Ok, so I am going to reblog my own post! Tagging @batrachised (who might still be interested in the results):

I have read few fanfics that have dealt with the new name of the house! Here are some examples:

Birch House (because of the trees and wall paper in the living room) - from the "I Knew I Loved You" by marzoog (ff.net)

Cashlin (meaning Little Castle) - from "Emily - Pictures, Poems and Songs" by BassoonGirl (ao3),

No-Longer-Disappointed House from "No Place Like Home" by Sally Exactly (ao3),

Satisfied House - it had been mentioned in quite a few stories, for example here: "if it takes another life i'll wait for you on the other side" by pinuspinea (ao3),

Evensong (from a poem by Tennyson) from "Emily's Path" by ruby gillis (ff.net),

Hope Fulfilled - "Marigold of Misty Hollow" by ElouiseBates (ff.net).

I love all the creative names the writers came up with! In some other fanfics, the house was referred as Disappointed House, which I think is fitting - I mean, it was named this way, wasn't it?

Now, some of my ideas (most of them are pretty awful, tbh, hence the question;)):

Whispery Hill or Whispery Winds or Whispery Woods ("where the air always seemed so full of nice whispery sounds." Emily's Quest),

Mysterious Woods or Mystery of Woods ("A house with the mystery of woods behind it and around it" Emily's Quest),

Silvery Moon or Silver Moon or Full Moon (a tribute to the New Moon and Murray traditions... and the fact this house is grey),

Fir Path, Fir Hill, Fir Hollow, Violet Hollow, May Hollow ("There is a little mossy hollow behind those young firs that is full of violets in May" Emily's Quest),

Alpine Path (ok, a joke... or maybe?)

Rainbow Gold (DEFINITELY a joke. But the name is kind of pretty).

Twilight Hill or Moonlight Hill or Starry Hill,

Silver Hill or a Grey Hill (erm, the house is grey, so...)

Green Hill (funnily enough, Green Gables were translated into "Green Hill" in my native language, so a kind of Anne's tribute, I think),

Old Song or Auld Syne or Rose Corner - but the second one is definitely not Emily's style ("There are roses in that far corner—old-fashioned roses like sweet old songs set to flowering." Emily's Quest)

Yulestarn - an old Scots word to describe the brightest and most noticeable star in the sky on Christmas night (a tribute to the Vega of The Lyre... kind of), I doubt they would go with Brightest Star or Alfa Lyrae (which is another Latin name of Vega),

Promised House (a tribute to their childhood promise),

Hopeful House or Hope House (because they probably wouldn't live there all year - so it is kind of... hopeful, I guess?),

House of Hopes (tribute to Anne's House of Dreams).

Okay, so most of the names I created are not too good... or maybe are simply awful (somehow my "creativity" failed me... again), but the fanfic ones are truly great, so hope you'll enjoy!!!!
