Realistic bug pokemon

Think it’s bout time I introduce myself proper, eh?

okay. yo. I’m Guzma, hence the username. He/him pronouns 💯. I’m the strongest fuckin trainer in Alola and my favorite thing to do is beating down PUNKS with my dope-ass crew, Team Skull. Bug is the best type of pokemon, so i’ll prolly comment on your bug types if you got any of your own. (and you SHOULD.) You got any complaints about any of that, you talk to ME. also, i’ll try to update this if there’s ever anythin to add.

That’s all there is to say about me. Here’s a little bout my pokemon. None of em have names, but since ‘parently it’s common round here I might give em some eventually.

Golisopod’s my main man. my ace. been with me since I was a snot nosed punk myself. don’t play favorites with my guys but he’d be my favorite if I did. He’s real scary to other people but he’s chill when he ain’t battling.

Scizor’s always full of energy, which is real nice considerin how I found him. Don’t really know what happened with him, but he’s gotta lot of sun bleaching and scratches on his exoskeleton. He’s a lot smaller than most Scizor, but he thinks he’s smaller and lighter than he is so he likes to lay on me.

Masquerain’s an odd one. started followin me one day and didn’t stop till I offered them a pokeball. Flies faster upside down, which is hella weird. I wake up to them starin me down sometimes?? Pals with my Ariados.

Pincir’s prolly my smartest. mold breaker’s damn useful on him and he likes it when it trips up people we’re fightin. Real menace. Helps me with sudoku sometimes which is kinda fuckin scary.

Vikavolt’s protective and real good at trackin folks down and gettin me places. He never forgets a face or a place, so he’s my livin map. He likes bein scratched on the outside of his mandibles.

Ariados is real stocky and level headed, so he balances Masquerain out. His old trainer was real fuckin nasty to him so I beat him down and he gave me Ariados. he’s still kinda independent and makes his own webs to sleep in sometimes.

Joltik’s not one I bring out to battle, but I found her with Vikavolt. think they’re family so I had to get em both. she’s real sweet and I spend time with her sometimes when it’s real late and I can’t sleep. Gives me static electricity shocks by accident sometimes.

Venipede’s pretty new. got it on here a few weeks back from my pal Dashy. ‘pparently some bad guys dumped it at zeir gym door, so i’m tryna help it feel better for the time being. It’s real fast, and it goes for walks with me and Golisopod. Thinkin it might evolve sometime, so tryna prepare for that.

Just got a Nymble egg in the mail, so i’ll prolly be gettin one of those soon enough. Real hyped for it!

speakin of. If it’s needed, send any bug types needin care my way. Got plenty of space.

…One more thing. I’m the BEST fuckin bug type trainer out there, dammit. Remember that.

it seems to be a far-future relative to crawdaunt. it is part of the paradox hunters- a group of paradox pokemon that catch escaped paradox pokemon. it seems to specialize in intimidation

How would you care for a Scyther all the way to Scizor?

Scyther is a bit aggressive, and is very proud. Make sure to give them space to exercise, as they value their speed in high regard.

If you wish to be affectionate with your Scyther, some custom shops make blade guards to cover the blades on your Pokemon. It is an expensive process since they have to be fitted to your specific Pokemon’s needs, but it gives you a way to interact with sharper Pokemon with less risk of injury. I do recommend them. Some shops will even let you customize the blade guards, with different colors and designs! Before it evolved, my Scyther had a green one with leaves on it.

These Pokemon can be a bit territorial, so if you have any other Pokemon it is a good idea to introduce them early on, so they can get used to them. You can also take them to Poke Parks for socialization, but only do so if you know how to control them. You don't want an aggressive Scyther running loose in public, someone could get injured.

Scizor is a bit more calm, but still moderately aggressive. They will need space as well, but I reccomend filling it with toys and activities. This Pokemon enjoys to use its pincers, and craves enrichment. I recommend punching bags, Pokemon stacking blocks, and treat cubes.

This Pokemon’s social habits vary depending on how they were socialized. Those that don’t have good socialization tend to be reclusive, using the markings on their pincirs to intimidate their way out of the situation. Those who are socialized can still be a bit anti-social, but will at least humor the interaction.

Both Pokemon are carnivores, and have a high prey drive. To prevent them from running off and disrupting the local wildlife, feeding them through hiding food toys can be used to simulate hunting. Use fresh meat, or high quality meat kibble if you’d rather not use meat.

These can be difficult to train and raise, but their loyalty is more than worth it.

From the mists and shadows emerge beings of myth and legend, brace yourselves for rare encounters with these brand new fakemon from @startistdoodles ! With sincerest greetings and threats from Lamauger and Vindisect!

Lamauger possess powerful psychic abilities, utilizing them to monitor their territories for anything that would disrupt the balance in the region. They float along winds that are natural or caused by their psychic powers. They formed from the scales of an ancient and long dead Pokémon, and the three of them zealously guard the secret locations of its scattered fossils.

These Pokémon have a relationship with Vindisect, as it acts as their enforcer. Vindisect hunts down and eliminates its targets and enemies, spraying them down with acid that contains a high concentration of vinegar, and finishes them off painfully with its claws and pincirs. This Pokémon has a long memory, and rarely forgives slights made against it, meaning sometimes the Lamauger must step in and battle it to keep it from going on a rampage. It’s origin is unknown.

Epilogue!

Skeeter’s journey was finally over. It was a journey full of determination, vengeance, acceptance, forgiveness, and Osha violations, but finally it was over. The trainer returned to the island research lab to plan out his next journey. But what happened to the other actors in our story?

-Bronze the Pincir didn’t participate in many battles, but still gained enough experience to return to the Goldenrod park a god among bugs. Bug catchers would tell legends of the elusive “Bronze Beetle” for years to come.

-Orchid made their mark on the fashion industry, staring in many commercials featuring children’s back to school clothing. Not a day goes by that their feet are not lit by the flashing of Velcro sneakers.

-Hero, always the vigilant and stalwart pokemon, joined a fire brigade. He quickly rose through the ranks, gaining a reputation of rushing into danger when others hesitated, unafraid of even a Charazard’s flames!

-Duster returned home to route 30 stronger than he had ever hoped to become. Though he lived a modest life, the Butterfree taught many a starting trainer to respect bugs just as his master did.

-On the way back to his forest, Mortar became sidetracked by the Goldenrod department store. With the aid of an interpreter, he works as a cashier... Nobody saw that coming but he seems happy, so nobody asked.

-Nanna’s kindness and grandmotherly traits led her to seek out children. They work at the island sanctuary as a “poison type ambassador” to teach the younger generation not to be so afraid of scary looking pokemon.

-Gawain’s reign of destruction was so vast and so violent that even the narrator dares not speak of it. That poor intern was never seen again... without Gawain holding his hand. /// ///

And what of Cheer you may ask? He’s right here by my side! We make for Unova tomorrow morning!

Darlain Photodex Entry 3

“Decided to take a rest and camp out in the park grounds, and Light, did it pay off! Pokemon behave very differently at night, and with the help of some food, I really got some amazing things on camera!

I was woken up by the the thunderous steps of a Torterra herd, and this mischievous little Scorbunny catching s break on it’s back! I swear the guy was showing off! Torterra, however, seemed deep in sleep, I couldn’t rouse it anymore than Scorbunny here.

A little buzzing behind my ear and quick reflex scored me this great pick! I think she had mistaken my scarf for a flower, but at least she was happy to see me! She was zipping off to the flowers soon after, always busy, these Combees!

That Grooky from before nuzzled up against a Torterra  with it’s little Pichu friend! This was incredibly adorable and i’m glad I didn’t wake the little dears. It seems small creatures might flock to Torterras for shelter around here, sleeping around the herds to avoid predation?

These Caterpie were startled by my movement, hiding themselves behind the park sign, a good idea, I completely missed seeing them. Any birds would be hard pressed for find an angle to see them! I considered myself lucky they didn’t fire a string shot at me, though, would have taken awhile to get all that silk out of my ‘air.

Finally caught a Hoothoot on camera and I managed to get a very rare shot! Scared the poor thing into revealing it’s other leg, which is usually brought up within its feathers while its roosted. Thankfully it recovered alright!

“I brought some fluffruit out with me, and laid down some on the trails, see if I could bait some pokemon into the perfect feeding shot. Imagine my surprise when a giant Pincir lumber down the path and helped herself! They always look so angry in the shots i’ve seen of them, so I was excited to get this shot! I wasn’t prepped for what came next, though...

Right after I headed up the hill to the lake, I heard a bashing sound and I was shocked to see a Heracross had flown in and started attacking the Pincir! I guess it must have noticed the food and flew in, only tosee Pincir had snatched his meal! They’re both pretty hardy pokemon though, so this was more of a show fight!

The Bidoofs finished their dam! I was even able to walk across it over their fish trap, and this little guy popped up to say hello! I congratulated them on being homeowners, goodness knows i’m a way off from that myself!

I saw something glowing on the horizon, and was shocked to see two glowing Swanaa flying around the Lake. Professor Mirror was ecstatic to get such a  clear shot of the Illumina phenomenon, he said he’d be including it in his research paper, and that earned myself a spot on the accreditation for it! 

Murkrows are fairly territorial, and somewhat impish creatures, so their first instinct upon seeing me was to try and pick a fight. I had distracted them from something they were looking at behind this Torterra, I wasn’t quite expecting something this amazing, though...

Sylveon! I’ve never seen on in the wild before, and with good reason. Only a proximity to Fairy pokemon will trigger an evolution in Eevee... I suppose all those Comfeys and the Florges must ‘ave done the trick! I let her sleep, but not without sneaking a shot. My ‘eart is pounding!

Just as I was heading back down the path, I realized this little guy had been trailing me the whole way. I gave him a little wave, and he scurried to a nearby crystalbloom and something.. strange happened, the plant opened up and illuminated the Scorbunny in blue, and he hopped right on top of the trail sign and started firing off some blaze kicks, only the fire was giving off the same glow! The professor examined this shot with a fine toothed comb, excited at the idea that illumina could effect moves like that.

I think i’m pretty good at this. We’ll be staying in the area for awhile, so i’m gonna try to get some really rare shots over the next few days. Wish me luck!

Making an alien biosphere

Hello people of tumblr! I am going to be making an alien biosphere! Ill copy earth's atmosphere and sun bc fruck u those are hard to make. Ive been drawing multiple creatures which could live on this theoretical planet,so lets start. We need two body types,so we'll have diversity once we're finished. A sessile creature(sessile creatures cant move or move very slowly) and a motile creature(motile creatures are the usual animal they move and all that). Since our sessile organism cant move,lets make it a filterfeeder,and since filterfeeding favors a large surface area,we'll do that,maybe tentacle like limbs that end in a leaf like shape. They'll have a tough shell,likely made of rocks glued together by larvae. It'll sit on hill like rocks in the waters to catch microorganisms carried by the currents. Now for the motile organism. It'll be crab like,several tough plates cover its body. It has needle like limbs which end in two stinger like appendages which fuse and form something similar to a pincir. It'll have long eyes for spotting carrion(dead things) and avoiding predators. Its mouth parts are like the mandibules of an insect and its legs are skinny,used for anchoring onto rocks when the waves beat. A lobster like tail for propelling through the water and a sack beneath the tail(only females have this) for holding larvae until theyre ready to metamorphose into adults. This is the first of many posts detailing the life on this planet. By the way,for the names of the creatures,phyla,species names and all that ill be taking suggestions from the comments! Cya!

Personally I like to think he'd have a Golisopod(so I'm training a wimpod from the previous game) and Pincir. The others I just wanna train period. I neglected them in the my earlier playthrough umu

Ok so an art amino I'm on has a challenge right now to turn your zodiac into a pokemon. I'm a cancer, so this cute little crab came to be! Pancer (Pincir + Cancer) is water/psychic type.

A sensitive pokemon with mild empathic abilities, Pancer will quickly become distressed should it's friends be upset. Activity levels of this pokemon seem to increase with different phases of the moon, reaching their peak at the full moon.
