I've been looking for enamel pins, are there any artists you'd recommend?

Admittedly, I haven't bought any enamel pins in a hot second BUT STILL! I HAVE ARTISTS SAVED!!!!

every time artoftangmo has released the angel sets, I've backed the whole thing lol (reasons why I haven't bought pins in a while,) they're SO GOOD and right up my aesthetic. The mertal choices. The simple details. The wings. ten out of TANGMO!

Alum & Ink has. So many choices. Of all sorts of different techniques. I have the star chart pin and IT SPINS!!!!! IT'S A WORKING STAR CHART!!!! ON A PIN!!!!!! They have great examples of clear enamel usage, great soft enamel designs (so many pin sellers use a soft enamel pin as a cheaper way to make their designs that SHOULD be hard enamel and it just. Doesn't work.) that I actually like to look at lol Dangly charms pins?? Playing with different metals and line widths. So amazing. How do they do it all. Looking at their shop, they've added a lot of new designs too.....

Shattered Earth is who I first think of when I think of clear enamel because of their stained glass pins! I have the terrarium D20 pin and it's so pretty!!!! My fave pin from them is Bell Goose, from Untitled Goose Game. It's put away right now but IT DINGS! Fantastic design.

thisishannako doesn't look like they're very active online anymore and their shop is closed :( but I can't NOT mention the artist that got me obsessed with pins. I belonged to their pin club on patreon until they shut down the teir (understandably; they got a great job and couldn't keep up with monthly pin design and production I'm so happy for them!!!!) THE WHALES! THE CLOWN! THE GLOW IN THE DARK CLEAR GHOST FRAME! MOTHMANS! My fave designer of soft enamel pins. Hannako GETS IT! I should dig out the kitsune mask pins, matte black and white metal (depending on which you bought) with the soft enamel making up the details???? chefs kiss

MidnightZone did one of my FAVORITE pin kickstarters, Take This, Travelers, a set of d&d weapons in pin form. I got the bow, the violin, and the rapier. The soft enamel and thick copper metal is PEAK design.

Coey and Shy have great.....I wouldn't call them creepy but they advertise a few of their designs as "occult", They pop up at cons in my area, and I always have to check them out. I thought they were one of the artists that did the pride collar pins but they're not on the shop? Luckily Jackal & Hare also does them, mine are put away so I'm not sure which artist I have lol

Did you know you can make pins out of WOOD?? mittiepaul has a wooden worm on a string pin. just saying. they're one of the many artists I miss from twitter lololol lots of cryptids.

and of course, mayticks, for all your bot and locked tomb pin needs. I really love the murderbot pin, I love how the metal matches the enamel just enough that you have to catch the light to see all of it. Bot would love that. Do not perceive it.

Theres a long story for this strain… its been a survival strain thats taken me probably… 6 months to stabilize. The isolate plate i was gifted had some contam and also environmental damage from shipping so, the fushes of it were sparse and didnt look like the pheno from they who gifted me the genetics. But, i swabbed one of the better fruits in my sparse first round umbo and put em to agar; low germination even from live spores. Took two isos from that, 3 more months and bam… b4m2 iso is putting this shit out! Excited for the maturation of tjis to see if its more expected mow thats its cleaned up… or see what did I isolate in the survival spores obtained!

Hi!! A few months ago you had answered my ask about 1789 Hob getting ready for the meeting by wearing every article of clothing piece by piece and Dream staying back instead of leaving and proceeding to take apart every piece. It was based on a video I had seen of Pinset Tailoring, where the guy basically dresses up in historical clothing and here he did one of late 1700s fashion. I just saw another video last week where he had organized the second Bridgerton ball and everyone was in costumes. And then his real-life boyfriend took the mic from him and surprised him and all the guests with a proposal!!! It was so cute!

I was thinking maybe a dreamling AU would be so great! One scenario could be an academic AU, where they are English and history professors (you take your pick who's who) and they are attending a fundraiser ball where everyone is wearing historical costumes. Hob has been very stressed out planning the ball since he's the event committee chair and Dream has been so aloof lately, which is making him even more stressed out. But Dream is just nervous about the proposal and planning everything and wondering if Hob will say yes! He is not trying to avoid him! Hob thinks Dream looks absolutely gorgeous in his black and violet outfit, and although he knows he looks good too, he can't help but feel some insecurity, especially with all the department people like that sleazy philosophy faculty Alex Burgess flirting with Dream. Joanna and Matthew tell Hob that he is overthinking it and he has nothing to worry about because Dream is on the other side of the room sending him horny looks.

When it's Hob's turn to give a speech as committee chair, he suddenly sees Dream walking towards him with steely determination but his tiny smile. Dream interrupts Hob's speech and requests Hob to hand him the mic. Hob is so confused. Even the musicians stop playing in the background. Dream starts talking and Joanna and Matthew, who were recording Hob's speech, just start saying oh no oh no he's doing it oh my God, and it finally strikes Hob. And there is Dream pulling out a beautiful box, bending on one knee, and holding the most beautiful ring. He asks Hob to marry him and Hob hugs him and says yes before Dream even finishes!!

Everyone cheers, the orchestra starts playing again, and Joanna and Matthew say first dance first dance. So Dream and Hob dance and while everyone thinks they look so adorable and Hob is all red with tears and emotions, Dream is actually saying all the filthy things he will do to Hob when they are alone, taking off all the parts of his costume and saving Hob's cute cravat for last. They may have waited till they went home or may have just sneaked off to an empty corner outside the hall!

I am dying this is so cuuuuuuuute.

While they're dancing slowly around the room, Hob jokingly tells Dream about how he thought that maybe Dream didn't like him anymore. And Dream growls in his ear that if he chooses, he'll take Hob to the cloakroom and show him exactly how much he likes him. All the guests hear Hob’s moan as he clings onto Dream, but nobody really minds.

Later when Hob is standing wearing only his beautiful engagement ring and cute ruffled cravat, with Dream kneeling in between his legs and kissing all the way up from his ankle to his cock... he is very much reassured that Dream likes him a lot. Feeling Dream’s mouth caressing the skin that has been all wrapped up in stockings for hours is the most delightful sensory experience of his life, and Hob is already daydreaming about how he'll wear stockings to their wedding and get Dream to peel them off with his mouth afterwards...

A nibble to his sensitive thigh reminds him to stay in the moment - there's still an engagement to celebrate, before he can start planning the wedding! He's got a beautiful Dream between his legs (still all decked out in his regency-style finery) and he'd better make the most of it!

we all know that the major theory is radiation, and to me, the pinset proves that. however, i want to talk about the glowing pins!

so we work under the assumption that this is giving nuclear fallout. with the flowing paw-print acting as the nucleus of this nightmare. but only Three pins are actually glowing.

Thorn, Tula, and Ava.

My thought is that these are the people who have actually seen or been actively impacted by the Blue physically. But the actual connection is shown by How Much glows.

Tula has the least glow, I assume she was present or nearby when her husband was taken and killed by the Blue. She has not been directly touched by the Blue and thus has not actively formed that powerful bond that Thorn and Ava have.

Ava has slightly more, her teeth and eye glow. This is her taken eye. I have the thought that this is a taken eye that will actually end up showing her more sight than her good eye. Maybe she lost this eye during the time "she didn't want to think about".

Thorn meanwhile has the most glow. Lit from behind but also with the offensive shape of the lightning that he is known for. He has the strongest connection to the Blue and may be able to control it to some degree, unlike Ava from what glows for her.

At least that's what I'm thinking.

But also, I have so many thoughts about the family line and what Ava's connection to the Blue might mean. She looks back into the Warren and people her age and people the age of her grandchildren are already dead. Her radiation might have made her stronger, and through her DNA, her lineage is stronger. Tula and Viola are both paladins and thus have the ability to do Lay on Hands or Bless others (magic that we only know for sure that Thorn can do). Then we have Jaysohn and Lila who seem to be relatively strong and smart for their age, able to blend into nothing and run so Fast. We don't know much of their father, but yeah genuinely, they survived and exceeded expectation.

The Blue is remembered by their line, and while Viola, Lila, and Jaysohn may not have directly interacted with the Blue before, they are connected to them.

Hari ini ada tragedi. Anakku masukin kertas plastik ke hidungnya. Trus dia bingung sendiri gimana keluarinnya. Endingnya nangis dan pas ditanya sama kakek neneknya dia ga mau ngaku kenapa. Akhirnya dibawa pulang ke rumah trus aku yang diinterogasi. Jujur bingung, kenapa anakku klo nangis gitu tuduhannya langsung ke aku. Seolah aku yang bikin dia sedih dan nangis.

Aku peluk trus aku kelonin dia, karna mungkin hidungnya sakit dia masih nangis kecil. Sampai akhirnya aku tanya kenapa dia nangis. Masih ga mau ngaku juga. Agak lama tuh, aku biarin sambil kelonin. Ga beberapa lama aku ubah pertanyaannya, "kakak kenapa sedih, cerita sama ibu, semua emosi di rumah ini diterima kak."

Setelah itu kakak langsung ga bisa tahan air matanya. Dia nangis agak kencang. Trus sesenggukan sambil tanya "bu, klo ada kertas masuk ke hidung bahaya ga?"

As a mom aku pasti panik dong ya, lalu aku pastikan itu benda masih ada apa ga di hidungnya. Sambil nangis dia bilang klo kertasnya udah masuk ke dalam. Dia rasa tuh bendanya ada dimana sambil nunjuk hidungnya. Aku tetap cek pakai senter lubang hidungnya.

Sambil ambil pinset terus aku steril di kompor pakai api panas. Pas aku cek lagi udah kosong kan tuh rongga hidungnya. Aku ga habis ide, langsung ambil infus, cuci hidungnya. Pikiranku saat itu cuma gimana caranya itu hidung bersih dari kertasnya. Karna biar kertas juga klo dibuntel-buntel kan besar ukurannya. Ku cuci iti hidung 2x, masih bersih. Kali ketiga kusuruh dia bersin yang keras. Auto keluar itu buntelan. Shock! Sebesar itu dong.

Bayangkan klo aku ga punya cairan infus di rumah. Bayangkan klo aku panik lalu ga mikir panjang. Untung kakak punya ibu yg masih bisa tenang di situasi genting juga.

Habis itu aku langsung peluk kakak. Takut banget dia trauma. Lalu aku nasehati kalau yang dia lakukan itu bahaya. Bahwa rasa ingin tau itu penting tapi harus pada tempatnya. Ga tau aja kakak pas dulu kecil ibunya suka masukin kacang goreng ke hidung. Trus dikeluarin sambil bersin. Dasar anak sensory seeker emang. Turun deh ke anaknya. Jadi berasa lucu aja kayak melihat diri sendiri. Bedanya dulu aku dimarahin habis-habisan sama ibu dan bapakku. Sekarang aku potong rantainya. Bahwa semua emosi di rumahku itu diterima.
