while previously adam has stated he knows jesper better than he knows himself and because of that he knows how to talk to him to motivate him, jesp admits that just having adam's presence is motivation enough

compartive skillsets: jesper is the better overall skater (which is true considering the amount of times adam has fallen on his ass because hes blown an edge multiple times each game lmao), and the better puckhandler. adam is the better backwards skater (lol) though jesper does compliment his skating and puckhandling as well but most importantly he highlights his passing abilities and the way he moves on the blueline

in floorball jesper won most of the times but adam says as he got older he mostly won (to which jesper is like lol no i dont know about that i dont think hes won yet down there)

adam quips they put up a mattress on the wall while they played so they could check each other (which also LMAO THEIR POOR PARENTS) and that they always invited the neighbours over to play

favourite memory of the season so far together? adam says the first game. jesp says the first day they were down here together. he also adds every game so far too because they get to walk down the tunnel together

the charr have some really cool things going on musically. it's sometimes a little hard to discern what goes where on the overworld map because stuff gets assigned to odd places to fulfil the need for battle themes, etc, but there are a few interesting things.

the charr starting instance has this music playing which is a good summation of the kind of things that follow the charr around, that is to say strings, brass and driving percussion. these things aren't unique to them, certainly, but if it sounds particularly warlike it's probably associated with the charr in the ost. if that melody seems very familiar, that's because it is, it shows up again in charr triumphant (you've probably heard it during tequatl). there are a lot of songs associated with the charr and it's worth skipping around the og ost for them. that low, kind of oppressive music you hear in the citadel is actually smodur's theme. again, low horns, sweeping strings, heavy percussion but like way off in the distance. industrial sounding. all this to say that legion charr, specifically, have a really distinct sound to them. but these songs are from when the game initially launched and things change, as everything does, in time

in the beginning of season five, they make a point to reinforce these elements and how they're specific to charr. the grothmar songs are full of these things to really hammer it home. you probably don't notice you're making the association.

when the frost legion arrives, it takes all your associations and breaks them over its knee. it's like charr music times 1000%. to hammer home just how freakish and unnatural they are, electronic synths get introduced, as does the shrill, horror movie strings you hear in bjora marches. as you creep further and further down the soundtrack the charr elements eventually melt into a kind of indistinct mess. this is a charr theme that has completely forgotten how to do its job, it's slurry, slush, core components running and bumping into each other and never getting anywhere because jormag has completely subsumed their legion. about five minutes in horns briefly trill like it might get started and it never does. why would it? they're not charr anymore

Woodworking or metalworking tools seem like part of your wheelhouse.

A rasp file on bone, drills of various types, a sanding belt, chiselling patterns into the bones like a living wood carving. Epoxy resin. Band saw. The sawdust extractor fans are ideal for removing large amounts of dust.

Supergluing bones together. Cosmetic cracks in skulls. I can see people forcing cracks into their bitties or gold teeth for that edgy or horror aesthetic. File a normal bitty's teeth/claws sharp.

Shocked you haven't written bitties in a fighting ring get, possibly bitty vs bitty, or bitty vs dogs. Pretty much dog fighting, but bitties.

yes yes yes!! my go-to when i think about bitty torture is usually workshop or craft stuff. there's so many tools out there and so many ways to use them... it's probably obvious but i'm partial using a bitty as/for creative material. bitties aren't for companionship, they're for fashion accessories, home decor, art exhibits, etc.

also... i'm loving the idea of fucking a bitty up for purely aesthetic reasons, especially the cosmetic cracks concept. hear me out... kintsugi but with bitties

I had the opportunity to see Boys from the Blackstuff at the west end in London! Absolutely amazing experience and brilliant performances.

The show was heart wrenching, powerful, and of course with great portrayal of Liverpool life in the 80s. the whole cast brought an incredible energy to the stage and characters. The stage was filled with life and it was truly an experience to see first hand the crafts of the actors, specifically in the London theatre industry. I was reallyyyy close to the stage, and the view couldn’t be better.

I was able to meet, talk, and take pictures w pookie Barry, totally kept it cool :”) made my night and perfect way to end my last night in London <3
