Idk if your familiar with Janell Cannon but I would love to see a Warriors book with illustrations similar to hers. (She made books like Stellaluna, Verdi, Crickwing and Pinduli. Feel free to look up her illustrations for reference)

Okay. I don’t quite remember what it’s actually called, but there was one picture book series about a Siamese cat who thought he was a chihuahua. Might be Skippy John Jones???

Also, I think there was a picture book about a hyena called Pinduli??

Both of those have been pretty seared into my brain.

last song i listened to: Graves by Whiskey Shivers. One of my favourite songs, especially since it's helping me with writing a fanfic I'm working on at the moment.

currently watching: Rewatching all of Taskmaster since that silly little competition show means everything to me and picks up my spirit whenever I watch it.

currently reading: Thinking about rereading the Darth Maul comic run since I figured that might help with sparking some ideas with the man. Or at least give me inspo in putting out the one fic involved with him being a sex repulsed asexual.

current obsession: If you're following my AO3 account, you know I've been switching between Resident Evil and anything involved with Sandman since they've been occupying my mind - RE over a year and a half and Sandman for nearly a year at this point. Also me getting a bit involved with FFXV: Kingsglaive bc of my love for Nyx lol.

14. do you ever mark/dog ear books you own?

I dog ear but I haven't been brave enough to highlight or write in a book. I don't begrudge ppl that do tho!

OOOOOF I'm not gonna remember all of them that I'd want to share. There's literally so many there's a good change this list isn't definitive. But. (Taking this question as like, little kid books?)

1- Stellaluna, Verdi, and Pinduli by Janell Cannon - these 3 are grouped together bc I'd always read them all at the same time. Wonderful pics and writing. Very calming. 10/10

2- Bernstein Bears as a whole

3- Any animal/dinosaur book ofc bc I was Just Like That

4- Button Soup (a disney book). Always made me hungry.

5- The sister and I did enjoy a Dr. Suess as small children. Have distinct memories of the Cat in the Hat and Hop on Pop and the Lorax.

I really can't jive with Stephen King books. I tried. I couldn't make it thru IT. Or another. I just can't man idk why
