@phcking-coffee-lover
The android just snapped, as if someone else took over his body. All that he remembered was pushing the woman off of her son. The boy ran upstairs to his room and looked the door. The man punched the android in the face and stumped on his body. “How dare you push my wife you worthless shit can!” He got ontop of the android and started choking him. He lost consciousness, now coming back into his senses and looked down at the dismembered bodies of his owners. His LED was glowing a crimson red.
He was covered in blood and was completely speechless. “Allen....” He headed upstairs and knocked on the door lightly. “Allen.... Can you open the door?” The door unlocked and the boy held onto him tightly. “I’m scared....” The android picked him up. “I am too.” They left the house, covering the boy’s eyes so he wouldn’t see the bodies and left the house.
They had to stay in a abandoned house because android’s weren’t allowed in motels. The boy was shivering and Looked up at the android. “J-Jun... I’m c-cold....” The android just finished changing out of his clothes and grabbed a decent looking blanket. He headed downstairs and wrapped the boy in it. Allen was still shivering, but not as bad, so he wrapped his arms and the little one, rubbing his head gently. “I’m sorry for the discomfort you’re enduring Allen.” The boy smiled softly and shook his head. “It’s okay, thank you for saving me from Mama.” Jun nodded and hummed a lullaby for the boy, in a minute or two, the boy fell asleep.
The next day, the android was carrying Allen around the city for something to eat. The boy was shivering still, he could had gotten sick.

It’s the very end of a day that should have been more important. That doesn’t mean it wasn’t eventful! Almost everything went wrong, leaving Connor feeling drained, hopeless, and tired once he finally got home. The front door clicked open, Connor entering the house with a chin stained with Thirium, messy clothes and hair, and a blank, weighed expression. He set his jacket on the floor, kicked off his shoes, and wobbled to his room, finding the present surprise waiting there for him.

Gavin had planed a few things he wanted to do with Nines. But he didn't know when should he ask, plus some of them he was just sceard to ask about. He and Nines were getting three days off so he thought it was a great chance...
At Friday morning, their first day off, he drove in front of Nines' apartment. He climbed out of the car and walked to the door, knocking. He was a little bit excited. He liked Nines. As he did rest of androids but he couldn't quite show it at work and around Hank, so he just wanted to take Nines somewhere as a apologize for how he talked to him at work. It wasn't a date, was it?

Gavin was mosftly asleep now and didn't really have any way to listen to other. He snored softly one the couch and from time to time mumbled somethig in his dream, cuddling to the closest pillow onthe couch. The cats relaxrd and purred softly, looking at Gavin.
Connor finished up with caring for the cats, extra pets included before returning to the couch.
He noticed the cat trying to pull a blanket over their human in and paused. There was no way he was going to tuck Gavin in. He already drove him home, practically carried him in, and fed his cats!
But…
He couldn’t just leave him on the couch could he?
He could. He absolutely could but Pearl’s persistence with the blanket and soft mews made him think otherwise.
Connor fetched a blanket and draped it over Gavin. “I’ll be leaving now, detective. In the future try not to work yourself to the point of passing out.”

If he was honest with himself, he had no idea how this was at all possible. Looking up from his desk, was a tiny android, not even a foot tall. If he estimated correctly he could only assume around 10 inches tall.
"....I can only wonder how to remedy this problem before Detective Reed shows up for work..." though the likelihood was that Gavin was somehow responsible for this.

CALYPSO 🐚 ☕️
Part 1 & Part 2
Part 3/3:
Nines froze as the human’s body melded to his. Gavin kept his eyes shut and his lips moving. Then what he’d been bracing for finally came.
Pain.
Sweet glorious pain, blossoming everywhere Nines gripped his body. Gavin was sure that his lips would bruise under the pressure of the reciprocal kiss… that his rib cage would shatter if Nines held him any tighter… that his lungs would burst if they didn’t fill with air soon…
A wolf-whistle broke through the stunned silence in the yard.
Gavin pulled back, light-headed from the rush of oxygen and drain of adrenaline. He didn’t fall though. Didn’t even move an inch. Strong arms and a heated gaze kept him pinned.
//
\\
“Of all the things in the world… why coffee?”
“I could ask you the same.”
Gavin tucked his head into the crook of Nines’ neck, cuddling closer.
“Hmm… I think weird working hours made me actually need the caffeine… but the bean snobbery just came with the rest of my superiority complexes.”
Nines laughed. It was more of an exhale than an actual laugh, but Gavin was thankful for it nonetheless.
“And you?”
Nines kissed his forehead, prolonging his answer as much as he could before finally relenting with a sigh.
“The reason you’re asking… is because running a café is just about the last thing you’d expect an android like me to be doing. And… that’s your answer. That’s exactly why I wanted it.”
“To subvert expectations…?”
“To not be the terrible thing I was meant to be.”
Gavin’s breath hitched at the depth of emotion in Nines’ voice. He didn’t dare look up to meet his eye and settled for pressing his lips to the razor-sharp jawline.
“I dunno what kinda code runs through you, but believe me when I say you don’t have it in you to be… terrible.”
Nines scoffed at that.
“How can you say that after all the shit you’ve seen me do.”
“I can say that after all the shit I’ve seen others do. Fifteen years on the job, remember? I can vouch that righteous anger is one of the least terrible things out there.”
When Nines didn’t respond, Gavin decided to move the ship out of uncharted waters. He propped himself up on an elbow and ran a hand down the android’s smooth chest.
“In fact, I think it’s downright sexy.”
That did the trick. Nines pressed Gavin into the mattress with a low growl and rolled over him, clamping his mouth over his throat. Their hips aligned and the conversation ended.
//
\\
“Ralph tried hard but the machine is not working. Ralph is stuck.”
“Move. Let me see.”
Gavin took the filter holder and disconnected it from the espresso machine with a firm tug. He leapt away in shock as water came rushing out. That was absolutely not supposed to happen.
“Er… I’ll get a mechanic friend to take a look later. Why don’t you go check on inventory?”
Ralph shuffled away with a thoroughly sceptical look in his eye. Gavin sighed openly once the android was out of earshot.
The café was in shambles.
The vandals may have gotten as good as they gave… but they’d left their mark. Even with insurance, there was no way such a new establishment could financially recover from a setback like that.
Nines said nothing but seethed with his usual brand of silent, impotent rage.
Unable to bear the slammed car doors and dismissive grunts any longer, Gavin had taken a solo day off to come down to the Calypso and see what could be done.
Not much, without a boatload of money, it seemed.
He sat down with a sigh and Ralph brought over a cup of coffee. Black. A pour-over. He set a bowl of runny eggs and a small basket of bread down on the table too.
Gavin looked up in surprise. Ralph shrugged.
“Nines is telling Ralph that you left without breakfast. Ralph’s equipment is all broken so Ralph just made something simple.”
Touched beyond words, Gavin motioned for Ralph to sit down with him instead of scurrying off into the shadows as per his usual habit.
He took a sip of the hand-poured drip coffee and broke a piece of the bread, dragging it through the eggs, European style. It was utterly homely and reminded of him of some bygone era that he’d needlessly bypassed. He looked up and met Ralph’s mildly unsettling stare.
“So… why the name Calypso? There’s nothing beach-themed or Caribbean about the place.”
“Nines chose it. After the Greek goddess.”
“Huh. And she was the goddess of coffee? Did they even have coffee back in those Hercules Orgy Olympics days?”
“She is a sea nymph. She detained the mythic hero Odysseus on her island for seven years.”
Gavin’s brows furrowed as he swallowed a mouthful of fresh bread.
“Did you bake this?”
“Yes. Ralph is baking daily. Ralph does it first thing in the morning at five. It is very calming to knead the dough and hear the birdsong.”
“It’s phcking delicious. Leavened perfectly. Now back to the name. This goddess nymph creature. She doesn’t sound very nice. She trapped this hero dude, right? Reminds me of my ex. Why name this pretty café after her?”
“Ralph can only imagine that Nines’ fascination with Calypso is the ambiguity of her nature. She can seduce and manipulate, but she can also heal. She is neither good nor evil.”
Gavin drained his coffee and sank back in his chair contemplatively.
“What do you think she is, Ralph?”
Ralph’s LED flickered and his eyes dipped to the table. He knew what Gavin was asking.
“Calypso is immortal. Calypso cannot help but fall in love with every sailor who lands on her shores. Calypso dreams of an eternal husband but lets Odysseus go when it’s clear he wishes to return to his wife. Well, maybe only when the Gods commands her to… but she releases him without harm!”
Gavin waited. Ralph’s head snapped up and he spoke in a short burst.
“Calypso is mythical. It does not matter what she is. Nines is real. Nines is good. Very good. Honest and honourable! Ralph will do anything for Nines!”
Gavin leaned back in his chair with the satisfied smile of an experienced police negotiator who’d gotten exactly where he wanted to.
//
\\
“What the hell is this? Where did you get so much money from?”
Nines’ amber LED cycled furiously as he took in the sight of the restored café. Ralph was humming to himself as he proudly polished the knobs of their repaired espresso machine.
Gavin led Nines by the hand to look at the repainted walls… the new furniture… the new crockery replacing what had been smashed…
“How…?”
“Oh I just embodied my inner Gen Z and tapped into the power of social justice.”
Nines looked thoroughly nonplussed.
“Crowdfunding, baby. I set up a link and Ralph told everyone on Twitter what happened to him and the café. Well, showed them, more like.”
Nines looked up at the ceiling and his LED slowly returned to a calm blue as he understood… but when he looked back down, his expression wasn’t any less troubled.
“Okay I just saw it. Edited footage from his optical units and a tearful testimonial. Ethically questionable, but clever.”
“Super effective. We overshot our target by a couple hundred bucks.”
“Hmm. People are kind.”
“Yes. They’ve actually done more for you. Look. Connor gave me this earlier today.”
Gavin reached into his jacket and produced an envelope. Nines’ eyes widened as he spotted the official seals of the Mayor’s office, the Manfred Estate and New Jericho.
“Someone started a petition… to let you back behind the helm of the Calypso. It really took off. I don’t know how you didn’t hear-”
“I muted any mentions of myself and the other RKs from showing up in my newsfeed.”
“Then this makes for a good surprise.”
Gavin gently pushed the envelope into the android’s hands and watched him open it with a precise fingernail flicked under the wax. He scanned the contents of the letter in a split second and let it fall through his fingers.
Without warning, he scooped Gavin up and set him down on a polished table for a deep kiss of even deeper gratitude. Ralph turned his back on them with a bashful giggle.
//
\\
“Baby.”
Nines didn’t respond.
“Hey baby?”
“Hmm...”
There was an intensity to the grumble that had Gavin second-guessing whether to persist. Being Nines’ lover didn’t exempt him from the consequences of asking stupid questions.
“Your thoughts are fucking loud. Just say whatever you want to.”
“Oh. Um… I was actually wondering… I mean, you don’t have to tell me… but like why… um…”
“Why haven’t I turned my badge in yet?”
“Yeah…”
Nines turned on his side and brushed the back of his hand over Gavin’s cheek. The intimate gesture sent a thrill through the human despite how much more intimate they’d just been in the recent past.
“Because I haven’t decided what to do next.”
Gavin’s brows knitted together.
“What do you mean? Aren’t you going to take back your business?”
Nines’ wan smile told him all he needed to know.
“Why?”
“It’s doing really well in Ralph’s hands. He’s capable. He’s creative. And I don’t think it’s fair for me to go back and get in his way all of a sudden.”
“He needs you.”
“He absolutely doesn’t. It’s his café. You helped him get back on his feet and he’s going to be fiiiiine without me.”
“Is it because you don’t wanna be her anymore?”
Nines scrunched his nose up in confusion.
“Who?”
“Calypso. The siren who trapped the Oddball.”
That earned Gavin a heartfelt laugh.
“Odysseus, Gavin.”
“Yeah. You were like Calypso and now you’re letting go of the coffeeshop because you figured it wasn’t meant to be!”
Nines frowned and pretended to check the human for a temperature. Gavin swatted his hands away with mock petulance.
“Fine, I’m probably way off the mark. You tell me what the deal is then!”
Arms snaked around his waist and pulled him flush against the android’s defined chest. Lips brushed the shell of his ear and when Nines spoke next, it was in the huskiest of undertones.
“I’m Odysseus. Not Calypso.”
The realisation was painfully obvious in hindsight.
“I’m the one who’s stuck on an endless journey home. I’ve faced a hundred artificial trials and tribulations. I’ve been a puppet at the hands of false gods. I answer existential questions to prove my self-worth every single day.”
Nines paused to gauge Gavin’s reaction. When he received none, he pressed a brief kiss to the human’s bare shoulder before continuing.
“It’s been a long journey. But not a pointless one. Every metaphorical island I’ve visited has granted me something. From literally running into Ralph in an old building… to defending our turf from other stray androids… getting ourselves off the street… setting up a café from scratch… being arrested on opening day… ending up on the police force with you…”
Gavin recognised that as his cue to squirm around in Nines’ arms and peck him on the lips.
“So who’s Cyclops?”
“What?”
“The story’s starting to come back to me now. Your boy Oddy fought a one-eyed monster on one of the islands he went to. Who’s the Cyclops in your story?”
Nines huffed another breathy laugh.
“Markus, probably. Connor is definitely Helios.”
“Who’s your wife?”
“Definitely not you.”
Gavin elbowed him in the ribs. An action that had more repercussions on him than Nines.
“So which island are you off to next?”
“I have no idea. But it doesn’t matter. I might already be home.”

-Connor stands outside the Captains office with his hand still hanging off the handle behind him, expression blank as he processes what was just ordered of him. Androids are free, but that means Connor has to work for his earnings, and that means following the bosses orders. ..Whether he’s fond of them or not. Today, he was placed on a missing persons case. A few, actually. They all seem to be interlocked with one another, making it one big case file. And.. Of course, one small detective can’t do this himself... So.. Fowler ordered he take a smaller detective with him. One that Connor, truth be told, is quite frightened of.-
-Removing his hand from the door and finally setting off, Connor exhaled as he began strolling to Detective Reeds desk. Once it was in sight, he stopped and awkwardly stood there from afar, holding the file in both hands as a kind of body-guard. Connor huffed and continued onward, placing the file down onto the mans desk softly.-
“Detective Reed. You and i have been assigned as.. Partners..” He sheepishly spoke, “I would appreciate it if you looked through this before we get started.”

Since the epidemy blowed up, Gavin ran out of his town with what little he found and began looking for place to hide. It was already 3 months since he ran away from zombies. All that he had now was a few sandwiches and a bottle of water in his backpack and a gun that was attached to his belt, with small amount of ammo.
He kept himself away from bigger cities. He didn't want to ran into some huge hord of zombies. When he was running along some road, he heard a few cracks of leaves behind himself. It was a Clicker...
He crouched down and slowly came a little closer, aiming his gun and when he was sure that this shot will kill the creature he fired. Did he listen if there was other zombies? Of course not! Now he could hear them even too much.
There was a lot of Runners. He began running as fast as he could just to get away and be safe. When 3 minutes of running passed he ran into some forest. He looked over his shoulder to see how many was after him but then he felt a root under his leg as it twisted his ankle and made him shout in pain. It was stuck! No matter how hard he tried to pull it out he just couldn't and the zombies were closer with every second passing. Was it his end?

Evynn had been sitting at a desk, looking through the files of cases. Catching other deviants was something she had to do a couple times a week according to her Cyberlife deal. She usually picks one based on interest or just by random. When she finally chose a file, reading all the info on the case, she stood up. While she was out, Jade has asked if she could grab a snack from the break room for her, and Evynn had said yes. She walked into the room, looking at the mini snacks they had to offer.
@ask-the-lonely-deviant
Gavin had a pretty exhausing day. Fowler didn't want to stop shouting at him for not catching some man that stole earrings. Oh come on! They were the cheapest anyway! When he finally ended being shouted at, ot was time for a heaven. Coffee.
He went to the breakroom, rubbing his face tiredly, bags under his eyes were at their record size as was his days without sleep; he went to 10 day without sleep! He had to force himself to stand and don't crash into some table. He would kill for coffee... and here was his first target. An android, he could see the LED, he liked androids, but there were people around so... reputation! "Ey tin-can!" He shouted at the android and leaned against the table. "Bring me a coffee dipshit!"

Gavin knew, being outside on crime scene without jacket in rain wasn't a good choice. But he still did it and no one stopped him. How did it end? You might ask. It end up with him going sick to work. Fever, runny nose, sore throut, head ache, sneezes and coughs and of vourse he didn't call in sick. What would he do it for?
Now he's at his desk. Nearly out, dark blush across his cheek from temperature and he seemed to barely sit on his chair. He didn't look good at all, but he didn't want to stop working. He's shift ended long ago, but he lose track of time and simply was refuseing to leave the office.

Connor didn’t like that... Watching Gavin become so sad, and hearing him question their relationship.. He sighed and stopped moving, reaching a hand down from behind and having his fingers find Gavins chin, guiding his gaze upwards, having himself lean forward to meet it from above with his own eyes.
“Who cares if we fit or not. I like you being rough and tough. Makes me feel protected.” He tried to reassure him, backing up and continuing to move the chair forward. “I know that we work. We might not fit, but we work. All we need to do to make a relationship work is to feel the same about each other. And, I know I really, reaaally like you, Gavin.” He gave a small play, giggling after speaking.
RP PARTNER: @c0nr800
Gavin was just at his apartment, going through stuff he didn't need anymore, since he wasn't a human anymore. Food, beverages, exc. He could give them to some homeless or to some charity. He didn't know yet.
As he was going through the clothes that were to small he heard a large boom from the part of his apartment. People screamed and the fire alarm went off. He made a quick work to take only the important things then began helping neighbours get out.
----
The police was called. Fowler waked out of the office in hurry. "[STREET AND NUMBER OF THE BULIDING]! There was a huge explosion, we need to secure the place!" He shouted and shouted who is coming with him. Hank didn't come because of his high rank and having to keep DPD under control but Connor....
-----
Gavin was running around, helping people get out, he ran up and down, the smoke feeling his artifical lungs as he put a shirt over his nose. At least the DPD wasn't too far from there.

[Gavin's past (by me)]
//Okay so I want the truth to be showed. As I said before Hank is involved in Gavin's past and I'd like every Hank blog that wants to interact to read this post. Okay. So let's go with this shit.
Gavin had grown up in a orphanage (from the age 4). No family wanted him and he has no father or mother. From the very begining (as he was let out after he hit 18) he wanted to be a detective.
So well, he found himself in Detroit after ending the school. He lives in cheap apartament he is renting, still trying to keep thing together.
He was emploied as a officer in the DPD with Lt. Hank Anderson as a partner. Not long after he became a detective because he was really good at his job.
When Cole died (if you're a Cole blog then all Coles are changed into Hank's wife) Hank had broke down. Gavin had some bond with his teacher so he tried to cheer him up. Because of course he couldn't work aloneon cases.
One day as he came to Hank, the man was drinking at the table in his kitchen with Cole's (if you're a Cole blog: Hank's wife) picture. He wanted to talk with Hank but the man got mad, shouting about what could he know about his family and when he didn't even have one.
Yeah. It broke Gavin but he wanted to help. And then it happened. Hank got pretty mad and began to try and fight Gavin. Gavin didn't want to hurt his teacher so he just tried to wrench out of Hank's grip. He got a lot of cuts all over his body (that now are scars) and the nose scar was made when Hank threw a bottle at him. It cut him across the whole face.
Gavin run away in tears even if Hank realized what he did and tried to shout 'sorry's after him.
Gavin is still shaken after that and that's why he avoids Hank...

Gavin's cats!!!
Tumblr media
First is Cameron. He's Maine Coon and very proud but playful cat. He likes being brushed and cuddled with. He might not show that he likes you at first but fastly will get used to you and take you into his circle of friends. He's 3 years old.
Gavin found him in shelter, at first sight of him decided to adopt him as his first pet.
Tumblr media
Second is Pearl. She's a American Curl and very playful cat. Don't let her look and name fool you, she can fight really strongly and I doubt any of her enemies will go at her alone. He's 2 years old.
Gavin found her beaten up on the streets as a kitten. Had taken care of her and was ready to give her somewhere but was bonded with her too much so she stayed.
(If there will be kittens I'll add!)
