ngl i got very discouraged today because i’ve gained weight since the last time i visited the doctor about four weeks ago; i weighed in at 237 pounds today which is very not great but i just have to keep reminding myself that muscle weighs more than fat and also that all the physical activity i’ve been doing after rotting in bed for literally 6+ months isn’t going to magically make me skinnier within a single damn month 🥲

fuck, i know it likely has more to do with all the delicious garbage i ate on my trip two weeks ago, but i just ordered the med that's supposed to fix my guts, and it's like they know it's coming. i've had horrible stomach issues all week, to the point that on monday i almost couldn't eat. it's been so painful. i'm so full of toxic gas i might just float away. or spontaneously combust.

All NSAIDs can cause ulcers if not taken cautiously. Please for the love of your health, DO NOT drink alcohol while you are on medications. For a lot of medicines, it's not only bad for your liver, it can also affect the way medicines work. It can make them less effective or more toxic.

Also unless it is prescribed by a doctor, avoid taking painkillers for more than a week (7 days) especially if you're just using them over-the-counter and not for a specific diagnosis by the doctor. Even then, consult your pharmacist. We're more than just glorified educated legal drug dealers. We're also medical professionals. Pharmacists are better experts on meds than doctors are, trust me on this.
