We’re still blown away by the enthusiasm the fandom’s shown for our miniBang (it’s now 25 fics and 25 pieces of art!!). And so to thank everyone who signed up, we’ve decided to rec their work in these posts and also to help you to get to know them better. You see, besides old favourites, we’ve also got quite a few newcomers!

We know that we’ve advertised the miniBang as “one last event before the movie” and now the premier’s moved to November, but the Bond fandom has no time to sigh!

Finally making some progress getting files onto the iPad and sent to my printer. My laser printer continues to make me crazy, and my iPad only connects every so often. Ugh Here is a test case of my new ornaments going to Patreon patrons and existing Etsy orders. I've been dying to try this idea - images printed on transparency film, trimmed, and mounted in clear ornaments. Like little stained glass ornaments, only much lighter and the images can be swapped out! And because they are plastic rather than glass, perfect for shipping overseas! What you want out of 007 Fest: This will be my second year participating in 007 Fest, and I’ve been looking forward to it again since last summer! Why it’s great: It’s cute, fluffy, and pissed off Q making flyers in a rage at 2am is literally something I would do, so 100% relatable.

The story will be a series of short stories and one-shots featuring everyone's favorite Quartermaster/Agent. Some might be AUs, some might be angsty, others will be so high on crack/humor that hopefully you cry from laughing. All of them are inspired by the songs that give each chapter its name.

Why it’s great: This is a collection of one shots of all different genres, so there’s literally something for everyone. Also, who doesn’t love song fics in any permutation?

Why it’s great: While my 00 twin has a veritable library of hilarious works to choose from, this one literally made me laugh until I cried. And it spawned a fantastic inspirational poster. *cackles* Eldritch horror, indeed.

Why it’s great: IT’S NOT WHAT YOU THINK. I can’t tell you what’s great about this without giving away the twist. So, just go read it.

Why it’s great: Complex writing. Funny, heartbreaking, and fluffy by turns, this one should be required fandom reading.

Why it’s great: Yeah I know Redamancy is totally awesome and is the obvious pick, but I’m currently a lot in love with this Doctor Who crossover. Go read it now. Go.

Why it’s great: This was one of the first of Cas’ fics that I read and it really stuck with me. It’s the end of the world, and this fic is weirdly angsty and fluffy at the same time.

Summary: Bond comes to a realization that he wants his quartermaster for more than just a night and sets out to win him over.

Why it’s great: This was actually one of the first fics I remember reading in this fandom, ever. And at one point Bond’s attempt to break into Q’s apartment (always a fun trope) results in electrocution. Which I find inappropriately funny, because I’m a horrible person.

Why it’s great: I know this is a collab, but omg, if you have not read the “La Vie en Rose” series, you are missing out. This is the first one and it will suck you in. Prepare to fall down the rabbit hole for a little while.

Why it’s great: This is the first in the Alien!Q series which is really freaking adorable. Like, really, really adorable. Q is an alien who changes color with mood and has tentacles. Need I say more?

I'm excited to say that Flat Bond is officially ON HIS WAY! He started in Indiana with @timetospy and is now en route to England, and then to the rest of Europe and New Zealand before he heads back to the North American continent. We can't wait to see all the places Flat Bond goes, what he does when he gets to his destinations, and what kinds of flat souvenirs he might pick up along the way.

Intro!

Hello, 

I’m @pettikotes/Sarah/004. This is my first year participating in the 007 Games/Fest, my first year in the Bond fandom and my first year with the Tumblr community and I’m jazzed to be a part of the Team 00 effort to (lovingly) spank Q branch. 

I’m a painter, doodler, recipe concoctor and occasional fic producer. I tripped and fell into the 00q fandom by accident and I’ve been really happy there ever since. I’ve been having Bond movie nights (I’m up to Moonraker) and reading the novels to develop a more well-rounded appreciation for the fandom. I’m not active in any other fandom at this time, though I do occasionally dive back to my Trek roots. 

@teamdoubleoh looks like an AMAZING team, and I can’t wait to connect with and cheer for you all!!
