masterlist | more peter parker
The past few weeks have been very good. Peter would occasionally visit you in the library with packed lunch, you tried to do the same but cooking was never really your strong suit. You would spend lunches eating together at the library talking about stuff going around the school, Mayday, and the library. He also took you to a new science museum in Brooklyn, the two of you stood in awe as you saw new advances in science and technology.
Mrs. Diaz, the head librarian, took note of your good performance for the past months and has said that she will give a good word for your promotion. You and Peter went out on a drink that night to celebrate. You have also stayed in touch with Mayday, the three of you would watch movies together, go to parks, and it was like you were bing included in their small family.
On the way home from work, you were carrying an Ikea bag full of art materials since the library department settled on joining in with halloween decorations. You planned on cutting up colored paper into some decor. It was cold tonight, so cold that you zipped your jacket over your two seaters as you went to a bodega to grab a sandwich for dinner. The old man in the cashier took your order and you gave him 6 dollars in return. The heavy blue bag sinking into your skin makes it hurt a little. A small TV, like the box ones with antenna, near the cash register was playing the news.Â
BREAKING NEWS: Multiple assailants attack a bank in Queens. The villains known as The Sinister Six attacked a local bank seeking the presence of the web-slinging hero, Spider-man. The assailants are identified by their aliases, Boomerang, Beetle, Shocker, Overdrive, and Speed Demon. Four hostages were seen in the premises but a final number has not been confirmed.
The old man gave you the sandwich and you went hurrying to your next block. A few corners from the bodega you saw smoke billowing in the street corner to your place. The beetle flying with her pink wings as Spider-man came swinging after her. A crowd of people surrounded the bank, police on hold to barricade them. You knew how dangerous this was but youâve never seen Spider-man in person, and there he was.
Spider-man was wounded by sharp boomerangs that flew across the sky. There were five villains against one Spider-man. You saw the hostages leave the bank from Spider-man distracting the criminal, some were wounded and coughing from the smoke. Your mind went to Peter, is he safe? You tried to dial for his number but no one answered. Spider-man took the Sinister Six one by one, the crowd cheered for him.Â
With worry dragging on your foot you hurried home. You kept on dialing for Peterâs phone, still no answer. In your peripheral you could see a shadow creeping up behind you. You tried to walk faster but the manâs hand was already on your shoulder. âNice phone you got there kiddo,â the masked man said. Your heart raced, he was holding a short kitchen knife. âCome on now, give it away or else Iâll hurt âya!â the man swung his knife at you but you quickly fell back. You ran yelling for help as he stood up to run after you. Â
âYou know, I was on my way home from the bank earlier but I heard some yelling and then I see you Bernard,â the man perched in a streetlamp yelled. A masked man in red and blue, Spider-man. He flicked his wrists and webs stuck to the thiefâs arms binding them together. He swung down and bound the thiefâs legs too. He wrapped him in webs and stuck him to the pole. Spider-man picked your phone from the manâs pocket and gave it to you.Â
âYou saved my life,â you said.
âYeah, just your friendly neighborhood Spider-man,â You couldnât help but stand in awe. âBy the way, this street gets a little dark at night, prone to pickpockets so I suggest you go through the other street it's safer.âÂ
You were speechless in his presence but you managed to utter another thank you. Spider-man made sure the man was stuck to the pole and swung again. You rushed to your apartment, no more stops, you promised. Your phone rang the moment you got inside, it was Peter.Â
âPeter! Oh my god I was so worried, are you okay?â you put your stuff down, unzipping your jacket afterwards.Â
âYeah, Iâm fine. Sorry I couldnât pick up your phone. I was doing some laundry,â you let out a sigh of relief. âHow about you, are you okay? I saw the news.â
âWell, I almost got robbed. But Spider-man saved my life!â you could hear sirens outside your winds and in Peterâs, his being a bit louder. âAre you outside?â
âOh, I just got in. Have you eaten?â he said, diverting the topic. Your eyes glanced at the paper bag in your bag, the contents flattened, some sauce leaking through the paper.
âWell, my sandwich got smushed so Iâll try to salvage what's left of it.â he laughs.
âIâm gonna call you later, I promised Mayday Iâll let her show me her new drawings from art class,â you felt relieved knowing he gets to talk to her. Whenever Mayday is even mentioned in conversation a weight would leave his shoulders.
âđ˘đ¸
You snuggled up in bed wearing a worn out shirt and gym shorts. You were reading a book, your eyes weighing in as you turn a new page. Your phone rings, Peter was a man of his word. You pick up the phone, Peter says he was just getting into bed as well. He groans as you hear him get down in the soft cotton sheets.Â
âSorry, did I bother you?â he said. You assured that he didnât since you love hearing his voice, especially before sleep. It was comforting. âSo, how was this Spider-man? Did you finally feel like you met the man of your dreams?â he says jokingly.Â
âWe actually kissed as he went down on his webs. It was very romantic,â you retort.
âIs that so?â he says, his brows raised. He was being playful. âThat's all you did? Next time let me watch.â
âOkay, you voyeur,â you chuckle. âSnooping around me and Spider-man.â you gave him a bossy tone. You both laugh from the sheer childishness of your conversation.Â
âYou know what I want?â his voice lowers to a gravelly hoarse whisper, like a morning voice. âI want whatever Spider-man is having.â You giggled. Peter and you have been tip-toeing on taking things to the next level. Youâve made out before, gotten to some touching, once you even straddled him while making out, but nothing more than that. Peter would always seem to restrain himself.Â
âYou want to get hurt too? Didnât know you had that side in you, Parker,â you hear Peter groan as he changes positions in bed.Â
âWould you,â Peter muttered, his voice was shaky, like he was just caught in a lie. Blood rushed through your veins. Whatever scared Peter scared you too. âWould you want to stay with me tomorrow night? I donât know, I felt like it was time.â
Oh.
He went there, you thought. You werenât in a rush, in a way you felt scared that doing this would change the dynamic you two had. From being flirty coworkers to something more serious. You bit your lip, thinking about the words that came out of Peterâs mouth. âNo pressure of course. Iâll move at whatever pace is most comfortable for the both of us.â he said with a voice that you felt was his sincerest.Â
âIâd love to. Iâm excited actually,â Peter was shocked with your answer, he said he was happy and would make sure you were comfortable.Â
âđ˘đ¸
Peter told you to come by his apartment by 9pm since the faculty had its quarterly meeting and would probably finish late. He also said that you should wait for his text before you came, so as not to spoil the surprise, whatever that meant. So you sat on your couch, dressed for the occasion. You made sure everything was good, you looked presentable, showered, flossed and brushed your teeth, you even used your more expensive perfume a friend gave you for your birthday. You looked at the clock ticking and moving its hand at you.
For what felt like forever the clock went from 6pm to 7pm.
And then 8pm.
Then 9pm.
Then it was 11:30pm. No text. No call. Nothing.
You started to feel shame, like someone had undressed you in public, or took away your shoelaces and tied them up together. It was embarrassing, you felt like this was bound to happen. That Peter was bound to disappoint you somehow. That giddy feeling was temporary and it was pulled under you like a rug, hitting your ass on the hardwood floor like an idiot.
Thud!
You went on your feet to check the loud sound that hit your window. You took a kitchen knife and slowly crept your way to the window. The window was open, the wind blowing on the curtains hiding the shadowy figure creeping on you. You heard the figure groan. You slowly saw the man come in. Clad in blue and red spandex, the lean man entered your home. He was unmasked, a man in his 30âs with a slight stubble, his brown hair a tousled mess.
âPeter?â
He looked at you with his large brown eyes. His face had a light cut on his cheek. His gait was weak the way he walked towards you. You couldnât fathom whatever was in front of you. Your chest heaves from thinking. How long has he been doing this? Is that whyâ
âHey, I know what you think,â he gestures for you to calm down.Â
âYou have no idea of what Iâm thinking about right now.â
âJust put the knife down and we can talk. Can we talk?â the both of you sat down on your small dining set, your chairs parallel one another. âIâm sorry I was late and Iâm sorry I didnât tell you.â
You made the calculations in your head, Spider-man has been a hero of the city for 17 years. Peter has been doing this for that long? You stared at him speechless. He looked at you with the same sad puppy eyes he would always do, his brows raised and furrowed, his bottom lip protruded a bit, his shoulders relaxed. âI didnât want to risk your safety.â
âBut why show me now?â
âWell, to be honest, I think I got hit pretty well so I couldnât swing back home.â he smiled. âBut most importantly I wanted you to know. So you have the option to stay or to go.â
âWhy would I do that?â you said, your arms crossed, your brows furrowed with confusion. Peter looked down on his hands on the table. You could see tears forming under his eyelashes. âWhy would you make me choose?â You stood up and took his hands, you held them in your palms, warm and calloused. He looked up at you. You take your thumb and wipe his tears. âI choose to say Pete, because I want to. Youâve been this cityâs hero for years. And Iâve looked up to you most of my life. I know youâre capable of protecting the people of this city, but I want to be here to support you. Be the guy who takes care of Spider-man when heâs hurt and to make the man underneath the mask feel loved.â
Peter stood up, his body towering over you. He placed his hands on each side of your face, bending down to place his lips on yours. It was a tender kiss, tears falling from Peterâs face. You bring him to your bedroom, his arms wrapped around your waist. His gloved hands occasionally peered under the hem of your shirt touching bare skin. He tries to grab the zipper on his nape, he struggles a bit, the two of you laughing. You helped him unzip the suit. Your eyes wandered through the landscape of his back, wide and muscular, yet it also showed who he was when the city called. Scars left and right, some new, some old, and yellowish bruises around his ribs.
Peter, now only wearing his black boxers, sat down on the bed with you standing in between his thighs. He peppered your neck with kisses. He started to pull on the hem of your shirt, lifting it above your head. Your shorts and underwear came after. With his hands now placed on the back of your thighs, he gestures for you to straddle him. Doing as youâre told he starts to caress your ass, his large hands hugging them fully.Â
Peter pulls you back, his back on the bed while you towered on top of him. Your arms both at the side of his head supporting your weight. You could feel Peterâs erection stirring inside his underwear, you rub yourself on the hardness, his eyes fall back as he curses. âYouâre unfair,â you said, pointing your eyes at his underwear. Peter smirked, pulling his underwear until it was at his ankles.
You started to stroke his cock while leaving kisses on his neck, your room filled with the sound of grunts and moans. You go down to your knees at the edge of the bed. You take his cock inside your mouth, you hadnât realized it was the mouthful. Saliva coats his hardness while it goes in and out your mouth. Peter sits on the edge of the bed, his hands running through your hair.Â
âFuck, youâre so good.â Peter moans.
âLanguage Mr. Parker,â you jokingly said before continuing your task. Peterâs noises began to become louder, the grip he had on your hair became tighter. He taps your shoulder, his chest heaving, you ease down releasing his wet cock. The head throbbing and red, white liquid already forming at the tip.Â
âDo you have condoms?â Peter asked. You stood up to take the condoms and the bottle of lube in your nightstand. Peter takes your hand and brings you to the bed, your positions now reversed, with your back to the bed while his body towers over you. He kisses you once more before he puts the condom on his dick, stroking it with a palm full of lube.Â
âYou ready?â he whispered to your ear. You nod, he puts a lubed finger to your hole, preparing you for his erection. With a slow thrust of his hip he sheathes himself inside you. You both let out a loud groan. You take him to you, kissing him more to ease some of the sting. After your body has acclimated to the pressure, Peter starts to push his cock in and out of you, the pressure begins to turn into pleasure, your eyes welling with tears. Peter starts to suck on the skin on your neck, not enough to mark but enough to make you a whimpering mess under him. Peterâs hands find yours, your fingers intertwined as he places them beside you. His thrusts were deep, the strokes long, you felt so full of him, his body, his scent, his essence. Your body surged with pleasure.Â
He starts to stroke your cock, your arms now wrapped around his neck. Your mouths become slopier by the second. You tell him you were close, he tells you the same. With his thrusts becoming more erratic your muscles clench making your hole tighter. Peter groaned from the sudden tightness. Your arms wrapped tighter on his neck, his face on your ear letting out profanities. At the moment your moans, his hip and yours, gave out the same rhythm. The pleasure fills you up with intensity. The two of you at the same time called out for each otherâs name as you climaxed.Â
âđ˘đ¸
You woke up from the scorching heat of the sun on your bare skin, the room filled with yellow light. The window was open and Peter was gone. You stood up to take your shirt and your shorts, stretching your neck before getting a glass of water. In the dining table you saw a paper folded into a flower with a note next to it.
Had to go do something, duty calls (also because I stink). I didn't want to wake you because you looked so peaceful, but I will see you later I promise. Thoughts on swinging around town with me? Itâll be fun I promise! I had a great night by the way. I love you.
-Peter.Â

IMAGINE
Reader who shifts through realities, dimensions, universes, accidentally going into comic universes such as marvel and DC. Poor reader accidentally gets the affection of superheroes. Spiderman aka Peter Parker is he made a new friend, possibly a soulmate due to how reader and him are hitting it off well. Peter wants to show the avengers just how amazing and talented reader is. But sadly when things started to get a little crazy with Peter, reader dipped and fell into dc. Falling into dc is a death wish, apparently landing in Gotham as Batman literally saw reader fall from the sky but somehow lived and landed on their feet. Now itâs batmanâs turn for the fun of it.

here with me
pairing: male x gn!reader (i tagged with a lot of different male characters i find comforting, but thereâs no names used so you can imagine anyone you so please)
word count: 0.6k
warnings: reader is in pain (nothing descriptive), he comforts. just fluff
a/n: i wrote this as a result of my own migraines, but i kept all the symptoms vague because any chronic pain is a bitch, and you deserve to be treated softly by the person of your choice
The apartment usually wasnât this quiet when he got home.
Or this dark.
He set his keys on the counter and left his boots by the door, then carefully stepped through the apartment. The kitchen and living room were both empty, and the office looked like it hadnât been touched all day.
There was no light under the bedroom door. He set a cautious hand on the doorknob, but a quiet whimper had him opening the door without question.
You were laid out on the bed, on top of the covers, with an arm draped over your eyes. The ceiling fan and rotary fan on the ground were both spinning at top speed, and he could just see a dark bag poking out under your neck.
He quietly closed the door and returned to the kitchen, now a man on a mission. He grabbed a straw and a water bottle from the fridge, then took an ice pack from the freezer and wrapped it with a dish towel. He took the last item, a bottle of painkillers, from the cabinet and silently returned to the bedroom, the only sound of his presence being the faint click as the door closed one more time.
âBaby?â
âYeah, itâs me.â
You let out another small whimper.
âHow bad is it?â
â9.5.â
Unbearable, then, if you were using an actual pain scale.
He set his items on the nightstand and took a seat beside you on the bed.
âMeds?â
âAt 3.â
Only a couple hours ago, too soon to take more. He put those beside the lamp.
He uncapped the water bottle and put the straw in, then he gently tucked a hand behind your head and lifted. âDrink.â
Your lips wrapped around the straw, and he didnât pull the bottle away until youâd swallowed at least four times. But before you could lay back down, he replaced your old ice pack with a new one. You shivered a little, but the cold was a welcome reprieve.
âStay or go?â
You couldâve cried. Heâd stuck with you through this so many times he knew your comforts by heart. He read your moods instantly, and most of the time didnât need promptings, but he always took the time to ask when it got bad like this. And he never shamed you for only being able to say a few words at a time.
âStay.â
It nearly came out as a sob.
He shed his jacket and started unbuttoning his jeans. âShirt or no shirt?â
âSoft.â
He took off his current shirt and replaced it with his sleep one, nothing decorating the black fabric, just ultra-soft cotton.
âWhere do you want me?â
It differed every time. Sometimes you didnât want him at all, the thought of another person with you sending jolts of pain through your body. Other times you wanted him to stay, but on the other side of the bed. Or you wanted him close, but barely touching.
âTop.â
Or sometimes you needed him to put all of his body weight on top of you like a human weighted blanket.
âCovers?â
âNo.â
He positioned himself, knees on either sides of your thighs, then he slowly lowered himself until his hands on either side of your face were the only thing keeping him up.
âOkay?â
âOkay.â
He finished lowering himself and settled his full weight against you.
You sighed in relief.
âBetter?â
You nodded and tucked yourself into the crook of his neck. âBetter.â
âThree taps if Iâm suffocating you.â
For the first time that day, you took a deep breath and relaxed.

Peter Parker Dating hc đ¸ď¸
Pairing(s):Peter Parker (Tom hollands)x Gn!Reader (both civilian and superhero included)
As a civilian you were probably unaware of his secret identity for a good awhile
Until you inevitably found out and began dating
How you found out well, well letâs just say it wasnât ideal
You had been friends for awhile and the only way Peter would ever let you near him or his room (while having a crush on you) would be if he forgot something at your house or something
So you knocked and May let you know he wasnât there but still let you in
I mean she wasnât just gonna let you stand outside waiting for him, if anything he was to blame for not being responsible about the time you two established for meeting up
Queue you walking into his room and heâs half suited up and the both of you are just staring at eachother
That interaction led to some discourse, obviously
But after the initial shock you (surprisingly) moved on
Now if youâre a superhero working for stark for some reason then you met that way and thereâs no secret identity reveal
Tbh the two of you have to have something in common
Whether its interests in comics or ânerdâ stuff
something had to have led to the two of you getting together
Or maybe youâre just into easily flustered, needy men, who knows đ¤ˇââď¸
Like if youâre a hero then you met that way and share that in common (including tech if youâre into that)
So just imagine Peter, whose very nervous/ excited, just absolutely rambling about some interest that was briefly mentioned and that you both shared
The thing is, youâre on a date right now and heâs absolutely embarrassing himself (in his opinion)
Heâd try to plan everything to perfection and gift you what he can even if he feels it might pale to what youâre used to (if youâre wealthy)
Your first date was especially memorable since not only did he display his nervousness so obviously but it was as if the universe couldnât let his plan run smoothly
He had tripped, stuttered, made too many mistakes to count, just a piece of work all in all
To you though? It was endearing
He had wanted your first date to be the upmost perfection, even if it wasnât an average persons âidealâ by the end-
It didnât matter because you could tell the genuine affection he had for you so much so that he had planned this all, and unfortunately (for him) embarrassed himself beyond return in front of you
âKill me nowâ
- Peter probably
He doesnât really seem like it, if anything he seems pretty self actualized but thereâs obviously moments where he feels a bit sorry (?) for the lack of a better word
Heâs just always clumsy, and getting flustered easily
Especially around you
So although he might think that you probably think less than ideally of him, he couldnât be more wrong
If anything it adds to his charm and anything he does is pretty endearing
So when you decide to share such words with Peter while youâre chilling in his room
Well, heâs floored
He thanks you but then that spirals into him stuttering and tripping over himself
Despite the fact that you complimented him to not only ease his worries but also to just let him know-
Heâs groveling (exaggeration) and apologizing for, again, being himselfâŚ
Blud needs to chill outâŚ
Usually after missions or whatever theyâre called- Peter usually has minor injuries or cuts
How do you know this? Youâre his main source of comfort so heâs sneak in through your window into your room as often as he can
A particular moment was when you both decided to have a sleep over at your house
It was definitely a huge progress in your relationship but you shouldâve known better
While you were asleep, he snuck off and att the end of his little escapade, he snuck back in
Only thing is that he returned back through the window he snuck out from just to be met with the lights on
He visibly sunk at your disappointed gaze once he noticed you up
He isnât in the best state so you take it easy on him and just go rummaging through your cabinets- you hoped to have something for his wounds around there somewhere
As youâre searching, Peter has taken it upon himself to convince you his injuries are nothing, just go back to bed, and is just overall downplaying his condition
You pause and just stare at him
Obviously heâs taken by surprise but he realizes he canât do anything to stop you and just lets you continue
Even while your cleaning his wounds or bandaging him up heâs making jokes about the situation
Well maybe not jokes but we all know how rambly he gets when heâs nervous
Somehow digging himself a grave right there
On that same page
Weâre all aware of how difficult it is for Peter to balance his civilian and superhero life
Iâm not up for debate- it might as well be canon
Heâs always having to leave school for superhero work in which it has consequences or he leaves superhero work and still has consequences in the franchise so respectfully: đ¤Ťđ¤)
Peter tries super hard to be there and include you in whatâs going on but sometimes he needs to cancel or leave hang outs abruptly
You understand this obviously but itâs still upsetting, not as much if youâre a superhero id imagine
But yknow
Still annoying asf
You donât give him hell for it even if you want to because either 1. You do the same thing (superhero) 2. He canât help it and he already gets enough shit
Heâs also super protective
Especially if youâre a civilian
Itâs sort of endearing/ annoying- somehow both simultaneously
Now if youâre a hero/ avenger then you both understand things about your secret identities
Particularly about hiding them
Yknow how Ned would always help Peter out? Well you and Peter do that for eachother
If u have family or others who arenât aware like friends- Peter has your back and vice versa
Itâs just the price you need to pay
Especially since itâs not easy balancing lives

peter parker x male reader.
summary: where you couldn't possibly imagine to find love and sanctuary anywhere else, you somehow find it in the presence of a boy named peter.
wc: 4.3k. genre: angst. warnings: loner!reader, sad!reader, implied abuse, implied bullying, high school senior year, slow-burn.
SEPTEMBER.
The big hand of the clock flicked closer to the end of the day, the small hand circling around the circumference to pass time.Â
Conversations of peers were usually drowned out with the help of your earbuds. The gentle strum of acoustics would counter the excitement of the studentsâ well-being; friends opinionated in after-school activities, athletes talked about the upcoming game with your rival school, artists boasted over the amount of commissions theyâve received overnight.
For the first time, you heard it all, and took it all in with an inhale, then silence as you stared at Peter Parker. The earbuds were slotted into your ear canals, but today, the wired nubs were worn to merely dull your surroundings as you awaited the intercom to bid the occupants of the building farewell for the day. Your leg shook, bouncing your book bag atop of it, and you held it steady when you hugged it close to your chest, chin resting at the strap. It appeased the throttle in your chest, but every time the classmate opened his mouth for a laugh, it swelled painfully larger. A pump to the husk of a balloon, a breath to the bubble of blue raspberry bubblegum, a vapor to the particles of billowed smoke, it continued swelling and roped your anxiety along for the journey. A part of you needed to talk to him, but the other part begged for reconsideration.Â
At some point, you forgot to breathe. Feeling blue in the cheeks, you finally exhaled the caught nerves. They drew out of you in shivers, spaghetti boiling in bubbling water if the warmth of your breath could change matter. While the man listened, then talked within his small group of friends, chairs and desks were gathered around to form a circle, you examined him cautiously. If Peter was to turn his head and meet the affection in your gaze, you were lucky to have the window by your side to turn back to, feigning interest in the clouds, the sky, the breeze in the trees. Until then, his smile unmasked pearly whites that rivaled the lights that illuminated the classroom. His russet hair was pushed back, wavy locks that were brushed simply so people could easily follow the pattern with one glance.Â
âGooooood Afternoon, Midtown!â The intercom blared, and a warning from your teacher hushed your classmates into a sea of scatters. âBefore we send you kiddos off, we would like to remind all of you that the Midtown Tigers will be playing against Westonâs Sea Hawks tonight! Show your support by attending the game and cheering for our team. Letâs show those dirty hawks that tonight will be the night that we can bounce back from our 18th consecutive loss!â It continued with its usual announcements of bus delays and afternoon activities before finally blaring that cathartic bell.
Footsteps crowded the halls, and your classmates joined its symphony in heavy to light strides. While you watched, your pace slowed deliberately as Peterâs friends bid him farewell. You overheard them asking him if he was going to join them in the mall, but he declined, blaming his absence on his aunt. They left one by one, until the only occupants were you, your teacher, and Peter.
âPeter?â You were up on your feet, approaching him from the back of the classroom as you slung the bag over your shoulder. Your voice cracked from the parched of your throat, mousy in performance, and you were unsure if Peter heard you. Your mouth opened again to call to him again, but he turned with a friendly smile, raising his brows in interest, and they closed.
âOh, hey!â His face lit up when he saw you, or maybe you were convincing yourself. Not even your reflection looked at you the way Peter did. You were even surprised he recognized you. Cared to remember you. He hurriedly threw his books into his backpack before swinging it over his shoulder, meeting you in the middle of the row of desks. âWhatâs up?â
âIâŚâ Youâve only spoken to him twice. The first was a mere greeting, and the second was a painful answer to his worry.Â
Are you okay? Yes.
The beating in your chest hiked in rhythms, compelled gravity to rob your voice, but you were conscious enough to steal it back, softly speaking. âI just want to thank you for⌠last year. I never got to⌠properly thank you. So, thank youâŚâ You were intoxicated by the amount of times you said those appreciative words, but gratitude sobered you up, offering the latter a small, grateful smile.Â
âOhâŚâ The smile on Peterâs face simmered into a relieved line. He then nodded towards the door for you to follow him, and you did, silently by his side. âYou donât have to thank me, (M/N). I did what anyone would do.â
Everyone let it happened, except for you.
The hallway was quick to clear as students rushed to spend the remaining hours of their Friday without any regrets. The silence was deafening except for the squeak of your shoes and the whispered gossip between faculty members, and for a place you often labeled as your personal hell, it wasnât so bad when it was purged of those that spawned that definition in your life.
Maybe you were walking slower, or you were keeping with Peterâs pace, or the hallways had undergone construction to stretch the floors, or the awkward silence between the both of you that blurred your perception, but the travel from your classroom to the exit of the building was a journey.
âIs he still bothering you? I donât know if heâs in your other classes, but heâs not in mine, soâŚâ Peter spoke up, alluding to the classmate who called you disgusting names, shoved your books to the floor, stole the change of your clothes during gym. And you wished it would stop there, at the actions of the clichĂŠ bully trope, but it never did. He pushed the door open, politely letting you out first, and you stepped into the warmth with a small thank you,â and continued walking with him. Summer cicadas harmonized in their greeting.
âNo, not anymore.â You lied, dropping that hand that once held onto the padded straps of your backpack to your side. The dark color of your pants masked the bruise on your wrist when you shoved it deep into your pocket. âI have him in a few of my classes, but luckily heâs preoccupied with his friends.â
âGeez, you got his friends too? Thatâs⌠gotta be a loud classroom.â He laughed, and you joined in to delude yourself, and Peter, into thinking everything was okay. Â
The sound of multiple engines running within the yellow busses reminded you how incredibly enamored you were with Peter. By now, motors wouldâve been buried by earbuds, and the walk wouldnât have been so deafening to your ear canals. But hearing Peterâs voice soothed the damage, and you wished you had a playlist of him saying your favorite words, reading your favorite novels, rescuing you with worried comfort. You wanted to continue the conversation, change the subject, but you never knew how, so it fell to silence. Again.
âIâll see you around, Peter.â You spoke softly again, paused when you and Peter reached the end of the sidewalk. You were familiar with Peterâs route. He lived in the opposite side of your street, and the curved path to the right practically led him back to his apartment. All he had to do was follow the beige pavement. ââŚand thank you, again. It means a lot.â A genuine smile, one that you havenât been able to sprout for weeks, months you could argue, and Peterâs breath hiked.
âOf courseâŚâ It took his breath away. The cloudy day was drawing in the last of its colors, but the rare hint of your teeth, the curve of your lips, made the sky above him, behind you, bloom in the softest blues, yellows, and whites. Selfishly, he wished you smiled more, because the release that was pulled from him evened the astonishment of a child seeing stars for the very first time.Â
âIâll see you around, (M/N).â
OCTOBER.
The workload in your classes had picked up, and with the part-time job at the local bookstore, you were envious of customers who had finished their backlog of novels. Mainly working adults. Still, there was never enough hours in the day to immerse yourself in the world of a brave protagonist, slaying off demons and dragons in the pursuit of love. You never got to finish the fantasy novel you were reading, but youâd imagine it ended with the hero beheading the fire-breathing behemoth, and its head would be pridefully worn on a stick like cotton candy. Cheers erupted when the character returned, then roared when their love blessed them with one thankful kiss.
The ladder was anchored to the wooden, though creaky, floors as you held your breath from inhaling dust. When the door was pushed open by curious passersby, particles of dust sailed with the draft that was invited in, and you coughed into the crook of your arm whenever one floated into your throat. Though, you couldnât be too annoyed. It also provided a test to see if the Halloween decorations could withstand the wind as they sat on hooks that were nailed into the ceilings. Spirals of orange and black ribbons roped cartoonish gravestones, black cats, pumpkins, skulls, ghouls, all the mascots of the holiday, from above. The draft animated them in gentle swings, delicate arcs that cooled the confined space of the bookstore, but as far as you could tell, none of them had landed on the ground.
âLooks great, (M/N)! I think weâre good on the hanging decorations!â Your manager, Anna, gave the metal ladder a strong pat before tending to the fallen dust. It shook in fear, and you did too, immediately clutching to the fly to stabilize it.
âAny else? We still havenât decorated the windows.â You climbed down cautiously, making sure she was in your line of sight because for all you could know, she could be an omen.
âThe stick on the ones I got suck, so I was thinking that weâll decorate it on Halloween? Before opening?â She said, opening the door after to sweep out the culprits of your coughing fits.Â
âSounds good.â You collapsed the extension of the ladder once you stepped off, folding it into a thicker shape, and nodded before returning the ladder to its rightful place in the storage room.
âDoing anything fun for Halloween?! Parties?!â Annaâs voice boomed despite the door muffling it. The natural luminous of her voice was something you usually cowered away from, especially when she called for you in front of customers. Luckily, the store was closed, vacant of any witnesses to the flare of your cheeks. Cardboard boxes stacked atop of one another, and for some reason, you were suddenly determined to face your procrastination head-on. âHorror movies?!â
âUhâŚâ The volume of your voice was still muted despite forcing yourself to make it sonorous. It came out in staggered breaths as you flattened the boxes with your weight, stepping on them at the crease and fold, until you were able to fold them into neat, flat shapes. âNot really! I usually donât do anything for celebrations.â
âSeriously?â The sound of sweeps came closer to you. They sounded like laughs, almost as if they were mocking you. When you looked up, it was Annaâs fretted expression that reminded you that they were just sounds. No one was here to hurt you. Laugh at you.Â
It was just you and Anna. And sounds.
âMm-hmm.â You simply answered, packing the flattened boxes into a trash bag before storing it back to where the stack previously harbored. The room felt bigger now. You exited after switching off the lights, and took Annaâs broom to sweep up the fuzzy stray materials of cardboard.Â
âHow come?â Her shoulder supported her leaning stance as she pressed to the wall, watching you diligently work with crossed arms. She gasped out of realization. âOh noâdid something horrible happen on Halloween? Is that why you donât celebrate?!â
âNo, nothing like that!â You laughed. It was always genuine with her. Anna was at least twenty years older than you, but she still kept the youthfulness of a child. You were envious of it.Â
âI justâŚâ Big sweeps to walnut flooring kept your mind at ease. The thick hairs brushed evenly, catching lint in the hay. They clung protectively onto the strands the more you brushed, the harder as well. It reminded you of nights, lonesome in your bed. No matter how hard you tried to remove those pesky lints, they always stayed. Always found a way to intrude. ââdonât have parties to go to.â
Nor did you have friends to watch movies with, or a willing family to celebrate with if all plans fell through. Itâs been you since you can remember, and youâve gotten used to it. Though, youâd never admit that to her.
The trail of your voice and the mindless polishing of walnut immediately foiled your discreet speech, but Anna knew better than to prod. From the day you came in for the interview, she remembered the timidness of your slouch, your pattern of speech, your orbs. One could argue that they were nerves, universal tremors one every eighteen year old got when applying for their first job. Then, she trained you. It was just you and her, and the shelves of delicate books. Over the next few weeks, Anna learned that you were as frail as the old spine of donated hardbacks.Â
Her knowledge of you only sank surface-deep, barely a scratch or a wound. At one point, she thought it was because of her personality: chipper as a mourning dove, loud as her neighborâs lawnmower on Sundays, but compared to how she met you five months ago, it delighted her to see progress. Slowly but surely, you opened up to her. She knew your favorite color, your favorite meal, your favorite novel, and she was no longer insecure. There will be a time when sheâd meet the root of your soul, and if it took a month, a year, or another, sheâd wait.
âEverything okay at school?â Sheâs been meaning to ask. It was an exciting time for a new business, but incredibly stressful as well. Most never made it after six months, especially within an industry where independent bookstores have become increasingly difficult to sustain with the presence of technology. Anna was just fortunate enough to have seen such quick growth.
Anna took the broom from your hand, stashed it back in the storage room, then guided you to a table for two near the entrance of the store. It was her favorite spot because she loved seeing the wonderment of her customers when they left with the book they couldnât find anywhere else.
âYeah,â You quickly answered and offered her a simple smile, devoid of any purpose but to pacify her worries. It worked on your parents, and you liked to think that it worked on Anna as well. âWell, theyâre doing some construction in the school gym. I heard that theyâre planning to add a room forââ
âThatâs great, (M/N), butâŚâ Her arms remained crossed, below her chest, and she nodded to the bruise on your cheek. Purple bloomed high on your cheekbone. Occasionally, it throbbed whenever a draft hit your frail skin. You assumed it was its way to kiss it better, and so you would let it in seek of sating the empty feeling in your stomach. âThat. I meant the bruiseâŚâ
âOhââ Out of instinct, your hand reached up to dab at the purpling skin. Numbed at the first layer, but you pressed deeper, and you hid a jolt with a sudden clear of your throat. âUh⌠catâ got me. My mom always said to never play with strays.â
It was a lame excuse and you knew it. Anna did too. Before you could see her face scrunch into a stew of concern, you turned the bruised cheek away and looked to the heights of the sky, out the window, and wished you could fly into the night.
On Halloween, the promotion regarding a sale on donated books, though only paperbacks, if you wore a costume propelled the place to a considerable height. The small size of the store felt even smaller, even more so as Annaâs playlist Halloween music blared in the wall stereo. The sound waves and chatters of excited customers confined you, and you shrunk yourself in corners where it would be coldest. Anna took care of the crowd of patrons, while you assembled the paperbacks in a neatly order within the shelves.Â
Anna didnât expect you to comply in participating in the event of Halloween, so the elation in her face was immediately framed in your mind when she hugged you tight, bruising enough to beckon the former bruise on your cheek to reappear, in your Whereâs Waldo outfit. Simple, but you were a simple man.
âExcuse me?â An inquisitive voice tore your focus from arranging the novels in alphabetical order. You were kneeling to fill the lower shelf that was too low for anyone to comfortable browse through, but maintained the position as the crowd seemed to have closed in on you. âDo you know if this book qualifies for the sale, or is it paperback only?â
You looked up through your artificial glasses, and the size of your eyes matched the roundness of your frames when it embarrassingly didnât take you very long to uncover who was under the layer of green face paint. âPeter?â
âO-oh! (M/N), you work here?â His eyes also widened, but he was sober enough to reach his hand out for you to grab onto. âThatâs fitting, I guess. You always went to the library during lunchâI-I mean, not that I watch you or anything. I justâ happened to noticeâŚâ The heat from your palm jumped onto Peterâs when you held on and pulled yourself to your feet. You werenât sure what to respond to first, but the closed distance between you and Peter was distracting. A fleeting feeling in your chest, and it still overstays it welcome when you backed a step away.Â
Peterâs never been so close to you. He could smell the scent of ocean mist that he likened to previous shopping trips ago. His aunt may would drag him to the nearest retail store and heâd spend every second of the agonizing trip smelling laundry scent boosters while she stocked up on the pantry. He laughed to himself. You seemed like the type to use those.
âThanks, uhâŚâ You carefully took the hardback in your hand, examining it with several cycles of flips. It was in mint condition. Usually, a poorer state allowed an extra discount. âThe sale is only for paperbacks, butâŚâ Your eyes scanned the room. Fewer people now. Anna was still busy entertaining those that came to participate in the costume contest, a sudden endeavor to drive engagement.
âI can make an exception.â There was a swell in Peterâs heart when you gave him a smile, an uncertain small one, but nonetheless, a smile that warmed his insides. He wouldnât have minded if he had paid full price anyhow, but he also wouldnât reject the opportunity to save money.Â
He followed your steps to the back, away from the engaged crowd, and stilled as you began checking him out. âJust one book?â You looked up, and his lips were already parted as if he was about to say something, but he nodded instead.
Another moment of silence as you took his card after applying the sale to his book, and your fingers drummed to the beat of the music to fill it out, awaiting the receipt to print out. Whenever you had the courage to look at him, he was immersed in the ambiance of the bookstore. Smiling to himself, to Anna, to the laughter of the crowd, and you couldnât help but hide one yourself, to the ground. When Peter faced you again, you quickly looked away in time, and the receipt rolled out in one smooth motion.
âHow are you? Is it always this busy? Iâve never heard of this place.â Peter had a habit of stacking multiple questions with his own observations, with statements, with more questions. Rambles, people would call it. He was attentive, curious, and it all made him the more endearing.
âIâve been doing okay. Tired, mostly. Miss Wilsonâs been keeping me up though.â It was your attempt at a joke, and luckily, it landed when Peter laughed in agreement, elated as if heâd been waiting for the culprit of all-nighters to be of subject.
âRight?!â Peter shook his head when you asked if he wanted a bag, and continued, tucking the book in his armpit when you returned it to him. âI mean, donât get me wrong. I love herâsheâs awesome. But chill out on the essays! An essay about our essays is a task sent from the devil himself.â
A chuckle escaped from your lips, and a wider smile brimmed your face in support. For the first time, you felt compelled to talk, to engage into conversation. âYeah, I missed a few deadlines, but sheâs pretty lenient with late work, thankfully.â
âReally? I have a feeling itâs because itâs you! Youâre probably her favorite student since you always get the right answers when she calls on you.â He laughed again to escape the awkwardness of his compliment. Subtle, but he hoped you took it pridefully.
Peter looked to the side to see if anyone was coming to conclude their purchase for the night, and was delighted to see the hardwood floor left unattended. âAre you doing anything after this? Itâs Halloween, so I imagine people are probably out partying or something.â
âIâm not really a party person.â You nodded to assure yourself, mindlessly rearranging the supplies around the desk to avoid the gaze of his eyes. It sucked you in once, couldnât look back even if you tried. It was only when Peter turned himself away that you were no longer staring into warm chestnuts. âI only dressed like this since Iâd probably look a little out of place if I showed up in my usual uniform, haha.â
âYou look cuââ Peter hurriedly cut himself off, frantic before smiling again. âNice. You look nice.â
âThank you,â You returned his smile, soft in form. âWhat about you? Are you doing anything?â
âWell, Iâm not a party person eitherâoh! Thereâs this new horror movie that came out a week ago! Iâve been dying to see it,â Peter sparked, gently bouncing on his toes as hope frayed within his words. âIf youâre free, would you want to watch it with me?â
âOhââ For the first time, you had the option to say âyesâ or âno,â and for some reason, Peter was always at the crime of your firsts. âW-what time? Iâll have to see if itâs okay with Anna ifââ
âLet me seeâŚâ Light reflected off of Peterâs faced as he searched on his phone, but a buoyant smile that revealed his teeth shined brighter. âOne showing at eight, another at ten, and one final one at midnight!â
âIs⌠midnight okay?â You hesitantly asked, and Peter brightened.
âMidnight is perfect.â
When you left from work, you didnât bother to call for your parents. It wouldâve gone to voicemail anyhow. Instead, Anna took the excited initiative to drive you to the theater despite your assurance that walking wouldâve sufficed.
Nonsense! Iâm getting my coat. Hold on! Stay right there!
The mystery of what held the rest of the night for you frightened you to the core. What if everything went downhill from here? What if Peter never showed up? What if this had been a prank all along? During the car ride, you breathed, and breathed, and breathed.
And then, breathed.Â
Inhaled.
Blew in one continuous breath.
Inhaled.
Your chest ran steady again.
That night, Peter made you feel normal. As normal as someone like you could be.Â
You didnât plan on getting your fingers buttery, but Peter assured you that his popcorn wasnât going to finish itself. You shared your sour gummies in return. Peter jumped when a ghost flew to the screen, and you did the same from his own erratic movements. You watched the film through half-closed eyes, peeking between the cracks of your greasy fingers, prepared to be startled by the sound of a door closing, and you laughed silently to yourself because it was silly when you flinched to a cat scurrying away.
While you focused, the structure of your nose and lips, your entire side profile, were handsomely illuminated by the flickers of the screen and Peter took in the animation of your presence, a behemoth contrast of the you heâd known silently for years; the you that kept to himself, ate at lunch by himself, did group projects by himself, studied in the library by himself, walked home by himself. It was pathetic, many would heckle to their circle of friends. Peter overheard the tease and taunts, and he wanted to defend you in those moments. But he couldnât, not until he knew you.
When you felt the air thicken, you turned to Peter and his gaze unfurled the heavy cloud between the two of you until it vanished into smoke. It sucked you in; his eyes. And you stared wide-eyed, bewildered and lost in the sea of broken stars the screen illustrated in Peterâs orbs. They twinkled with every cut of the scene, sparkling under the terror of the performerâs haunting, until they no longer didnât when he turned away.Â
Crimson blanched and wilted into his face, radiated even in the dark when you followed and turned back to the screen. You felt your cheeks rivaling in swatch.
For the first time, you werenât scared.Â

Warnings: None
Word count: 393
___________________________________________
You were currently asleep, arms thrown around Peters neck and head resting on his chest, Peters arms were wrapped around your torso and his hands were slung up so he could run his fingers through your hair, your legs were tangled together as Peter softly pet your head and listened to your soft snores.
After a while of this, you two relaxing together quietly, Peters phone rang, in an attempt to not wake you up, Peter, in a moment of quick thinking, grabbed one of his web shooters from his nightstand and webbed his phone, that was sitting on a desk on the other side of the room, pulling it towards him and catching it expertly.
"Hello?" He asked quietly as he answered the phone.
"Hey kid, you busy?" Tony asked.
Peter looked down at the sleeping boy on his chest, he pulled the phone back up to his ear and responded.
"Not technically, why?"
"Great, I need you for a mission, me and the old man are in the city and theres a situation, a spidey situation, so get on your suit and meet me at the bank" Tony explained.
"Oooh, no can do" Peter said.
"Excuse me? I thought you said you weren't busy" Tony asked.
"Im not, but, theres another thing, Y/N is currently asleep on top of me, soooo yeah, ask someone else, pretty sure Wandas not doing anything right now" Peter said.
"I asked YOU, Y/N being asleep is not an excuse, now get your goddamn suit on and come here, now" Tony said.
"Hey, lemme ask you a question, do you know the cat rule?" Peter asked.
"The what?" Tony asked.
"The cat rule, if a cat falls asleep on you you're not allowed to move" Peter explained.
"You see, Y/N is like a cat, he hates mondays, likes cuddles, and knocks stuff off of tables, both on accident and on purpose, so, I apply the cat rule to him as well, so, legally, I cant get up and wake him up, which means, I cant help you, sorry old man"
"Peter that is not-"
"Yeah? Uh huh, sorry cant hear you, bye!" Peter said.
"PETER DO NO-" Tony said, cut off as Peter hung up and carefully set his phone on the nightstand, running his hands through Y/N's hair and smiling smugly.

Over the song
Peter Parker x Male Reader
Request - Tasm peter parker getting pampered by his bf after having a rough week with lots of kisses and cuddling đ
All week Peter has had a rough week and is feeling overwhelmed. You live with your boyfriend and you know about him being a hero. You left the apartment and headed to the store, you picked out his favorite snacks and random DVDs in the cheap section. You picked other stuff then you went to buy his favorite food and rushed home. You are in the kitchen putting the snacks away and you hope it will cheer him up.
Peter again had a rough night and it kept getting worse. The whole week has been rough for him, at work his boss is treating him like crap and the customers are worse. Peter has talked about it with you but he still feels overwhelmed. He is happy to be home so he can relax. He walked inside the apartment and he was happy to see you.
âWhat happened to your clothes?â You asked.
Peterâs clothes are dirty, it's covered in mud.
âWhile waiting to cross the street, a car drove by mud and dirty my clothes. I'm glad to be homeâ Peter sighed.
âYou look like a hot mess and you kinda smell,â You said.
âCome on, give me a hug,â Peter said.
âNo!â You giggled.
You moved away but he put out his arms and walked closer to you. Now, he starts to chase you around the kitchen. You and Peter are laughing then he went to take a shower.
He is in the kitchen and sees his favorite food and snacks. He starts to smile and you wrap your arms around his waist.
âI got your favorite food and snacks. Also, I got random DVDs for us to watchâ You said.
âThis means a lot to me that you would do this, Y/nâ Peter smiled.
Peter starts to kiss you and he wraps his arms around you. You start to smile while kissing him and he holds you tight.
âLetâs eat before the food gets cold,â You said.
After dinner, you turn on the LED lights then you cuddle with him. During the movie, you and Peter start to eat snacks. He feeds you popcorn and he is smiling more. You and Peter didn't finish all the snacks, instead, he laid his head on your shoulder. You kiss him on the head and he starts to smile.
âI needed thisâ Peter said.
âYou really did. But at least the week is overâ You said.
Peter looks at you and he kisses you again.
âI have the best boyfriendâ Peter smiled.
âMe too,â You said.
After the movie, you and Peter cuddle in bed together. He has his head on your chest and you play with his hair. You and Peter are talking about random stuff. Then he lies on his side and you move closer to him. Much later, you followed Peter to the kitchen to grab snacks.
You and Peter finished eating snacks and then went to bed. Peter lies on top of you and he snuggles on you.
âIâm not going to move,â Peter yawned.
âFine. You are lucky that you are cuteâ You said.
âYou too babe,â Peter said.
You wrap your arms around him, now you two are starting to fall asleep.

"Hey, boyfriend." You snickered, hanging your head over him. Multiple strands of hair followed your sudden movement â blocking your view of him, or rather, his view of you.
He looked up at your face and pushed the strands of your hair to the side of your face without thinking much of it. The smile he beamed right back at you made you feel as if he was trying to move away curtains that revealed a most breathtaking view â you, his wonderful boyfriend.
As cheesy as it sounded, the way you looked at him and leaned down made his mind play one of the most righteous theme songs of the Star Wars trilogy. The feeling of your face against his hand, the desire to just hold you and never let go, the heat of his blood rushing everywhere, it was scary. Peter could hardly think straight when you let a small smile shine through your expression, where was he supposed to look? What was he supposed to touch?
As if on instinct, Peter's hands that were once placed on either side of him on the bed, took action and slid up your waist to gain a little bit more control once he saw you close the distance a bit more by resting on your elbows instead of your palms when hovering over Peter.
His grip caught you by surprise, who knew he could be so initiating?
"Is... Is that okay?" He murmured, watching your expression, terrified he was maybe too assertive this time.
He already went through this struggle with where to touch, back when he thought he only liked girls â but now, it's different. Despite all those experiences, It's like he had to relearn everything about the boyfriend world. It's not the same, because this time, he's the one with the boyfriend, not so much the one having to worry about his role as the only boyfriend in the relationship.
And Peter really doesn't want to fuck it up with his boyfriend.
To his shock and awe, you snorted, dismissing all his worries with one single breath.
"Peter, your heart's made of pure gold, isn't it?" You sighed as you fully relaxed into your new boyfriend's arms, letting your arms slide underneath the small of his back and lock softly.
With your eyes closed, and ear against his heart, Peter could comfortably wear his expression of pure exasperation as he settled into your embrace â not having to worry about you reading his face.
"Uh," Peter leaned his head back against the pillows to think, causing his throat to relax under the pressure of gravity â producing a scratchy tone in his larynx, once could only describe it as infatuation-inducing. "Well, maybe. I mean, I let you be my boyfriend, didn't I? I must be a saint!" He joked, a complete 180 to his previous attitude as he attempted to lighten the heavy romantic tension. A smile adorned his face with ease as he looked down at you for a (hopefully) good reaction.
You opened your eyes to playfully glare at him, "I take back what I said; your heart's made of pure lego â it's completely evident."
Peter feigned offence, "Hey, what makes you say that?" getting a bit more comfortable, he rolled over to face you instead of having to crane his neck down, keeping his hands flush against your back throughout.
"The way your joints click and clack, the way you get all stiff and plastic-like when you get nervous, the way you're practically indestructible â not to mention how much space you allow Lego Star Wars to take up in your heart; there's lots of things, Peter. " You laughed near the end of your mini-speech, fiddling with the the collar of Peter's shirt right in front of your point of view.
"And hey, you're basically built like Lego Batman with those 12-pack abs. Not that I'm complaining..." Peter flushed at the blatant flirt directed at his body.
"I did not come here today to be berated, s/o." Peter chose to ignore the last thing you said, "and I do not get 'plastic-like' when I'm nervous." Peter frowned, to which you chuckled.
"You came here because you missed me, be honest." You corrected.
"Well... Yeah, but you don't have to say it out loud." He mumbled, his shy expression breaking into a grin when he saw you smile first.
"Why not? it's true, isn't it?" You closed the distance between the two of you even more, chest-to-chest, stomach-to-stomach, lips-to....
Your eyes fluttered shut as you leaned up to kiss him, shuddering when you felt his hand rub your back with a gentle force, pulling you impossibly closer to him to fully close the distance.
As the two of you kissed, Peter held you close and vowed to himself in his head, to always protect you. Because to protect you, means he'd be protecting precious moments like these.

The wind blew into Peter's dimly lit room he sat at his desk glasses resting on the bridge of his nose laptop propped open the continuous sound of keys typing while his fingers danced along the board with a sudden halt before they continued in a melodic manner
Click-click-click-crunch-click-click click-crunch- click-cli-tap-tap-tap-tap-
You on the other hand lied on your stomach on the comfort of the bed the cool sheets under your skin engulfing you fully your nose in textbook quite literally as it lied under your chin whole you read over the section writing down key points to drill into your brain later humming a tune from your throat of a song that you remember faintly, that you couldn't quite get out of your head.
Peter could feel the heat rushing to his face and he was suddenly very grateful for the lack of bright light in his room as one of his hands rested on your knees the other typing against the keys of his laptop that same comforting noise
You were up from your position off the bed trailing behind Peter's chair he finished typing his last few words before turning his attention towards you a welcoming gaze looking over your features as you slid next to him shuffling awkwardly in the chair that was too small to fit you both before you settled on the potion of you leaning against the arm of the chair, your legs thrown over the brunettes lap, and your head resting against his shoulder
Click-click-click-click-click-tap-tap-tap-click-click
Suddenly he was jerking in his seat as your cold hands pressed against his stomach recovering quickly so he didn't drop you while you snickered into his shoulder
âBug boy can't handle a little cold?â You teased and if Peters face wasnât red before it was beet now as he huffed with a roll of his eyes playfully
âSpiders die in the fall Y/nâ He gasped playfully in mock offense and you could hear the smile in his voice without looking directly at him and you hummed in response playing with the loose thread of his sweater curled it around pinky before pulling downward for it to unravel in a loose spiral as you repeated the process
âI have to go dress shopping for your funeral, get one of those big church hatsâ You teased and the pale boy was gasping again with more seriousness to his tone
âNot the hat, im putting in my will that no one is allowed to wear obnoxious hats at my funeral it's a disrespectâ Peter said matter-of-factly as holding back laughter in his throat occasionally pausing to get get his sentence out before he could turn into a laughing mess
âI'll be at the door with a basket snatching hatsâ You stated seriously before a second passed and you were both falling into a laughing fit thatâs blended into the rustling trees outside the sound slipping through the open window seal
While you both settled after a moment you went to stand to go back to your work but Peter had grabbed onto the back of you he shirt In protest before you could get far looking at you with a pout
âWeâve been working for two hours we deserve a break, come on.â With a small huff you nodded before returning to your original position before letting a yawn take over your body resting your head on Peterâs shoulder as he swung you both side to side and soon he felt you lean into him a little more and listened into your heartbeat get a little slower
The vigilante couldnât tell how much had passed but the sun was just setting when he had last check and now stars were in the sky he found a rhythm in your fanning breath against his neck
Peters attention shifted to his opening door rushing to shush his aunt with a finger to his lips and wide eyes which she visibly cringed at while nodding
âJust letting you know that Iâm getting started on dinner and I just wanted to know if they were stayingâ She whispered apron secure around her frame and hair up on the back of her neck in a bun
âI should probably get them home curfew is soonâ He whispered in response
âYou know youâre a really good partner Peterâ May whispered and before the boy could respond she was out of the room with the gentle shutting of the door following after her
âA good partner huh?â You mumbled tiredly and once again Peter was a red as heâd ever been

Yo so like, r u ok writing for Peter Parker?? If so, could you write a Peter x Male Reader where the reader is both a charmer and peterâs ultimate hype man (sorry Ned). Around prom season, Peter asks the reader for help to ask his crush to the prom, and the reader is sadge bc he thinks itâs MJ. Slight chaos and maybe some nervous gay boy stuff ensues??
Roses
Yes, I'd love to write for Peter Parker! (And because you brought up Ned I'm assuming it's Tom Holland's Peter.)
Also, I'm in love with this prompt <3

Peter Parker x Male!Reader
---
Peter was at his locker, talking to Ned about his Lego death star, when (Y/N) approached his locker. Peter closed it and raised his eyebrows at (Y/N), while Ned jumped in shock (neither had seen him approach but Peter's spidey-senses- or should I say "Peter-Tingles"- came in handy).
"Are you guys planning a Star Wars marathon without me?" (Y/N)'s jaw dropped with a betrayed look on his face, hand to his heart. "What happened to the brotherhood?"
Ned snorted and Peter laughed, turning to walk down the hallway.
"We were gonna' invite you anyways, (Y/N), we always do," Ned reassured, giving in to his teasing.
"Good. So, whaddya' say, Pete? Star Wars at your house this Friday?" (Y/N) asked, putting his hand on Peter's shoulder and smiling at him as they walked.
Clearing his throat quietly, Peter nodded. "Yeah, that sounds like a plan."
"It's a good thing too, because I need help studying for this chem test coming up, and I was wondering if you'd help me?" (Y/N) asked him, hand still on his shoulder.
In truth, (Y/N) was barely getting by in chemistry for a reason. It's not that he wasn't smart enough or that he wasn't putting in the work- it was that he was sat next to Peter and couldn't stop looking at him. Trying to goof off with him in class was one of (Y/N)'s favorite pastimes, and what got them in trouble the most.
This gave him an excuse to beg Peter desperately for help with his homework, therefore getting to spend more time with him. It was a solid plan in his mind.
"For sure! Studying and then Star Wars, sounds like the perfect Friday," Peter said back, always too nice (or too love-struck) to say no to (Y/N).
Ned looked between them, realizing they were doing the smiling-at-each-other-for-too-long thing, and coughed to get their attention.
(Y/N) and Peter both looked over at him and Ned smiled, "So, got any dates to prom yet?" It was meant to be a joke, the three of them in the "nerd" clique, even though realistically they were all very attractive and much more than just nerds. (Considering one of them was the web-slinging super hero, they were much more than just smart.)
"Nope," (Y/N) and Peter said in unison, laughing together.
"What about you, Ned?" (Y/N) asked back, and Ned shook his head like it was a joke he was even asking.
"Who'd wanna go out with me?" Ned asked a bit glumly, thinking he was the unattractive one in their friend group.
"Well, I have an idea." (Y/N) winked at him and pointed down the hallway. A girl named Darla, who they'd gone to school with since elementary, noticed she'd been caught staring and blushed, turning back to her locker quickly.
Ned stuttered for a minute, his face heating up. "No, she must've been looking at one of you-"
"Dude, she's been in love with you since the eighth grade!" (Y/N) insisted, moving between Peter and Ned and throwing his arm over Ned's shoulder. "I bet you twenty bucks that if you ask her out she'll say yes."
Shaking his head in doubt, Ned stuttered again, before giving up.
"She'll probably be asked out by the captain of the football team or something- that's always what happens with the cheerleaders."
"Oh, come on buddy. You've got a chance, you're the only one that doesn't see it," Peter insisted.
"She knows me because I help her with her calculus homework..."
"Just try. If not, what's the worse that can happen?" (Y/N) asked nonchalantly.
"I'll get humiliated."
"Or she could say yes," Peter countered.
"Fine, I'll do it if you guys leave me alone about it."
"That's all I ask." (Y/N) held his hands up in surrender. Then he turned to Peter and they fist bumped.
Once they got outside Ned split off, going his own way home while (Y/N) pulled out his skateboard. Happy waved from the limousine at Peter, letting him know that he was here to take him to Tony.
(Y/N) let out a low whistle, looking at the limo. "Nice ride, Parker. Perks from the internship?"
"Uh, yeah. Yeah, Mr. Stark sends Happy to pick me up when its more urgent." Technically it wasn't a full lie, he'd usually only get picked up by Happy if it involved emergencies.
"Well, drive safe. Text me if you need anything, or just if you're bored." (Y/N) pulled Peter into a hug, patting his back and putting down his skateboard.
"See you tomorrow!" Peter patting him back before watching him skate off, looking back to Happy. As he approached the door opened, and his jaw dropped as he saw Tony.
"Was that your boyfriend?" he teased, glasses at the end of his nose.
"Oh! Mr. Stark, I didn't know-"
"Hop in kid, we've got places to be."
...
Knocking on the Parker's apartment door, (Y/N) played with the colorful box in his hands.
May opened it, smiling when she saw who it was.
"(Y/N)! It's such a pleasure to have you, Ned and Peter are in Peter's room." May pulled him into a hug and (Y/N) returned it, smiling at the comfort he got every time he was welcomed into their home.
"Thanks, May. Here, my mom made you those cupcakes you like." He held out the box and May gasped, her smile getting brighter.
"Oh, that woman..." she shook her head in amusement. "Tell her thanks! Now I've got to make her that pasta she likes so much."
(Y/N) laughed and patted May's shoulder before making his way to Peter's room.
"Happy Friday boys!" (Y/N) announced as he walked into his room.
"You said that this morning," Ned commented laughing as (Y/N) slung his backpack to the floor.
"No, this morning I said 'It's Friday'. This time it's happy," (Y/N) corrected with a smirk, sitting down on the floor with Peter and Ned.
"Don't forget, it's not just Star Wars it's also studying," Peter reminded with a laugh, pulling his books out of his backpack.
(Y/N) let out a dramatic groan, clearly joking, because he didn't mind what he did as long as he got to hang out with his friends (especially Peter).
About half an hour into studying, Ned left to use the bathroom and Peter and (Y/N) started talking.
"You've asked people out before, right (Y/N)?"
"Yeah, why? You got someone in mind?" MJ was (Y/N)'s first guess. (Y/N) had seen how he looked at MJ and wished it was him instead.
Peter, on the other hand, was only thinking of (Y/N). He was extremely handsome and charming, always jokingly flirting with Peter- but no matter how smart he was, he was oblivious to Peter's obvious attraction to him.
"Uh, yeah, I do. I was wondering if you could help me ask them out to prom? Just like, give me tips or something on how to impress them..." Peter nervously chuckled as he trailed off, scratching the back of his head.
"Oh, sure! But I'm not sure there's much I can say to help. You're a really great guy Peter, and anybody would be lucky to have you. I know everyone says this, but just be yourself and depending on the reaction you get it'll tell you if they're the right person for you or not." (Y/N) shrugged, not really sure what else to say.
Peter nodded, trying to figure out how to impress (Y/N). "Should I get them flowers? Or make one of those 'promposal' signs?"
"I always thought those signs were kind of tacky, but if you think they'll like it then I think you should go for it. And I think the flowers are a nice idea..." (Y/N) tried to give him a smile, but he didn't think it looked very confident. It hurt, not knowing if he liked (Y/N) back- but it hurt worse knowing he liked someone else.
"Okay. Okay, I'll bring them flowers. What kind do you think I should get?"
Just then, Ned walked back into the room, stopping hesitantly in the doorway as if he'd interrupted something.
"Hey, Ned," (Y/N) greeted, smiling at him.
"What's up?" Ned asked, still not sure if he should sit back down or not. He considered making an excuse about asking May for snacks or something, but they weren't giving him any clear signs that he wasn't welcome in the conversation.
"Just talking about asking people to prom," Peter responded with a shrug, going back to his homework.
"Peter was wondering what flowers he should get for his crush," (Y/N) gained back some confidence with the joke, nudging Peter playfully.
"Oh?" Ned asked, eyebrows up as he retook his seat on the ground, looking between the two. He noticed their behavior and realized it was going to be weird for a while- and that he couldn't say anything. He held back a sigh at that thought.
"Yeah, what kind do you think I should get them, Ned?" Peter asked as (Y/N) started twirling his pen in his hand.
"Who're they for? Everyone has favorite flowers, right?" Ned thought aloud, looking through his notes.
"I say roses. Everybody likes roses," (Y/N) concluded, nodding as he talked.
The boys went back to studying (and eventually Star Wars).
...
Monday morning's were always rough, and prom was that Saturday so everybody was buzzing (much to (Y/N)'s annoyance).
Closing his locker with a yawn he turned to walk to his first class, chemistry with Peter, just to be jump scared by said boy.
"Woah! Peter, hey. Gave me a heart attack," (Y/N) mumbled as he clutched his chest, his breathing ragged.
"Sorry! Didn't mean to..." Peter looked sheepish as he gulped down his nerves.
"Are you okay? You look really... sweaty." That's when (Y/N) noticed the roses in his hand and his mood dropped. "Oh, you must be nervous to ask out your crush, huh?"
Peter nodded, taking in a deep breath.
"Yeah. I just hope he says yes." And he held out the flowers with a almost scared looking smile.
"(Y/N), will you go to prom with me?"
His jaw hit the floor, eyes wide with confusion and shock. He never thought in a million years Peter would ask him out, much less over MJ, who was watching from her locker next to his with a smirk.
Truth is, Peter knew that MJ and (Y/N) shared an art class and were friends, so he asked her for advice. That's what led to the awkward study conversation, and the roses in front of (Y/N)'s face.
"Wait- what? Really?" (Y/N) asked, searching Peter's face for any hints of a prank or deception. "You're shitting me, right Parker?"
Peter just shook his head, heart racing a mile a minute.
"You said roses, so I got you roses. I'm sure if you knew I was meaning you you'd have said another kind of flower but I couldn't figure out how to ask you what your favorite flower was without giving myself away-" Peter rambled, fumbling with the paper around the bouquet of roses.
(Y/N) put his hand on Peter's fumbling one and smiled at him, "I'd love to go to prom with you, Peter. I love the roses- and I'm so glad you didn't make one of those stupid poster boards."
The boys broke into somewhat relieved laughter and Peter pulled him into a hug.
That's when they remembered that they were in the middle of a highschool hallway. Everybody was staring at them, and both of their faces were shades warmer than before.
Ned, always the loyal friend, stepped in.
"Darla!" he all but shouted through the hallway, everybody's attention going to him. He was holding a singular tulip in his hand and was sweating bullets. "Will you go to prom with me?"
Some kids started laughing, but they turned into gasps as Darla nearly squealed as she nodded her head, her curls bouncing with her movement.
"Yes, Ned! I'd love to!" She hugged him, while he just stood there in absolute astonishment. His original plan was to pull attention away from his best friends by being humiliated, not by pulling the most beautiful and talented girl in the school.
(Y/N) started clapping and hollering, Peter soon joining him.
Then the bell rang, and everybody started going to their classes.
...
"I still can't believe that happened," Ned whispered from Peter's carpeted floor, staring up at the ceiling in amazement.
Peter and (Y/N) sat on his bed, putting together the Lego death star shoulder to shoulder. They'd steal looks at each other every once in a while, blushing at their newfound romance.
When they watched a movie with May later that night they held hands and shared a blanket, and all May did was smile at them when she noticed.

Yippee!!!
Not as chaotic as I'm sure you were hoping, but I thoroughly enjoyed writing this.

masterlist | more peter parker
You did everything by the book, literally. There was a handbook resting on the front desk of the library with everything you needed to do as an assistant. You took the books back to the shelves and made sure it was in the right order. You tidied up the library computers making sure every unit was logged off and the chairs werenât a mess. You also took note of orders from the teachers, some lists from Mr. Jones, Mrs. Longford, Mr. Hayward, and Mr. Parker. You stretched your arms and legs, cracked your neck, and gave a little prayer to the universe that you wish your formal first day will be good.Â
Ding!Â
The bell on your desk pinged. A man, probably in his early 40s, stood in front of you. He wore a loose shirt with a pale pink tie, his hair was brown and sparse.Â
âMr. Parker?âÂ
âIâm sorry, Iâm Roy Jones, from the math department,â he responds. You gave an embarrassed oh and gave him his stack of books.Â
âSorry, itâs my first day.â
âAll good kiddo, you havenât seen trouble yet, good luck on your first day,â Mr. Jones gave a kind smile before walking away.Â
By 8:30 am the students came rushing to your door, you logged borrowed books, received returns, you even did the occasional hush to students being loud, it was going smoothly. The kid in front of you was borrowing a copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray, an excellent choice you thought. You scanned the QR code inside the book, logged in the studentâs info and you kindly smiled while giving the book away. Hours passed of you sitting around, sipping on an orange juice box. By 11 am at least 3 students were studying.Â
Ding!Â
Oh. The man standing in front of you was tall and handsome, probably in his mid-30s, he wore a neat suit in neutral colors, and his brown hair was combed to the side. You placed your juice box down.Â
âMr. Hayward?â you traced your fingers on the sticky notes on your desk.Â
âParker, Peter Parker,â he replied. Shit, not again.Â
âIâm so sorry Mr. Parker.â you shook your head.Â
âFirst day, huh?â you nodded shamefully. He gave you a cheeky smile.Â
âYeah, Iâm so sorry,â you took the stack of books with the label Mr. Parker on it. He reached out to take the heavy books, your fingers were slightly touching. Your cheeks warmed from the contact. There was a certain pleasingness in his presence. You scanned the pile trying to spark a conversation. âSo you teach physics?â
âYeah, 8th and 9th actually,â he carries the books in his arms, he may look lean but you could see the way his arms flexed under his suit. âAre you new to the city?â
âWell kinda, I was born here but my family and I moved out when I was 5. I figured coming here in the city could give me more opportunities,â his brows would raise while you talked, making you feel like whatever words came out of your mouth he listened to intently. âHow about you? Did you grow up here?â
âI grew up with my aunt, went to Midtown for high school, and Empire State in college. So, yeah, full-time New Yorker here,â he chuckled. âMy daughter and I still live in Queens too.â
âDaughter?â you said shockingly. He looked down at his toes, and he laughed again, that soft deep laugh. âSorry, you donât look like oneâ
âI donât look like a dad?â he said.
âI mean you look pretty young,â you bit the insides of your cheeks. âIâm sorry I must have been taking up too much of your time Mr. Parker, âtwas a lovely chat though.â
âOh itâs fine, Iâm on lunch break anyway.â you waved him goodbye and he reciprocates the gesture. âBy the way, Peter is fine, just Peter.â
He leaves, and you sit back down on your desk, your heart beating a little too fast for your liking. Your knees felt funny like they were going to give out. Oh, god. You were crushing on the physics teacher.Â
Before your shift ended Mrs. Longford called and said she couldnât go to the library due to her pregnancy. You gladly said you would deliver her the books instead. On the way to her room, you couldnât properly find her classroom, they all looked the same to you, so you went one by one, looking through the windows and checking to see if Mrs. Longford was there. By the eighth classroom, you could see him. Not Mrs. Longford, but Peter. He was demonstrating the law of inertia to the class, making a funny action of being hit in the hip by force, and the class laughed. He seems nice, and the students all listened to him, taking in every word of his lesson. It was admirable really, to have such charisma over a bunch of impressionable kids and use it to educate them.Â
The bell rings, and a swarm of students floods the halls. The books in your arms fall as a student bumps into you. You cursed, bending down to pick them up while a pair of arms reached out to help you. It was Peter, he had ditched the suit jacket at this point, his shirt sleeves rolled up to show his veiny arms.Â
âThank you, I was looking for Mrs. Haywardâs classroom and I couldnât find it,â you hugged the book while Peter carried the other stack.Â
âMrs. Haywardâs room is in the other wing. Donât worry Iâll walk you to it.â
âOh no, you must have another class, I can find my way.â you try to take the books but he moves away.
âNo itâs fine, my day is done. Let me walk you to her room.â he smiles, again, that pretty Peter smile.Â
On the way to Mrs.Longfordâs room, you talked about your education, where you went to high school, and in college, and where you live now. The conversation later went to his daughter, Mayday, named after his aunt who has sadly passed. She was 5 years old and in first grade, a smart girl, he says.Â
You reached the 3rd door in the left wing. Peter told you that the lady with short hair and red cat-eyed glasses was Mrs.Longford, the baby bump also verified his claim. You knocked, and she waved at you with a smile, you and Peter went in to bring the books. Peter and Mrs. Longford exchanged greetings and talked about an upcoming faculty meeting. You asked Mrs. Longford to sign some papers for the book requests she had made and she obliged.Â
Peter walked you back to the library. You continued to chat about random things, your favorite food (he was pizza), your favorite color (he was blue), and your favorite movie (his was Interstellar). You unlocked the library and turned the lights back on. You went back to your desk and Peter took a seat at a nearby desk. You stared at him, arms crossed, legs spread.Â
âđ˘đ¸
Weeks passed, and Peter had been visiting you in the library. Usually, heâd stay to check student papers or read new scientific publications on the school computers, he was nerdy about stuff like that; but most of the time, he just stayed around to talk to you. He would talk to you about Maydayâs science project, which you helped him come up with. It was an iced tea stand presentation that used butterfly pea flower tea and lemon juice, and it changed the blue liquid to a bright purple. She won a silver prize, Peter says.Â
Peter had mentioned before that Mayday lives with her mom and that she rarely gets to see her dad. You could see the way the line his mouth would make and how it would frown sometimes when he talked about her. You wanted to give him some piece of comfort, but every time he would smile because it was Mayday, it was his only girl.Â
You were at your desk enjoying a sandwich with your favorite orange juice box, Peter sat on the floor next to you hidden from anyone who came to the desk. He, too, enjoyed a sandwich you made. You scrolled through your laptop, mainly on the news.Â
âHey Pete, have you ever seen Spider-man?â you said, Peter almost choked on his food.
âSpider-man?â He cleared his throat.
âYeah, I mean youâve been here your whole life you mustâve seen him right?â you took a sip of your drink. Peter thought long before he answered.
âNo, I havenât,â he whispered.Â
âBoo! Youâre boring,â you threw an eraser at him.
âHey! Itâs not my fault he doesnât swing by my apartment once in a while.â
âWell, I wish heâd come by mine, take me into his arms as we swing away into the sunset,â you waved your arms around thwipping your hands like Spider-man.Â
âYouâre so silly,â he laughs, he takes a big bite of his sandwich, talking to you while chewing. âYou know, Maydayâs been asking about you, she said she wants to thank the guy that helped her come up with her science project.â
âShe said that?â you were touched.
âWell, I wanted to invite you, and she told me we haven't celebrated her win so why not invite the guy who helped her,â he finished his sandwich, wiping his mouth with a napkin. âYou donât have to if youâre busy.â
âFriday night right? Iâm in.â You smiled.
You knocked at the light blue apartment door, you could hear some ruckus inside. Coming! A manâs voice yells. The doorknob turns and there he was, Peter Parker, dressed in a light gray sweater, the sleeves rolled up, and a red apron. Behind his leg was a little girl with light red hair.Â
âHey there, Iâm glad you could come. This is Mayday,â she was shy but she gave you a little wave and a hi.Â
Dinner started in a few. Peter served baked macaroni and a Caesar salad. Mayday brought a plate of cookies she made, without her dadâs help, she said (Peter shook his head). You brought a box of pepperoni pizza as per Mayday's (and Peterâs) request. The three of you talked over dinner about how proud you were about the medal and if she ever needed help you would gladly be there.Â
After dinner, Peter took the dishes, you went to help but he insisted you not. You were left with Mayday in the living room, she was talking about her favorite book, a book about planets. Venus was her favorite, she says. You began to talk to her about the many books you have on planets in your library and if her dad permitted, you would lend some.Â
âDo you like dad?â you were surprised.Â
âYeah, heâs nice,â you offered her a smile, and she gave you a curious gaze instead.
âDad is always alone.â you looked back at Peter in the sink, the fabric stretching on his back.
âYouâre here,â you stroked her hair. âYour dad always tells me stories about you yâknow.â
âBut when Iâm with Mom heâs all alone.âÂ
âWhat are you two talking about,â Peter stands above you and Mayday, his hands on his hips.Â
âWe were talking about your hair. Mayday said youâre starting to look like a sasquatch.â Mayday giggles.Â
A few hours later Peter took Mayday to bed. Mayday hugged you and told you goodnight. You bend down to hug her and she tells you to be Dadâs best friend, always. You were sitting on the couch with your hands on your lap. You looked around the place, filled with books and a bunch of Maydayâs stuff. It seems like Peter just lets her stuff stay there, so as not to forget about her presence. Your eyelids begin to fall as you let out a yawn.
âSleepy?â he mutters.Â
âJust a bit. My head is just filled with so many facts about space,â you made a mind-blown gesture, Peter laughs.
âShe does that a lot actually.â Peter sits beside you on the couch, keeping his eyes on yours.
âSheâs a lovely kid,â you smiled.Â
âShe is,â Peter sank his head on the couch, his eyes closed.Â
âYou think Iâm alone?â he frowns. âI heard you two earlier.â
âI donât think so. You have me,â you mutter. Your hands fall on your sides meeting his. He laces your fingers with his, you could feel the warmth of his palms with your cold ones. He chuckles. âItâs pretty late, maybe you should get some rest too.â
âYouâre right, let me bring you home first,â you refused.Â
âIâd be fine,â you assure him.Â
You were outside the apartment. Peter was with you in just his flip-flops, his hand never leaving yours. âI had a wonderful night.â
âMe too,â Peter said, he took his other hand and patted your hair. You looked at him with hooded eyes, his hand falling to your cheek. You inched closer, your face so close to his chest you could smell him, like an ocean breeze. His face gets close to yours, the moment seemingly getting more tense. His thumb rubs your hand, over and over, it calms you. Underneath the moonlight, your lips meet. A tender kiss weeks in the making. Your eyes closed and you lost yourself in him. Your lips leave him a few moments later, a smile plastered on both your faces. You hail a taxi cab and when one comes, you wave him goodbye.Â
But you swore that night, the moment you entered your apartment, you swore you saw the Spider-man swing by, almost like he was waiting for you to come home.

You are in your room getting ready for this party that Tony Stark was hosting. There was nothing to celebrate he just wanted to throw a party. Him a Pepper had divorced and he's been with Strange for a few years now which is super cute.
As you are in front of the mirror trying to tie this damn tie that you were struggling with you hear Ned's voice come through the door "Come on we are going to be late if you take any longer." Hearing his voice you sigh and just take the tie off getting frustrated. "I'm Trying to do this tie but its not cooperating"
Hearing small voices outside of the room you run a hand through your hair before the door opens and Ned walks in and comes over to you. "give me the tie"
Handing it to him you stand in front of him and let out a sigh. "why cant we just wear normal clothing. Why did he insist on everyone dressing up. Its not like its a wedding or anything"
Ned laughs as he notices the frustration in your voice. Its something he hears often, whether it be from you getting frustrated at yourself or someone else. "well we can never question the great Tony Stark now can we"
Chuckling once more you say "yeah I guess your right." Ned finished the tie and then takes a step back after tightening it. "see there we go. Now we have to leave because this is the first Stark party I've been invited to and i will not be late"
"okay then come on" you say as you grab your wallet before walking out the door with Ned following behind you. However what you weren't expecting was to see Loki there with your jacket draped over his arm. They were wearing a nice black suit, their hair pulled up into a bun with a few strands left down so it shapes his face nicely. He even had put some eyeliner on and some dark eyeshadow. They looked amazing that it took your breath away.
What you didn't know was that while you were admiring Loki he was doing the same to you. He took notice of how the suit you wore fit you perfectly. You had went out with Natasha and Tony last week to go shopping for a new suit. Tony had paid for it when you said you didn't have enough money for everything and they did a hell of a job. He noticed the way your hair was gelled back a bit but still left it in their natural curls.
He was so lost in admiring you that he didn't notice the way Ned was trying to get his attention until he threw a rolled up piece of paper at him. It ends up hitting them in the side of the face causing you to laugh. "Dude I have been trying to get your attention the past two minutes. We have got to leave come on" He begins to walk to the car with the two of you following him.
When you get inside of the car Loki notices that you are a bit cold and grabs your jacket and helps you put it on. "thank you Loki" he just nods and listens to the music.
As Ned drives you cant help but wonder why Loki didn't just use his magic to just apparate there. That's what you call it since you are a harry potter fan. He hates it but you love it. You cant help but wonder why he does sit in this car with you and Ned when he has a much easier way of getting places but you decide that you love having this time with them.
You and Ned sing along to the music quietly and once you get there you get out of the car and begin walking into the building with Loki behind you and Ned beside you.
The inside of the building was not as big as it usually is and its decorated nicely. Natasha seems to be making herself a drink while Tony is controlling the music for a little while.
Your body tenses up even though you try to calm down and breath but big crowds and loud noises bother you. Loki and Ned both notice this and Loki instinctively grabs a hold of your hand silently while Ned asks if you are alright.
"yes I promise I'm okay. The both of you can go have fun. I can figure out something to do in this place" Loki squeezes your hand "ill be right back. I've got to look for my brother"
The both of them walk off leaving you to yourself and you let out a breath and walk over to the bar and get yourself something to drink. A light alcoholic drink since you don't like to drink but need something to loosen the nerves.
You were in a nice conversation with the bartender that Tony had no doubt hired for the night when you hear someone sit in the seat next to you. Not having to question who it was for very long because he spoke. "id like a water" the bartender nods and you close your eyes letting out a sigh.
Not looking at him you stay looking at the drink in front of you. "What do you want?" you wouldn't have been so upset if he was just at the bar, but no he had to sit right beside you when there's a lot of other spots to sit. "I just want to talk. Please"
Turning to finally look at him you notice the outfit he was wearing and its the one he wore on your first date and you almost throw up. "Peter its been months since we have spoken without it being for a mission or in passing. What do you need to say?"
He looks at you for a moment not knowing what to say and you scoff and get off the seat to walk away when he grabs ahold of your arm. "im sorry okay? For how I treated you and it was wrong of me. I should have stayed with you and not went to her because I was bored."
Listening to his words you look at him and blink "Thank you for taking the time to apologize for what you did. However I don't need it anymore. Its too late I'm finally happy again."
He drops your arm and nods but his eyes travel over to the other side of the room and says "I'm guessing he has something to do with it?" You turn to look where he is looking and see Loki who is sitting with his brother and speaking with him but glaring at Peter.
It causes you to smile but you give him a look and he turns away. Looking back at peter the smile still on your face. "I guess he's part of the reason yes. He's been there for me the past few months and trust me I gave him a hell of a rough time for a while there" You think of the moment that almost cost you your friendship.
----
It had been a month and you were still sad about how things had ended. You were sitting in the living room watching videos that you and peter had taken of each other and with each other and it was heartbreaking cause the light in both of your eyes were there.
You were sitting there on the couch under a blanket just re watching them. Tears were not forming, you had don't all the crying you could do already now you were just still and staring. However when Loki appears into the living room with food but when he sees you he stops. "woah what's gotten you upset darling? Was it spider boy ill take care of him"
Glaring at him you point to the door "Leave" your voice was full of hurt even though you were trying to force anger. Loki just places the food down and holds up his hands. "look I'm sorry for brining him up but re watching videos of the two of you wont help. So how about we just turn off the tv" He snaps his fingers and it shuts off.
Standing up you grab the remote but he grabs it first and makes it disappear and you scoff and hit his arm. Not wanting to actually hurt him..as if you could hurt a literal god. "Loki you aren't helping. Just leave me alone. Leave, get out"
They just look at you and shake their head "I'm not just going to leave you like this? You are a mess. Its obvious that your not okay" At his words you grab onto his hand and start to pull him to the door and you try shove him out of the door. "God damnit Loki Leave cant you get the hint?!"
They stand there and look at you in silence not wanting to anger you any further. He's never been good at comforting and he things he did it wrong this time. "what hint are you trying to give me?" they ask and you look at them "that I don't want you here! You are always here..taking care of me and I don't want or need you here. I want to be left alone"
Loki nods clearly hurt by your words but you don't notice cause you aren't looking at him. "I am sorry for taking up so much of your time. I wont be coming back to bother you anymore. Goodbye y/n"
Once they leave you shut the door hurriedly and just lay on the couch not turning the tv back on or anything and just eat the food Loki had left you. It was your favorite food and you start to feel bad for how you acted but you needed time alone. Just for one night at least.
----
Peter laughs softly and nod "you do sometimes have a bit of a rough time with people wanting to help you." You look at him dumbfounded but nod "I do and its something I've been working on" he nods and looks back over at Loki before back at you. "I'm going to go because it seems he isn't so happy with me being around you. Also I think he is overhearing our conversation"
Looking over at Loki you see the way he avoids your gaze and that's a clear sign that he was. "He tends to be a bit protective over me" you laugh softly and Peter places his hand on your shoulder. " I hope we can be friends in the future and you can find it in yourself to forgive me"
You nod and look at him "I'm sure we can be friends, just have to take it day by day. I cant promise anything though." He nods "yeah I get that...I should be going. Ill see you around"
He leaves you there and you finish your drink as you think back to when you apologized to Loki for your outburst and he still cared for you even when he was still upset with you. He always was there for you no matter what and you couldn't understand why.
-----
It had been almost a week after you kicked Loki out and told them to leave and basically not come back and to say that you were sad about it was an understatement.
You had sometimes went onto your phone to contact him but then your pride got the best of you and you decided against it. However tonight was the first night you weren't sad about Peter. You were just sad over the fact that you lost Loki. So instead of just calling you you decided to go get alcohol.
Grabbing your phone and wallet you get into your car and go to the nearest place and get the strongest drinks they have and then bring them back to your place. Then once you were home you turned on some music and decided to just drink while you listened to Loki and yours playlist.
From already being a lightweight it didn't take long for you to feel the affect of the drinks. You felt light on your feet from being very buzzed, almost drunk but you continued to drink because he was still all you could think about.
Eventually you stopped walking around your house and flopped onto the couch and finished the current drink you had. You were drunk by now and it didn't help because you still thought about him. God you hated the taste of this stuff but it was more bearable since you got some fruit to have with it.
After finishing your drink you place the glass onto the table but it falls off the table and rolls on the floor but its the least of your worries because now you grabbed your phone and dialed his number "Hello?" their voice sounded heavenly over the phone even when it was guarded and had a hint of a frustrated tone.
"Loki? Where are you at right now?" you ask, your words slurring together. "y/n are you okay?" they ask but you interrupt them "just please tell me where you are?" He sighs "I'm at my place I have here in town"
Before they could say anything else you hang up and place your phone on the couch. Then you just walk out of the door leaving your jacket, shoes and phone behind. You knew the way to his place like its the back of your hand. So even in your very intoxicated state you were heading the right direction.
You didn't have any worries going through your mind right now except to get to Loki. However with him it was a different story. Loki had kept calling your phone and texting you asking what you were doing and why you sounded so drunk. They knew you never drank so they didn't understand why you sounded like it.
However you weren't answering so he instantly left the house and began walking the street and once he seen you from the far end of the street he instantly teleported himself in front of you. Causing you to gasp and eyes go wide. "Jesus Loki you scared me. Id like a warning next time you do that" you could barely get the words out and he puts his hands on your shoulders. "are you drunk"
Stepping away from him a bit you glare at him. "listen I am an adult I'm allowed to drink however much i want. Tony does it all the time." They just stood there in front of you "well Tony also doesn't ignore someone's phone calls and make someone worry" their tone was snappy and it seems to sober you up for a second and you check your pockets. "I left my phone at home...I just needed you"
Loki looks at you and sighs "come on I'm taking you to my place so you can sleep this off"
You cant remember much else about that night in full detail. The only things you remember was you apologizing as he held you close to him. How they made you drink water and talked with you till you passed out on their couch
----
Loki was always there and always took care of you with no questions asked. Its gotten to the point where people even ask if you two are a thing. I guess its because he doesn't "flirt" with anyone like he used to.
They had never had a partner but he would always flirt at these events just for fun and he doesn't anymore. It drove you crazy because now you had to think about if you did like him and every time you did you would get this feeling in your gut and an ache in your chest. and as you sit there thinking about this you feel that same feeling. "oh my god do I like them?"
Wanda from across the room couldn't help but hear your thoughts and so she walks over to you taking the seat next to you. "your thoughts are very loud y/n. Why don't you just tell him how you feel?"
You shake your head "why? because I don't even understand everything myself. I feel things for him sure. Yes I do. But its Loki, they don't feel anything for people for very long and whose to say he even feels the same?"
Wanda just shakes her head and then looks at you. "if you really believe that Loki doesn't like you. Then you don't know him at all because everyone else can see the way he looks at you as if the whole world stops and its just you and him in motion" She looks over at Loki and she can tell that he has truly stopped listening into the conversation. "you should ask him to dance when the slow songs start. Just see where it goes. Not everyone is going to hurt you like Peter"
All you can do it sit there and nod. "thank you Wanda and I think I just might"

Super love ig
prompt: "i understand that you want to be supportive and i appreciate that, but is covering the house in pride flag bunting really the way to go?" (X)
word count: 474
A/N: this is rly short and unedited and i literally never write fluff but i was supposed to finish this in june but i never did so. yea đ
Peter Parker was just so adorable.Â
You had brought him to a coffee shop in hopes that the calming environment would somehow make the news go over easier for both of you. His bright smile never faltered once the entire time, he was always happy to be out with you. Â
"So, what's up, love?"
"So.. Peter, you know I love you, right?"
he could tell you were nervous by the way you clasped your hands around your coffee cup, and how your eyes darted around the cafe
"Peter.. I.."
You swallowed heavily and your knees felt like jelly, (even though you were sitting down)
"I think I may be.. trans? I know this is sudden, but I don't really feel female anymore, i know I look like one and maybe act like one, but i just feel masculine"
Silence.
Then his usual smile spread over his face and he reassured you that he loved you, and you knew it would all be okay
âââ
A couple weeks went by, and everything was perfect. You even went by a new name and pronouns, and of course Peter Parker was always supportive. He even began introducing you as his boyfriend.
but then peter began acting weird.. He seemed like he was keeping you out of the house more often, and he started to make sure he learned what time you were going to be home
It made you begin to wonder if he was changing his mind.. if he was suddenly uncomfortable with you being trans and the thought of that made your heart crumbleÂ
one day, you pulled up to your house from work and saw him standing in your driveway, looking nervous.
"Peter?" you rolled your eyes and stepped out of the car, wanting answers you knew you deserved
Peter softly smiled at you, before being cut off by your frown
"If you're suddenly unhappy, you can just tell me. Peter, I made it specifically clear that I'd understand if you didn't want to be with me after-"
"It's not that at all."
"Then what is it? You've been weird for weeks. I miss you"
"Just come inside and see - It'll make sense"
You rolled your eyes as you followed him into your house and thought "I hope this is worth it"
Inside, the entire house was decorated in various pride flags, mostly the trans one
"Oh my fucking god, Pete, what did you do?"
He smiled his usual dorky smile "I wanted to show you how much I love you! Besides, it wasn't super expensive. Consider it a token of my love, hon"
You look around again, your house a full on blue, pink, white, and rainbow mess.
"I understand that you want to be supportive and i appreciate that, but was covering the house in pride flag bunting really the way to go?"Â
