I'm rather curious about your aus, you see I've managed to keep an Undertale rp going with my friend for about two years by basically taping on one au after another but we are starting to run out. What can you tell me about yours?

Well. I would explain to you Cavetale... But, its a pretty long story. But long story short. Cavetale's basically a glitched au. Its suppose to be a simple Undertale timeline, but it messed up, Chara has the power to save, Frisk doesn't. And basically everyone has a crystal exposure thing-. Icecreamtale, is peettu easy, its just an au about icecream. But that au is erased by error. I got Papertale, which is based on Mario and Luigi Paperjam, where monsters are trapped inside a book and Frisk tries to save them. Holotale is an au after a genocide. Alphys and the remaining monster return after Frisk left. Alphys makes holograms/robots of her dead friends. Floweytale, is a au after a neutral run, where Flowey becomes king. Roleshift is just the character switched. Like Sans is switched with Undyne, Pap is switched with Alphys (same for Alphys and Undyne) chara is switched with Toriel, Asriel is switched with Asgore, (Same with Toriel and Asgore). Breadtale is just a beead au (aka my favorite). Pikmintale is an au based on Pikmin. Aaaannnnddd I thinks thats all the aus I have!

How did you decide on Frisk's personality? Did you base it off things from the original game or just kind of make up something new? Amazing AU btw! one of the best ive seen!

Frisk’s personality just kind of... happened, to be honest. At first I worked with some of the flavor text as a basis, like the flirting, their general over the top actions like wiggling their hips at slime and waving their arms to conduct-- it’s clear they’re a very expressive kid in battle, despite the perpetual -_- face on their sprite. Though I also noticed that given certain act/dialogue options, they have the potential to be quite sassy and even mean on occasion (the insult option for Snowdrake comes to mind.) So I wanted to strike a balance- write a character who wants to be good, but makes mistakes, can be rather impulsive and even a little selfish, and isn’t afraid to ask questions and give snarky quips.A lot of people write Frisk as this sweet, pure character, but with IF, I wanted to write a character with layers. Someone who wouldn’t immediately leap to a murder spree, but someone with faults and room to grow. Their personality and backstory kinda developed the more I worked on the comic, and... well.Stay tuned, because I plan to give some more insight on our dear protagonist in the near future.
