I made a "little" comic to celebrate, featuring my boi Mono and Frisky's sweet lil gal Royelle, aka Noelle from Asgore Adopts Noelle!

This was really fun to make. And also a bit draining towards the end, but that's just how it goes I guess lmao. But regardless, I'm really happy with how this turned out. Hopefully y'all are, too!

Anywho, I got a bunch of other stuff I need to get to. My work is never finished...

So look forward to it!

Welcome, everyone, to the latest edition of ChristmAUs! This year's map was brought together thanks to the people, as always. It took a lot more elbow grease to put the credits together, but we always look to crediting everyone that's submitted.

IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Here, have some more recent Flipflopped artwork!!!

A HUGE DUMP of Character design reveals which consist of a Redesigned Frisk, Maddie's Redesign AND GHOST FORM, ROONEY, Gaster, Sour Puss, the Annoying Temmie, Undyne and Alphys's pet duck, and the "the rock that drifts you slowly across the hardly not-puddle" (Thanks Randomguyed for the name.) I hope you like these designs because they're officially official. :)

Now Tem for some members of the Temmie Bridade!!!!!!! Aka the Royal Guard. We got BOB replacing Doggo, the legendary Party Animal Beta Tem replacing Lesser Dog, and the leader of the Temmie Brigade, GREATER TEM!!! With a rocking hairband thing that looks oddly familiar and is accompanied by two other Tems. They're adorable little goobers.

Now for a Big one!!! FLIPFLOPPED TORIEL EX AND NEO!!!!! Swapping with Mettaton, Toriel now has an absolutely FABULOUS redesign and now sports an almost Fairy and Hatsune Miku themed design, and that's cranked up to eleven with her NEO form!!! Now sporting actual wings and a giant "Screw you laser of death." I am still working on her colors, but they're likely going to consist of Blues, Whites, Purples, and Golds. I hope you like her design because I LOVE HER.

Incase you can't tell... I really like drawing Flipflopped Alphys in my spare time... this artwork is also Canon by the way. :)

And lastly... oh... well I won't go into too much about this. I will later though, I just have some work to do right now.

But yeah, these are some good ol' canon doodles I made featuring a bunch of new designs. I hope you like them. :)

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO FLIPFLOPPED!! (+Massive Art dump.)

We finally made it guys. Flipflopped is officially one year old. It's honestly incredible how fast time has flew by. To be honest, I never thought the blog would ever make it this far. I didn't think I would've even made Flipflopped after the failure that was Pigster's Underswap and me trying to set all these goals and put in all this effort into a take on Underswap that was going absolutely no where.

But after pitching the idea of Flipflopped to a few friends and family. They encouraged me to expand on the idea of "Alphys and Undyne swapping with Sans and Papyrus" and this created Flipflopped. I am so happy that I made a blog for this AU, because to be honest. Making an original AU (Roleswap or not) is alot more fun than creating a take on another AU.

I wanna thank everyone who stuck around to see the AU grow and become an actual thing. Without Randomguyed, Gold, Ms. Tyous and many others helping me out, this AU wouldn't be the way it is now. You all are amazing and thank you so much.

But you probably want some content to celebrate the anniversary, don't you?

Well don't worry my friends, for this post. I will be sharing to all of you some of Flipflopped's oldest doodles and pieces of artwork, some artwork being cool little concepts for the AU that are still used in someway today, and even some old designs that didn't make the cut, and I will be giving some context to most of them.

So here are the doodles!!

Ahhh. This doodle is where Flipflopped all began. The idea of Papyrus swapping with Undyne in an AU is something I wanted to do since I first joined the fanbase and it was just a year ago that I tried making a design for said AU, and this is when Undyne got her first design for Flipflopped. It's incredibly simple and kind of boring, but I did like the colors for the armor even though there purple armor mixed with Undyne's colorful body made the design a little cluttered. But hey. Nothing's perfect in the first try.

Alphys had a few designs at first before getting the Flipflopped Alphys design we had now. The first image had Alphys's first ever design and was probably the weirdest design of the three where she had a BLUE jacket with Red and Yellow stripes on them with BLACK pants and also had Red stripes on them. Yeeeah I didn't know what I was thinking with the first design and ditched it immediately due to her looking like Classic Sans. Although the jacket in the first design was believe it or not, supposed to be there for the sake of making a Stranger Things reference... yeah, not the best idea. But you can see in the other two design ideas that I was trying to go with a more lab coat-ish design and the didn't work well either. Although. You can see in the second all the elements that eventually lead to Flipflopped Alphys's current design, and not to toot my own horn, but I feel like Flipflopped Alphys is probably one of the most fitting designs for Alphys is Sans's role.

As you can see here, Undyne's design changed again to have it resemble her Undying form a little bit but the problem was the colors were still all over the place, but you see how this will eventually become Flipflopped Undyne's current day design. I might touch up on the armor to make it look a little less like Underswap Sans's design and look more unique. Oh yeah, and Undyne has a tunic on because it was supposed to be a reference to Link's tunic for Zelda.

Hapstablook/ TonTon's design changed drastically because at first he was possessing a robot body like Classic Mettaton. I could've still gone with Robot Mettaton design still, but there was just one issue with Robot TonTon. The fact that there is absolutely no way TonTon would be able to get a robot body that would survive the test of time, and with Alphys not being the Royal Scientist in this universe, she wouldn't have enough knowledge in Science to give TonTon a robotic body. But I'm still happy with TonTon's ghost design.

The very first doodle of Frisk and their design even to this day is inconsistent. Lmao. This is also back before I made the change to make Ruins Dummy a Human in this AU instead of a Ghost. But I am still happy about the change... also ignore the fact Frisk doesn't have a nose in this doodle.

And here is Papyrus. He is actually very close to his current day design. The first time I showed this to my friends though, I didn't notice how I used Captain America colors, so they gave this design the nickname "Captain Papyrus".

A concept doodle of how Maddie's first encounter would go for a hypothetical Flipflopped comic. Oh yeah and it also uses the old Maddie design.

Unfortunately Tumblr kinda sucks so I'll have to show you more art in another post. But I hope you find these old doodles interesting. There's going to be a few more things for the anniversary so stay tuned for that. But for now, Happy 1 year Anniversary to Flipflopped. May this AU continue to grow and improve and hopefully we can get closer to having Flipflopped become a game or get itself a sprite comic. Thank you all for following the blog. A question about Flipfell. (A fell-ified Flipflopped)

Hey guys!!! So I've been thinking about how a Fell version of Flipflopped would look like and what theme the AU should have.

Lemme explain.

So you know how Underfell's theme is basically Undertale but the characters are evil, edgy, and there is a running theme of despair, distrust, and betrayal, right? And you know how Swapfell is taking Underswap but making the characters evil by fell-ifying Underswap right? However Swapfell is different because it has a running theme of not only despair, but instead has a theme of war (Kinda) and money is a major problem in the Underground and the characters are alot more psychopathic, selfish, and or greedy.

(Cough Cough PAPYRUS Cough)

There is also Fellswap Gold which take the whole War theming and cranks it to eleven and also has a Military theme to it.

So one big question keeps coming back to my mind when I think of how a Fell-ified Flipflopped would work.

-What would the theme be???

I don't know if I should go for the theming Underfell has or have Flipfell have it's own little theming like Swapfell.

But... I got nothing. I have zero ideas for a Flipfell AU, I dunno which theme I should go for, heck, I don't exactly know what would the main colors even be for Flipfell. Like how Underfell, the main colors are Red, Black, and Yellow. Meanwhile Swapfell's main colors are Purple, Black, and Pink.

So I need you're guy's help on ideas for a Flipfell AU. You guys are super creative and have helped me out several times I was stumped. So I would really appreciate it if you guys could possibly give me some ideas.

I had this one idea of having a Flipfell theme where it's either a Punk Rock or some sort of evil anime theming to it where the Colors would have a White, Black, and either Green or Yellow color scheme. But I dunno how to do a punk rock theme for the cast, but I could do research to figure it out.

I would love to hear you guy's ideas for it. :)

So, I was thinking about Gaster recently, when I realized something.

So There’s this like Ice Wolf monster in Undertale, and their whole job is throwing these stupid ice cubes into the water all day. 24/7. Which was interesting, so I started to wonder. “Man! What are these dang ice cubes for?”

Turns out you find out later, It’s transported through the Underground in order to cool down the CORE. Probably to keep it from over heating or something. But this has always felt like, super odd for me. Look, if this SINGULAR Ice Wolf decides to go on strike or something, the entire electrical system of the Underground is put at risk. And it gets even weirder when…

…If you wanted to have a cooling system for the core. Why not add vents to release the hot air? Like in Hotland.

Then, a massive truth hit me.

Who created and designed the core? Gaster.

Which means he made the blue prints.

Because of this small detail. We can FIGURE SOMETHING OUT ABOUT GASTER’S CANON PERSONALITY!

WHICH IS THAT THIS MAN, IS AN ABSOLUTE FUCKING DUMBASS

HE DESIGNED A MASSIVE GEOTHERMAL MACHINE, WHICH UTLIZES HEAT FROM LITERAL MOLTEN MAGMA IN ORDER TO CREATE GEOTHERMAL ENERGY. USING WHATEVER LITERAL ACTUAL JUNK HE PROBABLY HAD TO BUILD IT OUT OF. IN DOING THIS, HE PROVIDED CLEAN, RENEWABLE ENERGY FOR AN ENTIRE CIVILIZATION OF PEOPLE. 

BUT FOR SOME REASON. HE DIDN’T MAKE A FUCKING COOLING SYSTEM FOR IT.

SOMETHING THAT HAD BEEN ALREADY UTLIZED IN OTHER AREAS OF THE PLACE HE BUILT THE GODDAMN MACHINE.

NO WONDER HE FELL INTO HIS “OWN CREATION”, WHATEVER THE HELL THAT MEANS. HE PROBABLY TRIPPED ON A SHOELACE OR SOME SHIT

AND THEN, ONCE HE’S SCATTERED. ACROSS TIME AND SPACE. GUESS WHAT IS THE FIRST THING HE DOES?!?

HE HACKS A FUCKING TWITTER ACCOUNT.

I am now 100% confident in the fact that Gaster is simultaneously the smartest and dumbest fucking person in the multiverse and I’m honestly all for it.

I love how Alphys looks and I really like how you did her Socks and Flipflop things, I really like the background, and I REALLY love the Amalgamates. I never gave them proper colors and just imagined them being just white, but these are really good colors and drawings of them. Thank you so so much for this. I’m so thankful that you love the AU.
