TV shows hold a special place in our hearts and when they say leave, it can sometimes be tough to say goodbye. Our guest this week, as we continue to celebrate 10 years of SKiM is star of stage and screen actor and comedian Chris Lamberth, host of The Mundane Festival podcast. While discussing TV, we fell down a J-Lo based rabbit hole then just actresses and cinema in general. I’m a be real, we kicked it hard and chatted far longer than intended to open the show but it’s a great time to be had by all. We open it up with an interview with Chris about all manner of things including how he got into acting and comedy, avoiding jealousy and celebrating others, physical media, video games and, no joke, a deep dive in all matter’s grocery. We then head on over to Reddit and cast judgement on people who wonder AITA. We share our entertainment recommendations for the week and then head on out, only we don’t because the conversation is just so good and the vibes so relaxed that we talked for like another 10 minutes. Digital vs. Physical media With rumors of #playstation3 and #psvita stores and support shutting down, I picked up a CECHE01 for backwards compatibility for #playstation and #playstation2 #videogames. Plans are to install a TB hard disc and download all of my digital games before they're lost forever. This is why I bought a #ps5 disc edition and why my shelves are full of #physicalgames and why I love #retrovideogames ! Going to use this for my #ps1 #ps2 and #ps3 #gaming and then I'll have my #playstation5 for my #ps4 and #ps5games . As much as I love the convenience and space saving aspect of streaming and digital (games and music), there's something to be said about having ownership and control over your entertainment and collection.
