Steve and Robin lose their job at Family Video in the wake of that fateful Spring Break but not for the reasons one might think. It wasn’t because they closed early on one of their busiest days to track down the town’s infamous ‘murderer’. It wasn’t because they skipped their shifts for four days in a row. It wasn’t even because they told Keith to his face that ‘they would rather die in the earthquake and fall into hell than work another boring shift’.

No, they lost their jobs because of a grudge they kept. Both Steve and Robin refused to sell any tapes to anyone they thought may have been involved with Eddie’s manhunt, unfair people’s trial, or the continued harassment after he was proclaimed innocent. Justifiably, they had their reasons.

“Oh no Andy, we can’t let you rent this one. You’ve already lost enough brain cells being brainwashed by Jason. Maybe watch the news or something.”

“Mrs. Wheeler? You absolutely may not rent anything. Maybe go call the police again since that’s what you like doing.”

“Oh ho ho, Officer Callahan! Funny to see you here, you know, not hunting down children. Get out of here. Come back when you have a warrant, asshole.”

So yes, they lost their jobs but not their dignity. Inevitably, when they went back to the Munson’s new trailer or to Steve’s empty house, they had what really mattered. They could watch the movies off of tapes they stole, Steve could cuddle in Eddie’s scarred arms, and Robin could rant about how many films would be better with lesbians in them. As it should be.

(They lose a series of jobs after Family Video as well. Robin and Steve get fired from the diner, the library, and Melvald’s all for refusing business to the asshats that made Eddie’s life hell. Because in their eyes, the whole town could suck it.)

Some Cousin Harringham headcanons

Steve and Chrissy are cousins, Their mom's are siblings. They were close growing up but by the time Steve got into middle school and started becoming 'King Steve' they began drifting away from each other. By the events of season 4 they didn't really talk outside of school and the very rare family gatherings. Noone even really knew they were cousins.

So like when season 4 happened, after dustin and max told steve what they thought happened he went to see Chrissy in the hospital (i refuse to believe she's dead) and she like, insists that Eddie didn't hurt her. He's still kinda skeptical, but now that his kids and his cousin are insisting that this guys not evil he's kinda got to start believing it a little bit.

Steve really wanted to be a cheerleader as a kid. Like really wanted to be a cheerleader. Whenever he and Chrissy would hang out he'd always make her practice cheer with him. When he went into middle school he realized that he wasn't able to be a cheerleader because he was a boy so he went and played basketball instead. Chrissy liked cheerleading too but she didn't love it like Steve did. She only really went into it because he wasn't able to. 

They used to have 'girl nights' together, because Chrissy always wanted a sister and he liked having other people in his house,so they'd do their nails together and gossip until Steve became popular and stopped hanging out with her so much.

After season 4 Steve and Chrissy start getting close again and he cooks for her every weekend.

Buckingham happens and Chrissy come out to Steve and its just like:

Chrissy: Steve, im a lesbian.

Steve: oh cool

Chrissy: also i have a crush on your best friend

He then goes on for a good 10 minutes about how Robin is HIS and she cannot steal her from him and then like immediately after starts planning how to get them together. 

Then because he's an idiot he starts planning stuff to like get them alone and he tells Robin like "oh you and Chrissy should go to the movies" and Robs like "oh! girls night?! ill invite Nancy and Vickie-" and it just never works out but eventually Robin just asks Chrissy out and they both just say Steve was the mastermind behind it because they dont want him to feel bad about his attempts. 

Also, Callahan is their uncle, on their moms' side. And at the occasional family gathering he always watches over them to make sure noones giving them a hard time. (I like big-brother Callahan too but weird uncle is more fun.) Callahan has almost gotten into a fight with their like 11 year old cousin cause he overheard found out that Steve was bi and tried to tell his dad.

Growing up, Callahan was the person Steve used to go to when he would “run away from home” after his parents berated him for something that wasn’t “manly” or told him he wasn’t good enough.

Callahan would then let little Steve watch tv in the living room whilst he would call Steve’s parents to tell them where he was. Not that they actually noticed or cared, but his parents would always eventually arrive to bring him home. Turning their nose up at Callahan’s perfectly decent house, that was in a perfectly decent neighbourhood but it wasn’t in Loch Nora so it obviously wasn’t adequate for their standards.

Steve’s parents always judged his uncle for going into a career field like the police and always used it to lecture Steve on why he needed to follow in his father’s footsteps, so he didn’t end up “in a little home and bringing no pride to the family”. Little Steve never understood how someone who was so nice and caring wasn’t good enough for his family.

Still thinking about Steve and his uncle Phil Callahan (I think it was pretty universal that everybody thought he should be Steve’s uncle), but specifically post-season 2.

Like imagine, Callahan and Powell are finishing up their shift at the station when Hopper radios something like, ‘I’m at the hospital, bring me a change of clothes and something to eat. I’m going to be here for a while.’ So Callahan and Powell get some food and the clothes Hopper keeps in his office, and they go to the hospital. Hopper looks like shit, and he’s there with Nancy Wheeler and one of Will Byers’ little friends, which is weird. He’s also in the waiting room and doesn’t look like he’s able to keel over so, safe bet, someone else is.

Callahan asks who they got back there at the same time Hopper is telling them to take Wheeler and Henderson home. Hopper says, “Harrington. He got pretty banged up.”

Callahan kinda freezes, “Steve Harrington?”

Before Hopper can properly articular obviously, Steve Harrington, Callahan is already halfway down the corridor. Hopper asks what his problem is and Powell is just like, “Man, that’s his nephew.”

Especially, again, with Philip Bradley being the District Attorney for Victor’s trial in the Weekly Watcher timeline? And especially with the stolen garden gnomes vs the stolen baby jesus vs patty being referred to as “the girl he (mr newby) stole)” vs becky ives talking about how “the big bad man stole jane away” vs henward being stolen from victor on the night of the murders vs the whole “stolen child” thing with changelings and walter calling patty a “foundling”?

And how does all THAT connect to Phillip Cunningham (Chrissy’s dad) being so paralleled to Victor?

And how does all that connect subtext-wise to the creels going to st philips church in the indianapolis gazette timeline? Vs Mr Newby seemingly running the unnamed church in TFS but also not being a priest despite being listed as father newby initially?

And how does all of this tie to Hatch talking about bradley vs brantley at pennhurst?

Extra headcanons to give the characters more depth.

SBI is canon: wilbur came out as pansexual to tommy and techno in the pogtopia arc, wilbur came out to phil via letters during the pogtopia arc. wilbur came out as bigender after he was revived (to everyone on the smp because he wanted people to use the correct pronouns for her.) tommy came out originally to phil, wilbur, and techno as bisexual before the dsmp but later figured out he was a biromantic demisexual when he first joined dsmp (and of course told phil, techno, wilbur, and tubbo). techno casually came out as aroace to phil, tommy, and wilbur, when they were all sat around at the diner table before they joined dsmp. Also of course everyone was accepting. Wilbur and tommy have wings, but tommy lost his during exile because dream cut them off so he couldn't run away (im sorry for the angst but oh well) and wilbur never lost his. (And the reason you cant see wilbur's wings in my fanart of him of a long time ago is because one: im lazy and its hard to draw wings, and two: he can retract his wings in his back)

Jack is a robot/cyborg: I personally like the idea of jack being a cyborg/robot, probably because im a fnaf fan, I also like to think that niki made him and thats why they were so close (before the smp he came out as trans to niki and she supported him of course) I also like the idea that he looked really human but because of his canon deaths his skin was damaged so you could see the robotic side of him, Also if you cant remember his first canon death was by wilbur, he was burned to death by him and I like to think the fire damaged the skin on his arm and thats how everyone found out he was a cyborg, his second canon death was by tommy on accident, tommy pushed jack in the lava in the nether and from that, thats why you can see his right side all robotic like because the lava burned his skin off. He also came out as bisexual to niki before the smp. (Also can people stop sleeping on jacks character because he is literally one of the coolest characters.) Also his third canon death was by techno, he and techno were having a dual during doomsday, and because of that he lost his right eye and had to tell niki to make another one, of which looked really robotic because she didn't have the resources to make a human looking eye. Jack also went to hell and had to complete different challenges to be revived which is canon btw. (And sense he didn't get revived by the revive book, I dont think he would have a white streak in his hair, and i know that jack doesn't have hair but you can still dye it, take irl billzo for example)

Tubbo's related to schlatt: I like to think that schlatt is c!tubbo's biological dad because both of them are ram/goats, and that schlatt thought he was straight, (thats why tubbo is schlatt's son even tho I headcanon schlatt to be gay) schlatt was also homophobic and transphobic and thats why tubbo when he was 15 he ran away from home (because he told schlatt he was gay and trans but schlatt didn't except him, tho later on schlatt was more accepting of him and actually used the right pronouns and stuff) later on phil found tubbo in a box and basically adopted him, also something cute I'd like to add to the clingyduo headcanon is that tubbo before he met tommy wore a green handkerchief while tommy wore a red handkerchief but when they met and became friends they switched their handkerchiefs so even when their far away from each other they would still remember each other😊.

Lazer, vikk, corpse, pokimane, lilnas x, ninja, ksi and Michaelmcchill will be excluded from this because they logged on there like once. And for anyone wondering AMAB means a person that was born male; AFAB means a person that was born female; AIAB means a person that was born intersex. I chose a question mark for c!Callahan's AGAB because we basically know nothing about their character and their irl self.

Also as a reminder these are CHARACTER headcanons and NOT content creator, do NOT speculate actual people's sexualities and gender identities!!!

(Also its kinda sad to know that most of these people I dont even watch anymore, really the only ones I watch now are wilbur, dadza, techno, tommy, charlie, jack, and on rare occasions i watch the dream team, eret, tubbo, and quackity but even then I rarely watch tommy now, maybe its because im getting older? I honestly dont know why :( )

This post is for a very specific group of people

Headcanon that the dreamsmp was the first island owned by the federation, but it went horribly wrong (entire thing went boom.. multiple times..) so they just decided to redo it and "reset" a few of the survivors (Phil, BBH, Q, Tubbo, Foolish, Niki etc.).

The resetting didn't go quite as planned, because the eldritch horrors still kept some of their memories, although few (Foolish and BBH).

C!Dream was basically the dsmp version of Cucurucho (but gone mad); with C!Callahan being the dsmp version of the QSMP duck and Sam Nook being the Walter Bob of the world. (a.o. Sketchers, Fungi, Mars and Beckerson briefly served the purpose of the eggs but it went horribly south).

They got rid C!Tommy, because he was one of the main reasons everyone was going apeshit, and nerfed the players by giving them eggs to take care of so that nuclear explosions that could possibly end the world would be less likely (Also to hopefully stop Philza from starting an anarchist group.. It's not going well..).

They knew that BBH would lose it without Skeppy, but since Skeppy died by the egg they had to get.. creative. They put his soul into a diamond block because if they gave him his human body back it would be infected by the egg, which would cause the return of the Eggpire.

Meaning if BBH ever succeeds in giving Skeppy a vessel, he would doom the entire island to deal with the sickness once more.

• Being the child of Hopper, you would have just thought he was a pretty average parent during the time he looked after you. It’s only after he supposedly “dies” and is no longer around that you really start to appreciate how much he looked out for you and how much he tried his best under the circumstances.

• Callaghan and Powell would have been pretty well known to you before Hopper was gone. Not only did they work with him on a close basis and were friends, but also seemed to be important enough in both of your lives for them to have become God Fathers in the event of a tragedy. So, despite the terrible situation, you were still able to have been taken in by the both of them to a comfortable environment you knew well.

• Neither of them really grasp the concept of privacy quite like other people’s guardians would due to trying to keep an eye on you after Hopper was no longer around while also making sure you behave yourself, obviously using their jobs as leverage. If you’re ever out of line, just know that these two will be called immediately.

• Despite this, they’re both pretty nice to be around and they do try their best to look after you as best as you can. It may seem overbearing as you’re no longer a small child, but you must admit that Callaghan’s humour would make you laugh and give you comfort at times.

• Powell would probably be the one to take charge and be the one to have more serious conversations with you while Hopper wasn’t around. You’re growing up so he wants you to be educated and smart about certain situations if he’s able to make sure of it. And he’s probably the one you would go to for some genuine advice about serious topics if you really need to.

• They may struggle to understand and connect with you at times, as you’re a teenage girl, so you can’t really blame them for struggling at times. But they do try their best. When Hopper miraculously turns back up and is shown to be very much alive you’re all obviously thrilled, but this also means you’ll probably spend more time with all three of them in the future (not only to show gratitude but for also realising how good of people they actually are towards you).

Marlene Carver, Daughter of Jason Carver and Tammy Thompson;

Trigger warnings; underage drinking, one night stands, and tattoos.

Her full name is Marlene Christine Carver.

She is fifteen years old.

She is the daughter of Tammy Thompson and Jason Carver (and the result of a grief-filled, one night stand a couple years after Chrissy died).

This resulted in a loveless (but cordial, friendly) marriage because Jason knew he was never gonna be able to move on from Chrissy (he was right) and Tammy didn’t care who she married as long as she was married (so her parents would stop asking pushy questions).

Her best friend is thirteen year old Marshall ‘Flex’ Hagan. 

Marlene is a cheerleader and one of the most popular girls in school. 

She also does ballet and is a big fan of pop and country music (as well as musicals).

She loves farming, shopping, gardening, and singing (and she is a good singer but thinks otherwise because she thinks that her mother is a good singer).

Oh and she’s also a total foodie (despite sucking at cooking) and a theater kid. 

She is an only child and her parents’ pride and joy (even though Laura Cunningham went all nutty and kept calling her ‘her grandbaby’ and called Tammy a ‘evil child stealing homewrecker’ to everyone who would listen). 

Marlene is also slightly religious and is a perfect example of ‘looks like a cinnamon roll and is a cinnamon roll.’

She is an angry crier.

She has a crush on Nova Bingham.

She is good at turning pitchforks and other gardening tools into weapons and actually manages to look intimidating while wielding them. 

Her favorite musicians are Taylor Swift, Rodney Atkins, and Kelsea Ballerini.

She also resembles Chrissy quite a bit at first glance which confuses the fuck out of people. 

Marlene has a higher alcohol tolerance than Zane Callahan but none of the upside down crew’s kids are gonna admit that because none of them want to explain WHY they know that. 

She is surprisingly fast—even when barefoot or in heels—and is basically a human furnace for her friends because she is naturally warm. Not that she minds because she likes cuddles.

She swears like a sailor but only her friends know that. 

She is a sweetheart and graceful and polite but has been known to make bullies cry. 

Also one time when the group got drunk while their parents were away, Marlene and Marshall ended up with matching tattoos and the entire group has sworn to take that secret to their graves because they don’t want to deal with the wraith of the Carvers and the Hagans. 

Marshall is the closest thing to a sibling she has.

She grew up getting horseback lessons and is very well versed in taking care of horses and getting them to listen to her.

And she has an extensive collection of stuffed animals—especially the mini ones. She loves them and cannot get enough of them.

These headcanons take place in my Stranger Things au 'Cats in the Cradle'. In that au, Tommy and Carol are left to raise Steve's four infant children with the help of the Upside Down Crew, Steve's half brother, Steve's younger cousin, and their collective families.

Also Marlene loves her name and really wishes people would stop comparing her to Chrissy.

She is one of the last of the older teen's kids to find out about the upside down.

In that au, Jason and Eddie live. Max is less seriously injured.

Phil Callahan is Steve's older half brother.And Chrissy, her brother, and Fred Benson were Steve's cousins.

Oh and Steve hooked up with one of his pre-nancy girlfriends and after his death she found herself pregnant with quads that Steve never got to meet.

firstly i am So Incredibly Honored to be considered an out there artist that is Fantastic News that i will treasure forever n ever. secondly i think so? i definitely have some i've never seen anyone else do before but i think that's mainly b/c i like to develop my own hc's n lore for mc. i'll consult my List Of Headcanons n put any that i think are niche here:

antfrost: cat familiar [ as in like. the animals that help witches w/ magic stuff ]

boomer: frog familiar

callahan: living end rod Or living command block [ i haven't decided yet; leaning towards the latter tho ]

charlie: living slime block [ for now at least. he's one of the ones i need to think harder about tbh ]

lazarbeam: living cookie [ i really don't have any strong feelings on this guy whatsoever but this hc is so silly to me that i have to bring it up ]

Headcanons I

- So during his(Wilbur’s) revival it was storming right? and the wind was blowing?

- Well that was Wil's chat coming back into being because of him being dead and them being dormant and the wind going batshit crazy when Wil's revived

- Ranboo's chat always has fallen down engraved into their minds and they basically hum it or try to communicate with Ranboo when he's sad. (Pre Death)

- Dream's mask was given to him by Sam and taken away during prison arc

- Phil has a dedicated forest with bird houses for his chat

- Tubbo still sometimes can't see through his right eye due to the fireworks and Ranboo has to help him (Pre Death)

- Techno has aesthetic days where he just vibes on the porch on a snowy morning with a tea and a shawl wrapped around his shoulders

- Purpled was pulled from his home in the sky by DreamXD and plopped to the smp so he replicated his ship to remind him of home.

- Puffy is Dream and Foolish's mom

- Foolish plays hide and seek with DreamXD

- DreamXD hides in space

- Foolish gives up after an hour of searching and resorts to laying in the sand, waiting for XD to get bored

- Jschlatt like to mix protein powder and alcohol in a blender and maybe a tiny bit of drugs(?)

- Sam liked to whistle a small tune while walking to the prison some mornings when he woke up with no stress or issues.

- Bad likes to coddle the egg like a mother hen sometimes, it gives him a sense of responsibility.

- Skeppy supports this and during Bad's "mother" moments Skeppy makes sure he eats and drinks water.

- Tommy has nightmares that Dream is chasing after him through the woods.

- Ranboo used to toss Michael in the air and play airplane with him, Tubbo being the co-pilot.

- Tommy sat in the snow beach with Michael and made snow-sand castles, per Michael's request

- Fundy's chat is little furs stuck to his clothes

-Imagine it:

- Fundy trying to do something and his chat getting angry and all of the little hairs poofing up in his face.

- Niki has a little fridge out in the woods that she keeps animal food in and three times a week she feeds the deer and animals

- Callahan is another god alongside XD but likes the feeling of doing things like mortals do

- Eret wears heels to go do some outdoors work like building

- Followed by a very poofy outfit that gets in the way but they never complain.

- Punz claims he doesn't make friends or gets attached but he is secretly best friends with a small rabbit living near the community house and feeds and spends time with the rabbit in secret so the rabbit won't be hurt.

- He gets more attached when the rabbit had children

- Ponk has a robotic arm, given to him by Callahan

- Sam has reoccurring nightmares of the prison

- Tommy constantly moves his belongings from chest to chest in fear that Dream will find it and burn/blow it up.

- Ends up misplacing said things until Techno, Phil, or Ghostbur finds them on accident

- Tommy collects small rocks and paints them in accordance to his friends.

- Makes an angry Dream rock

- Throws said rock away

- Finds said rock and repaints it to be Michael

- Eret was the one to teach Michael to transform because she wanted to become a teacher before becoming the ruler

Ranboo was found by Lizzie thinking he was just some weird looking cat.

There are quite a few people that aren’t from their empire, Eg; Techno, Phil, Skephalo Family, Tango, all of Olipoligo and so on.

No matter what season of empires it is, Grian will always be stuck in Jimmy’s empire. Probably a second in command of sorts.

I saw a headcanon for Jack that he was Scott’s assistant back in season 1 so I think that carries over to season 2.

Residents of Olipoligo travel a lot and it’s not a permanent residence for any of them, especially the musicians.

Dream, Sapnap and George are childhood friends and regularly play manhunt together. Bad joined after some property damage was caused. Ant and Sam also joined not long after.

Scar is a bandit and usually sweet talks his way out of an arrest.
