A picture wall that I painted for the summer festival at my work place, on a verry stright time window of 2-ish weeks, where I could only work a few hours a day on it.

The theme was "A day at the beach", the wall is made out of linen, and the colors I had to use where absolutely awfull becouse they barely had any opasity. Pair that with the absolutely damaged and low quality brushes that we have at work, and I'm suprised I managed anything remotely decently finished in that short time window 😒

My boss provided me with a verry rough Din A4 sketch of what she had in mind, I had to adapt it and make the proportions more chibi like, otherwise it would not have fit on the canvas.

I'm especially proud of the little boat! :3 I specifically looked up what boats in the north see (germany) look like, as reference/inspiration! ^^ (Though the kids specifically asked for a red sail xD The kids also suggested to make the umbrella ladybug themed :3)

Thanks to @/_mario7806_ (Instagram) for helping by coloring the base colors for the mermaids tale and the sun, and my other work colleague (who I don't know if she has social media) for helping me with the line art! ^^

Time it took to draw: 22 hours?

Maybe a bit more or less? So like...3-ish work days, if counted together and not acounting for breaks?

Hello! I don't get over the premiere. When Jk stops and Tae notices him and turns around and then grabs his arm. What do you think could have happened?

Jk was touching his hair he looked so shy. And when the two saw each other and Jk smiled and covered her face. I think it's the first time I see Jk like this.

At first I was thinking Jk and Tae going to the picturewall together was a last minute decision and that’s what made Jk extra flustered, but I’ve read this reply on @mysmorgasbordoffantabulosa

And that seems very plausible to me. Tae taking Jk’s wrist still seems like an act of encouragement and just trying to ease his nerves to me.

I haven’t seen Jk like this before either. They almost looked like a newly in love couple. I think it’s very telling about the way they love each other. To be this enamored with each other still… I have great hopes for them in the long run.

Took my Nanna out for a little bit of shopping this morning. I don't remember if I've posted my picture wall or not. I'm sitting on the sofa and this my view if I look up. The front door is open, hence the one picture looking like a mirror. On the wall are Wm's family and mine. Except for right over the short bookcase is the happy, Buddha owl Wm drew me as a Christmas present on the very right. Next to it are the first pair of Irish Dance shoes for both Katie (r) and Jami (l). . . I love being surrounded by pictures of my relatives and those who have gone before. With pictures of my kids I smile remembering the day they were taken. With others it reminds me I'm not alone, they were young once too and gorgeous in some cases! Others remind me that I come from deep roots, we worked hard. But I see love throughout. Wm and I both come from long lines of tough, hard working families full of love. . .
