It's been awhile, huh? Long while. Like REALLY long while.

I'm going to be honest with you guys. I didn't think I would ever want to go back to this. This project started during a time where I clearly wasn't ready to be committed to a big project like how I envisioned thia Underswap take to be. A version of Underswap with it's own story, full sprite sheets, and sprite comic, and Tumblr Ask Blog, all that and having me dedicate ALL of my time to it when I had other life stuff happening at the time. The project was a mess and also sorta had a small affect on my mental health for awhile because the designs of the cast and the story could've been used for a completely original project, but I didn't have an original project idea at the time unlike now. I didn't just want to leave this thing in the dark and have it be more abandoned than it already is. But I don't want it to take up all of my time again either. Trust me. I had alot of idea that I eventually did use for my more original projects. But I do wish to come back to this blog every now and then and make the occasional post on the story and designs.

So here we are, some overworld sprites of the main cast of Pigsterswap/Pigster's Underswap. (Still the dumbest name for an Underswap take.)

The cast has been through alot of redesigns that I never showed off because they either looked like ass, I was procrastinating too much to show them off, or of course I didn't wanna work on the AU because of me being a dumbass teenager at the time.

But finally after several years. The cast's designs are done and are completely finalized for the most part with the story being rebooted and rewritten to have an... interesting... scenario.

Sorry for the long string of nothing and not promising any new stuff to come out immediately after this post. But I do hope you like the current designs of the cast.

can we expect to see 1. any au crossovers and 2. any concepts for au combinations (like flipfelled or flipswap)?

1.) I'm going to say yes. I want to do little short comic AU crossover things at some point. I think it could be fun having it crossover with random AUs like Underswap, Horrortale, Taletwist, etc. But I think I'd mostly do crossovers with some takes I have on other AUs to spice things up a bit. Believe me, I have quite a bit of takes I can use. That includes Pigster's Underswap. :)

I also want to crossover with a few of my friend's AUs, like Pentaswap, TCD! Alterswap, Underswap; Super Sigma, Fellswap; Wilted Kindness, and other AUs. You know. For fun.

2.) Oh yeah, definitely!!! I really want to make designs for Flipfell and Flipswapped. The problem is making the designs look original while still keeping the same vibe as the AUs they are being combined with if that makes sense.

Like say, Flipswapped Alphys. If she swaps with Undyne and is in Swap Sans's role, then I want to give her that Underswap Sans vibe and design. But copy pasting Swap Sans's design is kinda lame.

So I have an idea to give Alphys a Mew Mew inspired design and the Pink Floofy Hood that was on Flipflopped Alphys's jacket becomes a Floofy cape and Alphys wears those sharp cool looking Anime Glasses and have her do anime poses even in public. It sorta gives it that Flipflopped weirdness to what is a hyperactive Alphys.

Undyne is much harder to make a Flipswapped design for since there isn't much to work with to make an original lazy Undyne design. Maybe that could be the joke where Undyne's design is lazy because she's lazy. HAAAAAAA NO.

What was I talking about again? Oh yeah. Expect AU combination doodles in the future. I just need to make official artwork for the main cast before I start on those AU Combinations.

For Swap MH Bratty and Catty; you could look to the scrapped RG 03 and 04 battle concept for inspiration! Even if it doesn't end up remotely close to what you end up with, it could still get creative juices flowing, maybe! *thumbs up*

You know, originally in Undertale there were going to be two more guards, Royal Guard 03 and 04 with a Cat and some bug monster, and the way to spare them was to somehow take off their gloves and reveal the bracelets they had on underneath them, will leads RG03 being surprised that Royal GG04 kept the friendship bracelet they had when they were kids but due to some childhood drama they stopped being friends. Turns out RG03 kept her bracelet after all that time... (1/2)

So then the two made up and you were able to spare them, I'm pretty sure Toby removed then because they would've been just the Royal Guard 01 and 02 fights again. I don't know how this would work if this was Bratty and Catty, but I'm pretty sure you can come up with something better. You've always came up with them really cool stuff to fix a problem so I'm pretty sure you can think of something. :) (2/2)

since you two suggested the same thing I’ll answer both in one; this definitely gives me something to work with! I think for Bratty and Catty their conflict would much more short-term than 03 and 04′s, and given their personalities probably a pettier squabble too ahah

not sure on any specifics yet but this is a good start, I’ll keep thinking on it and I’m sure I’ll have it figured out by the time I get to drawing them :D thank you both!!

Yes I am planning to make sub AUs/ Combinations AUs of Super Sigma. Some people think that they are unoriginal and boring, but I actually like the concept of combining two different AUs into two. And I forgive you for your actions. But seriously, don’t ever do it again. And don’t call Super Sigma “Sigmaswap”. Call my AU either Super Sigma or Droidswap.

Is it about the Pigster's Underswap design thing? I got over that like months ago.

So I want you to understand that behind the scenes of your favorite Tumblrs, your favorite artists and people running the blog have lives outside of Tumblr and are likely dealing with the stress of School, College, Their Jobs, Family Drama, etc. And sending theme asks that's complaining about them not posting new content or calling them names, that's frankly unacceptable and you should never do that to anyone, you wouldn't like it if someone did it to you, would you?

I understand that you were in a bad mood and were cranky, so I'll forgive you for what you did, but please please PLEASE don't do that again to anyone else. Okay? But yeah I accept your apology. :)

Do the areas swap or are they the same like Underswap?

Well I don't know. In Underswap areas don't swap at all so they would likely be the same in Flipflopped but alot of things would be different due to the swaps, like new Puzzles in Snowdin, The Ruins being more Fabulous with pretty light and lanterns everywhere with the Ruins being darker I think, etc.

But some interations of Underswap use the old TS! Underswap areas.

Like Ruined Home, Sunnedout, Crystal Springs, and Coldsea (Which is so damn catchy by the way).

But I think for Flipflopped I might reuse the areas from my failure Underswap take, Pigster's Underswap, where it goes for the same theme but new seasons. For those who aren't aware of Pigster's Underswap and the areas. They go like this.

Ruins (Fall) -> The Catacombs or Hapstablook's Amusement Park of Wows and Wonders (Summer) (Yes Hapstablook turned the Ruins into an amusement park, I am not kidding.)

Snowdin (Winter) -> Fallout Woods and Fallout Town(Fall. Duh.)

Waterfall (Spring) -> Dry Ice Express (Winter) which was basically Ice Cap from Sonic 3 and TS! Underswap's old Coldsea but it's in an Ice Cave but it also had a high speed moving train section where Chara would fight Alphys on top of the Train.

Hotland (Summer) -> Pollen Plain + Spooky Sprint (Spring) which was like the Mushroom Areas from Kirby's Epic Yarn and Mushroom Hill Zone from Sonic & Knuckles. And Spooky Sprint was basically this tag team race thing that was Pacifist Route only where Chara would team up with Papyrus and go through a spooky mansion that turned Undertale in a Horror game.

So basically those were the areas in Pigster's Underswap but that was a failed Underswap take so I guys I could probably reuse them for Flipflopped but that's only if Underswap used the old TS! Underswap Areas. They would be pretty interesting if they were used here, but of course I would have to change some things to fit Flipflopped like Spooky Sprint not existing since "Napstabolt" isn't a thing here and Fallout Woods and Pollen Plains would be changed to be less generic looking.

I'd be down to bring them back if people wanted them to, but for now, I think altered versions of Undertale's areas is what we should go for, atleast for right now. :)

Does Alphys and Undyne like Mew Mew 1 or 2?

I've thought of this for quite a bit, but I'm going to say Alphys still like Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 1 WAAAAY more than Mew Mew Kissy Cutie 2 because she still hates how Mew Mew 2 completely ruins Mew Mew's Character Arc and that Mew Mew 2 is unnecessarily darker in theme than Mew Mew 1... (God I can relate to Alphys about certain franchises and their sequel problems.)

Undyne however really likes Mew Mew 2 more an Mew Mew 1, but she keeps it to herself so Alphys doesn't rant about how Mew Mew 1 is better than Mew Mew 2. Undyne agrees with Alphys on how Mew Mew 2 is Worse than Mew Mew 1 but as a movie on it's own, Undyne finds it pretty awesome. She even made some robots that were inspired off of some of the characters from Mew Mew 2, but when Alphys questions the designs of the robots, Undyne says it's a way to "Strike fear towards the humans who fall down and happen to despise Mew Mew 2." Even though Undyne just designed them like that because she thought it would look cool.

But yeah, that's what Undyne and Alphys think about Mew Mew 1 and 2. Hope you like that answer. :)

Can you give us an example of one of the new weapons Chara will find in your underswap?

Umm, sure. How about this...

This is probably the second weapon Chara will find in the Underground laying around in Asgore's house.

Safety Scissors.

Flavor Text: A small purple pair of scissors that are used the cut paper safely, but ironically can be a dangerous weapon that'll cut fights (or lives) shorter. Use these responsibly.

Effects: +3 AT

Counterpart: The Mint Sweater.

Associated Soul: ???

Attack Animation.

It's attack animations would have a target instead of the usual attacking box where there will have two circles going around the target in a mirrored movement, meaning if one circle flies to the top left part of the target, the other circle will go to the top right part of the target, basically copying eachother's movements in the opposite direction. Your goal to get the most amount of damage is to time both the circles to get as close to the center of the target as possible to deal the maximum amount of damage to the target. The farther the two circles are from eachother and the center target, the less amount of damage you'll deal.

If you manage to hit the absolute center of the target, then that's a critical hit and will do 4x the amount of Damage you will usually deal.

K, so if your Swap Papyrus and Sans were to be in there own Bad time trio team, who would be there teammates?

So I think I got this ask a few weeks after I revealed Papyrus's design and I still haven't forgotten this question... but I still don't know the answer to this.

I mean, I could put DJ! Papyrus in his own version of "The Swap Time Trio" (You know, the one with TS! Underswap Papyrus, The official/Cherry's Swapswap Sans, and Storyswap Color Asriel.)

I could do something like that with DJ! Papyrus being the leader, a "Pigster's Swapswap" Sans... I guess, and a Pigster's Storyswap Asriel I guess...

I actually do have designs for Chara and Asriel for a small little Storyswap take I made but never really made any other designs beyond Chara and Asriel so I would probably use those, and maybe I could make a Pigster's Swapswap Sans design just for fun. I'd imagine it would be like Canonswap Sans but I don't know, he would be an actor instead of a DJ or something, maybe a comedian. That could be cool. But I don't have any megalos for any of those characters, but that's probably how a Pigster's Bad/Swap Time Trio thing would work.

Same would go for for the "Good Time Swap"... Okay so I respect the guy who made the "Swap Time Trio" OST on Youtube, but I don't like the name "Good Time Swap" for what's basically the Underswap equivalent to "The Trio's Squabble" or what I call the "Trousle Time Trio." I don't know, the name "Good Time Swap" sounds like a bad "Engrish" title, I can't think of a better name that's not something like... "Terrificness Times(×) Three" or something dumb like that. But I'm sure there could've been a better name for them. But that's just my opinion.

Actually I have this headcanon thing that in "The Trio's Squabble" fight, Undertale Papyrus and Underswap Sans would fight with eachother over who gets to capture the human, WHILE they're fighting the human. Like The human could be in the Middle of dodging a Combination of Undertale Papyrus and Storyshift Asriel's attacks, but Swap Sans launches a Bone attack at Papyrus and launches him off screen while Sans takes the spotlight and attack the human and then Papyrus comes back and knocks Sans off screen back, and Asriel gets so annoyed with the two that he attacks UT! Paps and US! Sans to get them to stop fighting. It would be really funny to have that happen in a Bad Time Trio fight.

...so maybe for My Swap Time Trio that could also happen where DJ! Papyrus and SwapSwap Sans are fighting for the spotlight while Storyswap Asriel is trying to get the trio back on track. I would love that.

Anyway, sorry Anon that this ask took so long to answer and even though I still don't really know how to answer this, I hope you like the ideas I came up with. :)

DJ! Papyrus the Skeleton-

 The Egotistical and Quirky Younger Brother of Sans the Skeleton and Self Proclaimed “MASTER OF PRACTICALLY ANYTHING!!!” and “THE COOLEST OF DUDES, NO, THE COOLEST DUDE IN THE UNDERGROUND PERIOD!!!”

Papyrus is still the same Slapstick, Funny, Puzzle loving, Spaghetti Fanatic, that we all remember from Undertale but in this Universe, Papyrus gave up on joining this Universe’s Version of the Royal Guard, being the Royal Mages in this case (Yes there is a difference) after being being rejected multiple times, and decided to find other ways of being Popular by pursuing a Music type of Career and is now Fall-out’s DJ who works at Muffet’s Diner, although he is kind of a mediocre DJ, only making Mediocre variations of Bonetrousle and has an "Original" song called "PAPYRUS'S COOL SONG!!!". Papyrus is also Dr. Undyne’s occasional lab assistant, making and testing experiments that revolve around Spaghetti, Possible Explosions, and other wacky Experiments and Inventions, not only that but he is also Prince Asriel Dreemurr’s Babysitter and Best Friend who watches over the young prince and gets themselves into a bunch of wacky scenarios.
