Our Family Trip to Baguio! 🍓⛰️🌻🌲☕ My family and I went to Baguio to have some fun and good food! My brother's partner, @novzaragon was with us on this trip. Isaw is basically barbequed chicken intestines while the Tokong is... You guess it right, pork intestines! Now don't let the word "intestines" throw you off because these delicacies are basically the most tastiest parts of the animal innards - who are by the way, also popular in other southeast Asian countries. kwek-kwek is actually deep fried quail eggs with orange collored batter while Dynamite is long green chilis with cheese and minced meet inside wrapped with lumpia wrapper. It is similar to a mexican street food.  There are so many beautiful places here in the Philippines like Luneta Park, Palawan, Cebu, Puerto Prinsesa, Boracay and etc. You will really enjoy the viewing the scenery. I assure you that you will appreciate  everything that you will see here. One of the best place here in the Philippines is the City of Smiles- Bacolod City.

 Bacolod, city, Northwestern portion of the island of Negros, Philippines. On a coastal plaine  washed by Guimaras Strait, it lies opposite Guimaras Island and has been called the Philippine sugar capital because of its central location within the nation’s most important sugar-producing area. Bacolod’s growth began after 1800, when it was first used as a convenient gathering point for traffic bound for Iloilo, on the island of Panay. With subsequent development of the sugar plantations, it became Negros’ most populous urban area and a regional trade centre. Its outport, Pulupandan, is situated to the south along the main coastal highway and is an important fishing port.

The city’s rectangular street pattern is unusual among Philippine coastal communities. Bacolod is served by a major airport, the provincial hospital, and the private University of Negros Occidental-Recolestos (1941). The large provincial capitol building is set amid spacious landscaped grounds, and an old stone church and convent are in the central square. Imposing residences of wealthy planters are on the city’s outskirts.

Standing tall over a clean garden is the skeletal frame of an old mansion that was built during the Spanish colonial era but burned by guerilla forces under American command during World War II.

The majestic Ruins in Talisay City is visited by throngs of tourists every day in addition to the regular events bookings. The photogenic Ruins was inspired by Italian architecture and is now a highly popular venue for weddings, receptions, and other events.

Mambukal Hot Springs Resort in the municipality of Murcia has several pools including a sulfur dipping pool and a Japanese Ofuro that help in relaxing muscles and stimulating blood circulation.

The resort also has various amenities and activities like a spa, trekking to Mambukal's many waterfalls, a butterfly garden, and bat watching since the area is home to thousands of bats.

The boating lagoon in the Mambukal Hot Spring Resort allows for kayaks and rowboats to just float gently down the stream while inhaling the fresh air from the mountain forest.

Also the they have a festival, Masskara Festival that is annual celebration that symbolize of laugh and smile where Bacolod  is well known. The celebration is held every 3rd week of October.

In Bacolod City, not only their places, food are the best here also the people who living there. They are all cheerful. They love to smile and laugh so that Bacolod City called the CITY OF SMILES.
