Honestly, this is my favorite portrait so far, because it looks realistic and natural at the same time, I am impressed with the result. Park is a genderfluid character, so she has been the role of father and mother at the same time on many occasions to serve her apprentices and the orphans where she worked as a youth in her mission as guardian. She has a big heart full of kindness and independence, so she will be the best mentor for Ailish and her friends.

A woman with a lot of authenticity and love for nature that from time to time causes her a lot of anger due to the unpleasant way that citizens treat the magic of this nature. She is a character that is faithfully inspired by the mixture of French and African culture, where a natural elegance shines and is full of anger at the injustice that grows year after year on all generations.

Venus is the representation of the light of dawn or rebirth, which is why she looks half dead, but the truth is that she is a living soul. She is hers in her time, her queen, guardian and mentor par excellence, one of the most passionate and disciplined that led to her death for this very reason. For the commitment she has to her kingdom and her loved ones.

She is a great friend of Melissa and they both share rings as a commitment to their work for the kingdom, being part of the Guardians. A teacher with unimaginable abilities for memorization and a curious-looking beast, for whom everyone communicates great respect. He is a character with great strength and elegance when fighting, when he has the opportunity to advise in combat, however, he is a man who prefers to be in the classrooms with young people telling stories and myths from other kingdoms. He has a doctorate in French philosophy, so one could assume how old he is, since this world is made many centuries after our current world.

I've been on a "humans are space orcs" spree lately and I think the trope is kind of wrong, or not fully thought out.

Any kind of organism capable of achieving space travel should have experienced hardship, be it hunger, disease, predators and war, while also pushing their own limits, be it with competitions of strength or wits and even domesticating animals.

If the other species is a giant Ameoba, it would get sick due to invading beings, not to mention a pluricellular species, even AI could corrupt over time. Healing from injuries and fever wouldn't be that weird.

Most smart species would have some relation with the animals of their environment, at least like a honeybadger and the bird that follows it, but let's not forget ants have domesticated fungi, so that's a real example of agriculture and simbiosis with non-space traveling species. Imagine what something way more resourceful could do. It's not weird that Klargh finds a tarantula cute, it's basically a small elephant for his species. Same concept goes to murder lizards, space dragons and even other sentient species, someone in the crew will like it and try to domesticate it.

Brains must also be used, entertained, whales sing and elephants have their huge sense of family, a sapient species that used tools, created cities and managed to achieve order would also have music, painting or the at least dancing. Rage quitting, betting smoking, videogames, movies, entertainment of all kind wouldn't be that unique.

No species that violent or brute could achieve something so complex, even if the perfect species was born without predators, disease and are all working for the same cause, how does something so perfect ever have the need to expand? It would be more of a plague than a species.

What we do have is that we are the "space bards", with good senses, durability, adaptability and varied tastes within a same species (which could also happen in others) we swim a little with the aquatic species, go to Romulan movie night, join space sumo night, eat alien foods, smoke something with the tree octopi and discuss philosofy with a telepathic snail.

Humans are tough but that isn't the cool part about us, being human IS the cool part.

LIKE... the order in the name is not that much in the religious meaning, but more like in the "Paladin Order" meaning

Like, now that we finally have a look of how Mistic Flour's mentality and powers works. It doesn't makes sense for her to make an order of warrior nuns if she has a philosofy of "everything is meaningless". (There is also the whole detail of Mistic Flour having more inspiration of Buddhism and chineese mithology. Wich conflics with the catholic/christian similarities of the order)

But silent salt is a KNIGHT. Knights are more realated to medieval kingdoms. And the whole "The order hides the truth about the witches" does fit more the silence factor.

jungwon is to me, the reassurance itself. he has that capacity of finding the right way and the right words to make you feel better, to make feel loved and alive.

wipes off your tears when you cry, he'll cup your face tenderly and make you look up to him. his worried expression makes you want to cry harder but he just starts wiping your tears away with his thumbs.

whispers sweet things when he does so. it's important to him to let you know how important you are to him. even if words of affirmation is not his love language, he'll try his hardest to translate what his heart wants to say.

"i know, the grief is never ending, but please, do not forget that so is the love," he wipes off a tear. "you are doing well, you are trying and that's what really matters. everything is going to be alright, love."

he doesn't tell you to not cry, it's okay to cry. but he wants you to not cry on your own, he is there for you, always.

has that cute habit of putting his head on your chest when it's time to sleep or when he is sleepy. he puts his ear on your heart and listens to your heart beating underneath him.

it is as if he is a giant plushie. especially when you are feeling down. he hugs you in a teddy bear way, i don't know how to explain it but he hugs as if he was an immense teddy bear who became human.

shows his love through actions rather than words. he doesn't tell you that he loves you a lot, which is totally okay, because you can feel it. every time he looks at you or does something for you.

when you are folding the laundry alone, suddenly he appears and starts doing so too. when you are doing the dishes and he tells you to go get something for him in the room, then when you come back he is doing the dishes on his own. when he lifts the groceries bags for you.

he has that kind of love that makes you feel like a burden, because you are. which is totally normal. people are made burdens to one another. he wants to make you understand that you are not annoying because you need to rely on and ─ be supported by ─ him. he wants you to remember that we are made for love

doing something you do not understand for the one you love, that is what love is like for him.

because someone i love is feeling down.
