Authors Note: I wrote this piece quite a while ago after reading halfway through the first book, for that matter this story includes many inconsistencies and does not follow booklore in terms of storyline or even timelines. What if reader helps pip with the case and ends up falling in love with Pip? but a bit Andie-coded because I just love her. This was just meant as a fun writer's challenge and is meant to be entertaining. Please also keep in mind this was written before I finished the first book.
Warnings: Past Andie x fem reader, angst, fluff, possessive pip if you squint. Mentions of child abuse, toxic parenting, Andie bell haunting everyone from the grave. Dark pip having the ability to bring me to my knees. This story is not suppose to make sense. That’s about it. Steamy but actual smut is not written. Not proof read. Reader is on her last year in school. Being held back a year for therapy. Cussing.
"What was your relationship with Andie Bell?". You gulped, feeling tears start to brim at just the name. Her name. Images of soft blue eyes and Andie's infamous smirk replayed in your mind like a broken record. Bringing back memories you had flushed away, locked away tight.
Under the watchful glare of Pippa Fitz Amobi, you felt your tongue dry against the roof of your mouth. Her words replaying in your mind, 'what was your relationship with Andie Bell?'
It wasn't that easy. You wish you could have gotten up from your seat in the canteen, where pip laid out her voice recorder, her strong willful blue eyes seeming to crawl over your skin, but not in a predatory manner, you couldn't help but notice the way she was staring at you. It made your stomach flip, your eyes burn, it felt all too familiar, the way her eyes were focused on you. With such intensity.
Just like her.
It had been forever since someone had eyed you like that. Five whole years to be exact.
A deep guttural sound boomed you away from your thoughts and your eyes moved to the boy who sat across from you, Ravi singh. His eyes were on you as well, except you couldn't help but feel like he was judging you. Sitting down with his arms crossed and his dark eyes looking into your soul, how were you suppose to tell him that Andie had been interested in you. That she had personally took you aside after you had stumbled upon Sal and Andie in the canteen, Andie with her usual puppy dog eyes directed at Sal. It had hurt, like a sucker punch to the gut.
All the things Andie had said to you during your studying lesson. It all had been lies. Of course you did nothing, only turned back on your heel, book bag in hand. You heard rushed footsteps next and then Andie was behind you. Her force strong and impatient, "y/n wait!! I didn't mean for you to see that". You had halted, burning red eyes and betrayal filling your veins. You turned on the girl, yanking your hand from under her touch.
"My friends were right about you Andie bell. You're nothing but a cruel mean person who will use anyone for your gain! I should have known the minute you came to talk to me that you had no intention of being my friend! Or whatever the hell you were playing at. Do yourself a favor, get another French tutor. I'm done."
Cue to the next day, when you were making your usual walk to Kilton grammar l, beanie in hand as the chilly English weather had been harsh at that day, numbing your fingers to the bone. Your father never was one for making sure you were comfortable and safe, his job stopped the day you were born. Despite your rough upbringing you were usually rather optimistic, everyone always said you were a female version of Sal signh. Not exactly what you wanted to hear, but maybe that was why Andie gravitated torward you. You shook your head, Andie Bell was out of your life. And like life, you watched as a silver SUV parked along side you, Andie bell in the front seat, brows furrowed.
"Get in the car you'll freeze to death" she spoke. You only continued walking, defiant. "I prefer the cold air, it makes my immune system stronger".
You didn't expect Andie to park the car, getting out with a grumble and practically tackling you. If you closed your eyes just enough you could still feel Andie's soft fingers ghosting over your cheeks bones, hot breathe against your ear. "I apologize for what I did. It's just...Sal is my best friend. And perhaps I should have broke it off with him, but it's hard. And then you came into the canteen and I panicked, I'm not use to panicking. I-" Andie's blue eyes had remained still, blush on her cheeks. "I like you y/n. Like a lot. It wasn't suppose to happen at first I really did need help with my French, but then I started noticing things about you. Like how you're always so sweet to others, how you mumble when you're nervous. Or how no matter how much your dad makes you unhappy, you always seem to be shining. Why is that? Is there some sort of secret?".
You remember feeling like you were in the twilight zone. Andie bell was a popular girl, a popular girl with a cruel heart, one who enjoyed hurting others. And yet here she was, helping you up and dusting your trousers. Her eyes warm and soft. Why she liked you, you didn't know. But you wanted to know why.
Needless to say how were you suppose to sit and say that Andie bell had liked you, not to Ravi Singh , that would just make him hate you more. And perhaps you felt guilty. Because his brother had died for Andie bell. And she had been playing games with you.
A soft brush of fingers against your hand made you turn back to the girl, in an act of utter coincidence or an act of kindness, you weren't sure which she spoke, this time to Ravi.
"Ravi would you mind leaving us two girls together? I believe y/n would feel more comfortable giving me her account without others listening in".
At this you watched as Ravi immediately stood up, eying you with strange eyes, before walking out of the canteen, the door's hinges making an utter awful squeaking noise that reminded you of the deer your father use to shoot.
"Andie wasn't like the others". You didn't recognize your voice as you spoke. It was brittle, far away sounding, pain infused. You watched as Pippa remained speechless, eying you with her soft grey eyes.
"The others?" Her brows furrowed, "other students you mean?".
You nodded, a tear flying past your cheeks and onto your bottom lip, tasting the familiar salt on your tongue. You watched as pip followed the motion, eyes drifting down your lips.
"At first when she came round to me, I thought it was some cruel joke she was trying to play. I had heard about what she'd done to Nat De Silva. People talked. But....when she came round to my desk after French class and asked if I could tutor her I was lost for words". Pippa watched as a smirk filled your lips.
"Andie bell was kind to me. I don't know why....perhaps she saw something in me others didn't bother to see. And-and perhaps if we had gotten to be around each other more we could have been something. But she's gone now. And no one can bring her back".
"I will"
The words made your eyes find pip's. And you watched as the girl without thought reached over the table, taking your trembling fingers into her own, holding them against her own flushed fingers. Almost like she knew.
"I can't promise you Andie....I cannot simply wave my fingers and make her appear. Although I wish I could....but I can offer you peace. Justice. I can offer you a finalized solid answer to what truly happened to her. I've heard what others said about you and her. You were special to her too y/n".
At that all composure left you. Your body began to tremble and you let the soft sobs rock your body, the all to consuming feeling of grief taking over.
In an instance pip was beside you, bringing you to her chest and holding tightly. So tight you could feel the girls heartbeat, which was rapid and going a mile a minute. Battering against her rib cage.
You clung to her, after all these fives years you had wanted someone to hold you like this, to brush the tears away and say that it gets better. That time can heal wounds, but of course stuck with your father who had no notion of feelings or emotions that was not what you had learned to expect. Instead you tucked it away.
But pippa was kind. She had a sense of ease that seemed to calm your racing heart. And lull you into a sense of comfort. And perhaps, if you were being honest, she had that same energy to her. It was like having a piece of Andie with you, however small it was. Because as much as Pippa reminded you of Andie, she was almost completely 100% different. Where Andie was rough around the edges, pipa was solid, keen on the way she thought, logical. Where Andie was sporadic and lacking sympathy, pip made up for it with her soft eyes and just heart.
In the weeks that followed you found your eyes finding Pip's when you would greet her in the hall of Kilton grammar, her eyes seeming to find yours in a crowd. She was always the first to greet you, smile that pipa smile. What you were not aware of was the fact that pip had been ogling you during lunch apparently.
"What's up with Pippa Fitz Amobi always staring at you?" You blanched. Eyes wide as you eyed your best friend Seth from across the lunch table, your fresh salad you had nicked from the canteen bar forgotten.
"What do you mean? I helped her out with her end of term project a few weeks ago. She's probably just grateful or something. Not many people gave her grace over the topic" you growled out.
Seth, who was not very bright in social cues only began talking yet again. "No I mean, she's always staring at you now. She was in geography and just now when you sat down. I think she fancies you".
You had to chuckle at that, your laughter filling the lunchroom, your cheeks flushed and eyes wide, you immediately shoved Seth, "that is the most stupid comment I have ever heard!! Pippa fitz Amobi having a crush on me! Me Seth! I'm nobody. Seriously what a notion. She's probably got a few more questions to ask me."
"Well I better prepare because she's coming this way".
Your smile vanished, your eyes wide. "What!"
And like clockwork pipa was in front of your table, blue eyes scanning you. "Sorry to interrupt your lunch hour y/n, but would you mind if I asked you to have dinner with my family and I after school? I know it's sudden. I was going to ask Ravi, but I figured I hadn't properly thanked you for answering my questions"
Seth smiled from the brim of his thermos, making your nerves ramp up even more, but you stayed calm, moving your eyes to Pippa's. A small smile formed on your lips as you took in her face, all furrowed lines and nervous fingers behind her back. You half expected her to serenade you with random facts, a sign she was nervous.
"I really would love to pip" you began, and you watched as Pippa's smile began to grow, her blue eyes alight with something you couldn't understand yet.
"That's wonderful!! My mum is making shepards pie, are you alright with that? I wouldn't want to make something that doesn't sit well with your stomach". Pippa’s nervous rambling was cute to an extent, and you only chuckled.
"I haven't had a decent shepards pie in quite while, my father isn't a real good cook." You explained, and pipa nodded, before reaching out and taking your hand in hers, your reflex was to pull your hand away, but Pippa's touch was firm, almost gentle as she softly moved your sweater from your Palms, "it's alright, I'll be gentle, no need for a scare" she spoke, directly to you, blue eyes soft as she produced a pen from her Kilton uniform, writing her home address on the back of your palm, the nib of the pen feeling cold against your warm skin.
Seth only remained the smiling idiot he was, wagging his furrowed brows as if to say, 'is that evidence enough?' You only sent him daggers.
Turning back to pip who was on the last letter of her street name, you eyed the canteen, finding little to no teens were sat paid attention to you two. You made a small noise with your throat, watching as pip's eyes flew to yours, a sea of light blue, whispering softly you spoke.
"How's your EPQ going? Have you made any progress? About Andie?" Maybe it was the way her name fell of your lips, or how desperate for answers you were. Pippa's eyes widened, and she spoke fast, "I can't speak of it here. That's partly why I invited you round to my house. I have some more questions. But these need to be answered privately."
Privately?
Pippa must have sensed your apprehension, because she was soon smiling, "nothing to be scared about y/n. If anything your answers have changed my mind about Andie. To an extent. And it will just be us tonight, Ravi is working. I noticed how you clammed up with him last time".
"I didn't clam up, it's just odd having Sal singh's brother eying me like I have some secret I'm hiding from him." You shot back, your confidence seeming to find its way out. You couldn't help but feel that raw feeling weld up in your chest, your teeth gritted out. You felt a flush take over your face as you apologized, your words escaping you. Gosh, here pip was going out of her way to invite you to a dinner, a family dinner that is, where you were probably intruding on, and you had snapped at her.
Pippa only eyed you, eyes flashing over your flared nostrils and wide set eyes, you watched as her eyes remained transfixed to your features, her blue grey eyes darkening just enough as she eyed your flushed cheeks. You would have found that odd, if it were not for your rambling, rapid apologies falling of your lips. Pip only halted your words, leaning in so close you could smell her perfume, strawberry and raspberry. Your heart raced out of its chest at the way Pip moved to lean over you, her eyes taking in your eyes and your flushed racing chest, the smile that reached her lips was so saccharine that it made your stomach erupt in butterflies. Pip spoke softly against your ear, like it was some sort of secret to be hid from others. Her words were soft, velvety against her tongue, "I like when you use your voice" she spoke, "it's cute. You look almost like a little puppy, puffing out its chest and barring its teeth. Such a sweet little creature"
From the way Pip smiled victoriously over the way your eyes followed her, almost trance like, you could practically feel Seth's eyes burning holes into you, probably resisting the urge to yell "she's obviously flirting with you!". Once your brain was cognizant enough to realize that pip had said you reminded her of a dog, a puppy at that. A puppy, the lowest of the forms of dogs. Why didn't she just say you were akin to a baby playing in the sand box? It would have irked you, if we're not for the way that pip stayed eyeing you, a shine in her grey eyes, almost like she was getting some sort of high from teasing you. It made your cheeks flush and your eyes move down to her lips, which were plastered in that smile, the one that twisted your insides in the best way.
You felt your confidence come back to you in tiny spurts, your eyebrows raising, tongue coming to peek out over eager lips, "Who knows Amobi?" You spoke, twisting your lips into a even sweeter smile, your voice taking on a different tone, "I may be a wolf in sheep's clothing, easy on the eyes, soft, sweet, so sweet that you would be blinded by what I could do".
At that you watched as pip's eyes glazed over, her usual pale complexion pink in color. "Is that so?" She began. "Well I'll just have to see about that. Half past six tonight, don't be late" she spoke, winking at you and walking off. As she walked off, You felt a sudden pang in your chest at your realization. You liked Pippa Fitz Amobi. You had ever since she had held you that day a few weeks ago. But you never acknowledged it, it felt to odd. Too shameful. You hadn't had a crush on anyone since Andie, you had stuck to your small group of friends and avoided going out, mostly you stayed in your room, far away from prying eyes and your father, who was too into himself to notice your tear stained cheeks on days you would allow your mind to drift back to Andie.
It almost felt like you betraying her, being here flirting with pip, almost like you had forgotten her for a split moment. Like your pain and anguish had been wiped clean and put back together by the girl in front of you.
Pippa watched you as she sat back with Cara, the way your eyes were downcast, and she felt a pang in her heart, you were still grieving, that part was evident. But if she could just get to know you, the real you she was sure she would be able to help ease the burden. After all Andie and you had been close, close enough that even witnesses and Andie's own friends had stated that Andie had been drawn to you. Like a moth to a flame.
At first pip had found that odd, a girl of Andie's caliber being drawn to you, but as she observed you throughout the weeks she found out two things. first, you we're different than all the other students that roamed these halls of Kilton grammar. You were kind to a fault, the sort of kind that made people smile, and their days brighter. You were a ray of sunshine on a cold dreary day. No wonder Andie had been drawn to you, after all she had been through with her dad, her family life, you had been a breathe of fresh air. A oasis away from the troubles of life. But you were also a mystery, one she couldn't wait to sink her teeth into, to know every little secret you ever had.
"Shall I send off the wedding invitations?" Cara spoke, making pip roll her eyes but steal some of the girls custard, which remained untouched on the girls plate.
"It seems Pip's EPQ is not the only thing she wants to study" seth spoke, and you only rubbed your cheeks in your hands, "oh god! She probably thinks I'm a nutter Seth” you gritted out.
Seth laughed, "after that performance?? Are you kidding me!! If I was a girl I would have fallen for you! I mean, you basically challenged her back. Pip seems like she needs that."
**********
Kilton weather was often dreary, which was why you were partly glad that you had managed to bring your jumper, the air was cold and seemed to nip at your bones. You had snuck away while your father had gone down for bed, his tell tale signs of liquor cans littering the floor and the loud snores indicating he was out for the night.
Not that he minded if you went out, he usually didn't have any notions of where you were, it was a miracle you weren't one of those teenagers who abused that power. You knew many teens who would go wild with the freedom your father gave you. But with freedom came many things, the mood swings, the often vile words that would fall of your fathers lips when he drank too much. You knew he loved you, it was apparent he did, but he never had the courage to say it, never once. You chalked it up the fact that he had never had that himself, your grandparents were the typical Victorian English parents, their idea of affection was a Pat on the back and a job well done.
Drastically different than your mother. Even after years of her being gone you still felt the ache that her face brought. Etched into your memory like a painting that would never waver. Or fade. You hoped. Your mother had been your world, she had been there to pick you up and dust you of, but like everything in life she had withered and vanished. It was a car accident that took her. The icy roads of Kilton still haunted you. So you were on your own. Till Andie of course. Then you felt less alone, less inclined to be alone. Andie wasn't all smiles, she was a girl trapped in a toxic house, where her father would eye her looks, make her feel little than she was. You had understood that to a sense, and would sit and listen as she would talk endlessly about her father.
The Amobi's household was quiet, the house sitting on the edge of town, with a quiet garden in the front that you knew Pippa’s mother had loved to garden in. It didn't surprise you that right as you made it to the door, it opened. Pippa standing in the threshold, a dinner dress on and hair pinned slightly to the side, enough that you couldn't help but notice how beautiful she looked.
Vastly different from her regular Kilton uniform, although the high knee socks did wonders for her appearance.
You couldn't help but notice how formal she looked, meanwhile you were less than formal.
A blush overcame your features, eying your now less than formal dinner attire. "I didn't realize it was fancy dress" you stated, "that dress looks beautiful on you pip. Even I couldn't make it as radiant as you".
Pippa had smiled, her cheeks crimson. "Oh this? I figured you would like to see me in something more than my Kilton uniform. Please, come in. You'll catch your death out here.".
Immediately you were bombared with checkered paws and a snout that began to lick at your face, all rough tongue and eager sniffs. you giggled, moving to draw your hand through the dogs soft fur. "This must be Barney. I've been told we share a couple attributes" you laughed, and the dog only began to bark at you playfully. The moment was ruined quick enough when pip gently moved Barney, "she's not here to see you Barney".
Pip's mother, Mrs Amobi had been almost overjoyed to see you. She had reached out and had hugged you so hard your bones had nearly popped off. She had knew your mother for years and had even stated you looked just like her. It was a comfort to know.
Mr Amobi had been just as nice, smiling and telling you how lovely you looked, you were thankful that a father had noticed. Josh was next, he had quickly said hello to you and asked if you were Pippa's new friend, to which you had eyed pipa and playfully remarked that was up to her.
Dinner was pleasant. You couldn't remember sitting down to a dinner like this, where the food was made with love and care, where jokes were passed around and by the end you were filled with laughter and a full stomach. You tried not to notice pippa's eyes which were on you for almost half the dinner. It would have seem of putting to anyone else, but you noticed the way Pip's eyes would watch you as your brought trifle to your mouth, grey eyes zeroed in on the ice cream that stuck to your lips. Or the way she would make a joke, eyes seeming to smile wide when you would laugh just a little harder. While you had gotten up to help Mrs Amobi with the dishes, feeling like a horrid house guest when she had just smiled and told you to sit your pretty self down. You had been hesitant to, but it was only then that pip crossed the room, moving to whisper something in your ear. Goosebumps arose on your forearms and you only watched as she took your hand in her own, fingers slotting against your own.
"Before you leave I was wondering if you wanted to take a look at my EPQ? It's just- I found some things you might be interested in".
You had agreed, feeling your stomach coil pleasanty as pip's fingers wrapped around your own, her grip soft yet firm, fingers caressing your skin. It made your head dizzy with want, the type that would fill your head and cause you to do stupid, stupid things. Luckily as soon as you passed into the threshold of Pips door your eyes caught sight of the board adorning the girls room. And as quickly as the soft syrupy feeling in your stomach had come it was gone. Vanished just of the sight of the crime board,
you were met with the board, Pippa's writing strewn about and evidence upon evidence filling the space. It shouldn't have made you so emotional, but you couldn't help but bring your hands to your lips. After five years pipa had managed to collect more than enough evidence, something the Kilton police hadn't the courage to do.
"You-you did all this?" You spoke, eyes turning to pipa in amazement.
She humbly nodded, "well Ravi helped me. But I did most of the work. I just felt as if I should show you" pip spoke, moving closer to you, enough that her pinky bumped over yours, the soft feeling of skin against your own making your cheeks flushed.
You eyed the board, taking in the utter dedication that had gone into it, but it was what was written on the board that made your heart stop. Not from surprise, or even grief. But anger. Anger that had grown in your chest for years now.
'Andie's secret older guy?' Written in Pipa's messy yet beautiful handwriting stared back at you. You could feel the way your heart had stilled, the world was quiet. Nothing but the board and pipa by your side.
You knew Andie well enough to know that you were just a pawn in her game. Even if she had told you she was fond of you, made you feel special, made you feel like you were important, said she saw you differently than others, she still had used you. You were never as important as she said you were. Because it was evident from the board that she hadn't been as enthralled with you as it seemed. She had been secretly out with some older man.
You chucked sardonically, eyes moving to pip's ceiling. "Andie always did love her secrets didn't she?" You whispered. "I know it's silly, but Andie was all I had left after my mum died. She made me feel like I was the most important girl, she would coo at me and tell me that she thought I was beautiful. And then she'd tell me to tell her she was the most beautiful girl in the world. And I would, without hesitation. But now I'm seeing parts of her I didn't recognize, or perhaps pieces that were always there but thanks to my naivety I just brushed off. I'm- I'm angry. Obviously, that she lied to me, it hurts. The type of hurt that makes your eyes burn and your body numb. But I also know that she's still out there, and even if she hurt me I'm not giving up". The conviction in your voice was enough to cause pip's heart to stop, hoping that someday you'd talk about her like that. With stars in your eyes.
"I'm glad to hear you say that. Because I know this is awfully sudden, but- would you like to be my partner on this case?" Pip spoke, tilting her head and eying you with such soft eyes.
It was different from the flirty Pip from the canteen. Here was just pip, with her soft kind eyes, peering at you with-understanding.
" isn't Ravi your partner? I would hate to intrude-"
"I want you with me" pip has stuttered, eyes wide when she had spoken, but then her eyes calmed and she spoke again, "I want you to help me with this case. You knew Andie better than anyone. And you could be important. Theirs no reason why this case can’t have three investigators”.
You let your eyes fall down to pip's wooden floor. For five years you've wanted the chance to find out what happened to Andie, not just for yourself but her parents, and Becca. The whole Bell family, because even if they had hurt Andie, she had also hurt them in turn. When you meant family, you had no notion of adding Jason bell to the mix.
"Alright" you spoke, lips upturning into a smile.
"I'll help you". The smile on Pip's lips was reward enough.
******
The first thing you learned about Pip was that she was different from the other girls you'd met. And you had met many, being a tutor at Kilton grammar many had come to you. And they were all the same. The same way of speaking, even the same monotone spirit in their eyes.
But Pip was different. She was clever, well educated. Her brain worked faster than others. Perhaps a touch obsessive, but you would admit that you were also on the edge between obsessive.
"Andie had a burner phone" you spoke, watching as Pip's eyes burned with excitement, Ravi sitting on her chair in her room. It had been a particularly hard day, one that lead with no leads. Till you had spoken, hoping this fact would help. You had remembered seeing Andie silence the phone when you had been studying together, saying something about a Howie Bowers.
Pip's smile was wide and she immediately rushed to you, pulling you into a hug and kissing your cheek, "y/n you clever thing! We need to find that burner phone. Where could it be?" She thought, back to her usual pacing the floor.
Ravi remained standing a few feet from you, eyes refusing to meet your eyes. Ever since pip had introduced you to the team, Ravi had been distant. You knew he liked pip. Could see it in his dark brooding eyes. To him she must have been a goddess, a girl who thought his brother wasn't guilty, who was going to prove it. Might as well propose.
But lately you had seen their dynamic change. Instead of pip always looking to Ravi, her eyes were on you. You were the one she went to, when her dog had disappeared, when she had cried and cried enough tears you had been the one to wipe them away, to calm her down.
And Ravi knew that. And he hated you for it. And you couldn't help but feel like you didn't quite belong.
You brought that up to Pip during one of your sleepovers, the ones that had become usual now. Usual enough that pip even had designated a drawer that belonged to you. Ravi would complain that it wasn't fair that you got to spend the night, but pip would just smile that smile and say something to make him smile. It usually left you with a bad taste in your mouth.
"Ravi isn't fond of me is he?" You had stated. Pip had looked up from her log entries, halting the recorder that was spewing out a very angry Nat De Silva interview.
Pip's eyes had widened, her lips upturned into a questionable smile. Brows filled with concern more like.
"Where on earth did that come from?".
You had rolled your eyes, moving to lay dramatically on her bed, "you act as if you don't see the way he looks at me. Don't get me wrong he's always been cordial. But-I've seen the way he looks at me. Like he hates me. And everything always had to be a competition for him. Like let's see who can win pip first."
At that Pip's smile was evident as she watched you ramble. Taking in your pink lips, your pale complexion, the way your sleep shirt was riding up enough to reveal your braw straps. Something akin to hunger laid in her eyes.
"And I'm not that type of person" you began, rubbing your tired cheeks, eyes taking in the ceiling.
"I don't like when people have to choose sides. Ravi's making this into some stupid competition, like if your friends with me then you can't be friends with him. and that is not who I am! It's stupid and childish! and honestly I am beginning to think I should drop out, let Ravi and you finish the case. Because I am not-"
"I choose you".
The words had halted on your tongue. Lips dry, you immediately sat up, hair a mess of curls and you eyed Pip, who sat up next to you, laptop long forgotten as she eyed you.
Waiting for your response. Her grey eyes holding so much apprehension in them.
You only eyed her with confused eyes, "I don't want you to have to choose-"
"I don't care. I still choose you over him."
Pip was close now, her form leaning over yours, enough that your heart had begun to race. "I can't help it" pip began, her face now so close to your neck, pip smiled when she caught sight of the way your cheeks flushed.
And without even a warning pip was closing the distance, capturing your lips in a kiss. You only allowed your eyes to close, enjoying the way pip was laid on top of you, the weight of her body making you warm and fuzzy.
Pip kissed like her life depended on it, every brush of her lips was deliberate, very stroke of her finger against your cheeks was soft. It left your head spinning and your lips chapped.
"You taste so good" she spoke, in between kisses, her breathe ragged and eyes wild.
Her hands laid possessively over your waist, fingers gripping your skin softly yet firmly. You don't think you've ever been this turned on before, save for your few moments with Andie.
But pip, with her lips that were unforgiving and her hands that were ticking your sides. You had never thought pip Amobi, the girl who use to ask for extra homework would be this experienced.
Pip's lips moved to your chin, your jaw, your neck. And all you could do was whine in protest.
Again you couldn't help but compare Pipa to Andie, no matter how much you tried not no, to convince yourself that they were different people, you couldn't help it. When Andie had been with you, and she had that look in her eye, that familiar glean, the way her fingers would caress your hands, then up your arm. Andie had always been a hurry. She would pull you against her in the girls toilet, shushing you and then kissing you senseless, to her it was some stupid power move. She would have you say how much you were obsessed with her, and then she would leave you even more turned on, moving to wipe lipstick of her lips in the schools dodgy mirror. She never went far enough with you, and you always wondered why.
She had always been eager, that was fact, but she had never done what pip was doing. Eying you with dark blue eyes, Mapping out every detail of your features, "it's not fair for you to look so utterly ravishing" she had uttered, looking somewhat conflicted as she eyed your lips.
Her delicate fingers moved to hover over your face, swiping delicately a piece of hair that had gotten in the way. The way pip had done it, so softly, had made your arousal burn even more.
Pip sighed, fingers moving to dip bellow your chin, gripping softly, yet enough that your breathe hitched as she lazily caressed the skin bellow your chin.
"What am I going to do with you sweet girl?" she purred, eyes dark. "I could take you here right now on my bed like I've imagined so many times, or I could take you on the floor, though I doubt it would be sanitary. Though I would fancy fucking you on my door. You'd look so cute trying to stay quiet" she drawled out, laughing when your cheeks reddened, she clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, feigning thinking.
Her smile had been confirmation enough that she had come to a conclusion. Her smile somehow looking like a toss between Pervy and downright Sinful.
"How about we start by removing this lovely top? Hmm?" She cooed, lips leaning in to kiss your lips firmly, leaving you breathless and your brain foggy. You only nodded into the kiss, and Pip very cleverly dodged your lips, wiping away the tiny bit of salvia that followed.
It shouldn't have been hot, you knew that. You knew if you were not being controlled by your horny mind you would have been sick, but from the way Pip had begun unbuttoning your night shirt, each button coming undone sending shivers through you. pip remained stoic, but you could see the control in her eyes shifting as the last button was taken of.
"I trust you pip...you can take it off" you whispered, your voice quiet and calm, yet you felt your body buzzing with anticipation.
It was then that your eyes opened, taking in the dark room, chest heaving as you eyes the girl next to you, watching as her chest rose and fell beside you sound asleep. Had all of that been a dream? Your cheeks flushed, the pit in her stomach opening up as you realized.
You were in love with Pippa fitz Amobi, and you couldn’t deny it any longer. You had to confess, for your sanity.

Your shadow is in whitfoshire Pt 1
AGAD Pippa Fitz Amobi x fem reader
Summary: Cambridge University, England. Pippa Fitz Amobi, still haunted by the events of her past investigations, stumbles upon a new enigma. The campus buzzes with rumors about the girl with dark circles beneath her eyes and a smile that conceals secrets. Pippa senses the weight behind that forced smile, the pain hidden within. The whispers echo through the halls: "Y/N? Oh, everyone knows her. Her family was at the center of that infamous case three years ago. Her older sister Amelia vanished without a trace, think she was abducted, and Y/N was the last person to see her alive. Quite Tragic annit?. The whole family unraveled-her barrister father lost everything to gambling, everything. her mother became quiet, doesn’t speak much. Yet Y/N remains the sole beacon of normalcy”
Warnings: LONG, A bit wordier than my other ficts so beware, Pippa Fitz Amobi being a curious cat at your arrival. AGAD PIP, MENTIONS OF BOOK TWO AND THREE IN DETAIL, Heavy mystery incorporated, pessimistic Pippa. Dark eerie thoughts. First try at anything in the mystery/thriller realm so take this with a grain of salt. To be edited at a later date. Part 1 of 4. Some light groundwork to set the scene and give a nice taste.
words: 6.453k
It was hard not to notice you, with your hands pinned behind your back and your eyes trailing the chancellor as he spoke softly to you. The pupils in the common room had all halted, breathes leaving their lungs as soon as you came into view, it was odd and distracting enough that Pip had to lift her head from her computer. Her glacial eyes took note of how the chancellor spoke to you all with soft eyes and a calm demeanor, almost like he was afraid of saying the wrong words.
Lord Sainsbury was not a very feeling man, nor was he a robot, but this odd cross of playing jacket potato and treating you with kid gloves piqued Pip’s interest. The chattering of the other students made it hard for Pip to read you, that and the fact that you were feet away, face set in such a warm smile that Pip was sure it was a ruse. For one thing the way you held yourself was evidence enough that you were aware of the eyes peering at you from the common room. Aware of the comments and hushed opinions.
Your hair was up in a decent ponytail, slicked back with ease, a smart pants suit adorning your body, only the best for Cambridge. Pip couldn’t help but let her eyes take in the way you chuckled at Lord Sainsbury, nodding with a kind sharp smile, your mouth moving in a whisper. From the way lord Sainsbury chuckled widely, a deep belly laugh Pip knew you were quite humorous, getting Lord Sainsbury to laugh or even crack a simple smile was the pupil’s life work, and somehow you had managed to do the impossible in a matter of minutes.
There was just something about you Pip could not quite put her finger on, though your face was eerily familiar, the lines and sharp cheekbones prominent. Pip hadn’t a clue why you looked so familiar. Had she seen you somewhere? Passed you on the pavement? That is till her sharp ears caught the tail end of Stella Chapman’s gossiping from the far end of the table. Pippa could sense the weight of your forced smile. could feel it in her bones. Usually, Pip wasn’t one to care for idle gossip, not if there was no concrete reason for it. She was already branded as Cambridge’s own “private detective” since the second popular season of her podcast, and try as Pip may she couldn’t outrun little Kilton, or the looming shadow of Jason Bell. She had momentarily quit her podcast, looking for some other options to pursue, options that wouldn’t make her mother gray with worry.
That wouldn’t turn her into a separate person, as she allowed the past cases too. That wouldn’t make her mind think back to the blood on her hands and the feel of the metallic hammer in her palm. The feel of duct tape sticking to her cheek. The heat of the roar of the fire as the smoke entered her lungs.
But it was the way you stood, face innocent and kind, yet something dark and sinister in your clouded eyes that made something in Pip preen. That too familiar dopamine effect, the same rush of victory and stomach-churning high she would get when her inner curiosity got the better of her. The same feeling she had felt the day she had connected the dots of who had murdered Andie Bell. The same rush, the after effect leaving her high and wanting nothing more than to sink her teeth into another case and maybe the fact that you were so achingly attractive had something to do with the way her ears perked up too. But she would never admit it aloud.
“y/n? Everyone knows her. Her family was at the center of that whitfoshire case two years ago, my father worked as a lead barrister for it. Never thought she’d be coming round here. Her older sister Amelia vanished without a trace, the police and my father believe she was abducted and I suppose what’s worse is that y/n was the last person to see her alive. Quite tragic really. The whole family unraveled- her father, the barrister for Whitfoshire solicitors lost almost all the family's fortune to gambling and had to open their estate for viewings from what my mums said. Not to mention the family’s reputation was slandered by the media. A sad lot they make. Yet y/n remains the sole beacon of normalcy it seems. Wonder how she managed to pay tuition”. The way the last sentence fell off Stella Chapman's lips made Pip’s fingers curl around her keyboard. One lesson Pip had learned from her investigating, people can be cruel. Can say the most vile things without a care in the world, can do the most vile things without repercussions.
That’s what her time had taught her. Elliot ward, Max hastings, Howie bowers, Becca bell, Charlie green, Jason bell. They all seemed to loom in her mind, like ghosts she couldn’t quite get rid of. Taunting her.
“she’s probably a trust fund baby, did you see her clothes? It’s a wonder she can afford that, from what my mum says her dad has been shagging his secretary-“the lid of the silver laptop pip’s fingers had been clutching had slammed, the echo vibrating the whole table, causing the many cups of tea to ricochet. Stella Chapman’s eyes immediately widened at Pip’s outburst. Her lips twisted into an uncomfortable grimace, “Oh Pippa! I didn’t know you were sitting with us. I don’t wish to offend” she began, sugar-covered words trying to snake out of her pink-frosted lips.
Pip’s throat gulped; her eyes somehow darker than usual. “Perhaps instead of providing idle gossip and analyzing a person’s life we could have some respect and be more sensitive to the topic. Not everyone is as unscathed as they seem” Pippa managed to get out, her accent smooth as she packed up her things, eying the group who all seemed to shut their mouths like school children being reprimanded by their mother. All sunken eyes and red cheeks.
“of course!! We didn’t mean to seem-“ Pippa with a quiet ease slung her knapsack over her shoulder, her signature saccharine smile on her lips, “Of course not Stella, you would never spread such idle gossip on a new pupil”. It was said with such sweet spite that as Pip turned on her heels she could almost feel the anger pulsing of the girl. It was a welcome feeling.
Pippa had found she had less patience these days, often feeling like a bomb ticking ever so slightly, eager to explode in the most mundane situations, and Stella Chapman had picked the wrong day because if anyone knew the reality of missing persons it was Pippa Fitz Amobi.
They had no clue the amount of emotional trauma she carried around like a knapsack too big for her back, of all the secrets she would greatly take to the grave, of all the words she had been called throughout the years following her involvement in the cases. It was akin to a slap in the face, Stella Chapman's words. Even as she had walked the school’s corridors, stopping into the library to check in some of her maths textbooks still her mind refused to stop, analyzing your facial features, the slight curve of your jaw, your eyes that were shaped in such a familiar position..
Pip shrugged it off afterward, she had much more important matters to tend to, it was a Friday evening and the campus would be closing, Pip still needed to grab a few things before her drive back home, she had promised her mother she would be home for dinner, after having missed so many. Josh was getting taller at this point every time she would see him, just another indication of the life she was missing out on. But how could she ever be the same Pip? Not after everything she had been through. That jubilant, clever girl was lost, lost in the wind just like Andie had been. And she was afraid she would never get her back.
It was at this thought that she felt a familiar hand on her shoulder and the scent of ghastly chewing tobacco. Headmaster Sainsbury. Lifting her steel blue eyes from her current book she held in her pale fingers she watched as the man smiled, bowing his head in regards to her. Pip almost smiled, Mr Sainsbury looked so out of place standing in the dusty old archive of the library, clutching his indoor hat to his fingers. He wasn’t exactly a large man, portly in stature.
Pip immediately put down her book, straightening her posture, “Mr. Sainsbury, what a lovely surprise, what can I do for you, sir? I was just about to pack for home, my mum is making Yorkshire pudding and I wouldn’t want to be late. Am I missing any assignments? Is this about my marks on my recent exam?”
Mr Sainsbury’s lips lifted into a creased smile, his hands coming up to wave the notion away almost sensing the young girl’s anxious thoughts, “Oh It pleases me to have such a young bright pupil such as you Miss Amobi in our midst. Do not fear Darling you shall make your dinner and as for your assignments, you are simply soaring through. I simply came here to ask rather a big favour from you, you see there is a new pupil joining our fine establishment- the young girl I escorted to the office today” At the mention of you Pip’s eyes shot to the man, her eyes narrowed.
“You see, she needs a tour around the campus, nothing big just a proper guide around the school and I-“ It was obvious Mr. Sainsbury was beating about the bush, it was almost like he couldn't quite make the words fly out of his mouth. Like he was struggling even to get the long-winded syllables out.
Pip’s eyebrows lifted, intrigue dancing in her blue irises, “You what sir?”
Mr. Sainsbury sighed, looking ashamed and somber as he eyed the stacks of wooden books before whispering softly, “Given the matter that surrounds her family, this is a great opportunity for Miss Y/N, She has bravely decided to get on with her life despite the-“ his eyes lifted as to find the words, “Unfortunate events that have been associated with her family. I had a whole list of well-qualified top marked students to welcome her but I soon realized after her little introduction in the great hall that she needs a rather caring hand, and seeing as how I and many other educators at this university hold you in such high esteem miss Amobi I find it is only fitting for you to give her the welcome tour, as you have a familiar shall we say experience with this topic?”
Pip blinked, the sides of her mouth creasing into a confused smile, her mind telling her to kindly decline, eying her yellowed watch on her wrist, it would be half past three in a few minutes, she had planned rather hastily a quick nip into her dorm to grab a few essentials before she made the small hour trip back to Little Kilton. Her mum had probably already prepared the table and made the mince pies that had been her favorite since childhood. But the way Pip’s heart seemed to dance at the thought of you made her mind take over, and before she knew it she was agreeing.
Mr Sainsbury looked relieved at her words, a smile so big and round filling his lips. “Wonderful!! Thank you so much, Pippa, this really means a great deal to me and her family. Now if you hurry you’ll just about catch her. She’s just in the chapel”.
Before Pip could ask any questions, the man was gone. Pippa eyed her watch, her mind logical as she thought, it would be half past four by the time she finished the tour, it would be cutting it close but she would still make it back in time for dinner. So, lugging her knapsack again before making a beeline up the old steps she quickly made it to her dorm, gathering her keys and a few gifts she had gotten for Cara and Ravi into her bag before descending the steps. Her steps were rather uncoordinated as she flew through the school’s corridors, eyes taking in the wristwatch as she ran up the chapel steps, excusing herself as she flew past the small number of pupils that were left loitering around the campus, her grip on her knapsack tightening as she came into view of the great medieval hall, eyes searching the crowd for you. Her eyes zeroed in and her heart seemed to leap as she caught sight of you, sitting near the far edge of the long table, book in hand, the reflection of the stained-glass mirror making the colour of your eyes pop. Her chest was heaving wildly as she willed her feet to move, the feeling so foreign. Her eyes took In the way your feet crossed under the table, your outfit now a rather studious aesthetic that made her knees weak.
Sighing, she made it in front of you, and your eyes flitted up to meet her own, and Pip couldn’t breathe. “Hi…. I’m Pip” she settled on, sighing and offering her best smile, “Mr Sainsbury sent me to be your official Cambridge tour guide” she spoke, offering her hand. You put your book down, eyes flitting down her outfit, your lips quirking up, “Did you run here? You look quite out of breath” you assessed. Pip’s cheeks blushed but she nodded, “Very attuned to observation Miss-“you smiled, getting up from your spot, lifting your backpack on your shoulder, Pip listened as you told her your name, offering a small smile. Hand in hers as you shook it. Your fingers felt hot in her touch, and she quickly pulled back, stepping in front of you with her back turned to the hall, “Shall we begin your tour?”.
Pip began showing you around campus, regaling you with stories, the history of the school, and even showing you the original medieval structure of the school. She was keen to answer as many questions as she could, she took note of the way you were rather quiet, hands behind your back, eyes still that dark cloud, but just enough smile to look appealing, to fool just about anyone, but Pip wasn’t just anyone.
It was while Pip was walking you back to the dorms that you spoke, this time rather fast and anxious, “Please don’t find this presumptuous of me and if I am talking out of turn please forgive me but I’ve heard of the cases you solved, I just- I wanted you to know that as someone whose sister is-I wanted to thank you for what you did for Andie Bell and Jamie Reynolds, you gave my parents and me a lot of hope ”.
The words took her off guard, and she only eyed you. You were walking beside her, slowly, your skirt ruffling in the wind, cheeks a pale hue, but eyes remaining on the floor, the ghostly feeling of somberness overtaking the air. It was nice to be thanked, Pip was grateful for that, not many people had thanked her, not the Bells, the media, and certainly not the Police. They all saw her as meddlesome, as something to contain rather than set free.
But here you were, thanking her with your clouded eyes and broken stuttered words. It stirred Pip’s stomach, the sight of you in the pale winding down sun, looking as strong as you could, putting on a brave face, getting out in the world even if you wanted nothing more than to shut it out.
“I did what any decent person would do” Pippa stated, “In fact, I know many people who are inclined to disagree with you, and sometimes I think I am rather dense to have meddled in that-I-I allowed myself to get so consumed by the cases, I-I didn’t see the way I intruded into people's lives-“ Pip didn’t know why she felt so safe divulging her thoughts to you, perhaps she felt some sort of kindred spirit in you, you knew what it felt to be on the receiving end of her leering, knew what it felt like to lose someone and have no answers given. And perhaps it was a welcome feeling getting all these thoughts out. You stayed quiet for a second, your pale fingers tugging the ends of your jumper in a nervous act, Pippa watched your eyes turn downcast, your eyes glossy, but even as you spoke your voice never wavered.
“That’s because they had something to hide…I wish the police had been that lucky with my sister it’s been two years. Everybody says it gets better with time, but it really doesn't. It tends to mess with people's minds, shows you how fragile a human mind can be".
Pippa's head tilted as you continued walking, she knew what you meant. She had seen this to be true with Jamie Rennoylds case, had seen how Joanna and Connor had reacted, almost like they had lost a part of there soul. She remembers the dark undercurrents beneath Connor's usually pale eyes, the rattling of the desk as they both sat in class, and the dread that had swooped inside her stomach at the missing yellow knife. She remembers and remembers till she can see the image of Jason Bell clouding her mind, his sweaty perspiring skin as he held her to the ground. Her hands had begun to shake, and she quickly rubbed them against the fabric of her jeans, to prove to herself she was safe, to ground her rapid heartbeat, to prove to her brain that there was no blood splattered on the edges of her fingers.
Her eyes turned to you, her cobalt eyes tracing over your figure as you walked ahead of her, heading back to a quiet campus, the wind creating a cool undercurrent that whipped your hair, pulling at the edges of your slick ponytail and Pip wondered how you felt about the whole ordeal. About Amelia, the case, did you go to bed at night with an uncomfortable pit in your stomach? Did you replay happy memories over and over to yourself? rationalize with your brain? use logic to outway the way your world felt?
The way you had just worded it, your eyes a dark haze as you spoke the words like you were in some deep dark space, filled with haunting thoughts, possibilities of the unknown, of dark shadows that would follow you wherever you went. Like a ghost that you couldn't get rid of, like a silent companion. 'It tends to mess with people's minds, shows you how fragile a human mind can be"
Had it messed with yours? Were you as eccentric as she was? were you unsatisfied with the justice system? The whitfoshire police? just how fragile was your mind?
These thoughts plagued Pip as she brought you back to the pupil's dorm, her eyes tracing over you like she was assessing a case, like she was analyzing every movement, from the way your fingers stretched to accommodate the door handle, and it was then she noticed. Crescent moons on your inner palms, indented into your skin like a tattoo. It was hard to notice for others, but she was a keen observer after her cases. She was paranoid and often times looking over her shoulders. Eying teens as they trotted the campus with a cup of alcohol clutched in their hands. Because deep down she knew just what happened when you engaged in those activities. It meant heartache, hurting those you loved, bad choices, and in the worst-case scenario, death.
At the thought images of Andie Bell invaded her mind. It was funny how that worked. How Pip had never met the girl, but she knew her secrets, knew she slept with a pink bunny, and had a childhood pet named Roadie. Knew she had wanted nothing more than to save her baby sister from the same fate as the other victims of her father. Andie Bell, the girl who had in a way saved Pip. Pip often thought back to the girl with fondness. The girl who had died at the hands of her sister. A freak accident, the wrong place at the wrong time. Her eyes watched as you tugged open your dorm door with your key, your eyebrows struggling. Did Amelia look like you? The same strong nose and sharp cheekbones? the same pink frosted lips?
Did you feel the way that Becca Bell felt about her older sister? Did your older sister care about you? Was she kind? was she the sister like Andie who gave you love by hiding secrets?
"Did you love your sister?"
Pip hadn't meant to voice her own thoughts, but at that moment she felt that familiar pit in her gut, the one that usually made her stomach flip. She was no longer Pippa Fitz Amobi of little Kilton, she was that girl again sitting in front of Becca Bell asking about the calamity, the girl eying Nat de Silva as she refused to give answers. The girl weeping into Stanley Forbes eyes as she clung to him.
Her voice was brittle, keeping a soft edge to it.
The way your body froze on the lock, it was a calm type, which led Pip to believe you were more hurt than guilty. Your throat bobbed, and Pip watched the movement. Her eyes scanned over your soft neck. Your eyes were heavy, and you only whispered.
"I do.... it's not past tense" You held a sharp edge to your voice, eyeing Pippa's reflection in the mirror. "She's still out there I don't care what those prats say, my sister is still alive and well. because if she's not then-'' you halted, almost like a button was pushed and you came back to your senses. Your grip on the handle loosened, your eyes became less of a dark void, and you wiped quickly at a tear that had stuck to your eyelashes.
"No body was ever found. and the sniffer dog lost her trail up Abbots Road. The police say she could have gotten into a car, but I know my sister...she's clever, got her wits about her, like you-" your eyes flitted across Pip's.
You must have seen the way Pip's eyebrows creased at the words, "The minute I saw you sitting in the common room I thought to myself, Amelia would be like that. Too clever, too serious to care about the mindless chatters. Busy in her own world, she often was. but she made just enough time for me to feel special. so, when you ask if I love my sister the answer Miss Fitz Amobi is a resounding yes".
Pippa was good at reading people, she had a way of peering at a person's eyes, and she had done with any people and now as she eyed you, she felt it deep in her bones. You were 100% truthful.
"Thank you for the tour, Pippa, Mr. Sainsbury said you were observant, but I didn't quite believe him, till now. They say the eyes are the window to the soul and I could just about hear what you were thinking. Is she telling the truth? Believe me...I can read people too." the edges of your lips curved into a soft smile, like an understanding and then you opened the dorm door, and gone you went. Vanished into thin air.
Pippa watched your form leave, her breathing hard and cold as it flew out of her mouth, her thoughts loud and pulling her mind in all directions. It was only her phone vibrating in her pocket that brought her out of her trance, and she was answering it.
"Hello?"
"Pip it's half past five! where are you? Josh is beginning to wonder if you are coming at all! and Ravi just arrived!"
It was hard to snap out of her own head, which at the moment looked more and more like the murder board she had torn up as soon as Andie's case was finished. Invisible strings were being tied in her mind; questions written in crimson letters over your words. but Pip knew she could let herself fall for it, for the clues and the mystery. The truth, the justice. she couldn't let herself fall prey, she needed to lay low, focus on her studies, and get far away from cases. but was it truly falling prey if this case landed on her lap?
At the squeaky cadence of her mother's voice Pippa blinked, coming to her senses, she nodded and immediately flew in the direction of her father's old Volvo, "Sorry mum I got cornered by Mr. Sainsbury, There was a new pupil I had to meet, I'll be home as fast as I can...No I am not singing the seat belt song I am almost twenty mother!"
Even throughout the drive back to Little Kilton Pip could feel her nerves on edge. It always happened like clockwork, the way her body would react to the Little Kilton sign. It's emblem of a small country bridge used to be familiar, it was where she was born and raised, where Cara and Ravi resided, and her family, but all it brought up were ghosts. Andie Bell walking along the road and cutting along the churchyard to get to Elliot's house, not knowing her fate. Howie Bowers and his odd house on Weevil Road, the abandoned farmhouse where Andie's bones were found in the septic tank. and worse of all The Bell House. Because even though it had been months just at the sight of the house Pip could feel her heart, almost feel the sticky duct tape around the edges of her mouth, feel the sting and the metallic hammer underneath her nails.
To say she was running from the town would be an understatement. She knew as soon as she got out of her Volvo everyone would be there. Nat, Jamie, Connor, the Singhs. so, putting on her brave face she parked the car and was met with a large hug from Josh first, who had run to greet her, his boyish charms on full display, "Pippo hippo!!". The feeling of Josh in her arms instantly calmed her racing heart, just enough for her to feel normal. and soon she made her rounds saying hello to all her guests. Nat wanted to know all about university and Jamie as always hugged her tight, like he was thanking her every time for her help.
Ravi gave her an extra hug, "Been staying up late sarge? You look like the drive was long" he commented as they both sat, watching Josh eagerly flip through some Pictionary cards, having no clue what a word was and would flip to a next one, brows creasing.
They both knew what that meant, and Pip had no trouble stating her troubles, not to him. After all, he had been the one to come to her rescue after the Jason Bell incident, helping her tie up the much-needed evidence and in turn, she had given him back Sal, it was mutual trust A shared trauma.
"I can't sleep at night. most days I get an hour or two, I tried sleeping pills, but I have the worst night terrors. I keep seeing his eyes, that pale lifeless blue" Pip spoke, eyes on the laughing crowd in front of her, voice low. Ravi nodded, his eyes concerned, "I meant other than the obvious, how did you feel driving into town? It has been what two months since you've been back? I couldn't help but notice how long you stayed in the car".
Pip had to chuckle, of course, Ravi would notice, after all for a brief moment in time he had fancied her, she playfully slapped his shoulders, "Now whose stalking".
Ravi chuckled, he reached for his trifle, "Have you heard of the whitfoshire case?". The words were said with curiosity, which made Ravi's face crinkle, his brown eyes assessing Pip.
"The case from three years ago? The one with the girl who vanished. I've not heard much about it, why?".
Pip could sense his uneasiness, but she only continued, "Just asking. and it was two years ago, and that girls name is Amelia"
"you're not thinking of taking it on, are you? what happened to that Jane Doe case you were trifling about with?"
pip allowed her eyes to drift back on Nat, watching her cuddle up with Jamie, "It's not enough...I need more."
she knew how the words made her sound. obsessed, possibly insane, but what if that was her now? what if she was no longer the tidy and well-liked Pippa Fitz Amobi?
"More?" Ravi laughed, but it was a shocked laugh like he just couldn't quite believe her words. Like he was worried, he should have been. "More? Pip are you even focusing on your studies? what about your podcast? you need some counseling; I've done some and it's given me a much better out-"
"I don't need a shrink telling me I've gone off my nutter Ravi!" the words were gritted, and Pip got up, moving to the kitchen for some air, some space. she knew Ravi was only trying to help, he had the best intentions, but still, it was a sore point. Her grip on the kettle was tight and she was only brought to life again when Cara Ward entered the kitchen, brown eyes alight, she had just arrived as was evidenced by the snood nestled in her fingers. Pip without thought rushed to her, holding tightly and burying her face into her collarbone. needing that grounding touch only Cara had.
"You look like a ghost! Have you eaten Chica?"
Pip only brought her closer, "I need to talk" and so they did.
sat in Pip's room which looked the same as she had left it but somehow felt altogether different, Cara holding the tin of Jamie Dodgers and tea, oak eyes worried as Pip spoke. "You know that Jane Doe case I've been working on for my podcast?"
Cara nodded, eyebrows knitted, trying to decipher her words. "Yeah, last I heard you were asking DI Hawkins for the public records".
Pip bit her lip, putting her tea down, "Have you ever heard of the Whitfoshire case?".
Cara's eyebrows rose, "You mean the Amelia case? Yeah, I read up on it last year when Jamie went missing, fascinating. Why?".
Pip watched as Cara dipped her Jammie dodger into the milky tea, "Well her sister is in my year at Cambridge, and Mr. Sainsbury had me give her a welcome tour. That's why I was a bit late".
Cara halted, a twinkle in her heavy brown eyes, she knew Pip like the back of her thumb, "You fancy her already, don't you? Let me guess your detective side went all nuts and now you want to take on the case to show her what a clever girl you are".
Pippa wanted to argue, but it was no use.
"It's the exact opposite actually, I am trying to convince myself I don't need this case. It would only do me harm...plus what good would I be to y/n? I'd only bring her more heartbreak".
Cara was silent momentarily, her brows furrowed in thought. "Or you would be helping lay her thoughts to rest. That must be hard living her life. I cannot imagine how I would feel if Naomi went missing."
Those words seemed to drill themselves through Pip's head the next few days, invaded her senses till all she thought of was you. How had you felt? How did you feel? Could she really help you? Did you even want her help?
These thoughts plagued her, till finally she arose from her bed, hair a soiled mess and body refusing to lay still, heart a roaring fire. It was obvious the tell-tale signs, she would never get to sleep. Not when she felt like this. Hyperactive, every bone in her body a buzz. The sleeping pills void of work, and she had quit taking the other pills from Luke Eaton. Her brain felt like it was frying in the heat of her own skin, and for a second, she thinks its leaking out of her ears, the heat boiling up in her blood.
Pippa was a mess as she sat on her bed, chest rising and falling, pale complexion glistening with sweat, her heart a rapid beat as she eyed her computer sitting on her wooden desk. Her mind was at war with herself, half of her wanting nothing more than to sink her teeth into the case, to help you, but the other was wary. What would this case do to her? Would it aid her? would it calm her racing mind and her insanity that only seemed to make a home in her veins?
Her leg began to shake, small trembles as she slowly edged her way to the computer, her Shakey hands trembling as she opened the lid, her tongue moving to lick her lips as she moved to the search bar.
Her heart was a hammering mess, feral beats, her silver eyes dark. There was no going back from this, but underneath all the confusion and utter fear in the pit of her stomach she also couldn't ignore the way her body preened. The way her fingers eagerly searched up your name.
In an instant millions of articles met her grey hues, familiar names, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, The sun, The spectator--the list is various and long. Some of the titles are eager and fast gripping, 'The Whitfoshire conspiracy: unraveling the secrets behind the disappearance'
'The silent years: Amelia's family breaks their silence'
Pip skims through them all, but it's the BBC's article she halts on, her eyes seem to halt over the website, her blue hues taking in the picture atop the article, the words, 'Hope Fades: Amelia's haunting Legacy'
It's not the words that tug at pip's heart, nor the familiar backdrop of BBC. but the picture they have chosen. It's a lovely family portrait, done in front of a grand stone estate, the estate Stella chapman had mentioned just a few days ago.
Pip gulps, she's worked on two cases previously, she's well aware of the feelings accompanying them, but this feeling, this tightness in her chest is new. Almost like she's scared, almost like she doesn't quite know what she's getting into.
All she knows is that the way Amelia is hugging you to her chest while you squirm away, cheeks flushed and eyes smiling, beaming, makes it even harder for her to swallow because she had been right. You did look like your older sister. In every way, the same familiar slope of the eyes, the pale cheeks, the strong English cheekbones. But it's the way you look so genuinely happy, matching bracelets on your wrists, she knows this case will affect her the most than any other, why? Because maybe, just maybe Pip was starting to care about you more than she should.
She let her eyes fall to the rest of your family. Beside you was your mother, her smile looked painted, forced, much like Mrs. Bell. Pip knew the type, you looked like her too, same eye shape but it was your father's smile you inherited, a daddy's girl to be sure.
Pip's first impression of your father was rather muddled by Stella Chapmans words, he was a solicitor at Whitfoshire Solicitors, and apparently unfaithful to your mother. Wither there was any truth in that time would tell. Your father stood tall, looming over you, his shoulders broad, his eyes calm, yet Pippa couldn't quite understand why his smile was so.... charming?
A chuckle fell of her lips, she had yet to see your full smile, the one you only get to see if you know that person Intrinsically, but she had seen enough by the curve of your pink lips to know you had also inherited your father's charm along with his smile.
Something in Pip's heart made her eyes flit back to you, taking in your smile, the real you in your older sisters' arms. the real person you hid from others, from the media, from everyone. She could do it, finish the case, not just for her, for the sake of just needing a case, but for you. To help you, your family.
Or was it somehow the opposite? Was her mind throwing you in as a reason? Using you as some kind of shield to give herself permission? To prove to herself that Pippa Fitz Amobi still had that inner drive. To prove that she still was a good person.
The thought was alarming, and Pip quickly shut down her computer, the room no longer lit by the familiar backdrop. Her mind was a whirlwind, her emotions muddled, was she really going to do this again?
In an instant her fingers were on her mobile, dialing the only number she knew by heart. Every second the dial tone rang was a moment of eternity, but soon the familiar voice of Cara ward greeted her ears. It was a calming voice, one that often reminded her of days in the countryside as children.
“What on god's green earth are you doing at half past midnight? I am absolutely knackered- “
Pip didn’t waste time, she needed to know what Cara thought.
“I did it…I looked up the case…and I really want it Cara…” pip’s fingers curled against the mobile, “god Cara, I want it so badly…but I’m not certain it’s for the right reasons”.
Cara’s sigh was transmitted over the phone, but a small smile could be heard in her voice. “What are those reasons?”.
Pip chuckled sardonically, ruffling her bed head, chestnut curls unkempt as she ran a hand through them.
“I-I want to help her…. of course, I do…I think I’m growing rather fond of her Cara….and I’ve only just met her…it sounds daft, and I know. But…I want to know her…really know her…and maybe…it’s been a while since I’ve done a case…since I was truly committed. I know for certain that this is a chance to prove to myself…something I’ve been searching for”.
The line was quiet, and then Cara spoke. “Looks to me like you’ve got a case to solve. Be careful with her pip…and most importantly be careful with yourself.”
And then the line went dead.

A bit of stalker pip for my readers as a thanks for the undoubted patience📚
We know what we are, but not what we may be (sneak peek)
It was a harmless act...at least that's what Pip told herself. Everyday at noon day when Little Kilton's sun would drip bellow the clouds and People would rush out to and from, their busy soulless feet gliding on the dusty cobblestone streets Pip would sit and watch the noon bus. A cup of steaming hot tea in front of her, though she would never drink it. Could only bring herself to wrap her cold aching fingers against the warm rim.
The strangers would clamber of the bus, sobbing snot filled children, grumbling men, whiny teens, all in various amounts. And then you would come in focus. Moving off the bus, stopping with that bright earth shattering smile and paying an extra half pound for charity. You and your bloody red raincoat with a black beret. The first time pip had saw you she swore she looked like a love sick gobsmacked teenager.
You were a delight. With your beautiful features and even more beautiful personality. Pip found herself entranced. It had such been a long while since she had seen something worthy of beauty. You radiated light. The light that had been missing from her for months. Perhaps years.
You always frequented that bus. Took it from Whitfoshire. A coastal town a few miles away. Where the sea shone and on weekends fish shops would be filled to the brim with hardworking families eager for a taste of the majestic sea. Pip had quickly shook her head once she had noticed her gaze hadn't left your form, even as you walked down the pavement, down the rows of shops and autumn leaves. Looking like you belonged here than anywhere else.
Pip could feel a blush adorn her cheeks, turning them into her own personal shade of rouge. She felt sheepish as she stood up from the coffee shop chairs. Her mind felt fuzzy and weighted. Her eyes roaming over your frame, taking in your soft pale hands, the slender shape of your fingers as you pulled the wooden door open to the Book Cellar. The shop that Harry Scythe worked at. Harry scythe whose mother Mary scythe worked alongside Stanley Forbes at the Kilton mail, Mary scythe who on the day of Stanley's funeral had stood on the outskirts of the cemetery holding a sign and shouting—
Pip's breathing choked, a feeling of pain and discomfort filling her veins.
She blinked, a few times to wash away the unsettled tears that threatened to slip past.
Her eyes caught yours through the see through window, you were holding a leather book in your hands, fingers skimming over the leather like a prize.
And pip for a second wished she could be the leather bound book. To be held so tightly and treasured. It was an odd thought, one that made her heart race.
The coffee shop was only a street away. A few strides and she could go in. See you up close. Feel your sparkling bright kind personality. You must have caught her staring, or felt some pair of eyes on you because suddenly your eyes were flitting from the leather bound book in your fingers to the latticed shop window and as soon as your eyes locked with Pip's across the street you smiled.
It was a just a smile. A simple greeting, not even a greeting, a formality at best. Pip convinced herself.
You were British for goodness sake a smile was a cordial expression.
So why did it feel like Pip could finally breathe? Your lips were wide and pink as they lifted, your beret only adding to your allure.
Your eyes seemed to stay on Pip for a moment, your tongue peeking out of your lips like you were analyzing her. Taking her in. But soon your eyes were gone as the person at the till spoke to you, and pip watched as you walked across the wooden bookshop. Following your movements through the window.
And suddenly, before she could stop herself, or reason with her logical mind she was striding across the small English street and into the bookshop. The sound of the bell entering her mind. Echoing through the recesses of her brain.

drunk pip thoughts
-🤠
Drunk Pip is my babygirl and I absolutely love her to death. So I utterly believe with my whole heart a inebriated pippa fitz Amobi would consist of her being touchy, a cuddle bug if you will. touchy enough that she practically just sits atop you, her ruddy cheeks a hue and her dark glossy silver eyes watching your every movement, practically glued to your face, her fingers sloppy as they move over your face. Skimming over your cheeks, your lips, over the crease in your forehead , the scar you got from your older sister pushing you of a trolley at Tescos.
She’s all analytical eyes, and soon she’s just rambling, “your eyes are such a wonderful colour, and your lips are so pretty-you’re like a perfect goddess….last time I was this drunk some guy tried to steal my nose but you-you can steal more than my nose-“ she’s prattling off.
🤭🤭
She’d also be the type to be extra concerned for you when drunk, you think it’s quite funny since she’s the one inebriated but pip, still with her slurring words is making you buckle up, singing the buckle up song that makes your ears red. It’s even worse when Cara needs a lift home. “Ah looks like your girl didn’t buckle up, shall we sing the song?” Cara is an absolute menace and revels in the way your cheeks and ears are ruddy while pip makes you sing the song. 😭

Random Thought of the day. (This actually could be a Short story, but I’ll label it as a headcannon) pre agggtm.
The Quiet Affections of Pippa Fitz Amobi (HeadCannons)
Paring: Pippa Fitz Amobi x fem reader
Warnings: fluff, heart melting fluff, stomach inducing fluff🤭
Pippa Fitz Amobi is a cuddler. You wouldn’t think it just from knowing her, but as soon as you two become girlfriends, and she’s completely smitten by you, she lets her walls down. She’s always the first one to initiate physical contact. It first happened at one of Josh’s football games. You had been a favorite of his lately, he adored you. “To pieces” as Leanne put it. Growing up you had a lot of siblings, so you were use to children, and you had first met Pip when your mother had inadvertently signed you up to be Josh’s baby sister in grade 8.
“Oh just this once love! Please!! The Amboi’s would be just so appreciative if you did! And you can make some pocket money! How does a nice fiver sound?” Of course you didn’t care a whit for the money. So you had agreed, taking your homework with you. You had known the Amboi’s for years, had seen them around town. You knew Pip from school, but you never spoke. You were to shy, and your schedules were always busy. Never synchronized enough to have a chat. But you knew she was kind, studious, always getting the highest marks in her year.
Josh had been overjoyed to see you, taking you by the hand as soon as soon as you had darkened the door, books in hand. He simply eyed you with his brown eyes, his brow squinting, “oh not another homework girl!” He whined, “all my sister does is homework! Are you going to do that all night too?”.
You chuckled, putting your books on the Amboi’s kitchen table, you leaned down so you were eye level with Josh, your eyes serious, “I may not know your sister as well as her friends, or you, but I do know she’s very intelligent, especially at schoolwork. Don’t you want to be good at schoolwork?”. Josh seemed to think before shaking his head, “Miss says my homework is atrocious! What does that mean?”.
You hid your smile, “I think it means you need a little more work”. Pip had come home well into the evening, you noticed because you had seen Cara Ward’s big sister drop her of. You liked the Wards, they were comical and always made you laugh, even if not on purpose. Pip at first had been surprised to see you, stopping in her tracks as she opened the front door, “mum! Can Cara sleepover on Friday?” She announced into the air, cheeks red when she found you looking up at her from the Amboi’s couch. Your cheeks red, smile wide.
You lifted your book in your hands, “Not mum sorry to disappoint” you had joked. Pip’s cheeks had turned a shade of crimson, she had shaken her head, a few embarrassed laughs falling of her lips. “Sorry, I just wasn’t expecting you to be here in my living room. Did Flora Cancel? Mum didn’t tell me she and dad were going out” Pippa stated, walking over and sitting across from you, blue watercolored eyes undoing her laces of her trainers. You shook your head, “I’m not sure about Flora, mum basically hired me for the job, apparently your mum thinks highly of me when it comes to children” you spoke, eyebrows lifted up as you turned the page on your book, “not sure why”.
You noticed Pip’s eyes had become trained on your book, a small smile perched on her lips. “Is that Great Expectations? I’ve tried to get Cara to read it with me but she just calls it “Newer Shakespeare”.
From then on you had been more accepting of babysitting Josh, Pipa would sit with you after you had put Josh to bed, eyes alight as you told her where you were in the book, how you felt about what was going on, how Charles Dickens had a way with words. She listened, attentively. At school you were more inclined to smile at her as you passed in the corridors. Pip had even gone so far as to find you in the library, “I just thought you’d like this book, it’s an Agatha Christie. It’s a first edition copy, took me ages to find. Dad had to go to ten second hand stores in London just to find it” she rambled, biting her lip. It was here where you first noticed how pretty she looked.
It hadn’t been this big earthshattering moment. It had been a small thought. But then that small thought became more. Until you didn’t think she was just pretty, you thought she was beautiful. With her soft defined cheekbones and her eyes. Which were different every time you saw her. At school they were bold, analytical, dare you say scholarly. At home in the comfort of her room, they were wild and magnetic. In the library they were radiant, and suddenly blue had a new meaning to you. It was the colour blue that made your heart race, made your tongue falter as she eyed you on her bed, waiting for your thoughts on the next classic she had leant you.
Then it was homework. You two had begun doing homework together, “a get together with a focus on scholarly matters” as Cara had put it. As Pippa worked alongside you, you noticed something, call it a earthshattering realization, but She was not the most objectively attractive girl in school, but her beauty was amplified because you admired her. Admired her for her absolutely angelic voice as she sang in the library, headphones in ears. Admired her when you sat opposite side of the room from her and watched her while she sang. She was confident enough and cool enough to have been one of the popular kids, but she didn't seem to care about that sort of thing. She was down to earth, and kind, and warm. And yes, pretty too. But that wasn't really the point. The point was, she understood you. And maybe just maybe, the way Pip would smile at you through the layers of books, might have made your heart ache in the best way.
Then it was pip herself who surprised you. She was more touchy with you, finding you at school and sitting so close your legs brushed. Holding your hand as you walked her to class. Letting you in her room, which you knew was special, only Cara and Lauren had been up here. You didn’t know what you were, best friends? But did best friends think about what her lips would feel like? How soft and warm they would be?
“Cara’s been my best friend since primary school. But you…you don’t feel like one to me. I’ve spent days reasoning with myself. Analyzing myself, trying to figure out why you feel different” Pippa had stated to you one day, out of the blue, her eyes seeming to shine, bold as the colour blue. “But I just realized. It’s because…your my person. You understand me. In ways nobody does. So when are you going to ask me out?”
So it was no surprise when you had asked her on an outing the next day, the book store of course. And she had said yes.
I just might do a actual story based on this. 🥺😭

Pip: I just adopted a new cat! Do you wanna see?
Reader: Gasps?! Really?!! Yes!
Pip brings the reader in her room and closes the door behind her
Reader: Where’s the cat?
Pippa: Meow
The way I read this and turned scarlet 🤭😮💨 pip being an absolute tease and tricking reader into the bedroom only to smile at reader with that sweet smirk and lock the door with blue dark rimmed eyes. She’d be all sweet yet calm. Tilt her head, “oh? You didn’t really think I had a cat in here did you silly girl?”
She’d saunter over from the door and just grab you softly and throw you on the bed before pouncing on you and giggling as she starts nipping kisses around your neck and collarbone.
*is it bad if I found the thought of pip saying meow attractive?* maybe it’s because of that one interview with Emma, asha, and yali…☺️☺️
#caitlynsdog#I would not oppose if you send me more of these#pip being a devious minx and locking you in the room is just 😮💨#agggtm#emma myers#pippa fitz amobi#favorites#pippa fitz amobi x fem reader

I need some horny pip thoughts today please Kilton!! (Is it alright if I nickname you that?🤭)
First of I absolutely love that nickname!! So feel free to use it! And secondly here is some horny pip from my new upcoming fic.
‘You saw the opportunity and launched. You were far to aroused to care. You launched your assault on her neck, lips dancing over her skin, your eyes closed as you felt her pulse beneath your lips. Her eyes fluttering as she gave in to your assault, but it never lasted long as her hands skimmed to hold you by the waist.
They were strong and seemed to command you to stop, you whine pitifully as pip pulled you off, eyes dark as they scanned you.
"Good girls have patience, and I know your so good at having patience aren't you my love?" Pip began, her lips delving into that soft smirk that made your skin prinkle. You nodded, all lust filled eyes. Your heart racing itching to feel pip all around you.
Consuming you. Leave you shaking and crying for more. She had done it before. And you wanted her to do it now. God did you want too. Pippa smiled at that, like her mind knew just what you wanted. ‘
I know its not nearly horny enough but I promise you it is….👀🫶

Jealous Pip absolutely has my heart!!! She'd be so hottt, her hand on your waist, and she's whipering into your ear all the things she wants to do to you...all right in front of the guy who's been trying to flirt
-💋
Jealous Pippa who has no trouble coming up to you and tugging you closer to her chest, whispering thugs in your ear that make your face stark red, not because of the way pippa’s lips feel against your ear, or her lithe fingers trailing under your sweater to feel your skin beneath. But because of the way her words are so explicit they make your head spin.
She’s very clingy, but not in a cute way, it’s more like she’s subtly making passive aggressive eyes at whoever you give attention, her fingers subtly playing with your hair, putting it behind your ear. Ghosting her fingers over your thigh, softly letting others know you’re hers.
Eventually the guy gets the fact that you are head over heels for pip with your soft puppy eyes and giggles you’re letting out , she’s practically making out with you whilst your on the stool and she’s hovering over you with dark eyes and a grip so tight she’d rather die than let go.
“That guy must have really fancied you….too bad you’re mine” she’d growl into your ear, “my sweet sweet babygirl. He looked a bit sketchy didn’t he? Don’t worry…I’ve got you. Mommy would never let anyone else touch what’s hers”.
#I hate my writing here but I wanted to give you soemthing sweet anon 😭#grumpy jealous pip#pippa fitz amobi#pippa fitz amobi x fem reader#💋

You guys aren’t ready for Whitfoshire Pippa Fitz Amobi…🤭🤭
‘she’s probably a trust fund baby, did you see her clothes? It’s a wonder she can afford that, from what my mum says her dad has been shagging his secretary-“the lid of the silver laptop pip’s fingers had been clutching slammed, the echo vibrating the whole table, causing the many cups of tea to ricochet. Stella chapman’s eyes immediately widened at Pip’s outburst. Her lips twisting into an uncomfortable grimace, “Oh Pippa! I didn’t know you were sitting with us. I don’t wish to offend” she began, sugar covered words trying to snake out of her pink frosted lips.
Pippa had found she had less patience these days, often feeling like a bomb ticking ever so slighty, eager to explode at the most mundane siatuations, and stella chapman had picked the wrong day, because if anyone knew the reality of missing persons it was Pippa Fitz Amobi.
