Where do each of your names come from?

:3 So!! Aloe is shortened + modified from Aloysius, The Name I chose for myself when I first discovered I was trans like eight years ago (people shortened it to Alo, and I loved that it reminded me of the plant, so sometimes I add an E [hence my art signature being ALO(E)]). This is what I consider my Real Name, if I have to pick one

Aither is my very favorite character from my favorite shitty anime gacha game. He's the one in my profile pic rn!! I just admire how enthusiastic and positive he is, and I love his transmasc swag (he originally was designed to be a girl, but the devs changed his gender shortly before launch)

Red is my favorite character from Four Swords Adventures, a silly Legend of Zelda manga about a hero being split into four different people. They each go by color names, and Red is really sweet

Ra is one of my favorite bands, and I loved the name. I'm genderfluid, and this is the name I most associate with being a man :D

Oracle is the name I usually use for in video games, inspired by oracle decks (similar to tarot cards!). It always throws people off, and they go 'wait why is your character an oracle'. This is also my most feminine name!

Kafei is a character I love from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (a game I ADORE). I just think he's neat!

and Arc is just short for Arcadian-Vampire. I used to go by Pika when my url was Pikapi-Chu, so it seemed fitting (this is why my personal post tag is pikaposts!)

Ah I saw you talking about favorite Pokemon!! Mine are Alolan Vulpix, Sylveon, and Nihilegooooooo. Rock type isn't really my thing, but jellyfish are so super cool! ❤

i have a whole sylveon plushie collection!!! nihilego is also my favourite ultra beast i think :D (and stakataka) alolan vulpix is cool as well but i think i prefer regular vulpix... fire bias strikes again. oh also my favourite type is steel!

HOO DONT DIE....thank u!! i really like doing this whole post-succession thing bc its a good option for running away from a scary arc (lol) and giving kurapika some lower stakes trouble with the troupe no longer in his reach...whether its because he really eliminated most/all of them or became too weak prior to that is up in the air lol all that matters is illumi gets into that bodyguard role..

i dont really depict the partnership as something that drags kurapika down, rather it inadvertently pulls them both up \o/

illumi is somebody kurapika could see parts of himself reflected in while hes at his lows, and he’d make a moral judgment on himself with this rather than be like Oh Yea Emotional Irregularities arent inherent evil. but in a very laborious way it would help kurapika learn to humanize himself? and look at his sensitivities

and just as well...illumis already testing out a path of self determination but its kind of dangerous since his major influences are still core zoldyck, having somebody like kurapika have an impact on that would be an improvement without having to turn it into a whole unnatural Redemption Arc thing

In your Nanbaka Pokemon sprite edit, the 4 boys have 4 Pokemon- so I'm curious, what Poke did they each bring? I mean I see the caption says Nico has an Oddish but I'm curious abt the other dudes

Nanbaka’s author, Shou Futamata (@ArukaRider on twitter) did a series of art with some of the nnbk characters with some pokemon!

Nico has an Oddish, Rock has a Gengar, Uno has a Corsola, and Jyugo has both a Swadloon and a Litten! Since there’s only 4 pokes in that art, Jyugo brought his Litten, since Nico already has grass type covered.

Honestly, I wouldn’t have thought to pair Rock with Gengar but they are perfect for eachother <3

In regards to ur question abt kpika using an inflatable dolphin to properly conjure their dolphin pal- no ❤. That's embarrassing. Clearly they looked at dolphin pics on google images, then made a lil paper maché dolphin w a cool visor and needle gun things on its fins

that’s why izunavi is on the boat. keep your friends close and people who are aware of your secret paper mache escapades closer
