Good morning my little blog citizens as of today I am suddenly now a 2nd grade daycare teacher but only on Sundays
#riv rambles#is that what you call people at daycare? teachers? idk that’s what my friend calls herself. but anyway#my friend works at a daycare and they’re short staffed on Sundays bc two people quit#so#she texted me ‘ur free Sundays so I’m telling my manager you’re in’ and I was like ummmm okay ig🧍♀️#I didn’t really have say in this she just voluntold me#and I went in for an ‘interview’ aka they just gave me the rundown of what I’ll be doing#and yeah! I am now a part time pharmacy intern and part time daycare teacher 💪#duality💪

I've only been on this dosage of testosterone gel for what, like, a year? how many times do I have to get it refilled before they figure out HOW MANY TO GIVE ME for a 30 DAY FUCKIN SUPPLY for FUCK'S SAKE
#'it says we gave you a 90 day supply'#no you gave my 90 packets i use 3 packets per day so thats a 30 day supply#'it says we dispensed 225'#that's 225 grams because each packet is 2.5 grams so 90 packets is 225#'one moment let me put you on hold'#'okay youre right the day supply was wrong woops we'll get that refill submitted today'#IT'S BEEN NEARLY A WEEK SINCE I PUT IN THE REFILL REQUEST AND I USED MY LAST DOSE TODAY IM SO TIRED OF PHARMACIES AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES#i didnt yell at the pharmacist i just said 'cool thank you 😊' but that last tag is what i was internally screaming#this is why i desperately wish i could go back to injections#and other reasons but this is a big one#im genuinely this close to risking anaphylaxis to just give it another try and see if my body will tolerate it properly this time#im so tired of allergy specialists being useless and doctors not giving a shit about what im asking for or what i need#all this headache to get my medication and take it every fucking day and its NOT EVEN AS EFFECTIVE AS INJECTIONS#im slathering a full 3 packets of goop equivalent to like 5 big pumps of hand sanitizer on my legs every fucking morning#and it's NOT EVEN AS CONSISTENT OR EFFECTIVE AS THE ALTERNATIVE#and i cant fucking increase the dose!!#not only will the pharmacy shit its pants even worse every single month#but i literally dont have enough skin surface area to effectively absorb that much fucking gel#im so tired#when are they gonna invent like a testicle transplant so i can make my own fuckin testosterone#i dont even want balls for like dysphoria or aesthetic reasons i literally just want the hormone to naturally occur in my body#im so fucking tired of workarounds

thinking abt quitting my job 🤗
#using my holy week days off to pause and reflect (draft my resignation letter and practice what to say to my supervisor)#i'm desperate enough to consider working at a bpo but...foreign company = no long breaks for holy week local fiestas and all souls day(s)..#i'd be so mad if i had to go to work while everyone else is taking several days off in march and november GFKDGSJDG#skl.txt#but yeah it's Bad i'm absolutely not fit for the business side of my job (that wasnt in my job description we are just so understaffed that#i have to do a bunch of other things i didnt sign up for and have no interest in doing for much longer)#also like. i interned at a hospital pharmacy serving mostly ER patients so ive got exp w high pressure and being yelled at by people#but there were enough employees and interns back then#the understaffing here is so bad that it's overwhelming me. retail workers r gods strongest soldiers bc i cant do this anymore#isang buwan na lang bounce na'ko bc a nearby hospital has a job opening and i'm gonna check it out

Switched pharmacies cuz CVS doesn’t take my insurance, and I was expecting to pay the prescription copay, but it ended up being free! Like fuck yeah I certainly pay enough for this fucking insurance, it’s about time I got SOMETHING for free
#she speaks#the American healthcare system yall#and guess what my dear international friends#it’s worse than you think#because it varies by state#and Texas has some of the worst healthcare coverage in the country#this is for my anxiety meds btw#I paid $50 self pay at cvs before I found a different pharmacy#because I made the mistake of thinking the biggest pharmacy chain in the country would take the most common insurance in the state but OH NO#anyway I paid zilch and I’m v happy about it

All NSAIDs can cause ulcers if not taken cautiously. Please for the love of your health, DO NOT drink alcohol while you are on medications. For a lot of medicines, it's not only bad for your liver, it can also affect the way medicines work. It can make them less effective or more toxic.
Also unless it is prescribed by a doctor, avoid taking painkillers for more than a week (7 days) especially if you're just using them over-the-counter and not for a specific diagnosis by the doctor. Even then, consult your pharmacist. We're more than just glorified educated legal drug dealers. We're also medical professionals. Pharmacists are better experts on meds than doctors are, trust me on this.

Stop.
Take that after a meal. Take it with a big glass of water. Don't take it on an empty stomach EVER. Don't take it with alcohol. You will destroy your stomach. You will end up with an ulcer. You will vomit blood. I'm not exaggerating.
Yes, you. Yes, it will happen to cute little you. With your cute little bottle of miracles. Ibuprofen really does that to your body.

I’m gonna need to get one of those pill counter things aren’t I
#3 pills every morning with breakfast and as soon as the pharmacy contacts me I’ll have a 4th#I’ve been carrying the bottles with me from my room to the breakfast table so I remember they exist while I have food and drink right there#but also at this point that means juggling the bottles while also not awake/caffeinated/medicated. which makes my wrists and hands sad#idk it just feels weird to realize how many drugs I’m on now. how many I’ll be on for the rest of my life#it’s not even scary ones! one of thems a normal allergy med#lol while writing this I got a notification from the pharmacy. so yeah 4 meds tomorrow morning#but yeah! idk shits wild. there’s nothing wrong with being medicated and I definitely don’t wanna go off meds#I like not sneezing all the time and being in less pain#based on how I felt yesterday my last year of school is gonna be SO much easier to handle with adhd meds#but just. idk. this might be an internalized ableism thing cuz I can’t place my finger on Why this feels weird
