Found these cool looking grubs in my front yard a bit ago!

(I’m not sure what they are because grubs that live underground look the same to me)

It's often not possible to ID a species just from a photo of the grub anyway! Cute babes either way :)

So I recently found out about this and I am not sure how exactly it works so I’m asking you this:

How does the life cycle of a telephone pole beetle work?

It's pretty complex and tbh I couldn't do a better job than wikipedia at explaining it! I'd recommend reading that and then if you have specific questions about it, I may be able to answer them.
