Another good question! Loving these.

I don’t see them as the type to have kids (they’re just fine being like weird gay uncles to Milo and his friends), but Dakota would have a lot of fish. I think he’d either give them very human sounding names or the kind of names you’d see on PetFinder (I love looking at those, they’re amazing). Either way, Cavendish would feel ridiculous when talking about the fish because of their names.

there is truly nothing like looking for silly cat names on petfinder to make urself feel better about your dying senior cat just to find one with almost the exact same name but much younger and then almost cry about it in the middle of class

Hi, idk if u remember but in 2018 u did a thing where u would look on Petfinder for cats that might have trouble getting adopted and shared them. U helped me find my best friend in the universe, Funky Daniel (though the Daniel was quickly dropped) and I am so forever grateful. He's such a mamas boy

Where do you find the crustiest of old cats. All the cats I see, even at "senior rescues" are maybe ten years old and generally pretty healthy.

I search petfinder with the “senior” and “special needs” filters turned on. And I’ll travel up to 5 hours for a cat I want.

And then a little bit of luck. As an example, Valentine looked pretty healthy in his pictures on the shelter’s website. I actually almost passed him up because he looked too healthy. But there weren’t a lot of other sickly, ancient options in my area so I figured I would settle for him. And how excited was I to figure out I had been catfished!!!

And then on the other hand, I got lucky/unlucky (depending on who you ask) with Bessie. Based on her pictures I suspected her to be older than she is. And I also was expecting some health issues. But it turns out she’s just blind and crusty. Not even that old!
