Hi love! I'm sorry about whatever happened, hope it's better now. And congratulations again for the followers, you deserve it all.

And my scenario... one of the few actually. (I got lots, but I'm sending one because yeah...I'm not the only one sending you stuff😂)

Anyway, I usually think about this scenario when something goes wrong in my life, which is... very often.

So for example, you fuck up a recipe and you start crying, then Argyle (obviously) comes in and asks what's wrong, what happened to his pretty dude and you explained and show him the ugly dish. But he wants to prove to you It's not that bad so he takes a big bite and (clearly) pretens it's the most delicious thing in the world. You try to make him stop because you know, you know, it tastes bad, but he keep going and make the impression of a food critique and just makes you laugh because he's too extra. Then he offer to make pizza together and just keeps make you laugh all night.

Pinneaple Upside-Down Cake

"OH MY GOD!"

Argyle quickly ran out of your bedroom and into the kitchen when he heard you scream.

"What? What's going on? What's wrong? Are you okay?"

"No!" you said, frustrated.

If it wasn't because you looked like you were about to cry, Argyle would have laughed at the scene in front of him. Your tiny kitchen was a complete mess. Plates and ingredients were all over the place. You had flour all over your apron, clothes, and somehow your face too. Your hands were half white from the flour and half red from cherries. And the plate in front of you was the worst thing he had ever seen.

"What's wrong, gorgeous?"

"My cake is ruined!" you said, pointing at the mush in front of you.

"Um... what is that?" he asked, not wanting to make you more upset.

"It was supposed to be a pineapple upside-down cake" you told him, trying to unstick the pineapples from the pan with the caramel on and making them fall on top of the mushy mess.

"Why does a cake need to be upside-down?" he asked confused.

"No" you sighed, managing to get some pineapple slices off the pan. "You're supposed to start with the pineapples, cherries, and caramel for the topping and then the cake batter, and once it's baked you turn it around and it should look like this!" you said, frustrated, showing him a picture on a magazine of a perfect pineapple upside-down cake. Argyle looked between the picture and yours and it didn't even come close. Yours looked like a mushy vanilla cake with somehow burnt pineapples on top. "But I left it on the oven too long and the caramel is burnt and when I tried to flip it, the pineapple slices got stuck to the pan because of the burnt caramel! So not only did I mess up my cake, I ruined our only pan" you said, with a few tears rolling down your cheeks. "And it looks horrible! This was for Nancy's dinner party tomorrow!"

"Love, calm down, we can buy something for-"

"No! Nancy's cooking dinner and Steve is bringing his famous mac & cheese! I was supposed to bring dessert and now it's ruined!"

"Sunshine, it's okay-"

"No! It's not okay" you pouted and he walked closer to hug you. "You, Steve, and Nancy are always the ones to cook because Jonathan, Eddie, and I can't! I just wanted to help this time and... I thought you would like it because it has a lot of pineapples and-"

"I'm sure I'll love it" he insisted, hating to see you so upset.

"You can't eat it anymore, love. It's burnt and mushy and-"

"I'm sure it tastes fine" he said, pulling away from you and grabbing a fork.

"What are you doing?" you asked as he got closer to the cake.

"I'm gonna try it and prove to you that it is great" he said grabbing a piece with his fork.

"No! Love, I just told you it's burnt and soggy and-" you tried taking the fork away from him but he put it up, out of your reach. "Argyle!"

Before you could argue anymore or grab it from him he had taken the entire piece. You saw the expression on his face and you knew, you knew that it tasted horrible, but he quickly smiled at you.

"See? It's delicious" he said with his mouth still half full.

"You are a liar! That cannot possibly taste good-" you said, trying to take the fork away from him but he quickly pushed you away and grabbed the plate with the cake.

"No, no!" he said, taking more forkfuls of cake and eating them quickly.

"Argyle!"

"It is so good!" he said with his mouth full and smiling at you. "I mean really, the texture of the cake and then the sweetness of the pineapples it's just... perfect" he said before he swallowed. "Five stars, love! You are the best baker in the world" he said, making you laugh a little.

"I can't believe you just did that" you said with a smile on your face.

"What? Eating the delicious cake that my beautiful girlfriend just baked?" he asked as if it was obvious.

"Love, I can smell the burnt caramel from here-"

"I love burnt caramel" he shrugged.

"And the cake is all soggy and mushy-"

"Yeah! With pineapple juice, which is my favorite" he argued. You smiled brightly up at him and placed your hands on his cheeks to bring him closer for a kiss.

"I love you so much" you said, making him smile back at you. "How do you always know how to make me feel better? Even when I just made what is probably the worst cake ever?"

"Because you were doing something nice for our friends and for me because you thought I would like an upside-down pineapple cake-"

"Pineapple upside-down cake" you corrected him.

"Whatever it was. I just love that you do these things for me" he told you.

"It's the least I could do, love. You always cook for me" you said, feeling your cheeks burn and looking down but Argyle gently lifted your face.

"I like cooking for you, sunshine" he admitted. "You basically do everything else and this is the one thing I get to do for you" he told you.

"Really?"

"Yes" he chuckled brushing his thumb against your cheek to remove some of the flour and gave you a small kiss. "Why don't I make a pizza for dinner and then we can both bake some brownies for tomorrow's party?" he suggested.

"You know we cannot add the Purple Palm Tree Delight to them, right?"

"Fine" he rolled his eyes. "They can be regular brownies" he said, making you laugh. "I love you, sunshine" he said, kissing you again.

"I love you too" you smiled.
