…i have a roommates!akaashi that was supposed to just be a super long fic called love in the twenty-first century with ghostwriter + letters ghostwriter but as now transformed into a multi chapter series and i probably will never post it. I’m actively writing it however, the whole plot is down and I’ve got playlists for every character and all of my notes 🧍🏻‍♀️ but the way it literally grabbed me by the neck and told me to buck up because this is what’s happening LOL I made dividers and banners and playlist photos for it and everything it took over my life

a little! sometimes when I read someone’s work and then I have a conversation with them I can kinda hear how their character was made bc they will give off the same vibes to me LOL like some of your writing gives me that feel of a character who is playful but in the super calm, super cool way and then you respond to me going from smth intelligible to normal words and I’m like oh yeah i totally see it now. i think it just depends on the person bc one of my friends is like the most sunshine person I’ve ever fuckin met and then you read her writing and it’s super dark and creepy and she does not mirror that at all

Movies and TV shows of 2019

Okay so a couple or few years ago I did a review of movies that had released that year because I was super into movies that year. I am still into movies, but I have been watching a lot more shows this year. So, I will be reviewing movies and tv shows. Furthermore, I will be including stuff released this year, that I found this year, or that has a new season this year. Basically just anything that I have loved this year. Also, I don’t feel like ranking, so no particular order. Also, SPOILERS AHEAD - if you see a title of something you have not seen, and don’t want spoilers, please feel free to skip that section. Also, some of these I haven’t seen in a hot minute so if I get a detail messed up, we won’t speak on it. And finally, trigger warning - if you have struggled with sexual assault and may have an issue reading about it, either skip this post entirely or skip over the review of “Unbelievable.”

MOVIES -

1. After

I have been waiting for this since middle school. I read the after books on wattpad because what teenager in love with harry styles didn’t. Now I will be real with y'all. The acting could use some work in specific scenes, and some of the actors aren't MY favorite picks for certain roles, but I’m not gonna hate on actors. Ok so, Tessa (Josephine Langford) is an incoming freshman in college and is rooming with an upperclassmen, Steph (Khadijha Red Thunder) who has a friend named Hardin (Hero Fiennes-Tiffin). Steph wants Tessa to branch out and do new things, so she invites her to a party, where they play the stereotypical games, and thats when Hardin is kind of dared to make Tessa fall in love with him. ALSO, Tessa has a high school boyfriend named Noah (Dylan Arnold). She starts seeing Hardin, her boyfriend finds out, she falls in love with Hardin, and finds out it was all a dare. Buuuuuuut, pLoT tWiSt he actually loves her.

2. Avengers: Endgame

Ok listen, Infinity War was heartbreaking bc Bucky duh, but y'all are really gonna take Tony (RDJ) and Steve (Chris Evans) away from me? Shut up. Still, this was a really good movie and I’m not just saying that because I’m a marvel hoe. FRICK Thanos and thats on Ant Man. Thats literally all I have to say.

3. Annabelle Comes Home

I am a whore for scary movies. I love them so much and this one was *chefs kiss*. I love Mckenna Grace, she's such a good young actress and she fits so well in scary moves. There’s not much to say about the plot in this one, and ya really need to see it. Also, Bob (Michael Cimino) is so heckin cute what the heck.

4. Let It Snow

Ok this is a lot to unpack so grab ya snacks. Let’s talk about couple number 1 (of 3), Tobin (Mitchell Hope) and Angie (Kiernan Shipka) who are best friends. Tobin is in love with Angie but doesn’t know how to tell her, and gets lots of unwanted encouragement from his best friend Keon (Jacob Batalon) who just wants to throw a heckin good party, is that too much to ask for? So Angie gets invited to a party by some cute guy, JP (M and Tobin is jealous but goes with her anyways and they steal a keg for Keon’s party and run from the scary hosts of the party and end up stranded in a church after his car spins out of control. They finally make it to the party and kiss on the roof with the waffle town sign shining bright behind them. NEXT - we have Julie (Isabela Merced) and Stuart (Shameik Moore). This is kind of really cliche with the whole “he’s-famous-she-doesn’t-care-he-finds-that-attractive-lets-fall-in-love” aspect, but its also hella cute uwu. They meet on a train and the train stops so they go eat at the waffle town and go sledding and do a bunch of cute coupley shit. His manager comes to get him and basically tells her that nothing will ever really happen between them and he leaves. Then, he shows up at the party and they fall in love. NEXT- we have Dorrie (Liv Hewson) who is a lesbian that constantly struggles with the gay panic. Her best friend Addie (Odeya Rush) doesn't help much either because she's having her own relationship problems. Dorrie works at Waffle Town and when she's working the girl she's talking to, Kerry (Anna Akana) comes in with her dance team, and she's not out of the closet. A bunch of shit goes down, but they end up together and Dorrie learns that she’s worth more than she thinks and that’s all that matters. Also, Billy (Miles Robbins) and Tin Foil Woman (Joan Cusack) make wonderful additions to this movie.

5. The King

First of all - Timothée Chalamet and Robert Pattinson in the same movie? Sign me the HECK up. But they’re also historical, frick yea. Not too much to say about this movie other than it’s good. Super graphic (don’t watch if you don’t like decapitation lol) and super long, but good nonetheless.

6. Falling Inn Love

This movie is super freaking cute. Gabriela (Christina Milian) decides that she needs a change and enters a contest to win an Inn in New Zealand. She wins the Inn and is shocked when she realizes the Inn needs a LOT of work. She goes around town to get stuff to fix up the Inn and constantly runs into Jake (Adam Demos) and they have this flirty but we don’t like each other relationship, but then ya know, they fall in(n) love. 

SHOWS -

1. The Society

I could talk about this show for hours, literally. I love it so much it’s insane. Ok, so lets start from the beginning. A town called West Ham is being plagued by a disgusting smell. Due to this, the town decides to send busloads of teenagers to the mountains while they try and resolve the smell situation. All of the teenagers fall asleep on the bus and wake up to the announcement that they had to go back home due to road blocks. When they get off the buses, its late and no one is there to pick them up. They think that it may just be a sense of miscommunication, so they head home, only to find that none of their families are there, and they can’t get ahold of any of them over the phone. They finally decide to investigate and find that all exits out of town are completely blocked off. They then decide to find a way to survive without their families. This causes a lot of tension within the town including the death of a main character. This shows also includes gay representation!!!! This is my favorite couple, Sam (Sean Birdy) and Grizz (Jack Mulhern). Sam is deaf and gay and his brother, Campbell (Toby Wallace), makes fun of him for both reasons, and when the whole issue with the town happens, he believes he will never find love because he doesn’t think anyone else is gay, until Grizz comes along, and tries to learn ASL and loves him for him.

2. Roswell New Mexico

Alright, to be completely honest, I did not want to watch this. I have no idea why I just didn’t. I saw an edit on like instagram or something of the couples in the show and I was like, alright I can give it a chance. And spoiler alert I loved it. The series starts off with Liz Ortecho (Jeanine Mason) comes back to her hometown of Roswell around the time of her the anniversary of her sister, Rosa’s (Amber Midthunder), death. She gets pulled over on her way in and the officer that pulled her over was Max Evans (Nathan Parsons), who has had a crush on her since they first met, and just so happens to be an alien. After Liz gets shot in her families restaurant, Max uses his healing powers to save her, but leaves behind a hand print on her that makes her suspicious. She continues to investigate until he tells her the truth. She also finds out that her sister was actually murdered, and has the same hand print on her that she did when Max healed her. Turns out, his sister, Isobel (Lily Cowels) killed her, but it was actually another alien possessing her (which they didn’t know was possible when she killed her). When they landed on earth they also landed with their “brother” Michael (Michael Vlamis) who starts off the series with an on and off relationship with Alex (Tyler Blackburn) and I love them together. Alex is the son of one of the guys trying to find and take down the aliens and he also went to war and lost his leg. Anyways, towards the end of the season Alex starts seeing Maria (Heather Hemmens), which is a couple I don’t really like, but also bi representation is good! Anyways I don’t really wanna spoil this one too much I just love it a lot.

3. Elite

This is a show that came out in 2018, but they released a second season this year. All I’m saying is please watch the original version, not the dubbed over version. Elite is a spanish show about a few students that get a scholarship to the private school after their school gets demolished. This shows is in the fashion of present and past which includes a lot of flashbacks leading up to the the murder of one of the students. My favorite part of this show is the relationship between Ander (Arón Piper) and Omar (Omar Ayuso). Ander is the son of the head of the school and Omar is the brother of one of the students that got a scholarship. Not only are they of different socioeconomic status’, but Omar is also Muslim, and his family would not approve of him being gay. He finally finds the courage to tell his family, but thats not until season 2. Also, his sister Nadia (Mina El Hammani) falls in love with the “bad boy” of the school, Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau) and starts going against her parents wishes as well.

4. The Umbrella Academy 

Y’all mind if I confuse y'all real quick. So, a bunch of women all of the sudden give birth out of nowhere at the same time even tho none of them were pregnant? Yea I know weird. Anyways, so this dude tries to adopt as many of them as possible and ends up adopting like 7. They all have powers and they try and stop the apocalypse. That’s literally all I can tell y'all. 

5. Unbelievable

I swear I didn’t mean to get y’all upset right now. This show made me angry and sad and so many other feelings all at once. So the show beings with a girl named Marie (Kaitlyn Dever) getting raped in her home. When she reports it, they can’t find any evidence, as he cleaned the apartment and made her shower. This mixed with the fact that she struggles remembering parts of her experience (which is common with sexual assault), the police don’t believe her and force her to retract her statement. This in itself is awful, but they also charge her with false statement, which adds on to the fact that people already believe that she is a liar. Years later, two female detectives, Karen and Grace, piece together rapes in their precincts and once they find the rapist, they find Marie’s picture in with his belongings, proving that she was telling the truth the entire time.

6. Sailor Moon

I just got into anime and all I have to say is that I love this. That is all.

basically, learn to pick your battles, think before jumping into arguments w whoever so much as disagrees a teeny tiny bit w u and w whatever doesn’t go ur way. the five of swords is a card of the air element; it’s inviting u to think before taking decisions and to try and calm down before jumping into fight mode whenever u feel wronged

everybody isn’t out to get you! which can be especially hard to understand if you’ve had to live in a place where u were required to constantly defend urself. if that’s the case, understand that not everybody is like those ppl who made you pick up on that habit. you don’t always have to or owe it to ppl to defend and justify yourself. you can just be. and it’s okay if they don’t agree w your decision, or w you. it’s their problem, not yours.

Lights Pt. 13

“Addie’s coming to visit” Amelia said, dropping her phone onto her lap.

“Addison, really? Oh lovely” Mrs shepherd smiled genuinely, cupping her hand around Amelia’s knee and rubbing it.

“She’s mainly coming for a visit but she said she’d take a look at everything, just as a second pair of eyes” she said, looking up to Owen, finding his face tired and weathered.

“That’s great” Owen leant down and dropped a kiss against Amelia’s temple. She was sleepy, her limbs heavy against the soft hospital mattress.  They’d been set up in the hospital room for the whole day following Amelia’s appointment and all night. They were waiting on the OB’s rounds to see how things were looking.

Amelia lay on her side, a pillow between her knees, and one against her back, another under her bump. Owen had joked she’d taken the entire hospital’ supply. Wiring spread across the pillows, and across the mattress like roads on a map, from her bump, to the machines.

“She’ll be here tomorrow” Amelia uttered, reaching for Owens hand and pulling him to sit behind her on the bed. “Lie down with me O” she muttered, eyes flitting closed. Owen had slept in the chair beside her all night. Her mom had gone back to theirs, to feed and water Jilly, returning back in the morning.

Owen settled down behind Amelia and arranged himself around her, being careful to not dislodge any of the transducers from against her stomach. Mrs Shepherd watched in quiet awe, pleased to see her youngest daughter so well loved. She settled back in the chair and inhaled deeply, eyeing the monitor that indicated the contracting activity, steady and uneventful.

A nurse entered then, smiling sweetly, a bottle of something in her hand, a package in her other hand.

“Alright, I’ve spoken with your OB, she’ll be around in about twenty minutes to speak with you, but before then I’m to administer some progesterone, to hopefully stop your cervix from shortening.”

Mrs Shepherd shifted her chair away from the bed to give the nurse room to work.

“In the arm?” Amelia asked.

“We can do…” the nurse nodded. Pulling the syringe from the packet and inserting the needle into the bottle.  Owen dropped a kiss against Amelia’s scalp as he pulled up the sleeve of her hospital gown to expose her shoulder.

“Okay, Dr Shepherd, a sharp pinch, and then Owen with massage the spot, alright” the nurse nodded to Owen and he nodded sharply in reply.

“Okay” Amelia mumbled clenching her fist and closing her eyes, not wanting to see the needle.

She focused on the sensation of the babies, fidgeting and twisting inside her, and winced as it plunged into her arm. She gasped as it receded, breathing ’ow’ as a bandaid was placed over it and Owen’s hand began to massage the area.

“That’s great, all done, the doctor will be with you in a little while, just take it easy till then” The nurse said, discarding the needle into the sharps bin as she left.

“Alright?”

“That was sore, you do the next one” Amelia said, closing her eyes again, trying to derive some relief from Owen’s massage. “I will” Owen said, kissing her again.

“I want to go home”

“I think soon, you haven’t had any contractions, I’m thinking it’ll just be shots and bedrest”

There was a knock at the door, and all three of them glanced that way, eyes landing on Meredith, Alex and Maggie. They entered tentatively, with cautious but warm smiles.

“Hey, oh hi Mrs Shepherd” Mrs shepherd stood and greeted Meredith with a hug.

“How are you? How’s everything, the babies are alright?” Maggie said, approaching the bed.

Owen sat up slightly, resting his head on his hand, leaning on his elbow. “Both babies are big and healthy, Amelia may be going on bed rest however”

“My cervix is non-existent” Amelia muttered, rolling her eyes, sighing.

“Amelia, it’s not quite that bad” Owen retorted. Mrs Shepherd rolled her eyes too, Alex chuckled. Maggie sank down beside Amelia’s bed and placed her hands on her bump, giving it a kiss.

“Oh hello there everyone, hi Amelia, sorry for my absence yesterday. I’ve looked over everything, you’ve had no contractions, only braxton hicks,  and having checked your cervix again and found no change, I’m happy to send you home on modified bedrest. Meaning, you mustn’t be on your feet for longer than five minutes and just where necessary, bed to couch, couch to toilet… and you get the jist. Stay off your feet, lying down as much as possible, bed or couch, as long as you’re resting. No exercise, no lifting, no sex…” She smirked at the last one, looking around at her captive audience.

Amelia chortled at that, “No problem” she said. Yawning, rubbing her face with her hands.

“Contact me if anything changes, and I want you back here in a week, and then weekly from now on” She said, smiling, pursing her lips.

“Okay, thank you” Owen said, sitting up properly to shake the doctors hand.

“Wheelchair out of here, and here, this basically just sums up everything I’ve just said in more detail” She said, handing Owen a pamphlet, eyeing Amelia as she pushed herself up to sitting, eager to get going.

“Slow down Shepherd” Alex chuckled, stopping Amelia’s movements. She groaned and tipped her head back.

“Do you need any help to unhook from the monitors?” the OB questioned, knowing the answer before her question reached its end. Amelia had already started to untangle the wires. Owen shook his head, smiling.

“Amelia lie back, i’ll get them” Maggie said, directing Amelia back down onto the bed.

“I’ll meet you out front with the car in ten?” Mrs Shepherd said, standing up, feeling somewhat useless.

She and Amelia locked eyes and Amelia nodded, “Thank you mom” she said, with a smile.

“There’s a change of clothes there in the bag, I wasn’t sure what you would want so… well, I put a few options.”

“Mom, I’m sure they’re fine, thank you for your help” Amelia grunted her breathing at the end of her sentence as Maggie and Owen sat her up to unstrap an elastic band that was wrapped around her. Her mom nodded and left.

“So your mom is here…?” Meredith queeried, eyebrows raised quizzically. Amelia twisted her lips, nodding, letting Meredith take off the blood pressure cuff. “Thats new, I bet she was shocked”

“Oh she was, you would have loved it”

“Alright, here…” Maggie said, pulling a striped top from the bag and a pair of maternity jeans,

“That’s fine, is there a jumper or something?”

Owen chortled, stepping forward, catching sight of one of his flannel shirts. He pulled it out. “That’ll do perfectly” Amelia smirked taking hold of it and piling it atop of the clothes.

“We’ll stop by in a few days, give Owen a break. I’m off on thursday?”

“I’m off on friday” Maggie said, brushing Amelia’s shoulder. Amelia nodded, moaning softly as she threw her legs over the side of the bed. She sighed “okay” and smiled at the pair, and their pitiful expressions.  “I’m okay” she told them.

“Yeah well I don’t envy you, but you’re doing great” Maggie said.

“Okay, couch or bed?” Owen asked, guiding Amelia across the lounge. Jilly had her head buried in her toy box, quickly pulling out a bundle of socks she’d been given, bringing it over to the couple, bounding around them excitedly.

“Couch, but with more pillows” Amelia said, leaning into his side, wrapping an arm around the underside of her bump. “They’re starting to feel so much heavier in my pelvis” Amelia said, closing her eyes and letting Owen lower her down onto the couch.  She turned and put her feet up, leaning back into her maternity pillow.

“They’re running out of room in there” Owen said, smoothing his hand across the expanse of her bump.

“I don’t understand how I’m tired”

“Do you really not?”

“Okay well yeah, I do… but you know”

Owen watched her sigh and close her eyes, breathing deeply. She moved her hands from her bump as Owen pulled up her shirt. He ran his fingertips across the surface and then smiled, pressing his hands firmly against her, feeling the strong, slow, turnings of their babies. Amelia’s eyes fluttered open and she took in her husband with lidded eyes. They smiled, and Owen laughed in disbelief and stooped to press a firm kiss to her bump.

“I love you” Amelia said, reaching and running a hand through his hair. He held his lips against her bump, squeezing his eyes shut, feeling them burn with tears. He turned his head side on and pressed his cheek against her, inhaling her smell. “I love you” Owen said sitting and and walking his hands either side of her, hovering above her, kissing her lips, warm and giving.

Amelia’s kisses were slow and lethargic. Owen kissed her hard once more, “Have a sleep, I’ll wake you for lunch” he said, punctuating with one more kiss before pulling back, taking in her pale taught bump. Amelia fell into a slumber during the process of pulling her shirt down, only managing a quarter of the way. Owen sat at the end of the couch, still taking her in, a soft smile resting on his face. Mrs Shepherd stepped into the room from the kitchen then, silently hovering at the door, catching sight of Owen gazing, with so much love, at her daughter.

She cleared her throat, her smile widening slightly when she met Owen’s eyes. She moved forward and picked up the blanket that rested over the back of the couch, passing it to Owen and watching as he covered Amelia with it. In her sleep Amelia sighed and pushed it down until it only covered her legs.

“Would you like a coffee Owen?” her mom uttered softly. Owens eyes drifted up to her, and he pressed his lips, nodding his head.

The air felt too thick to Amelia when she drifted back to consciousness. She felt too hot and the air was heavy with moisture. She opened her eyes, the windows were open, sunlight staining the curtains and lurching in through the gaps. A light, warm breeze flowed through the room and Amelia groaned, blinking slowly, unimpressed with its lacking of any cooling qualities. She inhaled as deep as she could and moved a hand down to her exposed bump, palms shushing against the surface. She could hear voices drifting in from the kitchen, or maybe the garden. One of the babies turned inside her and Amelia shifted her pelvis, trying to find a way of lying that would make their movement less uncomfortable.

She heard a dragging against the carpet beside the sofa and froze, “Jilly?” she said, her voice coming out husked. Jilly quickly shifted up to sitting and rested her head on the couch cushion, sniffing loudly, nudging her head forward, kissing her wet cold nose against Amelia’s arm.

“Hey bub, what are you doing in here with me? I’m just sleeping. Hmm” Amelia reached and scratched her head. Jilly’s eyes drooped at the sensation.

“I’m thirsty Jilly, where is your dad? Is he in the garden?” Amelia asked, knowing where he was from the sound of his voice.  She looked down at herself and whined as another breeze swept in, inviting her outside. She lay contemplating whether to go or not, knowing she wasn’t supposed to move unnecessarily.

Pushing herself up, she decided she’d rather be outside in the sun, in hopes that the air wouldn’t be so humid. She sat up for a moment, feeling the carpet under her feet. Jilly jumped up immediately and sat beside her, looking to her with expectant and wide eyes. One of the babies, the one with their head pointing down, kicked up, their head pressing against her bladder. Amelia hummed, squeezing her eyes closed, she soothed her hands across her stomach. Jilly huffed, settling down beside her, resting her head in the tight space between her bump and her thighs.

The movement of one baby sparked the movement of the other and Amelia sighed, dropping her head back, moving one hand along Jilly’s back, plucking up the strength to stand.

“Right, I need to pee first” Amelia spoke, shifting to the edge of the sofa and slowly, unsteadily, standing, tightly gripping the arm of the couch to support herself. Jilly jumped down and walked slowly by her side. Amelia smirked at her, she’d become so clingy, choosing to stay at Amelia’s side over almost anything, often even food, which was her favourite thing.

Jilly stayed with Amelia the whole time, lying down on the bath mat as she used the toilet, sitting against the fridge in the kitchen as Amelia poured herself a glass of water. She’d casually get up and wander slowly along side her as Amelia waddled. It was Jilly’s arrival out onto the patio that announced Amelia’s presence to Owen and her mom, Jilly’s claws clattering against the tiles.

 They both eyed her and stood, “Amelia, what are you doing? you’re meant to be sitting down”

“Well I can’t magic myself onto the toilet, plus its too hot, why is it so hot?” Amelia replied, moving to the sunlounger letting her mom take her glass from her so that Owen could help her sit and then lie down. “The AC’s stopped working”

“What, a… why?”

“No idea, I called and they’re sending someone out here tomorrow”

“Tomorrow!? Damn” Amelia exhaled lengthily, shifting onto her side.  Owen stood up and moved the umbrella over to cast shade on Amelia.

“Mom, I’m sorry you aren’t having a more enjoyable visit, you really don’t have to stay”

“Oh Amelia, stop that, I’ll book my flight for a couple of weeks, like I said I would, and… and I’ll book a hotel, so I’m not… up in your business so much” she smiled, chuckling.

Amelia shook her head, “Mom, you can… “ she met Owen’s eye’s for confirmation, and found it, “You can stay here with us, I mean, we could use the helping hand”

“I’ll stay tonight and then Addison can use the bed, she’s a more helpful hand than me with her expertise” she said finally, folding her arms.

Amelia twisted her lips, knowing, with some regret, that she would rather Addison be at her home than her mom.

“Okay” Amelia said, closing her eyes, attempting to find a comfortable position.

“Jilly is obsessed with you” Owen declared, pulling a chair up beside Amelia. The dog had settled down beside her too, eyes up and around, watching the birds and the trees.

“She knows” Mrs shepherd said, smiling. Amelia just groaned, fidgeting.

She turned onto her back and sat up, supported by her her arms behind her.

“O will you sit the back of the chair up a little more please?” she said, tilting her head back, taking a deep breath. “I’m too hot, and big” she complained, as Owen sat up the chair back. She leaned back, bringing her knees up so her thighs brushed against her bump.

 “I’ll get you some things to help” her mom declared, standing.

“Something to speed up the pregnancy, and lower the temperature would we great” Amelia quipped, humming in delight when Owen moved behind her and pulled all of her hair back, reaching for the hair tie on her wrist.

“You are doing amazing Amelia”

Amelia remained quiet, she bit her inner lip, and breathed in through her nose. Owen wrapped the hair tie around her hair, and frowned, spanning the chair and sitting down on the edge of the lounger. Amelia avoided his eyes, biting her lip harder. She swallowed, arched her back slightly. Owen could see that her eyes were pooling with tears and he cupped her knee. “Amelia...”

He squeezed her knee and said her name again. She met his eyes and smiled sadly. A lock of her hair lifted from her forehead in the wind and danced. “Owen, I feel like I can’t do this. I can, I know I…. I just, I’m scared and, I’m so uncomfortable” her voice became raspy with emotion as she spoke, a few tears falling slowly.

“You’re over half way through, you got this, just order me around, I am your humble servant”

“So am I sweety, here” Amelia’s mom approached, carrying arm loads of stuff. Owen pulled Amelia’s maternity pillow from Mrs Shepherds arms and helped Amelia sit forward, sliding it in behind her.

Mrs Shepherd dropped all of the things down onto the chair, pulling a navy cotton dress from the pile.

“Here… I thought you’d be cooler in this” she said, holding it up. Amelia eyed it and nodded, bun bobbing on her head. She sat forward and pulled her shirt up, and over her head. Her mom slipped the dress on, smoothing it down her daughters back.  

“Alright, stand and we’ll get your pants off” her mom said, standing up straight. Amelia chuckled, taking both of Owen’s hands, “I never imagined a team effort between my husband and my mom trying to get my pants off” she said, stepping out of her trousers. They both laughed, helping Amelia to get comfortable again.

“Alright?” Owen asked, smiling down at her, eyes wandering about her figure. Amelia just nodded, preoccupied with getting Jilly settled on the ground beside her, atop a blanket. Her mom moved around the the back of the sun lounger and better arranged the the pillows. Amelia finally looked up, meeting Owen’s eyes. She took in his loving smile and smiled back, asking him “What?”

He shook his head, smile tightening. “It’s nothing, it’s... you just look beautiful, I haven’t seen you in that dress before.”

Amelia chuckled bashfully, feeling her mom’s hands on her shoulders, rubbing in sunblock. “Maggie bought me it, and… thank you” she said, reaching for his hand to hold for a moment.

“Amelia…” Amelia roused slowly from sleep. She felt soft fingertips trace lines on her face, around her ear. “Amelia… come back to me” the voice was warm and familiar, circling her increasing consciousness, dancing around her. She felt those same fingertips drawing patterns on her stomach and she shivered.

“Meelie...”

Amelia smiled, eyes still closed. “Addie” Amelia whispered. Addison’s smile widened and she ran her open hand along Amelia’s side.  It was early, early for Amelia.

Owen had been called in to work just as Addison had arrived and let her in, quietly guiding her across the house with a beaming smile, ushering her into the bedroom where Amelia was still sleeping.

Addie took a nap beside her for a while, and read an article on her phone, before she decided her friend had slept long enough.

Addie watched as Amelia slowly gained awareness. She opened her eyes and found Addison lying right beside her.

“Hi” Amelia whispered, smiling, eyes glittering with the reflection of the morning sun.

“Hey, you look adorable”

Amelia grimaced, shaking her head with a chuckle. “Because it’s you, i’ll allow that”

“Allow what? You do!”

“Ugh” Amelia grinned, stretching haphazardly where she lie.

“You are also huge, are you sure they got the due date correct”

“I mean I think so, but I guess you can tell me. I need to pee but I don’t want to move”

Addison just continued to smile, taking Amelia in, lying her hand against the bump, finding very slow, strong nudges.

“How was the journey? Why are you so early? Wait…” she shifted, perching up on her elbow, reaching for her phone. “What is the time?”

“9.30, but I got here an hour ago, just as your boo was leaving” Amelia chuckled at that,

“My boo… To the hospital?”

“Yeah he said he’d be back this afternoon.”

Amelia’s smile lingered and she closed her eyes, inhaling deep and blowing it out through pouted lips. Addison swept Amelia’s hair from her face and spoke, “you have a lovely house, and dog and husband, it’s all so delightfully ordinary”

Amelia laughed and took hold of Addison's hand, clutching it against her side.

“Will you help me up? Please”

“Of course” She said, rolling off of the bed and coming to stand at Amelia’s side.

“I’m so glad you’re here, I’m starting to get so bored, I don’t know what to do now I’m not working, and I’m so tired and hot, and so damn immovable. I do is sleep and watch crap on the TV” Amelia spoke breathlessly, squeezing both of Addison’s hands as she stood up.

“I’ll do my very best to entertain” Addison said, walking slowly with her to the bathroom.

“My mom is here” Amelia said, pulling down her shorts and dropping onto the toilet. Addison sat down on the edge of the tub,

“Wow, how’s that going?” she chuckled, analysing Amelia’s bump.

“Fine, it’s actually okay, we talked about everything, and she’s been staying here helping out... But she’s going to a hotel today, so you can stay”

“You talked about everything?” Addison’s brows raised.

“Pretty much Addie, I mean I didn’t go into many details but she knows everything, she knows about my unicorn baby” Amelia said, finishing up and heaving herself up. Addison watched her move to the sink, waiting for any sign that she needed assistance.

Amelia took in her complexion and sighed, shaking her head, “Jeez I look like crap, I look like a whale, and I feel like a whale. I’m scared that my upper body is just gonna absorb my legs” Amelia moaned, walking slowly from the bathroom. Addison followed her, laughing at Amelia, bending and running her hand along Jilly’s back.

“Amelia, stop where you are and go to the couch, I’ll get whatever you’re going to get” Addison said, lunging to catch up with Amelia at the kitchen door, stopping her with her hands on Amelia’s shoulders.

Amelia dropped her head, sighing, “I forgot for a second, I’m sorry”

“Amelia, you don’t need to apologise, it’s okay, just come and sit down, is your mom still here?”

“Yes” her mom answered, stepping out into the room, smiling, greeting Addison with a hug.

“It’s lovely to see you dear” She said, running her palms along Addison’s forearms.

Amelia’s pained gasp interrupted them and they both turned to her, finding her sitting with her hands pressed against her sides, and her face contorted.

“Amelia is it another braxton hicks?” her mom asked, moving to her. Addison dropped to her knees in front of Amelia and pushed her hand under her T-shirt, palpating the surface. “Ow” Amelia jolted and Addison felt a baby move sharply.

“Was that me pushing causing the pain?”

“No, it …” Amelia cut herself off trying to stand,

“Amelia, no, you are on bedrest, and this is a prime example of a moment you need to be lying down.” Her mom scolded her, sitting her down.

“No I need to stand, I just, they... Mom, no…”

“Amelia, just lie down, I’ll check you?” Addison helped Mrs Shepherd to guide Amelia down, and she relented with a sigh, surrounded by the two of the bossiest women in her life.

“I’m so sick of getting told what to do all of the damn time, I get it okay! It’s a braxton hicks, and…” She puffed, closing her eyes as the two women fussed around her, “transverse baby is turning” she continued. Addison nodded slowly, listening as Amelia’ panted her words.

Addison sat down beside Amelia’s legs on the couch, uttering “okay,” soothing her hand against Amelia’s lower back.

“I’ll get you some water” her mom told her.

“It’s too hot in here, god I can’t Addie, this is too much, why is this all so hard? My last pregnancy...”

Addison rubbed her back harder, pressing her lips together and inhaling steadily through her nose. “Your last pregnancy was different, your body is facing different demands, plus…” She put her hand against Amelia stomach, eyes still fixed to Amelia’s, “You have two in here.”

Amelia held her breath, looking up to the ceiling, trying to gather herself. Addison watched, rubbing Amelia’s stomach and her back.

“We can wait for this contraction to pass and then head outside? I’ll get some ice water, I’ll do your hair and paint your toenails” she suggested, smirking.

“Will you shave my legs? I haven’t been able to reach” Amelia wept, meeting Addison’s eyes. Addison just smiled wider, feeling a little teary herself. “Of course I can Amelia, now breathe, and try to relax, and soften all the muscles that you can.”

Amelia nodded, pursing her lips, bottom lip rolling slightly as she inhaled and consciously tried to relax the tense muscles.

Addison just started, her new career finally starting fresh she always remembered Leati but it's been forever since she seen him does he remember her? does he even know she's back, her now job now is to cater to hospitals all over the tampa/ penscola area. treating sport injuries on the side.

5am wake up call:

_ SIERRA, HOTEL, INDIA_

briefly went off, her alarm when she knew leati was starting his profession in the world wrestling entertainment she couldn't help but fear for him the last time they spoke he was at georgia tech playing football and the wrestling world was where he wanted to be They last spoke on christmas before he left for his big break in football

** Forward to 3 years later**

Addison got up and thought to herself "

_ Today is going to be the day i take that ring tone off!!_

she found the carol of the bells play list and clicked through the 250 songs of christmas music but couldn't find something, so she left it on jingle bells. She then proceeded to start the shower, only to hear the same ring tone that she got woken up to, she answered," Hello this is nurse Addison Jess how can i help you what hospital are you located at". the man on the receivng end couldn't help but laugh his dark, low chuckle.. Addison yes i'm at the Leati Emergency Room.. they're treating me fare but you could help.. he said before she cut him off with "Leati"? as in the " i want to be a professional wrestler, cut off the girl and never talk to her again Leati"? she could hear the sigh in his voice, He then sighed and came back with a

_ "I'll let you go. sorry i bothered you. i'll get in contact with the doctor here_

Addison cut him off, and said

wait No. No you'll wait forever with them. i'm on call i just, didn't expect to hear from you. i didn't know if you had my number. I can come see you at your hotel. And we can go from there. Can i meet you in the lobby Leati at 6?

Leati smiled as big as a child at christmas, and said

_ Addy, it's almost christmas. Are you sure? Your probably really busy? but if you insist doc, 6:00 sure. I'll see you then_

She finished her day at clincials and decided to check the weather, Naomi her friend at the hospital in Tampa kept looking over at Addison all day wondering why she was so excited and why she had to be out by 4:00.

_ Addy girl, you know it's almost christmas we're not going to get out of here until at leat 530, maybe even later girl your crazy to be thinking your going to get out of here at 4_

Addy just smiled and sipped her coffee,

_ I just don't know how else to tell you this Naomi.... _

Naomi laughed and turned her chair around to Addy,

_ Girll, you better spill or that coffee is going to be spilt and i know you and your cofee not to mess with you until ast least 4 cups!_

Addison, sighed and said

_ "Girl you remember Leati right? Leati Anaoi naomi asked? Addy nervously smiled and said "Mhmm. thats the one". Naomi laughed and said "girl, jon and him go way back i'd be stupid, to not know who that guy is,why though what's going on". Addison began Well, he called me and i was short with him, and now i don't know what to say to him because i'm not even interested but i answered my phone, because he called and you know when a patient calls i'm ** #1** it just kicks inside me, and i become this new person._ Naomi smiled and said _ Simple girl. Call him back and diagnose him as your date._ Addy smacked Naomi, and laughed as the two got back to work. Addy became nervous all day and didn't even know if she could pick her phone up to even dial his number she had his number and was nervous to even help him. nervous that he'd still be the same, Nervous that he looked the same, smelt the same. Nervous over a guy thats becoming a wrestler. Maybe he's made it to the big time and just has an injury and she would treat him and never hear from him again. She wasn't ready to let him go.

3:30 pm

_ Hello this is Addison Jess. how can i help you. what hospital or facility do you need_ she sounded so professional so intimidating, So sexy, Addison didn't get any response? she took the phone off from her ear, connection was strong. She decided to try again. _ Hello this is addison Jess. do you need emergency medical attention_ He finally spoke _ I don't know if its emergency, but i need attention, Addison it's me Leati. I have a left leg injury happened 2 1/2 weeks ago at a house show. I didn't get any medical treatment because Doc Anderson, wasnt around so i just haven't seen anyone. I'd like to see you so you can see it better, I'm no medical tech talker here. When can we set a time up._ She was happy he stopped talking, not like his voice was soothing and it sent shivers up her spine and in her most sensitive spots, because that was not even the case ( trying to be professional and not wanting to ask him where he was staying because she was going to make him feel better in ways no doctor could) She replied with a Yes leati, i can come meet you in say about an hour or two i have a few more patients and a couple write ups to write would 5:30 be okay? You could tell by his response, he was grinning ear to ear and finally spoke _ Yes. 5:30 sounds great Doc. I am at WillowSpring suites Room 1616.. My leg already feels better, maybe some dinner might be in an order and i'll be back in no time._ Addison laughed and said _ leati, i'll see you soon try not to move much and i'll see you around 5:30_ They both hung up Addison smiled all thorugh out the later parts of her shift, Naomi stopped by the station, as Addison was finishing up her last note. _ So me and jon are trying out this new cafe after he gets done at the gym he was wondering if you wanted to tag along, i also wanted to go to the new christmas store 2 blocks over and jon doesn't like shopping did ya wanna go?_ Addy looked up, and said _ I'm going to have to have a rain check.. i'm going to make a "Hotel, run safety protocal, on someone, new athlete in town thinks he broke his leg or hip. _ Naomi smiled and knew what her plan was but went along with it, _ Plus girl i gotta change. i smell like children, and germs from god knows what!_ they both laughed and started to shut their site down and walk out for the evening before leaving they hugged and naomi said for her to call her

** Getting in her white Jeep. Addison, ouldn't wait to see Leati. wondering what he'd look like wondering, what he smelt like wondering if he wanted the same things she wanted. She wanted him She wanted to help him she didn't know, why she wanted him she just knew she was ready to see him.**

She pulled in to the hotel, and was taken back by the hotel and it's beauty she thought to herself well he is in the business backed by the McMahons so they wouldn't put their talent in a shank but by god this is top of the top. She wore her dark purple scrubs and her columbia jacket her hair was just freshened colored a blonde with dark underneath and her nails we're painted a cherry red color to match her toes. She looked at herself in her mirror about 50 times thinking to herself _ I' look fine. i'm a nurse. I'm not here to be his escort and sleep with him. But what if i am?_ She was hoping his injury wasn't serious, as she walked in the lobby she was seriously taken back by how spacious and beautiful it was. She asked the recepitionsit if there was a elevator near by the lady working the desk, replied with _ Yes Mam'm down the hall, on the right._ Addison thanked her and walked down the long corridor and pushed the elevator door.

She couldn't believe how beautiful this hotel was. She was so taken back by the rooms and how the structure was so breathtaking she couldn't wait to get back to Naomi and tell her about this one. She came to his room and her breath was gone she had nervous hands and she didn't know if she could even do this she looked at the room number 1616 she was hoping he wasn't in there and that it was a complete set up. she knocked and a soft voice

_ Come in please_

She smiled before walking in, knowing how polite he was was a shock. She shut the door behind her, and walked closer to him he was beautiful seriously so beautiful for the first time, her lower regions ached and she wanted to smack herself,for being this gullable she was a nurse she did this daily at the hospital She began her exam of simple questions. that she knew like the back of her hand but protocol. she had to ask.

Addison smiled and wrote a heart and leati. like a 5 year old child. She said sure Leati, So now i start, she swallowed what seemed to be everything she needed to say. as she began, How much do you weigh: Leati said on average about 255 pounds. she smiled and wrote that on her piece of paper, and your allergies. he replied with lemon pepper and lemon oil. she then wrote that, and began to lick her lips praying he didn't see, what she was doing but he did (Busted) She thought She started but she stopped,

She then asked what kind of diet he was on and other questions. it was nearly 8:30. and she was starving, She glanced around the room and noticed a suitcase and leati was only wearing a tight fitted Black shirt with black basketball shorts. his hair was tied back in a low bun, she asked him where a good local bistro place was, he stopped her and said are you amplying we go grab dinner nurse? he smiled big by this time, and said _ I don't think the nurse is supposed to take the patient out for dinner_ Addison replied with "i'm breaking #231 rule of, conduct. Lets go for dinner it's part of the ritual. i need to uh see if you can eat. Leati laughed and said _ Ohhh i can eat_ Addison smiled and said lets see..

They walked down to a nearby cafe called LinPas Leati seemed to know where to go. They both grabbed a booth and looked at the menu's Leati ordered a medium Hazelnut coffee and Addison had the same but large, and both shared 2 large egg and cheese danish's with donuts. Addison felt like this was a date, she asked him about his family and he began with a _ My family is in the professional wrestling business My father, My late brother and I are in it, I'm in a bloodline of wrestling. I know when i last saw you I was in georgia tech playing football but that was forever ago. I feel like i don't even remember you from that. We have changed so much. My brother i think you remember him, more than you remember me. Yeah Matt passed hard time for me, my mom dad they took it the worse. Losing my brother the way we did made me think of coming back to georgia tech to teach, being in this business scared me of losing myself like we did Matt. _ Addison smiled and rubbed his hand as he began to tear up, she felt this overwhelming care for him. They began talking about what he's been up to in the business, _ "You know the positive stuff, been working for him. Been doing it for him, you know he would of wanted this more than anything, Been with the shield, for about 2 years Colby and Jon they're great theyre brothers to me especially since matt's been gone I feel that Matt sent them to me"_ ( THANKS BRO!) as he began to laugh Addison laughed leati said, enough about me. what about you. Addison smiled and said well i went to nursing school and began this crazy ride with Naomi. and shes been my partner in crime for years, I of course remember matt and when i heard the news it broke my heart I did send flowers to your parents and they thanked me for them. Leati smiled, and said yeah they mentioned you. i i I just couldn't bring myself to see you. but here we are. "Should we get back to the hotel? So you can finish your exam Doc?" Joe said Addison laughed and said we should, _ I wouldn't want you to miss the best part of the exam._ Leati laughed, and said _ WHAT? the shot? Yeah i'm pumped about that Doc._ Leati payed for the meal, and they both walked back to the hotel. Hand in Hand, Leati felt warm inside and really hoped this wasn't going to be the end. Just then, Addy's phone rang. I have to take this, we can continue walking, though we're almost there, _ hello this is " Addison Jess how can i help you. Oh hey! yeah, oh yeah still up for that one. Of course I can yeah i'll see you soon. Thanks for calling."_ Addy looked up and smiled, sorry friend of mine we haven't seen each other in a long time good to hear from old friends you know. Leati smiled as he held the door open for her, into the hotel. Leati stopped her, in the lobby, and took her hand in his, _ Look Addy you don't have to be my doctor if he...._ Addy looked at him confused? _He? Leati. it wasn't a "HE". it was a SHE. it was Naomi. she wondered if we had fell into a bliss, you know how she is you know how girls are. they're like trained gossip writers for STAR! and Entertainment weekley I want to be your doctor Leati. Lets go on upstairs where it's more quiet.

** ** ** 10:30 pm. the exam was over, and Joe was pretty tired. Addison diagnosed him with a Incarcerated hernia, His first concern was having sex. he blantly asked her, " Can i still engage in sex_ she sighed and said, I'll let this slide, Your not that bad YET but thats my diagnosis I need you to go see, my actual doctor that i work with so he can better run tests, and make sure But if your finding someone to get the last one in, i'm sure you will be fine. He smiled and she noticed him looking at her in a way.** 

He was anxious to even try the thing that he's longed for the most. They got back to his room, and she sat on the couch as he walked into the spacious kitchen as he ran his hands over his face he was so nervous not wanting to mess anything up. Leati heard clinkings of keys he thought she left he walked in the room, with 2 glasses of wine and felt relieved she was still there. she smiled up at him, and noticed the white wine she smiled and took her glass he sat next to her, and asked who she was talking too she smiled and said naomi you know she worries I just said i was staying late and i'd talk to her tomorrow i hope it will make her back off shes so protective but she has her rights. Coachella

Day 0:

I get to the campsite and I’m nervous. I’m nervous that Courtney’s on her way to the campsite. It’s inevitable that I’m going to see her this weekend... 

She arrives. I’m afraid to walk Andy over to their campsite because I’m not ready to see her... 

I then go with Andy to the restroom and there she is. Walking over to use the restroom with Sharon. She waves cheerfully from a distance. My heart drops. Why did she wave so cheerfully? Is she not nervous to see me? Is it just me? Am I being overly dramatic and immature by being so afraid?

I go back to my campsite. We drink and smoke a little and go explore. 

The rest of the night, she’s the only thing on my mind. I dream of her all night.

Day 1: 

Wake up hazy and sad from dreaming about her all night... 

I head over to their campsite. Say hi to everyone. Shes on the floor doing her makeup. I go to her and get down to hug her. “Hiya..”

The rest of the day (and weekend actually, every time I remembered her tattoo, I’d get slightly sad. How much I must have scarred her for her to get those tattoos... The thought killed me more and more... 

Eventually, I get so high I don’t remember much. Just that I really wanted to speak to her and ask her how shes doing. Especially since I was intoxicated then, it should’ve been easy to talk to her. But I was just so high that I couldn’t talk to anyone. 

Next thing I remember, we’re back at their campsite and I nap. They go back to the festival a bit later. 

I go back a few hours later with Andy. 

See her briefly but no conversation. That was that. 

Day 2:

Wake up, head to their campsite again. Drink a lot. Start interacting with her a little more. I recall answering for her for things. Like, “Yes, she wants a drink.” “Nah she can’t drink that much”. Lol. 

We go to Edwards campsite. I feed her a multiple shots. She feeds me water... We’re slightly awkward but interacting. She does a line. Enjoys it for a while then crashes. Falls asleep back at her campsite.

Memory is hazy again. But we were definitely holding each other. My phone died so I used her phone to record videos. 

After that, I think we went to Gaga. I start to sober up. And at the end, I realize I lost my car keys. I go to the lost and found. And I signal for the group to go home without me. 

It seemed like she was going to stay. But then suddenly remembered that we weren’t together anymore. And waved goodbye and went back with the group...

Day 3:

I stress out about my keys. Get them from Mom and Jordan. Get ready, then head to their campsite. We chill, drink some beers. Go to my campsite, take a shot. Then kenny’s tent. Drink more. 

We go in. Then everyone gets food. Courtney and I go off to get food together... We have our usual session of trying to decide what to eat because everything looks good. We settle on a rice bowl and ooey gooey fries. She tries to pay but I don’t let her. We eat, then check out an artist. 

The rest of the group wants to go see another artist while Courtney wants to see another. I choose to stay with her. We see Honne and Jack Garrett. I cry slightly while watching Honne... Every time they sing about two people who can’t be together... We go and get water. Then head over to the treehouse where we meet the rest of the group.

We take our favors. Head on over to Porteon.

The set starts and I’m already sad before I even take my actual favor. I look up at the sky, with sun setting, few clouds, and birds flying above in the distance. I ask her to look. She looks, with those big eyes I remember so well... She keeps looking, in awe. I get even more sad. A few more songs in and I shed a few tears. No one notices. 

I feel the come up. I consider taking more because I’m afraid the set will end before I feel anything. But the come up comes again, even stronger so I rationalize that I should probably wait.

About 30 min in, Divinity played and I broke down crying. Got on my knees and cried a waterfall. It wouldn’t stop. Never cried that hard before. I didn’t know if Courtney was noticing. But a few moments later, she came down, wrapped her arms around my neck, and kissed me. Half missed my lips and definitely got a bunch of my tears. “It’s okay”, she said. “It’s okay...” 

I wanted to let her enjoy herself. I didn’t want to come in like that and interject myself into yet another one of her memories... But I couldn’t help it. She had been on my mind the entire weekend. Even before the favors. 

We listened to the rest of the set. I don’t remember too much. It was a blast. Hanging with everyone. Everyone having feels together. I still had tears coming down here and there. 

Eventually they stopped though. And I think Courtney is the one who kept dropping a tear here and there. 

I also remember this one moment where I was sitting on the ground right next to her leg. And I sat as close to it as possible. Maybe I was tired and needed to sit. But just needed her there with me still... I was almost hugging it. 

Next thing I know, it’s a full on rave. 

I’m tripping on 2, and its just like old times. We’re all sitting there on the grass, pauline on the floor. I’m seeing crazy things. Courtney tells me to just enjoy it. I lay down on her thigh and look at the stars. 

We make our way to Jai Wolf. He destroys us all. I’m half holding Courtney. Half dancing and making memories with the group. Indian Summer comes on. We hold each other tightly. Again, things are hazy. But we definitely enjoyed the set together and each others company... And pictured good times we’ve had with each other in the past. I’m certain we both did that...

Pretty sure after that, we went to Kendrick. Which we weren’t feeling. I was hoping for more feels. Also, at some point I told Courtney to redose. And she took another half. Which I regret... Because thats 1 total... As if coming to Coachella and spending all 3 days and doing favors with me all weekend wasn’t enough... now she’d have to get through a severe comedown too... sigh.

We left Kendrick to go see What So Not. And he was interesting. A few feelsy songs here and there. Then we went to Arctic. While we were waiting in line, I took the opportunity to finally start asking her all the questions I’ve been wanting to ask her. Questions that I may have asked her already but perhaps forgot the answers to because we were so destroyed. 

How are you doing? How’s living at home? How’s studying? The internship? Are you happy? Sad? Do you hang out with friends a lot? What do you do every day? When’s the MCAT? When are you applying to school? 

She was doing “okay...”. Living at home sucked. No freedom. Her Mom cried when she found out about the tattoos. And her Dad told her that she was no longer his “innocent flower”. And then apparently that argument turned into another thing about Trump and feminism. Sigh what the fuck. I caused all this. I said “Sorry”. She said, “Why are you sorry??? It’s not your fault...”. I didn’t respond. But I wanted to say that it was my fault. All of this happened because of me. And I wanted to tell her that I’m sorry that her Dad treats her that way. But the words didn’t come out. 

Continuing on: The internship was great actually. She has really been enjoying it. It’s tiring through, driving to SD every time. Especially since shes taking a double shift so she could get her time all in on one day instead of having to drive back two times a week. She definitely isn’t happy. She doesn’t really see friends. Only when she goes to the gym with them. Her day consists of taking her MCAT course which is online. Then studying. Then picking up her little cousin from school. And going to the gym with her friends. 

Anyways, no point in going on about these tiny little details. Point is, she doesn’t sound happy. And its killing me. 

She asks me similar questions. About what I’ve been up to and if I’ve been doing well. I mainly shrug my shoulders. Tell her about how I’ve been running more because I have a half coming up. Been reading a book about making the most of my 20s. She’s surprised. “Wow, you’ve been reading?” Hahaha. 

We talk about the usual... How I feel like I’ve been feeling like I’m still behind. 

We go watch the show at the arctic. Then slowly make our way back to the campsite. At one point she asked me how it was being single. I kind of shrugged again. Told her that I guess I’ve been working a lot on my own stuff and figuring stuff out. And how if I were still with her, I probably wouldn’t have gone to Boston/NY. I think that kind of hurt her. But I didn’t mean it like that... I meant it in the sense where if I hadn’t gone, I wouldn’t have been able to take in all the sights and sounds. And get a taste of how all my friends were doing out there. Ultimately pushing me to consider moving out there. 

We get back to their campsite and we’re all pretty beat. I eventually fall asleep on the grass and she puts her towel over me a a blanket... Sigh. I sleep some more and when I wake up I don’t see her around. I assumed she went to bed. So I get up and start walking back to my campsite. I run into her as I am leaving. Turns out she just went to use the restroom. I ask her if shes going to shower. She says yes. So I wait for her to grab her shower stuff. We go get mine and we go to the showers together. Afterwards, we walk back to my campsite where we head into my tent. I only intended for us to get to talk some more. But she ends up asking me to lay down with her. I comply. 

We lay there. I’m on the left, shes on the right. I’m laying flat and shes laying on her left side, facing me. Our arms and legs intertwined slightly. Holding hands. Stroking her arm with my thumb softly... We just kind of lay there. I don’t really remember talking too much. A few times I think she shed a tear or two... We make eye contact from time to time. A while later, she drifts off to sleep. She groans as if shes having a nightmare. Twitching over and over. It half scares me and half makes me smile. I look at her closed eyes and sleeping face. Oh wow... I miss this... It’s been a while since shes slept by my side... Definitely my favorite moment of the night... Eventually she wakes up. She uses the restroom. Comes back and closes the tent fully. We get back into position. I’m big spoon, shes little spoon. Just like old times... I try and fit us both into the sleeping back but she can barely fit since I’m taking up most of it. I try my best to keep her warm. I ask her if shes cold and she says no. We fall asleep. I wake up a few times. Readjust. Try and put her into the sleeping bag a few more times. I recall even sleeping facing each other. Something we rarely do... 

Boy was that a beautiful night. Just us two in a tent. After a night of reconnecting... Talking about old times. The present times... How we’ve been doing... The wind was blowing. Keeping each other warm. 

We wake up. I walk her back to her campsite. And we pack to go.

Leaving,  themselves breathless, Leati never mentioned his ex  She was his ex.   Why would you mention your ex, to your company's doctor, She probably already knows And knows, you have a child. The morning of with leati couldn't of been more perfect. They woke up, to Leati's phone ringing, there was a few missed calls   two from his parents and one from his dreaded guilt of an ex. He noticed Galina's call and dreaded even her knowing his number but thought he better listen to the voicemail It  could have something to do with Joelle she was his daughter,   " Hi daddy, i have my dance show on the 6th mommy 

said you couldn't make it but i just wanted to ask if you could come maybe you could papa and gigi are coming i have 2 extra tickets i'm holding for you daddy i hope you can come, okay i cant wait to see you daddy bye daddy.".

Pulling into the  La Hacienias Addison  couldn't help but think of her wedding she loved looking at bridal magazines, getting ideas she had a pinterest account souly for her wedding her pinterest  board titled "Someday" had over 2k items of wedding bliss, from dresses to flowers to food, to even a groom which she had a photo of Leati they all  went inside and grabbed a table, by the bar the waiter came by  with a drink menu and they all ordered, Joe and Addison we're very flirty  Jon and trinity were busy looking around at the place to care, Charlie and Jackie we're discussing how the business was changing,  to break the romance/flirtmance up Charlie asked Joe how Paul was treating him "  He's been really great, Char he really helps us out  hes been so busy down in FL. but if we ever need someting personal/show wise he's there I really don't know how he has time to be a father/husband/and a director he does a great job thats for sure. And steph well she's just been so nutoriing. Really she's like  everyones mother, Trinity spoke up and added, Steph just  has this soul that is pure, I know when i injured my knee I spoke a lot with steph, she really reached out when i was down and out and  didn't think i'd ever come back.  Addison just smiled she really didn't know Paul/Stephanie, but heard great things! After the talks and dinner and the many consumed drinks paul and stephanie, excused themselves first they had mom/dad duties in the morning and aurora their oldest had school in the morning, they left and soon after did the rest. Addison decided to shoot a text to stephanie while they we're still at the restraunt, waiting for their take out meals and dessert, "Hey steph, it's addy. While i'm all into looking for bridal things, here i'm just not sure what its all meaning I have yet to meet his daughter, and his ex? and Am i ready for marriage steph, i don't even know what i'm thinking i need your help do you know something? I'll talk to you soon steph I'm sorry i bothered you with all of this. They got their food, and paid  the bill. Addy interrupted and suggested they go christmas shopping soon.  Joe said, he agreed but he had his daughter's holiday program to attend too " I have something to tell err rather than tell, ask you Joelle has this christmas program with her school, and  my family is going to be there including Galina, And well Joelle was pretty excited that i was coming, and I have to go pick the tickets up at Galina's and i think i'll ask for Joelle, tonight I was just wondering, if you were  game to meet her and to come along as my date to her program.
