VeronaHills, Round Ten: Mann

The Mann family's country home was perfectly appointed for a wedding, with enough space to seat the entire Capp contingent.

Juliette and Junior married at dusk. She'd always considered it to be a romantic time - perhaps a holdover from awaiting Romeo after dark in her teens - though Junior didn't need to know about that. He liked the nighttime setting too; moonlight afforded a more appropriate setting for cracking open the bubbly and dancing on tables as soon as the vows were done. There were a few Capps who pursed their lips at the perceived impropriety, and Rich did take his son aside for a word after an attempted cartwheel, but all in all, society spread word of the heiress' beautiful wedding the next day.

On the flight to Three Lakes for their honeymoon, the newlyweds wondered if they might've single-handedly popularised sundown ceremonies in the village. They laughed and toasted to Riverblossom Hills, seeing just how quaint it was from their private jet above (a gift from Juliette's mother, who would've simply passed away if they'd flown with everyone else). Suddenly, Junior halted his laughter and stuffed his hand into his pocket. He breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the crumple of paper.

"What's that?" Juliette asked.

Junior unfolded a squashed scroll that was just barely hanging on to its pulp. It looked like someone had spilled tea on it and left it on the floor to be trodden on thereafter, yet Junior danced it across his fingertips like spun gold.

"Dad's gift," he replied. When Juliette's face bent into confusion, he elaborated with much anticipation: "A map to find Bigfoot!"

Lana's gift was based in reality, at least. The massage artists found and unwound knots in the body Juliette didn't even know existed. She was extremely impressed with how fluid her body felt afterwards - until her father-in-law's map actually led to a sighting of a hulking, hairy figure who could only be that creature of legend. Just as well - they'd hiked quite a distance uphill, with Junior giddy all the way.

It was nice of Rich to give his son a childhood dream that money couldn't buy. Odd for a tycoon, Juliette thought, but still nice.

It's Elliot's first look at his father, too. And he has the realization that his parents are not together? I swear, birthday parties are always cursed for kids of Romance sims.

Meanwhile, Don and Phineas seem to be engaging in some kind of kiss battle for Atonia's attention? They could not care less about Elliot's utter dismay.

Next up in our Veronaville Divorceapalooza: Juliette and Phineaus! Juliette found out Phineaus wasn't the Romeo she was looking for, and instead began courting Alexander Goth. One thing led to another, and now Phineas has to care for their boys Lawrence and Paris all by himself.

Phineaus couldn’t help but feel attracted towards the serious, ambitious Ellen. She kept by herself most of the time and was studying most of the time but when she needed a chess partner, Phineaus gladly helped out.

Veronaville/Académie Le Tour Makeovers

I'm finally sharing my Veronaville/ALT stuff! Hi, if you're just finding me I'm Moyo. Here's my primary blog, where you can see my Strangetown/LFT gameplay as well as where my CC and everything else is. But I didn't want Veronaville stuff to be mixed in and be confusing. So here we are. Anyways, ⬇️

Consort, Tybalt, Juliette and Hermia. Yes, I'm keeping Tybalt's mask.

Patrizio, Isabella, Mercutio and Romeo. Idk how Mercutio ended up so adorable.

Oberon, Titania, Puck and Bottom. I did make them fairies and gave them wings after I took this screenshot. I went back and forth whether I liked the wings or not for a long time but decided yes while playing them.

Albany, Goneril, Miranda, Hal, Desdemona and Ariel. I kept Desdemona's facepaint because it's kinda cute.

Cornwall, Regan, and Kent. I've heard a lot of people have Kent be asexual and/or aromantic so I gave him both traits. But his in-game preference is men so that'll be fun.

Antonio, Beatrice and Benedick. Benedick's blue eyes threw me for a loop and I spent far too long looking all over the wiki to see where he got them from.

Max Flexor and Mitch Indie.

Delilah O'Feefe. I've been waiting for a reason to use those glasses for ages.

Roxie Sharpe, Edwin Sharpe and Jonah Powers. I might change Jonah's hair because I've since downloaded one that I might like better idunno.

And then to save myself households to play I've just lumped the bin young adults into one dorm all together so Tom Freshe, Emily Lee, Phineaus Furley, Chaz Whippler, Ellen Frost and Marla Biggs.

At the moment I've played the Veronaville households all for their 1 day of summer. I've not played the ALT households yet. Now to start filling up my queue.

Castor Nova, Allegra Gorey & Stella Terrano Castor and Allegra are originally students from Sim State University, while Stella is from La Fiesta Tech. Now they're in the townies/dormies bin.

Joshua Ruben & Martin Ruben Originally from Sim State University and living in two different households, the siblings Joshua and Martin are also in my townies/dormies bin.

Gunnar Roque, Jasmine Rai & Zoe Zimmerman A premade household in La Fiesta Tech. Gunnar, Jasmine and Zoe are in a band called Shifting Paradymes.

Robin King & Laura GilsCarbo Robin is a premade from La Fiesta Tech. In my game she's the little sister of Gordon King. Laura is also a premade townie from La Fiesta Tech. She's the little sister of Goopy GilsCarbo.

Phineaus Furley, Marla Biggs & Tom Freshe All three are originally premade students from Académie Le Tour. Now they're in the townies/dormies bin.

Gaja & Apollo's wedding

Finally this day happened. Gaja Dreamer, after breaking up with Dante Lotario, can marry love of her life, Apollo Terrano. What a beautiful ceremony 😍

Everyone was here...

...even Nina Lotario who came to insult bride (I don't have photos of that unfortunately).

They also started family really fast!

For context: Gaja is a daughter of Cassandra and Darren Dreamer. Dante is a son of Don and Nina. Apollo is son of Stella and Phineaus Terrano (formerly Furley).

VeronaHills, Round Ten: Sharpe

Edwin could practically see the writing on the yellow walls of their trailer. It was a mocking scrawl: "Delilah loves someone else."

The realisation might as well have been carved into Edwin's heart. Days ago, things were normal. A level up from normal! They'd gone to the soft opening of his sister's restaurant and low-key soft launched themselves as an official couple.

Delilah loved champagne. She'd always spoken about capturing the way the bubbles caught the light, and the feeling of become light-headed, in her paintings.

The flat orangeade flute sat in her hand the entire evening like a gauche art installation. One night with former fellow Phineaus Furley was all it took to remove the love and the light and the bubbles from Edwin and Delilah's golden circle. The babies on the horizon - two of them, plural - made her squint at the trailer's rays.

Phin had a place in the city; three bedrooms, job opportunities, a real art scene. She did love him, really.

The day after Delilah left, Edwin bought a lottery ticket. The winning numbers were golden: enough for a bachelor pad, with some coin leftover to become the city's newest, fittest, coolest eligible gentleman on the block.

All Ed had to do was avoid every twin stroller in the concrete jungle - and never visit the art gallery, ever.
