I noticed in Marissa's Ryan shrine that a pic of RM from the first Chrismukkah episode where they go shopping is superimposed in front of a ferris wheel. So I guess them going on various ferris wheels as special thing for them is canon, lol. Also the ferris wheel kiss pic looks like it might be a still or cap from another take? I've never understood why they chose to do that thing with the superimposed ferris wheel. People like me know exactly when and where both happened so I've never gotten why this choice was made, lol. The one from 1x09 isn't a still so I'd say cap from another take! But yeah, maybe it's to continue the motif of ferris wheels in their history. Which is undeniably cute. It breaks my heart that Marissa is clearly carrying such a torch for Ryan at this point while he's pretty firmly into his new relationship. This sort of comes up in the (weak ass) apology scene at the end of 2x09 but is too subtle for Ryan to take the bait. The DJ thing was way too weak a reason to keep RM apart (while conveniently skipping over Theresa like she wasn't a huge, huge issue). And the DJ thing is kind of a painful storyline to see through 2x04-2x08 because there's zero chemistry and we can see Marissa's not all that into it. She probably felt a compulsion to see that through since it was the impetus for the break with Ryan at the end of 2x02. Basically... mess.

Do you think Carlos will be in 2x09? I'm excited for the Grace/Judd backstory but I've been worried that Carlos isn't going to be in it. The promo gives me slight hope that Carlos will come to the hospital with TK (assuming time jump), but I still have trust issues with the writers when it comes to including Carlos in episodes. Since if I remember correctly, you are 2 for 2 predicting Carlos 'credit only' episodes this season, I was curious what your thoughts are if you are willing to give them?

So, immediately following 2x08 and seeing the promo and knowing that 2x09 was going to feature a lot of flashbacks with Judd/Grace (and that the episode would pretty much completely be about them), my first thought was that Carlos would not be in 2x09 at all. My even *crazier* thought was thinking that TK might not be in it either, and that he and Carlos would be off healing from the events of 2x08.

Now, I’m not really sure. Considering the rest of the team won’t be involved in the story as part of the rescue team (like I originally thought they might), that means that they’re all just involved as friends/family, and it seems weird to leave both TK and Carlos (but especially TK) out of those moments. Also, is TK still in the hospital, or has he been discharged to go home and recover?

Obviously Judd, Grace, Tommy, and Charles (and Owen, because this is Lone Star we’re talking about) are going to have all of the storylines for the episode, but if all of the other characters are just sitting around worrying, I would hope that Carlos could also be a part of that, too. But, then again, they didn’t even let Carlos be a part of 1x09 when TK was in the hospital, so there really is no guarantee that we’ll see him in 2x09 either.

i’m pretty sure the bts pic we got from 2x09 of two people rehearsing a scene in Nadia & Arman’s bedroom, is Nadia & Arman. After the 2x08 promo they’re def hooking up. We’re all clowns who believed it was Arman & Thony but this unfortunately makes more sense. I want N&A to talk & go their separate ways not hook up especially after what Thony & Arman just went through man. :/ I feel like they should be getting comfort from each other bc of this shared trauma.

They are both in a dangerous situation with Kamdar - Arman is trying to protect Nadia, and Nadia wants to help too. It makes sense that they're worried about each other's safety. They still obviously care about each other, it isn't going to simply disappear 👀

Something I had on my mind because Eva posted a BTS picture in a story on instagram (that I apparently didn't save 🙄) of her having make-up applied on her foot/ankle - maybe she simply gets hurt and has to rest, and Arman checks on her? Kinda cheesy and probably won't happen, but that's the only thing I can think of right now - or am I simply in denial? 😅

Completely agree with you, Arman and Thony should be able to talk about what happened at that house, but I doubt we'll get to hear much about it 🤧
