Intelligence part 1.5 (its the first half of part two,writer's block's a bish)

A few galactic days have passed since the capture of the humans. They were put in a sort of terrarium that looked like a city. None of the humans felt good,they felt scared,as you would if a 12 foot tall rat with tentacles erupting from its shoulderblades captured you and six other people. The researcher assigned to them didnt understand,why werent they comfortable? They remade the stone wilds of their world perfectly! Nothing was inaccurate! After a while of being studied,the humans looked awfully pale. Was it the lack of sunlight? Was it a disease? . After a few studies the culprit was found.

Making an alien biosphere

Hello people of tumblr! I am going to be making an alien biosphere! Ill copy earth's atmosphere and sun bc fruck u those are hard to make. Ive been drawing multiple creatures which could live on this theoretical planet,so lets start. We need two body types,so we'll have diversity once we're finished. A sessile creature(sessile creatures cant move or move very slowly) and a motile creature(motile creatures are the usual animal they move and all that). Since our sessile organism cant move,lets make it a filterfeeder,and since filterfeeding favors a large surface area,we'll do that,maybe tentacle like limbs that end in a leaf like shape. They'll have a tough shell,likely made of rocks glued together by larvae. It'll sit on hill like rocks in the waters to catch microorganisms carried by the currents. Now for the motile organism. It'll be crab like,several tough plates cover its body. It has needle like limbs which end in two stinger like appendages which fuse and form something similar to a pincir. It'll have long eyes for spotting carrion(dead things) and avoiding predators. Its mouth parts are like the mandibules of an insect and its legs are skinny,used for anchoring onto rocks when the waves beat. A lobster like tail for propelling through the water and a sack beneath the tail(only females have this) for holding larvae until theyre ready to metamorphose into adults. This is the first of many posts detailing the life on this planet. By the way,for the names of the creatures,phyla,species names and all that ill be taking suggestions from the comments! Cya!

Making an alien biosphere 2

Hello people of tumblr! I am once again here with making an alien biosphere,today we have cladistics!

Since i havent gotten a name for the body plans yet,ill call them sessile and motile. The sessile could evolve larger feeding arms,possibly similar to tentacles. Maybe they could develop stomachs to be herbivores. These stomached sessiles will likely live in warmer waters of the planet,where algae and plants prosper. But staying still is hard for herbivores,so maybe they could adapt their shells previously used for protection to fill them with gas like the early chepalopods of earth. These sessiles are now motile,but are still slow,imagine a nautilus. The large surface area could be shrunken so the tentacles can dig into the ground to uproot plants and guide them to the mouth. Most of their eyes dissappear besides the ones on two tentacles,which could be used as eye stalks. I will call these animals semi-motiles.

Now onto the motiles. The pincirs could grow in size,to shatter shells of prey. their legs also grow in size,to better allow swimming capability. Their tails start looking like flippers and their mandibules get stronger to chomp prey.

There could also be a group of sessiles who adapted to take the niche of lurking predators. So they too develop stomachs. But they can just wait for prey to come by. When prey runs low,they will use the ability their cousins use and fill their shells with gas to move,but then they will quickly release the gas to go down.

Again,onto the motiles. A group could evolve to be prey,so they become omnivorous to feed on carrion(dead things) but also plants. Their mandibules get sharper to cut plants. Their pincirs get duller,being used to grab food. They dont really need their tails,so they internalise them. Being long would be a disadvantage,so they shrink and become crab like.

STORY TIME BOIS AND GURLS

story numbah 1:

During flu season,some kids in my school would buy the entire box of breath masks from the pharmacy and sell them at a higher price! One breath mask is usually 50 bani(romanian money) but they sell them for 1 leu!( 50 bani times 2) during every flu season they do this and get a lot of money

Story numbah 2:

Theres a dude in my class who constantly keeps a hat on during class. He does this because "people will laugh at his big ears" but no one's ever seen his hair or ears,its really strange ngl

Story numbah 3:

When i was like i think in grade 0,a kid in my class shit his pants. No not the "oh shit i shit my pants" one,the "oh shit theres no toilet at school im gonna shit my pants" one,it was the first day of school and he didnt know the school had a toilet.

Story numbah 4:

When i was younger i used to do "food combinations" aka a chip between two cheetos,a bunch of pixie dust on a mini cake,chip extravaganza,etc. People in my class tought i was gross but i didnt care. Chip extravaganza was my favorite ngl.

So,in the beggining of "intelligence" i explained that my posts basically happen in a multiverse. This post is here to explain

So around the time humans descovered fire,there were made two things,a universe in wich other humans accepted fire,and one in wich they were basically horrified that they could create a destructive force. In these two universes,fire was used in different ways. To cook food and all that in the fire acceptance universe,and as a mere weapon in the fire fear one. The fire acceptance universe went as normal. But the fire fear universe is drastically different. Fire is used to burn trees and chase prey out of forests. Since fire was so useful,the fire fear humans basically adapted to using fire and to resist heat,thats all,they literally just resist heat better. The fire fear humans hadnt made spears and other tools,just torches for fire. Meanwhile,in the fire acceptance universe,humans were making tools and weapons. Ill call the humans in the fire fear universe "firelings" and the fire acceptance humans "toolies". The history of the toolies was the same. While the history of the firelings was as stated above. The firelings did manage to build cities,but their society was based around fire. The ziiru war is in the fire acceptance universe,while intelligence is in the fire fear universe.

ANOTHER NEW SERIES, YIPEEE

this one's a httyd au where the dragons are actually birds and can indeed be intelligent and is written as a guide for draconid riders by a character i call Herald

for all the inhabitants of berk know, theyve been fighting with the draconids. gigantic birds which spit stomach acid similar to the dragons of myth. but these behemots are not myth, they are reality. and have diversified in the northern hemisphere where they reign. Draconids are descendants of the "acid" spitting vultures,their large wingspans and ferocious nature have turned them into the perfect bird of prey. most draconids are carnivores, with a few exceptions like the bumbling runner which uses its stomach acid to burn through the hard outer casing of wood to get to the good parts. the draconids are split into 4 main groups,those being runners, swimmers, flyers and the inbetweens. for the first three you can guess what they do, but for the inbetweens its rather weird. inbetweens share caracteristics of all other groups and it is belived the other three descend from the inbetweens. the largest draconids reaching the size of trees(but of course theyre too heavy to fly or even jump) and the smallest being as big as a newborn chicken. some draconids like the red bumbler have been domesticated(either for their acid, their eggs or their feathers) yet most are not. its considered taboo to even think about riding a flying draconid. some tribes ride draconids, but only runners. but as a founding father of taming flying draconids, i,Herald the cuckoo(name given by the members of my village who consider me crazy) will write this book to help new tamers with their draconids
