My entertainment tonight is window-shopping PetFinder and scoffing at the cats listed as colorpoints.

She's sweet, but her ass is NOT a lilac point!

I wish I could convince my family to get a puppy. I need companionship and having a puppy to take care of would be so good for me.

#Eli Speaks #i downloaded and then immediately uninstalled petfinder #i cant do this to myself #cause i know its not gonna happen #a) it's really expensive #and b) my parents (esp my mom) are p adamant about not getting another pet after losing maddie #i know it could me so much good #but ofc i cant really do anything that'll be beneficial to my mental health and life...#like i said yesterday #i just want a friend #and i know my parents would love it if we got a puppy #but convincing them would be an uphill battle #esp since i plan on moving back to ny #cause id want to be responsible for this dog #but moving 1000+ miles with a dog (and finding a place that allows dogs) is gonna be a whole thing #it's not impossible #but it def makes things harder #why is anything that can make me even a little happy so fucking hard

#eliot posts #i mean the fact that my old cat died last month is like Double Rude #but my current catlessness in general is rude on its own #the fact that there is no Little Guy on my floor to Meow At Me is fucking RUDE!!!#this is Illegal. this is transphobia at its finest.#tho i did find two very good cats on petfinder #i mean i found way more than just 2 but i narrowed it down to 2 #but i need to do paperwork and shit and probably clean up my apartment before i can take one of them home #hopefully at least one of them is still available for adoption by the time i get everything ready in that aspect #both cats have a friendly laid back personality and pale yellowy orange fur #one is a 1 year old female the other is a 3 year old male #i would post their pictures and names/descriptions but #the humane society they're at is within 25 miles of my house and i don't want ppl to be able to track down what town i live in like that

there is truly nothing like looking for silly cat names on petfinder to make urself feel better about your dying senior cat just to find one with almost the exact same name but much younger and then almost cry about it in the middle of class

Hi, idk if u remember but in 2018 u did a thing where u would look on Petfinder for cats that might have trouble getting adopted and shared them. U helped me find my best friend in the universe, Funky Daniel (though the Daniel was quickly dropped) and I am so forever grateful. He's such a mamas boy
