Dark energy camera captures the glittering galaxies of the Antlia Cluster
The Antlia Cluster (Abell S636) is a group of at least 230 galaxies located about 130 million light-years away in the direction of the constellation Antlia (the Air Pump). It hosts a rich variety of galaxy types, including lenticular galaxies, irregular galaxies and ultra-compact dwarfs. The cluster is dominated by two massive elliptical galaxies — NGC 3268 (center) and NGC 3258 (lower right). This image was taken with the 570-megapixel Department of Energy-fabricated Dark Energy Camera (DECam), mounted on the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) Víctor M. Blanco 4-meter Telescope at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in Chile, a Program of NSF NOIRLab. It captures only a portion of the 230 of galaxies that so far have been found to make up the Antlia Cluster. DECam’s ultra-deep view showcases the variety of galaxies within and beyond the cluster in incredible detail. Credit: Dark Energy Survey/DOE/FNAL/DECam/CTIO/NOIRLab/NSF/AURA. Image processing: R. Colombari & M. Zamani (NSF NOIRLab)

Eternal Bonds: Tim and Danny’s Infinite Realms Marriage
In the Infinite Realms, marriage is an unparalleled commitment. Unlike the mortal world, where love can be fleeting and easily undone, marriage in the Realms is something far more sacred. It’s not just about vows or ceremonies—it’s about merging souls, creating a bond that not even the vast stretches of time can sever. The very idea of marriage in the Realms is rare, almost mythical, because it requires two beings to love each other so profoundly that they’re willing to bind their very existence to one another.
For the ghosts and entities that reside in this realm, eternity isn’t just a poetic idea—it’s a reality. Time is meaningless when you’re no longer alive, when your very essence is bound to the afterlife. And because of this, relationships are viewed through a different lens. There’s no such thing as divorce, no “time apart.” Once a couple is bound, their souls are intertwined forever. To dedicate your entire being—past, present, and future—to another means accepting that their joys, sorrows, triumphs, and failures will be yours too. It’s a partnership where breaking the bond is simply impossible.
It’s why marriage is such a rare occurrence in the Realms. The ghosts, who have already lived one life and often seen the frailty of mortal promises, don’t enter into this kind of bond lightly. It’s only for the strongest of loves, for the most steadfast of commitments. Because once you marry in the Infinite Realms, that bond holds through eternity itself.
And yet, despite the gravity of it all, Tim and Danny find themselves willing to make that very commitment. Tim, a mortal tied to a world where things end, where nothing lasts forever, steps into the unknown. His love for Danny is so deep, so unshakable, that he agrees to a traditional Infinite Realms marriage. He knows full well the weight of it—he’s not just vowing to love Danny in this life, but in every life after. In swearing to this bond, Tim is offering his entire being to Danny, for now and all of eternity.
For Danny, this choice means even more. As a halfa, he exists between two worlds, knowing both the mortality of the living and the permanence of the ghostly afterlife. His love for Tim is powerful enough that he’s willing to make this eternal commitment, knowing that there’s no one else in any world—mortal, ghostly, or beyond—he would rather be tied to. For Danny, the bond is as natural as breathing. It’s a connection that deepens their relationship in a way that transcends the limitations of their two worlds.
Their marriage isn’t just a declaration of love—it’s a merging of souls, a binding that makes them two parts of the same whole. It overwhelms them with the sense of safety and belonging that they’ve both craved in their lives. In each other, they find the kind of love that doesn’t just endure life’s difficulties but thrives beyond them. Their bond ties them together forever in a way that no one else could understand, but to Tim and Danny, it’s everything.
They are each other’s home. And in the Infinite Realms, there is no greater honor, no stronger connection, than to be bound by love for all of eternity.

No one ever talks about how Sol's sword turns into this thing when he installs. Or how it has a Tree of Life on it
I need someone to ask Daisuke Ishiwatari about his library and how he got inspired to put some of the wildest theology and metaphysics deepcuts you can imagine in the equally wildest places in Guilty Gear, and why like... No one has really brought them up (AFAIK) in the 25 whatever years GG's been around for

Having a dad who’s equally as obsessed with top gun as I am is amazing cause in January I bought a top gun shirt that’s exactly identical to one he has, and I was a little worried that my parents would scold me for spending my money on a shirt I could just borrow from dad but the second I took it out and showed them he just started cheering
Then there was that time he was away at work and I had told him that me and a few friends were watching top gun at our place, cue him texting me a cropped picture of maverick from the movie poster and asking me if I need to borrow his raybans with this 😎 emoji
Or that time he put on lady gaga’s music and I was really surprised to find he liked her only for him to go “well she made a song for top gun maverick 😄”
Orrrrr that time I came downstairs and saw him watching pete x penny edits on the tv in our living room
And don’t get me STARTED on my brother blud literally thinks he’s maverick (him and his best friend literally refer to each other as goose and mav……………)

I feel like I just want to bang on the door of everyone who ever talks about Rhaenys's death and say: YOU KNOW SHE DID THE FALL IN TWO TAKES? She has TWO takes for that shot!!
This is exactly the kind of information that should be issued as a public service announcement, cause it's genuinely astonishing.
Two takes. Two.
TWO.
That’s all Eve Best needed to deliver one of the most devastating, hauntingly beautiful death scenes in recent memory. No endless resets, no drawn-out process—just pure, instinctive mastery of her craft. The woman acted against a green dot, and still managed to convey a depth of grief that felt like it was clawing its way out of her soul—twice—and that was all she needed?
It’s one thing to act grief—it’s another to make the audience feel it in their bones. And she did that in. only. two. takes. while looking at a green speck. And it's become one of the most harrowing moments in the entire series... I'm wowed.
People can say whatever they want, but there is no denying the artistry of what Eve Best did. The way she internalised that loss, let it build and unravel across her face in real time, all while reacting to absolutely nothing. An actor so in tune with her character, so utterly assured in her performance, that she can distill something that raw and shattering into perfection almost instantly.
She is simply built different. No, but for real, because how dare she be that good? Eve could act against a brick wall and still outshine half the industry.
I will be banging on doors with you. We riot at dawn.

One very self-indulgent fanfic concept that I've been a BIG fan of since I was like 14 is "the big war arc of the story lasted a decade instead of a week, and somehow the main character travels back in time to prevent that." You know, the ones where the main character is extremely overpowered for the standards of canon, but they're in the bad timeline so it doesn't matter? The ones where every moment they spend in the past is fuel for the angst?
Anyways I think that a fic like that but for the Phyrexian War would fix me.
