i wore a headband i crocheted to volunteering today and one of the clients said she really liked it and asked me if i could make one for her. she's a 63 year old lady who loves pink and glitter... so i'm making her one in barbie pink and golden glitter yarn and i'm going to sew sequins onto it & i'm planning to giftwrap it and surprise her with it next week :) some people have barely any relatives or friends or acquaintances at all but everyone deserves a little sign of affection and warmth sometimes

Some kinds of decorations and things I desperately want to have something like set up at work for vday but idk if they'll b on board w it so I gotta ask but gotta sorta have some examples but not too many...
#they may say ok cause they did boh stuff for christmas (stockings w tms names on them etc) and some stuff on the sales floor like bows#and a tree with fake presents. so theoretically they might be ok with floral having some sort of decor for one of our 2 biggest holidays...#maybe not the tablecloth lol#but id like a garland type thing behind the counter and on the wrapping station and balloons or something at that too#and like hearts something somewhere at least#i want to get into the spirit of it and have fun at work. its gonna b stressful but also exciting!! and fun!!#i wanna embrace that and regional isnt sending us any pink or red vases only clear so id like to have the department have some vday flair#like the week or 2 before the holiday?? like the other departments have some stuff??
