yes, quackity confessed to rubius and i am not gonna argue that he genuinely meant it.

but I am definitely gonna argue that while he did develop feelings for rubius and his reckless and mischievous nature at the very beginning of karmaland (because he was the perfect match to his own chaotic personality), he also developed strong feelings for luzu as time went on.

I think it was just perfectly bitter how the first interaction we had with luzu and quackity in today's finale was luzu teaching him vegettas song which he already knew and he HAD covered in front of them cause that was one of the first interactions they had that started the whole "omg maybe they could be a thing". (I also think it's canon that it's at that point where quackity started developing feelings for luzu as it was the same day luzu gifted him the pinnaple and I do believe luzu developed feelings a little bit before).

The time quackity was hooked onto the truth machine yes he could have been answering the first question which was are you in love with someone while thinking about rubius but I also don't think there was a mistake when sapo peta specified his question adding luzu and it showing quackity was lying, at that point I think he was just too emotionally overwhelmed that everything regarding his feelings was mixed up cause then he did explain he considered luzu his 100%.

So when he confessed and he said he was thinking about rubius yes could be true cause he remembers loving someone but since his memories were wiped away the only person to fill that space is rubius.

Realistically though, Astarion is AS LIKELY to follow in the pattern of abuse as he is to rise above it. Both happen, all the time.

He's as likely to be sex-repoulsed as he is to reclaim his sexuality.

He's as likely to never heal from his inferiority complex as he is to overcome it.

He's as likely to treasure Tav and put them in unatteinable pedestal as he is to grow bored of them.

He's as likely to manipulate them as he is to communicate with them.

EVERY possibility is equally likely, because YOU chose how you play and how you interpret him - which is why people should'n't try to tell others which one is 'the right one'.

NO AA FANS CARE HOW YOU VIEW ASCENDED ASTARION. We don't. And by "don't care" I mean it isn't an issue. It doesn't bother anyone. Most of us want everyone to enjoy their game however they please. If that means seeing it as an abuse narrative, that's your thing! I don't speak for everyone obviously, but for most of us I can confidently say...

We don't care if you view him as an abusive POS who's every word is a lie to Tav--except when he says he would use their love.

We don't care if you view him as going back and forth between being sincere and succumbing to his paranoia.

We don't care if you view him as a monster with an entirely different personality who will never be the "sweet boy" he was before.

We really don't.

What DO we care about? When you take that view and say that it is the ONLY CORRECT view. That anything outside of that view is just a headcanon that we can enjoy, but we have to remember that canonly it's "untrue".

I am so tired of people telling me how *my* Tav feels and her dynamic with her own husband in *my* playthrough. I view each playthrough as its own universe, or branch of the "multiverse" in their world. So maybe the AA you know in your playthroughs is that way, but the one I have in mine who's paired with my Tav is NOT that way.

But no matter how much I or anyone says that, many people will always default to thinking it's "not canon" so none of it matters anyway. I just wish there was more respect all around.

Today was a decent day I didn’t eat a whole bunch and was I under 600 after working out so I was able to eat a little bit when I got home.

I was pretty exhausted at practice but it’s okay because I pushed through.

I need some extra support and reminders but I’ll get there. I mean weighing the most on the team for the girls is good enough. Because I hate it literally so much. I feel so big and heavy on the mat. But I’ll get to my goals soon.

Idk why but I feel like the numbers are wrong. I feel like I ate so much more than I did. But all that is what I had. But it’s okay bc imma chug some water read then go to sleep! Goodnight pretty people! Just remember your progress is valid and isn’t ruined by one bad day <3
