Ever since @084392 made a post about the Pikachu clones having evolves I've been unable to stop thinking about it. My favourite Pikachu clone is Emolga, so I figured I'd give their evo a shot!

It was super fun to design Ampyre. I think they go looking for strong electric types to drain the electricity out of them. In my head they're as tall as the average persons hip. I really wanted to make them Electric/ghost, but I didn't want to lose Emolga's immunity to ground, so I gave them levitate as an ability.

Introducing Lintria, the Kadia region's not-pikachu! These little guys are capable of generating a large charge, but terrible at holding it. Lucky for them, the acid they secrete while losing a charge gets caught up in their shedding fur, making a great defense! Their design is based on Nutria rats-a south american water rat that's considered invasive in the pacific northwest-and acid-crusted batteries.

While the normal form is colored like a duracell battery, in the shiny i wanted to emohasize the white-blue crust colors of battery acid.

I Joined a Collab!

I had the opportunity to join a collaboration with a bunch of amazing artists, with our theme being Pokemon rivals!

I had a lot of fun doing my part drawing best girl Nemona on top of seeing everyone’s progress through to the finished product. I am unsure if everyone involved as a Tumblr, so I will also provide a link to the host’s instagram post where everyone will be listed. Please go check them out!
