From Itsuki you received- An assortment of flowers! Well…pink and white roses. There’s a bunch of them though! 

From Kanade you received: A fancy looking vase and a box of homemade cupcakes! The vase has little ghosts hand painted on it- seems like Kanade had a friend help her make it! The cupcakes have pink and white frosting on them- with little ghost sprinkles! A kanade special! You also received a big hug!

“Happy birthday mom!” The actress cheers 

“C-can i speak to you privately?” Lana suddenly spoke.

Going in to the next room Lana leans against the nearest wall with a sigh. 

“I…wanted to give this to you in private- I was worried it wouldn’t come in soon enough”

From Lana you received: A shimmering diamond necklace- with a small diamond butterfly pendant. 

You also received a hand written note.

Dear mom

          This is probably going to come off as rather awkward. Considering I’m most likely giving this to you in person- it’s most definitely awkward. It’s been almost a year since you adopted Kanade and I and frankly I’m glad. Growing up all I really had was my father, he was the only parent who was proud of me and he’s gone. Arisa never saw me as her daughter- she never saw both of us as human. I almost cried the day you adopted us from that woman- the fact that I finally have a mother I can be proud of is something I’m never taking for granted. I know my gift isn’t much but it’s just a token of my appreciation. Thank you for everything mom.

Suddenly you’re pulled in for a big hug. Lana’s holding back tears as she does so.

“Happy birthday mom”

“Lana! Kanade!” Sayaka cheerfully exclaimed and quickly stepped to the side. “Come in! Come in! Oh it’s so good to see you both!” The amber eyed woman pulled both girls into a hug, beaming at both of them. Receiving Itsuki and Kanade’s gift first, Sayaka smiled brightly. “Oh these are lovely, hold on, let me put these in some water.”

Taking the flowers and vase, Sayaka quickly hurried to the kitchen and filled the vase with water and placed the flowers inside, then she went to the kitchen table and place the vase right on the center. Giving a satisfied smile, she went back to the living room to see Kanade chatting happily with Kureha and Lola and Lana looking…anxious? “Lana dear? What’s wrong?” Sayaka frowned in concerned and was surprised when Lana pulled her over to the next room.

Again, Sayaka was about to ask what was wrong until being presented with Lana’s gift. Gasping in surprise, the brunette gingerly held the diamond necklace in her hands. “Lana, this is beautiful!” Sayaka complimented and opened the letter she gave to her. She was silent as she read the letter but her expression quickly changed into one of emotion, her amber irises glimmering with unshed tears, she covered her mouth to try to keep her sobs at a minimum and was about to wrap Lana in a hug had she not beaten to her to the punch-er, hug.

Sayaka held her back tightly. “Oh Lana, adopting you was the greatest gift I’ve ever gotten. I could only hope to be a mother worthy of you and Kanade. You’re both so precious to me and I would never trade either of you for anything, you’re both my wonderful daughter and I love you so much. Thank you.”

Tomi, more than likely, his greed would be the main reason he'd up captured. And no offense, but I think he'd probably be one of the first people to wind up dead, unfortunately. He is not a "survival" person.

Karada, his insatiable lust would be his downfall. His physique may aid him in some of the challenges the killer would have planned. But more than likely, he'd wind up dead for being too simple and dim-witted.

Luis, aside from his short temper, him ending in the challenge would be a shock. If he escaped, it would be by the skin of his teeth. He can be calm when he needs to be, but in a situation like this, tempers flaring wouldn't be much of a surprise.

You hear the lightest set of knocks at the front door.

Opening it reveals the two Kagawa sisters.

“Happy birthday Rintaro-san” Megumi bows politely.

“Taro! Happy birthday!! We come with presents! Mizu couldn’t make it since her and Ayumi have a really important job to go out on or something- she didn’t really give me many details”

From Ayaka you received- a pair of sunglasses and a leather jacket 

“I thought you could use these- I don’t know if looking at fire or an explosion for too long could hurt your eyes so the sunglasses might help! As for the jacket…that’s just for cool points”

From Mizuki you received- A lighter! Upon flicking it on the flame glows a rainbow color.

There’s a note with it 

“Useful for lighting small explosives and small enough to hide from your parole officer. Happy birthday from the Sato family” - Sweet devil

From Mizuki you received- a pair of leather gloves, and a pocket watch

You also received- a hug from both sisters 

Opening the door with a sigh, Rintaro knew this was another gift for him. You’d think someone like him wouldn't get any gifts but surprise surprise he was popular today. Noticing it was the Kagawa sisters Rintaro faintly smiled. He would never admit it but he had a soft spot for the two. 

Their gifts were nice too. Saga had all gotten him something he would genuinely enjoy. When was the last time Rintaro had people genuinely care for him? Not in a long time at least. It had always been him doing things for people. Well, at least it was back then. Always Rintaro doing odd jobs to get money to survive. Always Rintaro having to clean up after Father when he was too drunk to do anything. Always Rintaro doing shady shit in an attempt to find Akari. Always. Always. Always Him. Is it any wonder he cracked?

Not noticing his spiral Ayaka and Megumi hugged him bringing Rintaro back to the present. 

“Alright, alright, you two thanks,” Rintaro says, patting both of their heads as they hugged him. “Come on in, the Old Man is making dinner.”

It’s becoming a semi regular occurrence to see Kyoko in Shizuoka. Usually she’s hanging out with Reika but today- she wanted to pay a visit to her favorite gang leader!

“Sakura-san!!! I got you something!” She cheerfully exclaimes “I just so happened to be in town so I thought I’d drop them off before I head home.”

She pulls three things out of her bag.

Tailored suits from Himari- Hand made, with hours and hours of stitches and a few crying fits in between making them. The material is smooth and soft- the seems give a golden glow.

“Hii-chan spent alot of time on these! She’s a bit busy fighting off a fever that…I’m kinda responsible for” she laughs nervously “I actually had to pick up some medicine earlier for her today so she’s resting now”

A bouquet of roses from Rinko! There’s a lot of them! How did Kyoko fit it into her bag? There’s also a diamond bracelet.

“This last ones from me”

Kyoko hands you a fox plushie, it’s holding a twig with Sakura flowers on it.

Sakura raised her head from where she was looking over some reports when she heard Kyoko enter her office. Normally Sakura would punish anyone who entered her office like Kyoko just did but Sakura didn't have the heart to even scold the shrine maiden who greatly remind her of Reika. Whether or not that was a good thing was still up in the air. Her men thought differently as many seemed to think Reika was the daughter of the devil himself. Sakura couldn't help but wonder if that statement held any truth. Reika had to have gotten her personality from somewhere.  

“Hello Kyoko,” Sakura greeted.  “I take it you're here to give me a gift?” Seeing the shrine maiden nod Sakura sighed. “Well, they can't be any worse than Kanon’s and Reika’s gifts.” 

Sakura always had trouble finding clothes. Her height, figure, and sizable bust made it nearly impossible to shop in the woman’s section. So she was grateful to Himari for making her several suits that would fit. Sakura made a mental note to give Himari a large tip on her next visit to her shop. 

Roses weren't things Sakura received often people were more inclined to give her the flowers she was named for. So roses were a nice surprise even if they were more Reika’s thing. Sometimes Sakura couldn't help but wonder what went through her mother's head naming her after cherry blossoms. A flower that was the opposite of everything she was. Even then Sakura could never bring herself to hate her name, one of the few gifts she had left of a mother she barely remembered.  Sakura blinked at the diamond bracelet. She hadn't expected that from Rinko. It was quite nice too. Sakura didn't often wear jewelry but she had a nice collection. Although it paled in comparison to Reika’s own collection. 

It was Kyoko’s gift that made Sakura pause. How long has it been since she had been gifted a plush? Not since she was an extremely young girl. Her stepmother would've burned any plush she had to ash. Oh, how Sakura hated that woman who robbed her of her mother, her childhood, and her chance at a normal life. People forget that she was Sakura Amamiya before she was Sakura Kito.  Sakura shook her head no need to think of things better buried in the past. She placed the plush at the edge of her desk. Sakura dared anyone to tell her anything. It would be the last thing they would ever do.
