The Snow Moon rise, half-full! Right after I shout the sunset alignment with the cathedral of transfusion, I drove a bit further south to highway 407 for a massive moonrise. It showed up, and went behind the low clouds. Later it reappeared a bit higher in the sky, but I was already gone (had to be back to my desk for my music show). Una gran foto de @eljuancri que requirió trabajo y paciencia . . . Repost @eljuancri ... 20:45pm Luna llena al 99,8% emergiendo desde el cerro Altar. Una de las máximas satisfacciones al fotografiar algo no es solamente hacer el click, sino que programar y calcular esa fotografía precisa que quieres. How to make a ridiculously unrealistic moonset scene!? 1- to get some foreground detail, make the moon fully blown out. This step is depicted in photo #2. Don’t forget to over process it. 2- don’t forget to catch a few shots of the moon before it sets. Some to catch details in the bright side and some to catch them off the dark side. Then blend them nicely and over dramatize the results. 3- blend them together in Photoshop. To make it more realistic, pick the sky colour of the background, and fill a layer on top of the moon and blend them nicely (screen or luminosity will work, but try other modes and opacities too). Note that the more you try to make it look realistic, the worse the photo will look like. All shot on #Canon R5 + #Sigma 150-600C, on #Manfrotto 190XPro with the ballhead.
